Taiko watched a colt stumble into the pegasus mare. She had tried to warn her but when she opened her mouth to say watch out, it was too late. Instead she stood with her mouth open like a silly filly. She was able to turn it into a small giggle when the mare made a joke about Manehattan being busy. This was a slow day in Taiko's mind. Finally she suggested that everyone go in together. "I like that idea. It's been a while since I've been in here. Been so focused on living and what now."

Taiko listened to the mare from Cloudsdale. Her father was from Cloudsdale but he too had left. Since her dad had told her about the amazing city in the clouds, Taiko had wanted to go so badly. It would definitely be her first stop once she left Manehattan. Then The Stallion explained why he was in the city. He had been there for for a bit longer than the mare but still he was wasn't from around there. Both ponies were in Manehattan for the Exhibit in the museum. "That's super cool. I'm from here. Kind of boring huh? I'm not old enough to go out on my own though." Taiko explained to them. "I'm one of many block musicians in Manehattan. My dad, Capriccio, lived in Cloudsdale though. Once I leave the city, that's my first stop, then Canterlot!" The young pegasus explained with a smile. "Oh, forgive me! My mom would kill me for not introducing myself sooner, I'm Taiko Fairy! I was planning to go into the exhibit today. Mythological things are cool."

I hope to have it finished tomorrow or this weekend. My house is getting appraised soon so I've been helping the family clean it!

Occupation: Marine life caretaker Motivation: Ocean has always wanted to take care of the coast of Equestria. When she grew up on the Gallopocus islands, she saw many people littering and that would hurt the marine and plant life near by so she has always wanted to save the waters. Likes: Water, Fish, Marine life, Swimming, Laying on the beach, playing on the beaches Dislikes: Flying, being too far from the water, littering, pollution Character Summary: Ocean Eye's Parent's are both unicorns. Her father, Onyx Hoof, comes from a distant line of island ponies who had different colored coats to blend into the water, forest or mountains. Her mother, Light Bright, was a the daughter of a candle make who lived on the island. Her father is a sculptor while her mother is a candle maker still. Before having Ocean Eyes, they had Forest Ranger a green unicorn with green spots who is Ocean's older brother. The two unicorns had debated, once Ocean was born, whether or not to call her Bright Eyes aince they were unusually bright. In the end, Forest Ranger came up with the name Ocean Eyes since her eyes were "ocean colored". Ocean Eyes ever since she was a foal, loved the water. She would always beg her brother to being her to the beach to play. Ocean and her many friends would love to play at the beach and it became Forest's job to watch them.Most of the times the young ponies would play ball and when it wandered off, Forest had to go find it. Most of the time Forest was a good stallion about it. Ocean loved learning about the water so she was always reading about it in the library. Many of the fillies and colts who liked to fish, brought Ocean along so she could identify fish and help find good fishing spots. During her younger years, she was often found swimming in the ocean and trying to catch fish. Many times she would have swimming races with other ponies. As a filly she could beat almost any younger pony, as she grew up, most of her earth pony pals started to beat her. She also would try to hide in the water and scare passing ponies. Since her coat is two different shades of blue, in the right light, it makes it easy for her to hide from others and scare them. One day while Ocean was on the beach, she had noticed something strange about the beach itself. After studying everything she could about the beach and being at the beach daily, she was able to spot weather patters, fish migration patterns, she could identify wildlife too. The beach smelled very strange that day and their were many fish that had washed up on the shore. After a few days the other island inhabitants noticed this. Within a few days, hundreds of fish had been washing up on the shores. Most ponies started throwing the fish away and thought there was a just a huge storm out at sea, but when the fish kept showing up after a week, they realized otherwise. Ocean examined these dead fish she noticed that they had started eating trash which killed them. It turned out that there were some cruises where rich ponies from Manehattan, Canterlot and the other big cities had come to her island and were throwing their trash in the water. The fish started eating all of their trash and Ocean realized it was killing the fish. She quickly organized some of her fisherpony friends and all of the their ponies in her school at the time to go around the beach and pick up the trash. After getting the trash picked up, Ocean realized that she could see when something was wrong with the water and that it would be her job someday to protect the water and marine life. That was the day she got her cutie mark. The wave symbolizes that she was good at the water and the eye shows that she can spot details and problems having to do with the water. Ocean has been a prankster since she was little. Sometimes she tends to go overboard though. She also is not very good with magic. The only kind of magic Ocean can do is anything relating to nature but this isn't even good. Most of the time, Ocean acts like an earth pony with a weird growth on her head. She isn't as strong as a normal earth pony, but she comes rather close. Ocean can get caught up in her work so Forest is usually forced to go find her. Since Ocean and Forest have never been separated since her birth, she is also a bit dependent of her big brother. Most of the times she can be seen pestering Forest for things which makes ponies believe she is still a filly. Since Ocean was a filly, she's been a silly little thing. The unicorn never took anything seriously with the exception of the ocean and the beaches. The pony loved jokes and playing pranks on every pony. Because of her silliness, many ponies thought her cutie mark would have something to do with pranks. Other than her pranks, Ocean is one of the most friendly ponies on the islands. She also likes talking to everypony. She loves to help everypony even if she might not be as strong as some ponies. Most of the time she might be working, but she will always find time to help anypony in need.

Taiko Fairy, one of the many musicians that played on the corners of Manehattan streets, had just finished one of her many performances for the day. Like most day,s the pegasus had been flying all over town with her Djembe to find a heavily populated area to play at for the next showing. The gray pegasus had found that the park seemed to be quite populated today and the pegasi hadn't scheduled a rain this week so the ground would be dry too. She had noticed the museum was rather populated but that was due to the new exhibit. Something Taiko had wanted to see before she left home on her adventure. While flying overhead she noticed a pony who didn't seem to be from Manehattan. The mare didn't seem to be maneuvering the crowds very well. Taiko wasn't very good at getting through them either, she just flew over them. Finally the mare escaped the crowds and made her way to the museum. Before Taiko could land and introduce herself, another pony made his way over. Not that Taiko cared, she did what she wanted and she would eventually go over and introduce herself anyway. Once she landed that is. The museum entrance wasn't the best place to land, especially with an instrument, but it was the only place at the present. The older filly landed pretty quickly and managed to kick up a bit of dust around her that many of the Manehattan locals disliked. "Whoops..." Taiko said once she noticed the small mess she made. She just shrugged it off and pranced over to the two pegasi in conversation. "Hey! You guys aren't from around here are you?" She asked. "You don't really look it that is..." She said quickly. The Musician didn't want to be rude... well too rude. ((Hope it's OK that I jump in.))

Yay! ... I totally spent 20 minutes looking for this in another forum... I felt stupid.

Taiko looked at Gentaro with a strange look on her face. The pony had transformed in a flash of light, again. The flash had hurt her eyes so much that she had to keep them closed for a little bit. When she opened her eyes there was some fancy square thing on his left with another fancy dohicky that the city mare didn't know of. "What in the name of Celestia is THAT!?" She asked him as she gestured to the stange things that had appeared before Gentaro. "Seriously Gee, what is this madness?"

Using her quick drumming reflexes, Taiko caught the Earth Pony's coat and draped it over herself before going back to her Djembe. Usually she would pout about accepting other's help but now wasnt the time. Instead she sat back and listened to Gentaro explain about his technological do-hickey. She learned about him being a superhero, which was pretty awesome because now she knew about a superhero pony and his secret identity. Having two older brothers, she knew about superponys because her brother's loved them. The Astro Switches were interesting. It gave the an earth pony such as himself a way to use magic. That was pretty cool in her book. She had always wanted to use magic once, Sonata Fairy and Grandisimo were both unicorns who used magic constantly. "So you can use magic with those switches...? And you also lost a bunch somehow..." Taiko asked, trying to wrap her mind around the Astro Switch. She had stopped drumming again so she could think about the switches. "Why don't you just go find them?"

Taiko looked strangely at Gentaro. "Hey, Gee, what are you even talking about?" 'Gee? When did I creat a nickname for this pony?' She thought. Taiko could tell that the pony was worried about something. He even started tearing up about whatever it was that he had lost. "I mean, Gentaro, what are you talking about?" Taiko secretly hoped that he didn't notice her shortening his name. While Genatro was looking in horror at the lack of his items, Taiko decided to take off her chudaiko. The drum came up to her neck and weighed quite a lot. Getting it off her back was easy, getting it on was harder. She also took off her saddle bag and djembe drum and put them next to the chu. The next thing she did was stretched out her wings. They got pretty sore while sitting under her drum. Taiko noticed a pegasus in the air doing some tricks but disregarded him. She was more focused on helping Gentaro. "You got anything in that bag to keep us warm?" She said jokingly in an attempt to cheer him up while she put her hooves on her djembe and started playing a little something quietly.

The young mare raised an eyebrow skeptically at Gentaro. "You're kidding me right...?" She knew he probably wasn't kidding but it was a bit shocking. Taiko knew that she wasn't the best with Geography, that was more Sonata Fairy's forte, but she knew where Staliongrad was. Sonata Fairy was the smarter of the sisters. Sonata and Gamelan were the smart siblings. Grandisimo and Taiko were the not so smart ones. Taiko rolled her eyes. "Stalliongrad is one of the northern most cities in all of Equestria. We're on the east side of the country... so we're pretty northeast of err'ypony." She paused. "And its very cold here..." Taiko shifted slightly. Her chu was digging uncomfortably into her back and it was messing with her wings. Not to mention the Djembe was rather heavy and hanging off her too. The slender pegasus was pretty strong despite her size, but she wasn't able to hold heavy things for a long time. 'I should be getting moving soon...' She thought.

"Oh! Japony!" That made sense to her now. Taiko had never met any pony from Japony before, nor had she been there... She also had no idea where Japony was, but she blames that on her poor geographical memorization. That was her number one place to go to after she felt more confident in her field. "Er, thanks... Gentaro?" The gray mare had always been bad at names. Hopefully she had gotten the name right. "I'm down for being friends..." 'I think...' She felt pretty strange being with what seemed to be a very emotional pony... but then again her eldest brother, Grandisimo, was a pretty emotional stallion that fell in love at a drop of a hat.In the end she shrugged it off. "So... Why is a pony from Japony all the way up here in Stalliongrad? It must be a large temperature change." It was one for her. Taiko was freezing. Her current attire did NOTHING to keep her warm. 'That's what you get for living in the south all your life, Taiko.' She thought to herself.

The pony before her seemed shocked at her presence since he ad let out a squeak. That had amused her. She knew she was sneaky occasionally but no pony reacted by squeaking at her. This almost made her giggle. Then he changed to a different sort of pony and spoke again to her. Taiko was shocked at the pony's happy go luck personality. She figured that a pony that seemed pretty cool like him had to be slightly stuck up. But this goes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover... or in this case, a pony by their exterior. His declaration about being friends with everyone was pretty impressive. She had never met anyone who wanted to be friends with everyone. 'When he says everyone, does he mean every living creature in Equestria... or just every pony...?' Taiko wondered to herself. She quickly put that thought to the back of her mind when he asked her about her profession as a Taiko player. Not many ponies know about Taiko. Most of the time she had to explain it to every pony she met, not that she minded. "I do play Taiko, yes." The pegasus answered in a normal tone. "I will say, you are the first pony to even know about Taiko... Have you seen me play before?" She knew of a few Taiko playing ponies, but none of them had specialized in Taiko like she had (hence her cutie mark). Then she realized that she never actually introduced herself. "Oh, I'm Taiko Fairy. I'm from Manehattan." Taiko paused for a moment before adding, "I am the Mare that will spread Taiko and other non-traditional music all over Equestria." She finished the declaration with a hint of pride in her voice.

((Erm, I have no clue if I can join but here comes me I guess)) Stalliongrad was the coldest places Taiko Fairy had ever been in. After growing up in Manehattan most of her life, the young Mare had finally left the big city to explore Equestria and bring her music all over the place. Taiko had expected her journey to be rough and hard but she never expected it to be as cold as she currently was. Her typical blue and white Hapi Coat was thin and did not keep her very warm. The hachimaki in her head was the only thing that had any sort of warmth and that only covered her forehead. The pegasus had finished a performance on one of the corners in Stalliongrad and she was currently carrying her Chudaiko on her back with her drumsticks and djembe in her sattle bags. "What a cold place." The young mare muttered to herself. one of her biggest bothers was being too cold of too hot. Unfortunately, the didn't have anyway to fix it so she was stuck. Usually flying would warm her up, but with her drum barely tied down, she wasn't going to risk flying. It was a good thing too. Not even a second later she saw a pony crash straight into another! Before she could react, another pony did and caught the filly. Then something that she couldn't entirely explain occured and she was more or less mind blow. Taiko watched the scene in shock. After a few moments her brain registered what had happened and she was shocked. "Holy Mother of Celestia! THAT was something you don't see everyday. Even if you are a city dweller." The mare said with a slightly amused tone. The gray pony walked over to the the two ponies. "Care for any assistance?"

Any other comment or concerns about my character from anypony?

I would totally be a Blank Flank in real life. I think my talent might lie with music but I am unsure...

My friends made me become a brony... well pegasister. My best friend started watching it and my other good friend started and then a few week later, I stared watching it. I'm pretty convinced that I could get my brother to watch it. But Over all, my friends are cool with my brony-ness.

He tail is tied back with white ties and is kept short enough that it doesn't touch the ground. Eye Color: Bright Blue Cutie Mark: A chudaiko with taiko bachi crossing a director's baton behind the chudaiko. Physique: Taiko is a slim pony. There are some muscles on her shoulders and hind legs but overall she is quite thin and average height. Origin: Manehattan Occupation: Street Performer - soon to be traveling street performer Motivation: Taiko has always loved performing any kind of music. She is known for her skills playing taiko related instruments but she has always been open to learning and performing with other instruments. She wants to spread her music everywhere. Likes: Music, drums, performing, sweets, showing off, flying (occasionally). Dislikes: Mean and rude ponies, healthy food, being too hot or too cold and spiders (spiders are scary). Character Summary: Taiko was born to a light pink unicorn mother, Dream Fairy and pale green pegasus father, Capriccio. Her father was from Cloudsdale but left to come to Manehattan to perform his music. Her mother has always been in Manehattan. She was in the upper class of society and ended up leaving to be with Taiko's father. Taiko is the youngest of four ponies. She has two older brothers, and one older sister. Her brothers are Grandioso (a muscular red unicorn) and Gamelan (an average green pegasus), and her sister is Sonata Fairy (a fair white unicorn). The girls of the family kept the Fairy in their name where they left it off for the boys. Taiko was introduced to music when she was just a foal. Her first instrument was a chudaiko. Since then she has always loved drumming. She started performing with her sibling and father as she grew older, most of the time she was just dancing or flying in the front which made other ponies call her adorable. When she became a filly, Grandioso left to start his own traveling group with his friends so Taiko took over and played in the group. Before she joined her father's music group, she was a blank flank. It was mainly because she wasn't able to figure out what her talent was. She knew she was good at music but she wasn't sure at what instrument. Grandioso had a large music note as his mark, Gamelan had a Metallphone with a hammer for playing it at his and Sonata Fairy had a flute for hers. The pony, not being very brilliant, tried to do everything her sibling had done before her to get a cutie mark but none worked. It wasn't until a performance was over that she just took her frustration out on a chudaiko. She played for a five minutes without realizing other ponies were there. When she noticed she kept playing and just jammed the whole time, while she was playing her cutie mark appeared. Her father soon joined in on his djembe drum and the both of them jammed, with Taiko leading. Once she finished, and went home, that was when Taiko noticed that she had her cutie mark. She was the last to notice it too. Besides being stubborn and unobservant, Taiko can be quite goofy. Most of the silliness is from her sweet tooth. Even though she loved her sweets, her parents have made sure that wasn't all she ate. They also made sure that she exercised regularly. Both older ponies knew that Taiko was physically taxing so they did their best to keep their youngest daughter in tip top shape. It still doesn't stop her from eating all the junk food she can. Since she is a pegasus, she usually flies all over the house as fast as she can when she has sweets so that her mother can't catch her. Unfortunately her mother has some magic skills and always catches the filly. Taiko can be a show off. Most of the times she knows when to stop showing off, but there are a few times when she doesn't stop. She is also occasionally loud, obnoxious and over confident in her abilities. She started noticing those qualities about herself in the last few years. Sometimes she tones down her negative qualities but most of the time she doesn't care. If some pony doesn't like her for her flaws, then that is their problem, not hers. Many times she can be seen flying flying and playing a djembe while flying. Most of the times when drumming. she plays with her hooves, but she has been able to tie drum sticks with her hooves to make her playing better and more accurate. She may be small but her form while playing Taiko is good enough so that she can still make an incredibly loud sound (for a pony her size). Now she is the main drummer for her family music group but she is preparing to leave Manehattan when she becomes a mare to become a travelling musician. The older filly has been known to wear a blue and white Hapi coat and a black Hachimaki on a daily basis. (On a side note, the image is not including the Hapi Coat and Hachimaki. Once Finals are over I will make a more updated version of Taiko Fairy. Also her bangs are not exactly how I wanted them but the update will come after Finals week)

@Dunder: I have a military family, hence my small obsession. I'm planning to go Air Force, first female in the family to go military and first to go Air Force too. Taiko is something that I've liked for 2 years now but I've only been playing for 9 months with my ensemble. @Winter: They call me a Fairy. It's pretty great. I happen to be pretty punny... Or so I like to think...

Sorry... I've never been a tea person... Or coffee... I don't like coffee...
