1. Edited, if there's anything else that could be improved on let me know.
2. except for the artwork it's ready. I'll have that done in hopefully the next few days. If you think I should set it to WiP until then that's fine.
3. Bridge raised an eyebrow, now he knew that she couldn’t have been serious, but it wouldn’t have been the first time he got ditched by a mare for one of his band-mates. He wasn’t really bothered by it even before he was used to it, though it was a sting to any stallions pride. “Hmmm… ‘fraid you’re early by about a couple decades, hope you don’t mind waiting a bit,” He said jokingly. He grab a bottle off a cart being pushed past them by a pony, “I’m sure we’ll find something to do in the mean time,” he said emphasizing the bottle.
4. The blue earth pony walked up to Penumbra to shake her hoof, “My names Kick-pedal, pleasure to meet ya’, and don’t mind my friend Rift,” he said gesturing to the orange Pegasus, “he makes up for having a small brain with a big mouth.” The Orange Pegasus began nodding as he spoke, “Yeah, that’s ri-, HEY!!!” he shouted suddenly realizing the insult, “…AHH WHATEVER!!! So yeah that’s my name base’s my game.” he stated with a large smile the blue pony only responding by rolling his eyes, “yyyeahh… and the red guy behind me’s Screech.” The unicorn nodded to Penumbra. “so now that you know us, you two go on to the green room and we’ll see ya there later. We’ve got something to go do real quick.” “We do?” “Yeah, we do. Remember?” “…OHHH!!! Ok” and with that the three left waving goodbye. “That was… odd.”
5. wow this very impressive Twilight Sparkle?
6. Bridge new this wasn’t going to end well, it never did. Any time he was around a mare, which was again something of a rarity, and his band members saw him they always managed to make a fool of him, scare the mare off, or embarrass him to the point where he couldn’t even speak with anyone. The fact that they always assumed that he was interested in them didn’t help either, with all eyes of the band on the two he stayed unnaturally still his brain trying to process what was going on and how to save himself from this. The orange Pegasus snickered as he spoke, “He-heh, that’s funny usually the stallions the one watching the mare’s fla-” the blue pony shoved his hoof over the Pegasus’ mouth to silence him. “It’s nice to meet Bridge’s… uh, security detail.” The red unicorn looked at Bridge with a half-smirk, “…Nice.” “A-alright, I guess we should go hang since we got a while till practice, good seeing you guys.” He tried to rush the conversation along to try and get away from the disaster waiting to happen.
7. Bridge was considering whether it was best to just run out of the backstage area now or wait to see if things don’t go as bad as he expects them. With Penumbra here he didn’t want to just run so he simply face-hoofed as he tried to answer her question. “No… it’s gonna get much worse.” As he said those words the rest of the band turned around the corner. “Are sure it was Bridge?” said a red unicorn. “Yeah, I mean he’s not really known for being good with mares. Maybe you just thought she was with him?” said a slight bulkier pony with a blue coat. “NO, I’M SURE SHE WAS WITH HIM. SEE I’LL SHOW YOU!!!” the orange Pegasus stated pointing his hoof to Bridge and Penumbra. “Uuuhhh… hey guys.” The band members all stood staring at Bridge with a surprised expression. “Well, now I’ve seen everything.” “TOLD YA! TOLD YA!” “…Wow…”
8. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Abbot Alembic. Sex: Male. Age: Young Stallion. Species: Earth pony. Coat colour: extremely light tan. Mane/Tail: silverfish white facial hair, no mane, tattoos on head. Eye colour: green. Cutie Mark: an alchemy retort. Physique: average height, somewhat athletic. Origin: Roam, Itaily Residence: Travels throughout Equestria but tends to stay in smaller towns or on the outskirts of larger ones. Occupation: Alchemist (Brew-master, Potion maker, Apothecary, ect.) Motivation: has a morale devotion to helping others and doing his best at whatever he does. Though he personally won’t admit it, he does most of his actions to try and make his uncle proud. Likes: being around nature, helping heal the sick, practicing alchemy. He likes social events as long as he can stay out of crowds, he enjoys meeting new ponies and sharing experiences. He enjoys exercise, mostly consisting of running. Dislikes: he has anxiety in large crowds, this is why he prefers to be more personal with friends. Whenever he reads a book he feels compelled to finish it; for some reason he feels uncomfortable with stopping in the middle of a book, he doesn’t like the idea of leaving a story half finished. He has an extreme dislike for Basil. Character Summary: History – He spent most of his childhood with his uncle at what would be considered the equivalent of a seminary school. Though he was considered the closest thing to a parent they weren’t the very close. His uncle was usually busy so he spent most of his time in the small library at the school. He stayed away from most of the other children due to his anxiety. There was a group of fillies that always tried to get him to spend time with them but after the first few times he did his uncle had a talk with him. He stopped spending much time with them except for a few occasions in class. Due to this he still is socially awkward around mares and avoids any type of romantic situation to avoid, what he believes would be absolute embarrassment. After getting his cutiemark he devoted the majority of his time to studying alchemy and helping his uncle run the school. He is self taught due to having no source of educator in his desired field but has still managed to excel in his studies. He left Itaily a few years after becoming old enough to live on his own and started a traveling apothecary. He left on a train after saying goodbye to his uncle and headed to Equestria to search for opportunity. He has been successfully living on his own ever since. Personality – He is at most times very reserved and will avoid large social situations. Regardless of this he keeps a very cheery disposition throughout his daily routines. When at work, making some potion for a customer or experimenting with volatile ingredients, he is very eccentric. Most hazards don’t even faze him in the “lab” and he tends to go off on wild tangent of conversation even if no one’s with him. He is a generally passive person avoiding arguments or other conflicts whenever possible and usually focuses on satisfying other before himself. Parents – He only spent a few years that he has no substantial memory of with his parents before living with his uncle. Though he has never met them in person he was told a little bit about his parents by his uncle. Cutie Mark Story – When Abbot was a young child he study regularly. In most cases, it was simply because he had nothing else to do. His uncle was too busy, he couldn’t sleep, and he definitely didn’t want to be around all those other fillies and colts. So he just sat in silence with a stack of books on any subject he found interesting, which was usually limited since the only books to choose from were various textbooks or dusty old tomes written in Itailin; a language he knew fluently if it wasn’t for the fact that it was the type of writing used at least a hundred years ago. So with that in mind, his free time was usually a boring drudgery of stale textbooks that he had probably read five times each. After a few hours of his eyes shifting between the complex phrases in his book and a view of foals playing outside he finally left the library with a sigh and tried to see his uncle. Making his way up the flight of stairs he eventually found his way to his uncle’s office. As usual he was nowhere to be found, his office was neatly organized so that everything was always in place. This made the small stack of books on his desk easily noticeable. Examining it closer, he found a note on it. ‘To my assistant: please make sure this finds its way to the library, the trash, or anywhere that it will find use.’ Abbot stared at the books for a long time. Well he did say anywhere it would be of use, and it would be helpful to his assistant. He grabbed the books and put them in his saddlebag, making his way to his room. After closing his door he set the books on his small desk and opened to the first page. He read the title on the inside, ‘Guide to herbal plants’, he had never seen a book like this; it consisted of many illustrations of plants and incredible facts about them. He found himself intrigued with the books, not even bothering to sleep that night as he read them happily. He found so many ways that he could use plants and even a guide to build a small brewing set for beginners. He spent most of his times in the gardens looking for plants that he saw in his book to take back to his room where he would make all sorts of concoctions. After noticing one of his class mates was sick he searched in his book for something to help the sick foal. After half a day of searching and brewing he eventually made the medicine he needed, within a few days the foal felt was healthy again. After that day he knew what he wanted to do he wanted to study herbology and help people wherever he went; this was proven thanks to his cutiemark. Dangers on the Road – Traveling alone can be dangerous, especially when the roads lead through uninhabited lands or dense forests. Though never one to seek violence as a solution; Abbot is prepared in the event that he is forced to fight. He has several items of his own design that he can use to defend himself. They’re pre-prepared vials that contain certain alchemical ingredients that when mixed, most commonly by breaking the vial, give a certain effect. 9. I had an Idea for an OC that would work well in this. After I get it approved you can definitely count me in!
10. Bridge looked to Penumbra trying to put on a smile, “no, nothing really… well, nothing I really have control over. You’ll see what I’m talking about soon enough anyway.” They were nearing the backstage entrance were a large stallion wearing blacked out sunglasses and a security vest stood. “Here we are.” He stated to Penumbra as they walked up to the security guard. “Hey, I’m with one of the bands,” he showed his VIP Card to the stallion. As he examined it his only response was to nod his head in the direction of Penumbra and say, “She with you?” Bridge nodded to the guard and he opened the door for them. “Alright, let’s g-” he was interrupted by a orange Pegasus wearing baseball cap. “HEY BRIIDGEE, YOU FINALLY DECIDED TO SHOW UP EARLY I….” he looked to Penumbra a smile growing on his face. “No way. HEY GUYYYSSS!!! GET OVER HERE YOUR NOT GONNA BELIEVE THIS!!!” with that he ran back to a room shouting for the others. “…. Ooohh boy.”
11. Bridged gave a small laugh at Penumbra’s yawn, “I guess a place to lay down wouldn’t hurt either.” It was rather cute, though he’d probably use less embarrassing words to describe it out loud. Hearing her mention his band mates snapped his mind back to his previous concerns, “he-heh, yeah. I’m sure my band mates will be rushing to get to know you.” he said with a nervous tone, “That’s gonna be real fun,” this last part he mumbled under his breath as he began to lead the way.
12. Bridge took out enough bits to pay the check along with the tip and gave them to the waiter. He looked to Penumbra, her first statement inaudible and a slight confusion to her blushing, he decided to shrug it off and continue. “If you’d like to go back stage I could do that pretty easily,” he stated with a bit of hesitation in his voice, “I have a while till practice starts so we’ll probably be hang in a green-room with other musicians.” The other musicians where fine, it was his band-members he was concerned about. The liked to poke fun at each other, especially when they knew they could embarrass the other easily; he could take a joke just as well as the others but they did tend to take it a bit too far. ‘Maybe they’ll just not notice it at all, or they’ll just decide not to take advantage of the situation, or maybe I’ll sprout wings and fly myself to the Cloudsdale concert.’
13. Bridge was glad that she was trying to help. Unfortunately, he was more frustrated with himself for acting like a nervous foal. “Thanks for trying to comfort me; I’m just having a really off day. Nothing about how I’m acting is normal for me, granted I don’t know much about talking to mares.” He gave a light sigh and looked up to Penumbra, “you’re very considerate; I’ll try to chill out and just have fun.” He stood up and walked to Penumbra his hat and guitar back on. “So what would you like to go do now?”
14. Bridge nodded lightly still blushing a bit, “Y-yeah, ok that’s probably for the best.” He felt calmer but still too uncomfortable to say anything else, he simply sat at the table playing with his hooves in silence. He looked down for the most part except for a few seconds of looking around or at Penumbra.
15. In normal circumstances Bridge could have easily gotten himself out of this situation, unfortunately something was off with him today. With this, it only added to the mental panic he was in from the frustration of having said the wrong thing and his loss for words to save him. At this point any notion of a clever answer had been erased from his brain; he would probably be lucky to get a complete sentence out. “U-uhhh… I-I-I was. Er… I just… Wow I’m thirsty. Could you excuse me?” he jerked up out of his chair and dashed over to a water fountain. He was hoping that his blushing; now apparent to him by his reflection in the water, wasn’t too noticeable. “Ok ok… just calm down,” he mumbled to himself, “… I’m in trouble.” he finished drinking and walked back to his seat. Not one idea had come to him, granted he hadn’t even attempted to do so. He looked back to Penumbra thinking as hard as he could to say anything but only choking on his words. If she hadn’t notice his blushing she certainly did now. “O-ok…” his voice slowly shrank in volume, not to the point where it was inaudible but noticeably quieter, “I guess I thought that you were meaning a different thing…” he looked down nervously.
16. Bridge gave a blank stare as an awkward silence arose, “… Well, I believe I’ve made a pretty good fool of myself with that.” This was Equestria after all, for most ponies that was probably the extent of their definition for a vice. “Like I said I’m up for most things so you could have meant anything really, I was just playin’ around.” He said a little uncomfortably as he rubbed the back of his head, “heh, guess I got a little carried away.”
17. Bridge nodded in agreement to her first statement, he was looking forward to seeing how she was at a party already. He gave a devious smile in response to the mare's question, “well I don’t take offense at all, especially since you could be implying a few things.” His voice took on a suggestive tone making sure he got the point across, “I’m actually a bit interested in the types of ‘vices’ you’re thinking of. And to answer your question there are a few I rather enjoy, as long as no pony gets hurt.” He gave an understanding look as he explained, “I thought the record label was crazy too when they told me but after a lot of practice with a spell it wasn’t too hard to plan for. The gear’s gonna be a bit tricky but they’ve got some pegasi delivery team taking care of it so it won’t be a problem.”
18. Bridge gave a smile. She seemed nice, somepony he could actually go to clubs with and have a good time; I should invite her to one of the parties if things go well. “Yeah, it’s exciting alright… well unless you’re not into loud music or partying I guess.” He gave a slight laugh at the end of his statement; he didn’t know that many ponies that didn’t like to party even occasionally. Bridge chuckled with Penumbra, “I don’t see anything wrong with that, we all need somepony to look up to.” He thought for a second remembering his tour schedule, “You were born in Cloudsdale? I’m playing a concert there in a month or two.” The waiter pony came back with their order, “thank you,” he said to the waiter who only nodded in response and left their food at the table and went back to servicing the other customers.
19. Bridge leaned back in his chair looking up as he spoke, “Well, I was born and raised in Hoofington, as of right now I don’t a have a permanent home. I’ve spent most of my off-time in hotels or out at a bar.” He paused, thinking for a little, “… I guess I’ll find somewhere I want to live eventually, as of now there isn’t anything that’s made me want to settle down.” He said shrugging his shoulders. He looked at Penumbra curiously, “So, is there anywhere you want to live or is Canterlot your dream place?”
20. I guess it’s always a little bit the same wherever you go Bridge mentally said to his self. He looked towards Penumbra as the waiter asked for their order, seeing Penumbra motioning for him to order first he thought for a while considering his choices. “Do you have any cheesy nachos?” he asked hopeful for a yes.
21. Bridge nodded, “Well, there was a lot of work between me and the other members. I just figure if something good happens and somepony or something is responsible it couldn’t hurt to thank ‘em, maybe they’ll keep helping ya.” He had learned from experience that hard work is what makes things happen; but if believing in luck gives people confidence, then all the better. He followed penumbra to the stall and sat down at one of the tables with Penumbra and waited for the waiter to arrive. “So you live in Canterlot? Heard it’s a real nice place. I’ve only been there once and it was on tour so it was pretty much playing then packing back up.” he put his hat on the back of his chair and let his hair fall down the rest of the way.
22. Bridge nodded as he maneuvered through ponies trying to stay with Penumbra. “Yeah, I was lucky enough to find a bunch of other good musicians and be noticed by the right ponies.” He side-stepped out of the way to avoid getting knocked over by a group of ponies going the opposite direction and ended up bumping into Penumbra lightly, “sorry about that, it is pretty crowded.” He looked around for somewhere with less of a crowd. Eventually his eyes fell on a booth that had music playing along with a food vendor and a few tables. There were only a few ponies at it so he figured it would be an okay place to start. “Hey, why don’t we go sit over there and wait for the crowds to die down a little while we get a bite to eat?” he said motioning to the booth with his head. He had also just realized that he hadn’t eaten anything at all today, thus confirm by a slight growl from his stomach.
23. Bridge gave a small chuckle, “I guess you’re right about that.” He remembered back to when the band’s drummer and bassist had an argument. They refused to talk to each other for days; what they were arguing about wasn’t even that big of a deal. He followed behind Penumbra eyes widening a bit at the number of booths. He rarely saw these areas of concerts so he never got used to it when they were really big. “Yeah, our record label wanted to get us a bit more attention since we’ll touring in Canterlot in a couple months.” He smiled as a thought popped into his head, “maybe I’ll see you there and we could hang out at the party they’ll be throwing.”
24. Bridge felt pretty stupid, “sorry. I don’t spend a lot of time around mares, and the ones I do tend to all act like divas.” Penumbra wasn’t some mare he met at a club who thinks she’s all that, she’s a Weather pony; and in this case a security guard. “I guess I thought you’d take what your boss said a little too harsh. I really need to find other places to hang out at besides bars and clubs.” He smiled at Penumbra, “well I usually don’t get to see the places I perform at except for the stage so I guess we could go look around at all the booths and vendors for a while, if you’d like.”
25. Bridge breathed out a heavy sigh. “Alright, alright, I’ll tell you.” He took a quick breath and began took speak. He told the entirety of the conversation word for word; or at least as close as he remember, leaving out no parts. After he finished repeating the conversation he looked to Penumbra hoping for the best reaction but prepared for something as bad as getting smacked and having her storm off. Granted, he didn’t expect something like that from Penumbra but you never knew how ponies would react.
