for no reason i'm going to answer your questions here 1. why he bought the balloon im not sure he saw the balloon just for sale and felt this mystical pull to have it 2. not exactly he tried many things first to try to find his purpose it was flying that was what he truly felt comfortable doing 3.it was not the buying of he balloon that gave him his cutie mark it was his first flight of the balloon and the feeling of the winds and his almost supernatural ability to predict how the winds would react 4. basically your asking what his cutie mark means well here goes: the balloon is obvious it represents his hot air balloon piloting and how his magic was almost tailored to pilot a balloon and the symbol of the winds stands for a couple things 1. his ability to feel and predict how the winds blow and his ability to map it out 2. how he is so comfortable in his nomadic lifestyle and how he is such a free spirit, with his dislike of being held down to one area. if you want i could include a pic of the cutie mark or at least a rough example of it

(starting my second character as WIP mostly because im still waiting for my first Char to be approved and im bored) Roleplay Type:world of Equestria RP Name: Windy Daze Sex: male Age: stallion Species: pegasus Eye Color: bluish green Coat Color: Teal Green Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: he has a short wind swept mane and a slightly longer tail equally wind swept. his mane is a nice azure blue Physique: slim but athletic he keeps himself slim for his job Cutie Mark: hot air balloon behind a symbol of blowing winds ( i will think of a better explanation Origin/Residence: originally Stalliongrad but he travels Equestria now Occupation: hot air balloon captain/navigator and also a merchant Motivation: he longs to always be free to ride the winds and see the world Likes: (optional) piloting his hot air balloon and feeling the wind in his mane (he is also partial to Stalliongrad treats due to his childhood) aalso like seeing the sights as he travels Dislikes:(optional) being cold (why he left Stalliongrad) days when there is no wind (means he can't go anywhere). Character Summary: History: he was born and raised in Stalliongrad but he does not remeber his parents because they died when he was young and he was an orphan most of his childhood. while he loves the kindly mare that ran the orphanage she was overbearing and strict and Windy was glad when he finally escaped and started traveling. parents: his birth parents died when he was young but the closest thing to a mother was the kindly Mare who ran the orphanage otherwise no one. Cutie mark story: after he started traveling he happened upon village with a elderly stallion who was selling a hot air balloon. When he saw it he wanted it for some reason. he stayed and worked until he could afford to buy it. after he did his first flight he found that he had an affinity for flight and understanding wind patterns he gained his cutie mark that day. Flaws: due to his life style he can seems lazy and aloof (he is not but he seems like it sometimes). Personality: he is a care-free free spirit who loves to fly in his balloon and loves traveling and seeing the world. while he seems uncaring and distractable due to his carefree personality while in fact he actually care a lot about pony's he meets and is very focused. Ability's: he has a great understanding for wind currents and traveling in a hot air balloon so much so he created (and patented) his own maps of wind currents and airship routes to all city's in Equestria (he is technically rich due to him selling his maps although he still lives like he does out of choice) his small hot air balloon allows him to move quickly from place to place selling a small amount of high value goods in different town and citys. (PS: when i say hot air balloon i mean like twilghts hot air balloon seen in the opening theme of the show not the airship seen in S2 Epi 9 )

im have an idea i just want to see if its right its about pony genealogy here is what i think so far earthpony+earthpony=earthpomy unicorn+unicorn=unicorn pegasis+pegasis=pegasis so my question is his .... can a Earthpony+unicorn= unicorn or earthpony or earthpony+pegasis= earthpony or pegasis what im asking is can a earthpony be a relative to a unicorn or pegasis im so confused >_>
