    Grey Matter, after being broken from his trance, runs inside and rejoins the crowd. He is take aback by what has occurred, and is trying to figure everything out.

    Realizing Swash's swift exit, Grey looks to Snowy, then to Thyme, and finally to Cloud, in a state of seeming confusion. He looks back to Snowy and says, "Hrmm. Seems somepony is in a rush. Uh, he does know the keys are locked up in back, right? I think he is gonna find it rather difficult to get in without it."

    "Ah yes Snowy, you may give Swash a tour. But beware, because pirates preserved food in salt, so if that meal is truly authentic, you are gonna need a bucket of water to finish it."

    "Oh, hey Snowy! We've got somepony here who is looking to rent. While I give him the grand tour, would you mind getting the paperwork set? He is using room A114, we believe. Would that be alright, ro do you wish to actually see the room first, Swash?" "Ah, well, room A114 was designed by our best and brightest, naturally the decor of your room is of your own regard, and so far as cannons, only room A114 has reinforced walls strong enough that you would be allowed to fire such a thing. Animal policy is that dangerous animals be kept away from others, and so far as boats, you may decorate, but we currently have no route to the water, so they are not of much use." Grey prepares to lead Swash to the dining area for a meal, calling up Thyme to make sure that a meal is prepared for Swash.

    Sadly, Swash is unaware that, aside from staff, he is the first occupant of this building. "Ah, good afternoon Swash. I've been awaiting. I checked the registry, and I think we have found the perfect room for you. Room A114 was done up in classic pirate fashion. But first, Thyme has made an authentic pirate meal. Would you like some? It's on the house."

    "Well then, you all seem plenty set with your tasks. I'm gonna head back to the welcome area and await our renter." And with that, Grey heads down to the welcome area, to await Swash, as he said he was going to.

    Grey Matter walks in and politely attempts to get Cloud's attention "Hey. I wanted to let you both know that Runner has transferred to another project. And, uh, Cloud, have you done a run through of the rooms? Somepony named Swash is going to be here later, and he is obsessed with Pirates. Which room was done up in a pirate style? And great work Thyme. I knew I saw something in you, and by Celestia, these meals can fill me up just by the scent of them."

    Hey! The doctors have finally approved of putting my brain into a pony! I can fit in now! If only the scientists would agree to engineer the perfect pony body for me...

    EDIT: Thread is no longer in real time. The constraints are broken by the opposition against them, and as a result, as well as the logistics of it, real time is no longer a constraint on this thread. Whoever posts next decides the current time, based on what has happened, he or she may select whether the previously mentioned five hours had passed by establishing tome of day as Morning, Afternoon, or Evening.

    "Alright. You happy with the basement? As it stands, I can offer you room A107. It is big, right by an elevator for easy access, and has a walk-in closet you can use for the tools if you need. It wouldn't be a problem to get you set up there, if you want it."

    "I don't know yet. Something intellectual, I need to put my training to work, but I know not what in yet. I am looking for a way to make a lot of people happy with it though. For now, I'm living at a friend's house, drawing out plans for a business"

    "Well, kinda. She was in Fillydelphia, and how she was acting, I had to ask. She seemed so family oriented. I have always been rather foresighted, looking for a family, and businessminded. I figured that Ponyville would be the perfect place to move, to build my business, and to find the right mare for me. For now, I'm just meeting the mares in town."

    "Oh Pinkie! So energetic that one is. Actually, she is part of the reason I moved here..." His voice trailed off, as if in a flashback. However within moments he was back, letting out a chuckle at the memory of what had happened, and how he came to be here.

    Grey Matter was worried. He had just looked at the clock, and seen that nearly five hours had passed, and not a renter one had come by. Granted, he should not have expected any before noon, but he was still anxious. Had he come this far just to fail? He took a walk. He passed by Cloud, and asked for the status of the elevators. "Hey Cloud, you finish working on the elevator? I feel the renters will want to go up the easy way. Besides that, I trust we are in schedule for the opening, right? Building A should be set by tonight, giving time to find renters. Oh, and sorry for saying so much at once, but I hear from Runner that building B should be set for wiring by tomorrow."

    Grey knew that face. He decided that it was true, dancing with somepony you just met, outside, with no music, is a little odd. But, he figured there was a way to make it work. He began to talk, making the dancing seem more friendly and less romantic. "How did such a pony as yourself come to live in Ponyville?" He asked, figuring it was unlikely that she was raised here. He figured her parents were more the Canterlot type.

    OOC: It occurs to me that we are not all in the same time zone, however I hope we are all in the US, because that makes it a bit easier. Regardless, the time in this RP is set as the time on the clocks on the website. That would be US Central Time. And, to be fair, that is one hour removed from this time zone. I do not mind if your pony becomes nocturnal as a result, just keep that in mind when somepony mentions morning or tomorrow or whatever the case may be. Grey Matter awakens and walks downstairs to the lobby. Early, yes, but today was an important day. Renters were due to arrive today. He took the stairs because he was unaware that Cloud got the elevators running, and because he enjoys having that time to himself anyway. He knew Snowy wasn't yet awake, so he had to serve as receptionist as well if somepony were to arrive. He passed Thyme's room, noting that she had moved in all right. Just so, he was ready for renters. He wrote on the schedule everypony's jobs for the day. Grey Matter: meet with renters, get ponies signed up for a condo Runner: be on site to answer anyponies questions about the building and designs, if possible Snowy: keep potential renters busy while Grey meets up with others Cloud: Display the reliable maintenance staff, introduce self to ponies. (Remember Cloud, we want to be friendly with everypony. Wouldn't it be nice to know your maintenance pony on a first name basis?) Thyme: prepare meals, both for show and on order. Be set for many orders, of some of the more expensive meals. You will earn tips and pay today, as opposed to tips, pay, and percentage of what is sold. Pay will be raised for today. Percentages nixxed as meals will be comped, allowing ponies to get a very expensive meal, and be drawn to it when they do need to pay. Should increase percantages later, but if you disagree, let me know. I may be able to work something out.
