  1. Grey recieved the message, and began typing feverishly. "I can prove it, by fixing your wing. There was a prototype, I put it in your C:/ Drive, so if it corrupted you, I could just wipe your memories, and keep your sentience. You have the technology inside of you, a kind of tiny robot, able to rebuild. It drains your power, to fix the wing will leave you with under 5% power, but you can use your solar array, or if you are flying, the windmill will provide easy power, but the nanobots can rebuild you. Slowly, it will take a while, but you will work again, without needing anypony to repair you. Since I don't know where you are, I can't go and repair you, and I don't think anypony else can rebuild you. Under your A:/ drive, there should be a filepath. It is broken, it won't work, because the area of the C:/ drive containing it is inaccessible. Still, tell me if you see filepath 'A:/Access-C:/Right Brain/Rear/Program File/Rebuildv2.0'. If so, I can resend it, so long as you allow access to your A:/ Drive, I will install it there."
  2. Grey Matter was unable to send a regular message, the lines were not opened for that, all he was able to do was send commands, and not many were useful at the moment. Then, his screen lit up, He tapped out a reply onto his pad, and sent out the following message (In distinctive blue text, as opposed to his regular red, or black for commands): "Tool? No, you are much more than that. I made you to be much more than that. I'm not controlling you, I'm not making you do things. I can't do that, at least, not if your C:/ or D:/ drives are intact, which they apparently are. You are a pony. No, you don't have blood pumping, but you think like one. You were created to live, to be a companion, like all other ponies. Please, trust me on this. I made you, and you may not know who I am, but truth be told, I don't know why you are. I don't know why you are able to think, or even function. None of the others did. If you can just listen to me, I can prove I made you."
  3. Grey sat, waiting. He began to recount to himself the memory design. It was, mostly, flawless. Split into four drives, and two remote backups. The A:/ Drive was Autonomy, it was as simple as any computer drive, and was there to handle the computerized functions, like how to respond to commands, and it also contained the information to run the C:/ drive. The B:/ drive, which was used for Backup, was in essense a copy of the A:/ drive, along with info on running the D:/ drive. The C:/ Memory was the Complex memory, that was the name for the brain, and it stores the actual memories, as well as the ponyity ((OOC: I tried to ponify humanity, failed horribly)) of his creation. The D:/ Drive, or deep drive, was hidden within the C:/ drive, a small device, essentially using the C:/ drive as padding to keep it safe. It contained the emergency instructions, of what to do if all else failed. As he waited, he began to fear that the A:/ and B:/ drives failed, or the parts that ran the command had been in error. Fortunately, those worries were assuaged when he saw the following An image appeared onscreen, then faded. When Grey attempted an override into the visual input system, he recieved the following error: ERROR: NO MESSAGE RECIEVED As the diagnostic did not return any error with sensor equipment, he knew that communaction was limited to text, which makes his job, much, much harder.
  4. Grey began pouring over the plans again, this time, specifically the brain. He knew, to think like a pony, the mind must be organized like a pony. No amount of memories, stored in a cold format, could be...ALIVE. But, to create an electronic brain...one with synapses, nuerons, and able to create actual memories. That, he had always known, would be what makes it live. Suddenly, he got a readout. Something was happening. He was able to look into the catalog of memories. Remotely, he could not change them, or add any, but he could see one thing. There weren't any. Did the impact wipe the brain clear? Are the memories there, but corrupted? Are the links used to access them broken? Regardless, the memories acquired thus far would have taken very little of his brain. Just the right-rear part of the brain, which happened to be where the mechanical pony was first hit. Grey knew what he had to try. He sent a line of code, hoping it would reach his creation, wherever it was... "Command: Execute physical diagnostic. Assess internal and External damage. Full report."
  5. Just a query, which four ponies are you referring to? Because Grey met Neon by the front desk, where they were thereafter joined by Swash and Snowy, so unless you are actually asking the group that includes Grey, that seems unlikely. On the other hoof, Easy-Going, Thyme, Cloud, and Screw Loose are currently gathered together, but that is not at any specified location, and I would rather we clear this up before anypony responds, so the wrong group does not assume it is them.
  6. Yessir, and I will input your character into the roster as soon as I can. Do you need any summary of what is happening, or do you feel as though you are good to go?
  7. Paper books. And I don't carry a lot of books, because I have a Kindle.
  8. We do still a security guard. What is the name of the pony so I can add it to the roster?
  9. Well, I have nothing more to write I guess, so, Final it is!
  10. Also, I cant get it to bold like it said, do I need to go back and select that personally?

Relatively short tail, same color. No other markings Physique: Average. Grey is not much stronger than any other stallion, nor weaker. He is simply average, akin to the background stallions. Cutie Mark: A (Pink) Brain Origin/Residence: Grey was born in Fillydelphia, but currently lives is Baltimare. He moved to Baltimare because he was tired of not knowing everypony walking down the streets, never saying hello to anypony, and the general lack of personable relationships that existed there. Due to ponies moving in and out, he has never had friends for long, and felt he could meet more in Baltimare. Occupation: In the point in time of which this application is filed, Grey Matter has graduated from Canterlot U, and is looking to start a business. (See character summary and Motivation) Motivation: Grey Matter has always been about family and friends. He decided to be self employed simply so that, when he has his own family, he could make his own hours, in order to maximize time with them. He always has his dream family, Him, his wife, and their three beautiful foals, to look forward to. Likes: (optional) Books Smart ponies Families Parks Free Time Dislikes: (optional) Arrogant ponies Unfriendly ponies Big cities Character Summary: Grey Matter was born to Cram Fest and Study Session, two highly intelligent Fillydelphia ponies. Sadly, his parents were constantly working on new creations and inventions, and rarely spent time with their child. They hired a nanny to raise him, and as a result of his being around an older pony like her all the time, he matured more quickly than other ponies, in the social manner at least. His family had plenty of money, as his parents made a lot off of the creations of theirs. Grey eventually went to grade school, where he had trouble making friends. He was always intelligent, as a result of his genes, and of the time he spent cramming his head with books. One day, after a rough school week (Many tests means many ponies trying to cheat off of him), Grey went home, where his parents had planned to take a vacation to Canterlot, so he could see the capitol of Equestria. Grey was all packed and ready to go, not just because of the learning experience, but because it would be the first time in his memory that his parents would be focused on him. Unfortunately, they were behind on an assignment for work. Grey was desperate not to miss the vacation, and asked what the problem was his parents were having. Cram Fest, his father, chuckled, before explaining the situation. He figured Grey would have no idea what was going on, but when Grey immediately pointed out the solution, he was astounded. After filing the papers to his boss, the family took the next train. In all the commotion, Grey forgot to tell his parents until they were on the train that he had earned his cutie mark after correcting his father. His mark was a brain, from his intelligence and eagerness to learn, showing how much he knows, varying from the essentials, to little know facts and figures. That weekend in Canterlot was the best weekend of Grey's young life. He loved the attention from his parents, and it was then that he decided he would ensure that his children would always have him around, and wouldn't be almost entirely raised by somepony else. Grey knew where he was headed, and it seemed to be the same road as his parents. He did not know how to use his intellect to make money, without being gone all the time. He began to accept that this was simply how the cycle worked, until he went off to high school. Fillydelphie had an academy program on the outside of the city, allowing ponies to spend the latter part of high school specializing in a field. When Grey learned he could start his own business, he knew that he was going to. He just didn't know WHAT business he would start. Grey continued to excel in High school, before moving onto prestigious Canterlot U. There, he learned more about business management, but more importantly, met Pesto. Pesto was just what Grey needed. She was a green pegasus, who had glasses like himself. She was the love of his, still is. They met and immediately hit it off, to the point that she forgot she was sitting near a rock star (while Grey was simply sitting with a friend, who happened to be a rock star). Pesto was Grey's first real fillyfriend, as nopony else even bothered to know him. Still, how things played out, he does not mind, as it simply brought him toward his beloved. Grey will openly admit to his flaws, they come with the territory of being smart. He can be arrogant at times, has fallen victim to hubris, and tends to generally annoy other ponies. He also is notoriously indecisive, which is why he hasn't proposed to Pesto. Not because he doesn't know if he should, but he needs to decide what business to start, and needs to start making money off of his business before he feels that he can provide for her. Until such a time, he keeps the ring he purchased a while back hidden away, with the slightest hope she finds it, and he won't have to wait. As he is still fairly young, Grey's parents still work. Resultantly, they cannot visit him. They are proud of him, but he does not see it, simply because what is shouting it out for them is an unnoticable sign to him. They are still living in Fillydelphia, and plan to retire in the next 15 years, having saved up a lot of money. They do not allow Grey to have any of it, unless deemed necessary, or set aside for certain occasions, like his wedding. They do this so he can succeed, and he understands this, and plans on doing the same for his children. For now, however, Grey is left waiting for the day he will marry his beloved. He loves to joke with his friends, but can be quite serious when needed. He currently spends his time split between Pesto and trying to figure out what to do with life, so that he may settle down with her. He is very well-spoken, which he is saving for when he needs a loan to start his business. Here he is now, on the cusp of the most important time in his life, just waiting to see where it will go... EDIT: Editted to have the edit by line so people wil see I have editted it to include what Imagination said to add so that hopefully somepony will recognize that this is ready.
  12. ((OOC, sorry, I did not see this. But alas, I cannot allow an RP by such a well spoken player to be left to die in such a manner, so here you have a faithful player.))
  13. Meanwhile, in Ponyville, an intelligent earth pony looked over his plans. He just couldn't get it. Why? Why did one of these mechanical ponies work in that manner. One of them was intelligent, he trained it, taught it. It was sentient. The others wouldn't even turn on. He hadn't yet gotten the chance to see if that pony knew why it worked, when it flew off. While it flew up, it was hit by something dropped by a seemingly cross eyed pegasus. He knew his creation would be damaged from it. He had to make another, to find his first.
  14. Because rocks are heavy, and even carrying all that paper is too much, hence e-readers. Although, it is noteworthy that some books are made of rocks, almost all of them are sheet music, but it is still made of rock (Bad pun is bad).
  15. To entertain and amuse the masses. As well as to float.
  16. I was using my phone, I hadn't quite finished for the night, so I had a chance to answer one last question.
  17. I figured everypony would be spread out over time zones, so I said the time my alarm went off, followed by the length of time, give or take a minute, until my alarm would go off, to clarify for everypony how long it would he before I would be able to reply.
  18. Yes, I just fear a backup of questions, so don't give me like 100 questions.
  19. You lose every item you have. Now, I know you didn't ask, but I ask off to bed. You may still ask, but I wont reply until 5:30 am. So, 6 hours 32 minutes. Approximately.
  20. Unfortunately, I'm not crazy enough to have "Sources" That know what version you have, and look up, I never claimed to know EVERY answer, so I cannot be faulted, or claimed a liar, if I do not have the capability to answer that.
  21. I apologize, but it would be impossible to answer that question. Different versions of the book would have different sizes, amount of pages, print, etc. making there be no standard for what word is first on the page. Even more so, on a Kindle, the user himself/herself could change the font size, and make it vary from day to day. So, in conclusion, Google cannot provide that answer, and would be unlikely to even if one finite answer DID exist, which one does not.
  22. I did not have the card on hand, I googled the term "Harry Potter TCG Bludgerbop" I used the second result, which was an eBay listing, with an image of the card, so I suppose in a sense I did use something other thatn google. I did that so I would not have to search each part of the question individually. I did not commit it to memory, but I do have a great memory, if I choose to memorize something. And I'm not creepy, just crazy. Not Twilight or Pinkie Pie crazy, more Applejack or Rainbow Dash crazy.
