Velvet smiled at the newcomer to Cloudsdale, "Well welcome to Cloudsdale BookWorm!, and if it's bits you need then no problemo!", She reaches into her pouch at her side and pulls out atleast 20 bits for his groceries. She opened BookWorm's pouch and placed the bits inside and smiled at him warmly then forgot that he asked her her name, "Oh my is Velvet, Velvet Rose. rising fashionista".

Velvet Rose snoted her nostrils in agrivation as she had to wait in this long excrutiating line just to buy some groceries for the week, when a young stallion tapped her on her shoulder. She turne around and looked at him with confusion on her face, "Why no I'm sorry I don't believe I have ever met you before...". She smiled at thinking of meeting a new pony. "Well even If I have never met you before I have now so what is your name?".

At an early age they tried to coax her into weather but she preferred fashion, especially when one day a beautiful pony that had butterfly wings instead of normal wings came to Cloudsdale with a few other ponies from Ponyville. Her outfit was amazing and so were her wings. Ever since Velvet saw those gorgeous wings she vowed to at-least attempt to make clothes that at-least looked as beautiful as those wings. Velvet is an honest,nice, and generous pony. The one obstacle that kept keeping her from her dreams was that she wasn’t experienced enough to even start sewing. After taking pointers from some of the outfitters in Cloudsdale she started getting started. Her first attempts were nothing far from shabby. There were cousins of hers who were willing to model her clothes so she could see them on a pony but they always looks disgusting! It took her a while until she finally made a suitable dress but it was missing certain accessories. By the time she was a filly and nearly finished flight school, she flew down to the ground and went to a lake where she saw a few lilies floating in a lake. They had little dew drops on each of their petals as if someone purposefully put them there for her to find. She gently took the lilies up towards the clouds and far enough so the dew drops froze onto the clouds as they were. She was so excited that she immediately sewed the lilies into the dress. When one of her cousins wore the dress around Cloudsdale the dress was so gorgeous that it gleamed the sunlight off of it and attracted a mate to her cousin causing not long after for her cousin to get married. At the wedding Velvet received congratulations from not just her parents but also random ponies that she never met in her life. She recievd her cuie mark after realizing that her talent was that she could bring together her friends and family with beauty. The diamonds represented her friends and family and the lily represented the beauty of her outfits. After realizing her true talent she set up a shop in Cloudsdale.Her personality helped her get her new found customers great bargains and she was generous enough to let her customers put clothes on lay-away until they could get enough bits to buy their favorite outfits. Her parents visit her when ever they could due to their jobs to see what new masterpieces she had creates (which weren’t many) but they were glad that she never gave up.
