1. The Great and Powerful Trixie (Equina, Citadel) "What the...?" How many ponies intended to show up to this farce of a meeting? Trixie blanched when he trotted up, right past herself and Cronarch, towards Twilight. She spun on the spot, more than prepared to punch holes into the stallion. He wasn't armed. He was undressing her, which was frankly even worse in Trixie's eyes, but then he said something. A word. Eon-Ja, which Trixie didn't comprehend in any of the three magical languages she'd been taught during her tenure in the GEF. But she sensed a power inherent in the word, a power connected to her fallen beloved... He was trotting away with her, deeper into the Citadel. Pretty much all of Trixie's instincts were blearing, alarms of alarm klaxon like in her mind. "Cronarch, come on!" Trixie galloped after Frost. She saw him smash his radio, which was interesting. She didn't even know what faction he had been serving, for all she knew he was a GEF servitor, but... Trixie was somehow sure that this stallion intended their leader no harm. She called out after him: "What are you doing with Twilight?"
2. The Great and Powerful Trixie (Equina, Citadel) Trixie glared. She could easily have pulled something, reminded these upstarts why The Mistress of Shadows was one of the GEF's most feared operatives. But she was tired. She wanted to get Twilight medical attention, save Twilight's city, and get things back on track. These idiots were just a sideshow, rebels without a cause, crusaders without a holy grail. She had nothing to prove, nothing to gain by chasing down and kicking their asses now. So she turned away from them, before they were even gone. To her infinite relief Chronarch had finally recovered, she trotted up to him with one eye firmly on Twilight to ensure that no further harm came to her. "Chronarch, I'm glad to see you. For once." Trixie had been an idiot, a hotheaded stubborn agent in the past. To be frank, she was always going to be. But the enormity of events had managed to remind her for once that she was beholden to others, that she needed their help. "Twilight is not dead, but she seems to be suffering from some injuries, though our ever-so wonderful counterparts refuse to tell us why she collapsed as she did. We need to get her medical attention immediately." Above all else that was Trixie's primary concern. Almost as an afterthought, she threw in, "And I do believe that negotiations have effectively broken down." Vinyl Scratch (Equina, Ruins) "I'm helping." There was no question about it. Now that she knew she could trust these ponies, she wasn't going to stand by while innocents were possibly dying on the streets. "I've got magic, I know the city. Just tell me what you need."
3. The Great and Powerful Trixie (Equina, Citadel) "And what of the Princesses you support? The massacre at Stalliongrad didn't make itself out of thin air you know." Trixie remembered the day she had been told- shown, magically- the truth of the events on that day. To be fair, she had already been beholden to Twilight for saving her life then. But still, it outraged her to know that the Princesses had ordered destruction on such a scale. Small wonder they were retaliated against. "GEF casualties under the Red Fox have been minimal, under Twilight they have been as of yet zero if you assume- with very good reason- that this attack on the capital was by an outside force." She spat those last two words, shot evil eyes at both the Director and Free. "Now if any of you so much as pull a weapon in Twilight's direction, I will make your last moments on this earth hell."
4. Vinyl Scratch (Equina, Ruins) Vinyl instinctively drew away a bit when Draxis approached, held her breath when he looked over her virtually face to face. But thankfully, it seemed that he was a good guy, or at least not intent on killing her directly. She heard him out. So they were apparently a rescue team, and they had doctors. Good that there were officials responding to whatever had just destroyed the city, but... Vinyl had nothing for them, except some words: "I'm totally fine, unless whatever just happened was a plague or something..." Vinyl took shallower breaths suddenly, the thought of a deadly airborne plague on her mind. "There are no survivors down the road I came from, for at least a fifteen minute trot." Vinyl pointed in the direction she'd come from. She then threw in, if only to comfort herself, "No bodies either. It's totally clear of ponies." The Great and Powerful Trixie (Equina, Citadel) Trixie bit her lip, held her ground. So they apparently weren't responsible... but to be honest, she didn't like the way they were treating her, treating her Twilight, as if they were collectively a nuisance that deserved to be running around like a chicken with no head. She growled, tried to catch their attention as it was being pulled away. "Regardless of how much you may all hate the GEF, and rest assured that Trixie hates you all in equal measure, Twilight is a pony, and she has as much right to medical attention as any other. Also, whatever the hay you..." She gestured a dismissive hoof at the Freelancers. "... People are doing, could it wait until after we find and rally the survivors? And third... Can somepony shut up that insufferable know nothing know it all voice?!" Trixie was tired, she was scared for her love, and she did not have the patience for the bucking omnipresent idiot pretending he had something above them all.
5. Kaneigh nodded, his car purring smoothly as it awaited the chance to get in motion again. "Heh, thanks. I mean, some of my lyrics are kind of... out there, but, you know." What did he know? What the hell was he trying to say here? His sharp mind was failing to produce decent sentences now, all because of a few beautiful women. He had to keep his cool. He put his shades back on, hoping that protecting his eyes from their cute gazes would sharpen his focus again. "Mmm, so you're an underground kind of girl? I think I make more money than 'underground' implies, but hey. So what're your names, mon amoures?" Kaneigh liked the French language, he had recently been studying it and peppering phrases into conversation.
6. Does this mean Revolution might slow down to a manageable level?! Hurrah!!!! And I prefer the first one, because I'm me.
7. Fluttershy Fluttershy had been hiding under her covers, desperately assuring herself that it had just been a dream and that she would be fine, from the amount of quivering she was doing it was pretty clear she hadn't managed to calm herself down in any capacity. So she squealed when Luna spoke, jumped a good few feet into the air and crash landed hard on the ground beside her bed. "Ooooh... Princess Luna?" Fluttershy looked up over her bed tentatively, and sure enough the Princess of the Night was looking in at her through her window. Fluttershy had sent out prayers to Luna before when she was suffering from night terrors... but she had never really expected them to be answered. Fluttershy bit her lip, honestly not sure if she was any happier now that Luna was here. In retrospect, her last experience with the Princess hadn't been exactly fun. Her ears still occasionally rung from the yelling she'd been given, even though she didn't blame the Princess... She was just naturally scared. "U-uh... I just had a nightmare, Princess. Sorry for bothering you..." ----- Lambdadelta Lambdadelta summoned a new set of bubbles, which floated into the center of the room for all to behold. She was curious, she wanted to see the pieces the others had chosen and their current status... Okay, her chosen piece was already proving incredibly pathetic. But Lambdadelta found that cute, endearing. Great things could come from those overlooked for being too cute to be suspected of wrongdoing. Marlon had already admitted he had taken the Princess. Already on a stronger level than the rest of them, by fact of his piece's superiority to the pieces they all possessed. His body language, his countenance. He'd be interesting, if probably incredibly obvious in his moves for most of the game. Trixie had been caught in a position of trying to gain power... ambition would be a great trait in a piece, and with the proper moves Skeeve would have a powerful instrument of change in his hands. He seemed to have a less dominant, more subservient personality. Lambdadelta knew that players of that nature were powerful in their own right, for their ability to form strong alliances and play kingmaker. "I doubt there will be a need to hurt anybody..." Lambdadelta said reassuringly. Then her disposition very quickly reversed itself. "There being no need will not exclude a want, however..." Lambdadelta smirked, a sadistic little smirk. She left him to chew on that as she continued her appraisal of their circle. "To be honest, I didn't need to skip anything. I am now fluent in Equestrian history. If you need a lesson..." Lambdadelta snorted, amused by her own obvious sarcasm, stuck out her tongue at Jace. But he had clearly picked a piece in line with his own goals. It was at once predictable, a good move, and a bad move. Didn't this 'researcher' know that the best way to learn about an environment was to introduce an agent of catalyst? Was it the most benign way to learn? Perhaps not, but Lambdadelta had never been one for passive observation and research. She preferred a more visceral approach. Vivisection was always an option, after all. "Knowledge is a skeleton key my ass." Lambdadelta suddenly popped into and out of existence, now upside down on her own throne, her legs hooked around the back of her throne and her hair hanging. She thus observed the last player with a different angle, as in a literally different angle. Peona was being the most antagonist towards her. Lambdadelta took him as the sort who was no-nonsense and all business, which irritated her to no end. Aside from being no fun, this type was actually the sort who naturally had a leg up over her, since her powers dictated that she had to favour them. Of course, she was sure most of the players present were hard workers- ninety percent of power was hard work, after all- but Peona might be especially troublesome. But he had already made an interesting deviation, one Lambdadelta wasted no time in pouncing on. She summoned an image of the pieces walking alongside one another, inverted so that it was facing the correct way for her. For all the others, little upside-down ponies were floating through the air, caricatures of their chosen harbingers or whatever. "Occam's Razor states that the simplest solution is generally the correct one to a given problem. Everyone agree? Now, simplicity is removed, complexity added in many ways. One of those ways is to..." The candied Witch summoned a simple knife, with a handle and a sharpened blade. "... Introduce additional viewpoints to the story. Additional variables not easily accounted for to the equation. In short, extra fluff. Like..." One holographic pony began to separate from the pack, a certain filly with a diamond tiara. Lambdadelta slashed at it, it fell down for her, up for the rest, until it dissipated against the ceiling. "I am interested in your choice of start, Peona. You add extra complexity to this scenario, and in doing so, seem to give us more chances to exclude, isolate, destroy you. Am I right, guys? I think I'm right." Lambdadelta dispelled the hologram of ponies and righted herself in her throne, her expression mockingly inquisitive.
8. Penumbra smirked. "Out at a bar, huh? Sounds exciting." She understood the idea of not wanting to settle down, she was too young herself to really think of truly settling down- even though she looked as old as heck- and she acted like a young and moderately wild mare when she had the energy to. So that was her prompt response to Bridge's question. "Uh, I honestly don't know yet. I look up to Princess Luna, because she reminds me of myself in a way. Frankly, that's why I went to Canterlot." Penumbra giggled. "Dumb, right? I dunno if I'd go anywhere. Possibly back to Cloudsdale? That's where I was born."
9. Princess Mi Amore Cadenza (Starlight Hill -> Equina) Cadence heard out Chrysalis' story with wonder. They had shared much in their three days in the Changeling Hive, but one thing they hadn't shared was this. It explained so much about how the Changelings operated... to be frank, Cadence herself was no less naive, no less dumb than her Queen had been on that day she'd come to Cadence's wedding to destroy it. Her Queen was the better mare, undoubtedly. She was lucky to have her Queen by her side, and all she'd learned about love... Cadence looked at her cutie mark, smiled at the irony of it all. The next second, they were in Equina, and... oh, Celestia. Cadence fell to all four of her knees, mouth gaping at the destruction before her. Cadence had borne witness to a capital gone up in smoke two times too many now. Celestia knew how many ponies were dead now, how many were dying, how many would be dead by sunrise. The sun... the sun was gone behind smoky and blood red skies. Her aunties had once again left, their light dying, leaving only Cadence alone with a heart broken so many times over she was sure it was nothing more than a ground up pile of bloodied glass. "How... how...?" She looked up, her eyes vacant of emotion, when her Queen indicated the nearby commotion between Twilight, Free, and the Freelancers. Twilight had fallen for whatever reason. Cadence didn't really care to puzzle it out. It was too late, she reasoned, to have hope. Vinyl Scratch (Equina) "Get the medical teams set up in that building, spread out search parties of three, one pegasus, one unicorn, one earth pony." "Hey? Are there ponies alive in there?" Vinyl rounded a corner of a now half-standing building, saw Draco and Draxis and all their soldiers. It was amazing, how great ponies looked after not seeing them for whole minutes following a calamity. Vinyl was about to gallop over, but her eyes registered the group. A group was potentially dangerous. She shied away, kept her distance. "H-hey. Could one of you guys tell me what happened? Please?" The Great and Powerful Trixie (Equina Citadel) "Hello? Hello!? Is anypony in here?" Trixie searched through the rooms of the Citadel that still stood, looked around walls, through half-disintegrated doors... not a trace of life. She was about to rally herself, retrace her steps, when her mind registered a strange blip. First, she wondered if it were a spell or perhaps her own weariness... but no. That was a signature popping off her mental radar, and with a chill that went to her bone Trixie realized there was only one pony left in the capital with a magic signature strong enough to register when it was nullified for whatever reason... "Twilight!?!" Trixie took to the skies, her cape billowing in the wind behind her, as she rushed toward the last spot she had made note of Twilight's signature. Trixie landed right behind Free, the Director, the Freelancer soldiers. She only had eyes for Twilight however, barged right past them and toward her. Oh heavens no. Trixie was sure she wasn't dead, but the scene being as suspicious as it was... Trixie clapped a hoof into the ground. All over Equestria, the images she'd sent to warn the other chancellors of the GEF vanished. If Twilight had been in any way harmed by any of these buckers, all of Trixie's power wouldn't be nearly enough to torture them for what they'd done. She turned around as if protecting Twilight's fallen body, warning in her voice, a dagger or ten glinting suddenly in the air, points towards the lot. "Did any of you do this?"
10. Obviously FS has a secret oasis of her own. You know, I'll have her drop by, just so we can activate that plot point, if that's alright with you Val.
11. Wordplay trotted after Indie, leaving a tip of two bits on the table behind her. She'd given Pumpkin her two bits on the pricing of his food, so she figured she'd leave him an extra two bits for his trouble. Wordplay put her shades back over her eyes as she stepped outside. "Are you free now? If so, I am too."
12. Well I know my OC would be interested in going along. I think this'll work, for me at least.
13. "Well, that will save me the time of detailing my strengths, I suppose," Wordplay nodded, it would indeed have been a futile motion to describe Octavia's body of work to Wordplay since she knew it all- not by heart exactly, but she had an excellent grasp of it all the same. It was the strangest thing, hearing stories from one of her musical heroes mouths directly. When one had an idol, they lauded them above the heavens in terms of ability and temperament. So to hear them talking of perfectly ordinary things... it was at once a happy let down and a sad equalization of the scales, though Wordplay would still put Octavia's skill as far above herself. "I- wait, what? As in, he couldn't sing? Or as in he actually used his tongue to play an instrument?" That last thought of hers was an especially strange mental image. Wouldn't that hurt if it were a classical instrument? Wordplay looked at Octavia at that moment, realized that she was having a moment, as if frightened by the thought she had just evoked. Wordplay stared, morbidly fascinated. She wasn't sure she wanted to have her question answered now. Sometimes ignorance was best, after all. "Uh. Never mind, don't tell me. Sorry." She smiled sympathetically as Octavia came out of her reverie, for both their sakes that memory would hopefully not be revisited this day. So Octavia was in Stalliongrad for a very similar reason to herself. The only difference being that Octavia was already an established musician, while Wordplay was significantly less than that. "If by 'mellifluous' you mean bad, then that's true; and if by 'mellifluous' you mean good, than thank you." Wordplay shrugged apologetically, as if she were sorry for her lack of a lexicon. Though she was a quote unquote 'master' of wordplay, such a skill didn't demand advanced vocabularies. Multisyllabic words were hard to fit into a rhyme scheme anyways. "That famous rap producer with the huge ego from Canterlot is hosting a big freestyle up in Stalliongrad, and it's a good opportunity..." Wordplay trailed off as she appraised the dining cart, as she noticed the commotion Octavia had noticed around... "... You have got to be kidding me!" It was said in a happy way, as if Wordplay were thanking the Princesses for this one in a million opportunity. Vinyl was the second in Wordplay's trifecta of musical heros, the third being the stallion whose freestyle she was attending- good thing he couldn't be here lest Wordplay devolve into a fangirlish mess- because Vinyl was probably the best composer slash producer of the three. Her dance beats were legendary, and many a night had passed when Wordplay had heard them playing in the clubs she frequented. She was in the presence of greatness, twice over. Wordplay suddenly started looking about, nervous, as if she were an animal caught in a cage, her face flushed. She was finding it increasingly had to avoid having a reaction, one which would be humiliating for all involved. "I-I-I guess it is." Wordplay managed to stammer out.
14. "Well that kind of is who I said I was, isn't it?" Kaneigh remembered that he was in the presence of pretty women, in his presence as they were, he tried to keep the sarcasm out of his tone. He had no idea what outsiders would know about him- nothing at all, in AJ's case- but he didn't want their possible knowledge of his ego to mar his chances with them. Kaneigh stretched out his wings, a casual motion, as he nodded at AJ. "That's alright ma'am. I'm Kaneigh West, I produce and rap. Your friend here already seems to know me." He smiled at Rainbow, who seemed to be having a moment. A moment could so easily become something more, if he played his cards right. She'd even compared him to Vinyl Scratch, who was... who was who? Kaneigh had never heard that name before. "Which is weird. I only had one little album... Even if that album was critically lauded to the heavens." It was the strangest thing, sounding both humble and egotistical at once. ((That album would be the Equestrian version of Collage Dropout, Flight School Dropout))
15. The Great and Powerful Trixie (Equius, The Citadel) Trixie was relieved when she looked back and saw two dragons following. If there were really two hundred something survivors somewhere in the compound she'd need all the help she could get. She landed on the ground, sent out a pulse of magic, searching for the signs of life. As she did, she noted a powerful source of magic close. Unless it were the enemy, there was only one mare that could be... what was Twilight doing here?
16. All my friends who play LoL, myself included, are annoyed with our one friend who insists Heim is a decent champ. He has his situational uses but for heaven's sake he needs a rework. Also, there are perpetually angry people (and sarcastic people, like me). Really, it's best to just play them. Helps improve your skills.
17. Swan's sort of an idiot, so if she were in a love triangle she'd be oblivious to it at first. I think the focus then would be on Val's OC x Nocturne, and my character would be a comedic aside.
18. ^x2 TRINITY FORCE!!! I gusta the LoL, I main IRELIA solo top and a bunch of other champs for the other lanes. I am always willing to talk or play LoL, my account is Finaletiro on NA!
19. Eh, I'll come up with something for FS. She could go into the Everfree and summon an army of animals to her... that would be kickass, actually. Trixie did spit on Knowledge, if that counts for anything.
20. Heeeeey.... Fine, I'm not a legit girl. Man, don't remind me. Anyways, my idea was using an idea I have for an OC still going through apps, Swan Dive. She runs a well read publication, so she'd try to get an interview of Nocturna and her Shadowbolts... and that's about it. It could be integrated into another idea?
21. My sense of spatial understanding in this RP repeatedly goes out the window.
22. (Probably arrange to meet somewhere else later on) Wordplay nodded, suddenly excited, and it showed it the sudden upswing of her pitch. "Recorded? I like the way you think, Indie my man. We should meet up somewhere when we're both free, talk terms."
