1. Both Taiko and Sonata spent quite a long time inspecting the drum. Bits of ice still stuck to her drum and Taiko had to carefully remove it. When the ice had frozen, it froze to the heads on her drum and as Taiko tried to pick it off, the started bringing some of the head with it. While the gray filly really didn't change her facial expressions, Sonata knew the damage that had been done was bothering her a lot. The unicorn stood up and Left Taiko in the back of the shop. She pulled the other unicorn over and spoke in a low tone. "While I know you were trying to help dear, that was definitely something you shouldn't have messed with." Sonata Fairy said gently. "Ice is worse for her drum to encounter and thus damages it more. I know Taiko appreciates your attempt to help but next time when it concerns her drum, do try to ask first before helping. She is very protective of them."
2. The second rain started coming down, Taiko flipped out! "NO!" She hollered out. Rain was VERY bad for her drum. It could ruin it. "Make haste Shiver! I MUST get out of this rain!" With that, Taiko started off into a full gallop. Despite being weighed down by at least 50lbs, she was rather fast. The pony approached the Bakery adn came skidding inside. Her mane was soaked and plastered to her neck. Her muscles were incredibly visible now that her body was soaked. "Taiko?" Sonata Fairy asked as she saw her sister run into the bakery. It had just started raining at that point. The unicorn knew why Taiko had been running though. Using her magic, she lifted the large Chudaiko off of Taiko and set it on the floor. The White unicorn knew that when the drum was exposed to rain, it could break. Both Mares knew their instruments quite well. And knew what things could ruin them. Quickly he two ponies began to dry the drum the best the could before the water could be absorbed by thew wood.
3. Sonata Fairy laughed at Jester. "You silly little pony." The Manehattan native laughed. He looked quite goofy now with pie on his face. The pie looked quite good, maybe Sonata would buy some for her sister to eat. Taiko would surely love a pie. Maybe even some cupcakes. Food is food in Taiko's mind.
4. "Pleasure to meet you Jester." He must be an acrobat of some first in a circus. "I must see you perform at my earliest convenience." She replied before starting to giggle. He slightly over did her hair flip. But in a comical way. It was quite refreshing and funny. How she had missed funny ponies. The pony had been so caught up in her work like that she had forgotten about fun. Thankfully her sister was here to remedy that. Well, she would be at least. Not long after, the baker came put with many pies, all of which she assumed were for Jester the hilarious unicorn. Not long after the large bug, who Sonata hadn't introduced herself to had spoke. "I too need to place an order." the white unicorn said after the bug. "My order is rather large though so I can wait." Taiko thought long and hard as she walked though the town. What could two ponies who didn't know each othe do in a strange town that they didn't even know. Then suddenly her eyes set upon the Ponyville market. "Let us sour the market and see what we can find! Besides, I happen to be starving." She was always hungry though, No surprise there. Besides, eating was always a great idea. The two ponies could get to know each other during a meal.
5. Taiko's head whipped right back up from the floors when a voice spoke to her again. The shop owner had talked to her again. She had mentioned the strangest thing Taiko had even heard. The floors light up? What in Celestia's name was this sort of magic? Why did the floor light up? Of course this meant that Taiko HAD to see the lit up floors. It made her wonder how much they sparkled then. "They light up?" She asked in an excited tone. That had just made her day! "How could I see that?" She asked the other pony excitedly. The it registered in her brain that the other pony knew about Taiko. Well, at least she knew OF Taiko. "This is a Chu." Taiko told her as she flipped her head up to the large Chu. "Well, Chudaiko." She clarified for the unicorn. She then gestured to the Djembe "The Djembe is actually not taiko related, I juts love playing it." Taiko used many different types of drums and other instruments. Taiko preferred using her Chudaiko. "Don't worry about skins, I have a few from home but I'm always on the look out for bachi." Bachi were her drumstick for taiko. She usually used her hooves to play though. "Oh, and Pan Flutes." A gift for Sonata Fairy that Taiko would obviously play on. After all, she specialized in all sorts of instruments.
6. Sonata Fairy let out a little laugh. It was quite musical, like her talents. "I dare say this is quiet interesting. My family is just musical performers. My baby sister, bless her soul, is coming to stay with me in Ponyville." The white unicorn replied. "Though she is a pegasus. A very wild hungry pegasus. Hence why I am here. She can eat crazy fast." That was probably the reason she placed third in the Iron Pony Cupcake eating contest. Sonata Fairy thought. "Oh! How very rude of me! I am Sonata Fairy." The white unicorn gave the other unicorn a smile and shook her light pink locks back away from her face. Taiko Fairy nudged Shiver as lightly as she could with a large drum on her body. "Where shall we go?" She was hoping to change her style of speaking while in Ponyville.
7. Sonata Fairy shrugged to the large bug. She had no idea where the Baker went off to either. Then she grinned at the pony. "Quite right. I was born and raised in Manehattan. But I am settling here in Ponyville for the time being." The white unicorn replied to him. "I, like my brothers before me and little sister as well, love to travel and perform for all of Equestria." She gestured to her cutie mark which was a pan flute. "Musical performances that is." The unicorn told him. Her Pan flute was her specialty though she enjoyed all instruments. "Where might you be from? Dear pony." Taiko grinned at Shiver. "Well, that is quite wonderful. Two is a company after all!" She said cheerfully. "Where might we explore first?" The pony asked as she started walking along. Her hooves made large clopping noises since she was carrying so much on her. Suddenly Taiko's stomach growled. "Well... pardon me!" She exclaimed then followed with a giggle.
8. Well at least Taiko wasn't alone in being new here. "Well! I am quite thankful that I am not the only new pony here!" She replied with a grin. "Why don't we wander the town together? We might have the pleasure of meeting other ponies that could help us in our endeavours." The musician asked Shiver. "Company is always enjoyable whilst wandering." The pony said to the other. Sonata Fairy's eyes went wide when a bug entered the bakery. She wasn't scared of bugs, that was Taiko who was scared of them... well spiders actually. "Well I believe you might want to speak with the owner of this bakery." The pony replied with a grin. She shook out her pink wavy locks and gave the bug a grin. He was quite large and intimidating, no doubt her sister would find him 'cool and amazing.'
9. Sonata Fairy looked around the bakery. It seemed like other Ponies were in line as well. Quickly the pony moved off to the side and began rummaging through her bags. She needed to find the money to actually pay for the food that her sister loved so dearly. "Well dear me. So many ponies at once." She commented when she had found it. Thankfully Sonata had enough to pay for quite a few loaves. "Are you all from Ponyville as well?" She asked with her Manehattan accent. Taiko simply shrugged to the other pony. Sure it was interesting but she knew so much about it that nothing shocked her anymore. "So, might you be a resident of Ponyville?" Taiko asked her curiously. After all, she needed help finding her sister. Who better to help her than a native right?
10. Taiko quickly dropped to all fours again. When she landed a large thud sounded from hooves hitting ground. Taiko was unaffected though. She did kick up a decent amount of dirt but she didn't care much about it. "They call me Taiko Fairy." The older filly replied with her heavy Manehattan accent. "I am a musician by trade and I have been traversing Equestria to play for other ponies." She gestured to the large drum on her back. "This is one of my many instruments that I play." Sonata Fairy walked right into the Bakery that she went to quite often. Inside one of the family members who owned it was inside with another pony. The white unicorn slipped right up to the counter and waited to get her order taken. She knew she would need a lot of bread for her sister's visit. Mentally she counted what breads she would need and how many loaves of each.
11. Taiko quickly shook her head. "The fault is mine!" She replied in a chipper tone. Her Manehattan accent was very noticeable. She sounded quite different from other ponies. The pony reared back on her hind legs and offered the other pony a hoof. "Need a hoof up?" she asked the unicorn. Her hind leg muscles were showing because she was balancing all of her weight, pull the drum weight, on them. It was times like these that Taiko Fairy was extremely thankful for all the working out her family made her do. Meanwhile Sonata Fairy was strolling through Ponyville. She loved the village that she lived in. It was so peaceful and quiet. It made life much more refreshing than in the city where her filly sister liked to live. The white unicorn had been strolling through the market for most of the day. She had gotten almost everything that she needed to make her sister lunch and dinner. Being a Taiko Expert, her sister worked out often and also ate often. She did come in third place in the Iron Pony Eating Contest without meaning to. If Sonata Fairy remembered correctly, Taiko had missed the awards ceremony all together and went in search of more free food. Shaking her head, Sonata Fairy continued down the lane. She had to pick up quite a few loaves of bread for her little sister's stay. "She sure does eat a lot." Sonata Fairy thought out loud. "Best get four or five loaves today." The pony thought as she moved forward. "Oh well!"
12. Taiko Fairy wandered over Ponyville. This was her first time ever in a small town. It was quaint and different now that the Iron Pony was over. Much different than her life in Manehattan. Her sister Sonata Fairy, a musical Unicorn, lived in the town and Taiko came to visit her sister. The gray pegasus had been to Trottingham, Manehattan, Cloudsdale and Fillidelphia in her travels. This was her first time in a small town like Ponyville. As she walked, she recieved many stares. Although having two drums tied to you tends to do that. Her largest drum, the Chudaiko, was strapped to her back. It weighed a lot, but it was still easy to fly with. The second one, a Djembe, was a smaller drum that was tied to her side. The pony also wore a blue Hapi coat that resembled a blue robe and a Black hachimaki (a headband essentially). Her blue mane was pulled back in its usual white ribbon except for her bangs, her tail was tied back too. "What a small town." The pony commented to herself. Finally she same to a bench. "Now where is the Market here." She thought out loud. She was to Meet Sonata Fairy in the market. The pony continued trekking over Ponyville until she literally ran into a pony. A unicorn Pony who seemed to not have enough sleep. Her mane was a little messed up as well. Though it could have been that way on purpose, Taiko didn't know. Thankfully the pegasus didn't fall over. "Terribly sorry!" Taiko said out loud. She gave the pony a smile. "I didn't see you. I was looking at something else." ((Sorry it's so short!))
13. Holy Celestia. I didn't actually think I would win! Hah! And I only threw Taiko Fairy into the Cupcake eating for funzies! Had Ocean Eyes gotten one more point in the Cloud Diving, she would have tied for Third Place XD! I find it funny that the characters that I was just messing around with did rather well. Thank you everypony!
14. Might I be able to join up? I haven't RP'ed enough lately and I'm missing it! I'm not very good though...
15. This post for judging!! Taiko Fairy had been wandering Ponyville for the Iron Pony. She had a Chudaiko on her back and a Djimbe tied to her as well. All of her drum equipmnent was in her saddle bags too. She was weighed down by at least 50 lbs of equipment and she wasn't the least bit tired. Actually she was ready to go. The filly was bouncing around the area happily. Quite literally. She was bouncing all over the area. With her drums on her back and her bags of stuff. How the pegasus had any energy to actually DO that was shocking. Taiko Fairy was obviously a bundle of energy. Taiko had originally come to Ponyville to observe the events, perform and then possibly earn some money. Big events obviously had money. Money meant housing and food! Food was always good. As the pegasus wandered the event, she saw a Cupcake Eating Competition. Now Taiko didn't care much about the competing, but she did care about Cupcakes! Free cupcakes at that! Free cupcakes meant a full belly for Taiko. A full belly was becoming quite rare in the traveling musician's life now. She was always making sure she had enough money for a week of food and rooms to rent. That way if she ran out, she could go home for a bit and earn more money. As the Pony thought of home, she thought about how MAD her mother would be at her for eating as many cupcakes as she could in thirty minutes. She would make Taiko consider the pros and cons of this situation. The Pros were simple: Full belly, lots of sugar, delicious cupcakes and free food. The cons were... Well she couldn't name any. So obviously this was a win-win situation. The Pegasus jumped up happily and pranced over. She was happy to have a full belly of sweet goodness. "My turn please!" She said happily. The gray pegasus was happy to get some free food in her belly. The ponies led her to a table were there were many cupcakes. Taiko put her djimbe on the ground first, followed by her Chudaiko. That was the heaviest item weighing at least twenty pounds since she used heavy wood on it. The third thing that was dropped was her Saddle Bags and then she was in front of the table ready to go. Taiko tightened the Hachimaki and made sure her hair would be out of the way. Then she secured her hapi coat making sure it was out of the way and then she looked at the timer with a nod. "I'm ready!" She said with a happy smile. The judges nodded and started the clock. "GO!" The told her. Instantly Taiko Fairy started licking off all the icing off the cupcakes. Icing was the best thing ever. After licking off the icing, she placed the plain cupcakes to the side. The icing was obviously the hard part. After her first plate, with most of the icing on her face, she took all the plain cupcakes and squished them together as tightly as she could. This made them easier to eat. Thanks to the pony's arm muscles was was able to compact them very tightly and finish the whole thing in five large bites. But this also took five minutes. "Yummy!" Taiko Fairy commented. The next plate was a chocolate cupcake. While Taiko wasn't the BIGGEST fan of chocolate (She still liked it) she would eat it quickly. Chocolate was just too rich for her liking to eat it all the time. The faster she got these over with, the better. Off came the frosting! Then she compacted the cupcakes together. The chocolate wasn't as filling as she expected so she was able to finish it off with out much of a problem. Taiko ate the compacted cupcake in nine bites this time and it cost her seven minutes. The third tray conatined the best cupcakes ever! Vanilla Cupcakes! Sure they were plain but she liked them the best. Taiko Fairy wasted no time at all in licking off the frosting. While she licked, she compacted, saving her some time. Since these were her favorite cupcakes, she went faster than the other two. Not much faster though. The gray pegasus finished them in four an a half minutes. It was after the Vanilla cupcakes that Taiko Fairy lost track of the time. Sure she wasn't supposed to be caring about the competition, but she had. She wanted to win now. If she won, she would have a full belly, right? Right! Time to win this one! The fourth tray was a nice strawberry kind. She loved strawberries. Strawberries were her second favorite fruits! As Taiko started to lick the icing, she noticed that it tasted like real strawberries! That was fantastic. Taiko enthusiastically ate the strawberry icing. She even compacted the cupcakes as she ate. That would speed her time up. After the icing was gone (and mostly on her face) she ate the breaded stuff. That was her least favorite part. If this was an Icing eating contest, she would totally win. That wasn't the case unfortunately. The next tray was a lemon cupcake tray. Now Taiko liked lemon bars, so lemon cupcakes were the same right? Totally. Down went the icing. Most of it was on her face though. She had Chocolate, lemon, strawberry, vanilla and some flavor she didn't know at all, on her face. That wasn't important, although she WAS slowing considerably. Her tummy was getting mighty full but she was still eating. Maybe she would be full until tomorrow, that would be great! As she started slowing, the sugar rush hit. Now Taiko Fairy during her sugar rush was crazy. First, her wings started flapping. At first it was slow, but it gradually got faster until it was at WARP SPEED! That usually meant she was bouncing off the walls (of flying all over them). While her rush only lasted for a few minutes (unlike other ponies) it was crazy. Lucky for Taiko (And unlucky for every other pony) this was Taiko's last few minutes of eating. She finished off the lemon cupcakes at the start of the rush and started on the next batch. She didn't even bother to figure out what they were. They looked good and she wanted her sweets. Taiko's wings started moving at a furiously fast pace. The pegasus was slowly rising into the air from the speed her wings were flapping at. To keep herself from flying up into the air, she was flying around the plates of cupcakes. At this point she had stopped her compacting of the cupcakes and was just inhaling them. He mother would have been disgusted. No matter, free food was free food and sugary goodness always prevailed! Taiko was given her two minute mark as her next plate came out. By now, Taiko was twirling around the plate at rapid speeds while eating them. The older filly was kicking up some decent sized gusts from the spinning. She was also making herself quite dizzy. After her one minute mark was called, she was starting to feel her crash. It was coming very quickly. The first sign of the crash was her wings stopped moving altogether. This caused Taiko to fall face first into the cupcakes. Now the icing was all in her mane and face, though she didn't mind the later. Taiko picked herself up and did her best to finish the cupcakes. More vanilla cupcakes. Her legs were wobbly now and it was almost like someone had switched her legs with jelly. Even her wings now felt like jelly. Taiko still did her best to finish. Finally time was called and Taiko Fairy sadly stopped eating. While she had been eating, she didn't notice how her stomach had filled out quite nicely. That was probably one of the main reason why she hadn't flown higher into the air. Unfortunately, there was once cupcake left on the tray. It was Vanilla, her favorite. Taiko looked up at the judge with her big blue eyes and a large pouty face. "Can I take that last one for later?" She asked in her best I'm-super-poor-and-have-no-money-to-eat voice. Sighing, the pony gave it to young Taiko Fairy. The pegasus cheered and started loading up. Fist were her saddlebags, then djembe and lastly her chudaiko. She then took the cupcake and carefully placed it in her saddle bag for later. Who knows, she might get hungry again. The gray pegasus left the area still chipper and excited. She had come to get her free meal and she did. Now she was stuffed to the brim of cupcakes! She wouldn't need any more food for the rest of the day and she still got and extra cupcake. Taiko Fairy: One Life: Zero.
16. *This post submitted for judging* Cheers erupted from an arena surrounded by ponies. Cheers? What on earth for? Ocean Eyes, a unicorn pony from the Gallopacus Islands had been in Ponyville for a vacation. Vacation meaning she had been accompanying Forest Ranger on his trip to the Everfree Forest to look at trees for his new house he was building. Supposedly there was a surplus of some kind of tree that the older unicorn wanted cut down. Apparently there would be something here for her to do. Something fun to do that is. That was what Forest told her, but she didn't know. She didn't pay much attention to his fancy tree talk either, all she knew is that Vacation time was here at last! The two had been walking around the village which was completely packed. Neither really knew why. But after hearing those cheers, Ocean eyes was curious. Incredibly curious. "Forest? What's over there?" Ocean Eyes asked her brother. The unicorn didn't respond. He had been looking at a piece of paper and marking something down on it. The pony had spent most of the morning counting certain kind of trees. He was calculating something in that strange brain of his. Whatever it was, it bored Ocean. She wanted to do something. "Forest I'm going to go check that thing out, bye!" Ocean Eyes instantly started off toward the large crowd of ponies. Then all of a sudden, her tail was trapped by Celestia knows what. Ocean turned her head to see a green glow holding her tail. "Oh no fair!" She whinnied. Forest had used his magic to hold her back. The stallion was always good at using magic while she hardly knew much at all. She could make pretty little things with water and make a ribbon tie her dredlocks back... Sometimes the ribbon trick didn't even work. "Deal with it." Forest replied to her sternly. His sister was acting like a little filly, again. Not that this wasn't unusual but he wished it would stop sometimes. "You need to just hold up for a moment. Let me finish these calculations and we can go check it out." The stallion told her. He really couldn't believe that he told her they could go check it out, but whatever made her happy. He liked to see her happy. It didn't take him long to finish (in his mind) but in Ocean Eye's mind, he took hours. "Ok let's go!" She yelled as she raced over. The young mare ran over at top speed to the group of ponies. That was when she saw it. A Tug-of-war game! After watching two ponies she was confused. "How do you win! It's three versus one!? That's not fair." Forest had walked up behind her, he had another friendly pony explain the rules of the game to him as he watched. "Its a competition to see how long you can stay out of the mud. In the end you'll get muddy. It's a strength and endurance sort of thing." He explained while watching the competitors. "I don't think you should do it. I hear there is a diving competition though. Maybe you could try that?" He didn't want her getting all muddy. That would just be annoying to him. Ocean Eyes pondered this for a moment. The diving sounded cool. But this sounded fun though too. Maybe Forest should do this. He was a stromg pony. He carried trees and built houses. He could hold his own for a bit! Even if it WAS against three ponies. "Fine I won't do it." She replied in a sad voice. The shorter unicorn then started to walk off. Little did Forest know that prank she was about to play. Forest was happy that his sister decided against it. He heard the call for the next competitor. No pony went up though. The he felt himself get rammed forward. Because of the force behind it, he was moves up quite a few steps. Applause followed the ran as well as a giggle. It was then that Forest realized what happened. Ocean Eyes had forced him to go next. Seeing that he really had no choice, Forest Ranger took his spot over by the other rope. The three ponies were laughing at his sister for forcing him into the contest. "You ready tree boy?" One called out to him. Where they came up with the name tree boy, he didn't know but he was in fact ready. Forest turned his head to make sure he had a decent amount of rope behind him before picking it up in his jaws. Forest dug his hooves into the ground and prepared to meet the mud. The other three smirked at their next 'victim' and then grabbed hold of the rope. Forest leaned backward with all his strength and waited for the first tug. The first tug was a hard synchronized pull from all three ponies. It probably would have sent any pony flying had they not been prepared. Even Forest moved quite a lot. As soon as he felt the line slack a little, he pulled back, hard. The three seemed slightly impressed with 'tree boy's' power. That's what you get for carrying trees and logs for a living though. He didn't let up with the pulling though. That would only give the others and advantage. Instead he kept moving backwards inch by inch. Every inch he moved back, he dug his hooves into the dirt as much as he could. His muscles were screaming at him to let go, but Ocean Eyes was cheering for him and he did not want to let her down. It was sad that everything came down to protacting the mare and making her happy. Forest glanced over at her. She was bouncing up and down screaming something. He couldn't hear. All he heard was jibberish and pounding in his ears. While he was distracted, he had let the rope go slack. The other three seized their opportunity and tugged back hard. Forest Ranger was pulled up quite a lot. However he wasn't in the mud just yet. Almost though. Thankfully he had backed up enough to allow him to be pulled a full body length. He had fallen very little space between him and the mud so he quickly used all his strength to move back. He managed to move back to where he was at the beginning, but his legs were growing tired. How ponies could do this for a long time was beyond him. He knew the end was coming, but he still had one trick to extend his time by a little. The ponies gave another large tug and Forest loosened his grip on the rope almost completely and let it go toward the other three. This made them stumble a little bit. They didn't fall like Forest had originally thought. The trick did it's job though. Once he tightened his grip on the rope again, he could move backward a step and ready himself for a few more tugs before being completely thrown into the mud. The Unicorn started to give up because he was tired. Had be been going at this for a few minutes? A few second? Or maybe a few hours? He didn't know. But he did know his own limit. One particularly hard tug drew Forest right up to the mud, but not in it. His front hooves were slipping off the dirt. The unicorn rose on his back hooves and gave a weaker pull in hopes that he could get his front hooves down again. Unfortunately it didn't work. The ponies gave one hard tug on their end and Forest Ranger was in the mud. For the record, mud tasted awful. When Forest came out of the mud, he did his best to shake off. He could get rid of the mud with magic later. "Impressive Tree Boy!" The ponies called. "You lasted much longer than we thought." Forest felt pleased with that. "Well I carry trees for a living." He explained. The other ponies laughed. "Later Tree boy." They told him. Forest smirked and walked over to Ocean eyes. She was very happy and excited. "That was awesome Forest! You did really well! I knew you could! That's why I made you go in and and and and-" Ocean Eyes started her excited ramblings. It was kind of funny. "Did you know that the Iron Pony is happening! You just competed in an Iron Pony event! Did you know that!?" She asked him before rambling on and on about something not so important. Forest used his magic and closed her mouth for a moment. "Of course I knew. Why do you think I brought you along. I figured you would enjoy this for your vacation." Forest responded. This made Ocean Eyes smile. "Best Vacation. Ever!" She shouted. The two left the crowd of cheering ponies. Forest had no idea of his time, but judging by the amount of 'good jobs' and 'nice' and other compliments, he guessed it was pretty decent. The duo walked along in silence until Ocean Eyes broke it. "You're muddy. Maybe you should do the diving thing to wash the mud off." All Forest could do was laugh. Maybe he would stay muddy for a bit longer.
17. Taiko Fairy was very distracted by everything in the store. She had never in her years seen any sort of music store like this. Although, she usually never went into music stores. If she wanted a new instrument, she asked her father. Her father always could get one for her. It might not have been in the best condition but it worked wonderfully for her. That was really all that mattered to her. At this point in time, she was looking at the recording items used. She never understood why ponies needed that sort of thing. She would love to learn though. The pegasus would love to learn anything having to do with music though. Even it she would have to record something. "This is so strange." Taiko Fairy whispered excitedly. The pony heard someone ask he a question and she instantly turned her head. It seemed like the shop owner had come over. Another pony had answered first. The pony seemed pretty chill, something Taiko liked. Since she was a little rambunctious and obnoxious a lot. Having a chill pony around helped her be chill as well. Like osmosis or something. Taiko didn't know what osmosis was, just something that Sonata mentioned once or twice. Her sister was the smart one with her fancy scientific stuff. Since Taiko didn't want to be rude, she decided to wait til the other pony finished his conversation with what seemed to be the shop owner. Instead she found herself fascinated by the floors. It's like they have stars on the floors! Wait till I tell dad this one! Taiko did her best not to move much so that her drums wouldn't fall or knock into anything and break it. She didn't have THAT much money.
18. Taiko Fairy arrived in Canterlot. The big and glorious city was the second stop on her worldly travels of Equestria. Her first stop was Cloudsdale where her father was from. Canterlot was very different than the Pegasus City in the sky. The city here was much grander. Even though the Pegasus lived in Manehattan for all of her life, nothing would compare to seeing Canterlot for the first time. All of the general splendor was almost too much for the poor filly to take in. Almost. Slowly she walked through town. She had a Chudaiko strapped to her back and a Djembe hanging down too. She had her saddle bags filled with various drum related items and her other Hapi and Hachimaki. She even had some skins rolled up in one. Taiko looked at all of the shops. She had a little money after paying for her hotel room but she wanted to save it. She walked for almost an hour until she found a store that seemed more interesting than the rest. Mystic Spiral. It sounded like a cool name, therefore the shop was cool in Taiko's mind. Now Taiko was the kind of pony who wanted to bring different music to a group of ponies. She specialized in the oddest music around. From Djembe to Metalphone and from Trumpets to Flutes, Taiko learned it all as a younger pony. Her specialty was her name. Taiko. She was the best pony around at Taiko... Or the best that she knew! This shop would definitely have something cool for her in it. The second Taiko Fairy opened the door of the shop, her jaw dropped. The music store was styled in a way the older filly had never seen! The floors were FANTASTIC! They looked like stars on the ground! There was sheet music, something Taiko never used, Quill (also useless) and something for almost every instruments. There were thing for recording, something Taiko never understood. Why listen to a recording when you could go to the show? That was besides the point. This place was fantastic. It was full of different types of musical things. It was perfect. "This. Is. So. Cool." The filly said softly with a smile. She could not wait to dig into everything. Not knowing where to start, the blue haired filly just meandered around the store. She did her best not to let her instruments knock into anything. That would be very bad.
19. Taiko trotted after Dunder. She had lost sight of Nahima as well. Lucky for them, Dunder found her again. It took some effort for the smaller pegasus to push through the crowd but she made it out. When she walked next to Dunder, she found herself looking at another pony. She had no idea who this pony was but she was always eager to meet new ponies. "Hi! I'm Taiko Fairy!" She said happily to the other pony.
20. Taiko Fairy also followed Dunder and bought a ticket. When she got her ticket, she looked back in to her change bag. The pony didn't have much money anymore. After touring the museum she would have to go back to her father and get a second performance going. The pegasus put that behind her and tried to focus on something else. Taiko entered the museum and looked up at the grand stone arches and architecture. It was very beautiful but she didn't care much for artwork such as these. Music was much more her style, as if her cutiemark didn't give away her talent and likes. "Shall we get moving?" Taiko asked Dunder and Nahima.
21. I bet he would! I fashioned him a bit after my little brother. My brother LOVES minecraft.
22. Ocean's profile is already made... You can go look at it if you want.
23. I see what you mean. I imagine Forest being a huge perfectionist when it comes to his houses so he would want to oversee EVERYTHING. His main job is designing and building these eco-friendly houses. And Forest being the perfectionist he is, would oversee and want to be apart of it all.. I know this isn't how it works in the real work (most times). His Ranger gig is when he has at least a few days of down time on the Gallopacus Islands. I'm having a bit of a hard time making Forest. I'm not sure why. He's just more complex than my other two, who made it through the system without any trouble.
24. I hope to be finished soon! Graduation parties and graduation takes a lot out of me. I see what you're saying here. I didn't even think of that because I just knew the sciency for a while and I forgot that the ponies might not know that. I want to add more on Forest's flaws and personality before I put him in action.

Occupation: Architect and Ranger on the side Motivation: Forest has heard from city ponies that the calm island air is much nicer and cleaner than city air. Forest wants to create clean air for everypony as well as build houses for others without clearing entire forests and hurting the environment. Likes: Alone time, Peace and quiet, planting, working out, schedules Dislikes: Flying, Being late, pranks, Brussel sprouts, swimming Character Summary: Forest Ranger's parent's are both unicorns. His father, Onyx Hoof, comes from a distant line of island ponies who had different colored coats to blend into the water, forest or mountains. His father has a gray and brown coat to blend into mountain rocks. His mother, Light Bright, was a the daughter of a candle make who lived on the island. His father is a sculptor while his mother is a candle maker still. Forest was the first of two ponies from the two. When he was born his brown and green coat shocked both of his parents. Instantly Onyx Hoof thought of the name Forest Ranger for him. When he was still a foal, his sister was born and he came up with the name Ocean Eyes for her. It stuck. As a foal, before Ocean was born. Forest liked spending his time in the garden planting with his mom. They didn't have a big garden but it was enough for Forest. The pony developed faster than most ponies. Even as a foal he was very determined and serious. Everything had to go his way or he would get frustrated. As he grew up, he started spending more time wandering the woods by his home. Forest would try and identify plants. There were many times when other colts and fillies would play in the woods with him. They would make stick forts. Because of all the lifting of sticks and plants to make these forts, Forest's magic was very good. He studied his magic diligently. When his sister started getting older and more adventurous, Forest was in charge of watching her at the beach as well as the other fillies and colts who played with her. In this time he would draw out other fort ideas in the sand while watching them. Most of the times he was left alone but other times Ocean felt the need to completely soak him in ocean water. There was one occasion where all of the unicorn fillies combined their magic to pick up forest and plop him in the ocean. Not only did it shock him, it frustrated him too. Forest wasn't the strongest swimmer and usually just sank in the water. Luckily he made it out but he hasn't been swimming since. Forest earned his cutie mark while making one of his forts. His friends had started calling themselves the Gallopacus Fantastic Fort Makers. Much like the school newspaper, the GFFM because a school club. The club was run by another pony who already had his cutie mark. No pony wanted to follow a Blank Flank. It was the first fort of the year and everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The leader of the group ended up ditching halfway through. Since they were only using stick, and logs that had fallen down already, Forest quickly took over the fort making and made it better than the original plans too. With the Colt's intense knowledge of woods and the plant life, he was able to make a great fort with a plant roof without harming the environment. That was the day he realized that he wanted to build houses but using certian woods without hurting the forests in Equestria. When the fort was finished and other ponies started taking a look at the forts, Forest realized that he had gotten his cutie mark! It was a blueprint of a pine tree. The pine tree represented his knowledge of the plant life in Equestria and the Blueprint stood for a talented architect and builder. Forest and his sister Ocean are very different. Where Ocean is free flowing like the water, Forest is more stubborn and holds strong like a tree. The pony is very serious. Many times he is so serious that he doesn't see the fun things in life because everything is all about work or taking care of Ocean. Forest always wants to take care of Ocean and because of that she depends on him to take care of her. Since Ocean's birth, he has seen himself as her protector and doesn't let just any pony near her. Forest can be friendly once he gets to know somepony but he isn't initially friendly. Due to his job, Forest travels regularly. He travels to forests to see which trees he can cut down to make other ponies houses. If there is an excess of a certain kind of tree in a forest, Forest uses that kind of wood to build his houses. Since Forest is such a perfectionist, he is present for eevery part of the house making. He is there making the plans, choosing the wood, cutting down the wood, transporting the wood, building the house and presenting the house to the owner. The pony sees everything over from start to finish. He only travels to build his houses and to watch over Ocean. When he is on the Gallopacus Islands, he rangers in the forests there. Forest usually wears a dark green suit with a brown vest while he is doing his side job as a Ranger on the Gallopacus Islands. He only rangers for a few day before leaving again. In the winter though, he can be found back on the islands, since not many ponies want a house built for them.
