1. The character redesign looked so wonky on this game. Desmond went from looking like Adam Sandler to looking like the offspring of Adam Sandler and a monkey. There were multiple glitches to take into account, which really ruined the experience for me. One of which was when Connor froze and couldn't move, even though everything else was moving around him. Other glitches consisted of trying to shoot explosive barrels during a chase scene, where the shoot button just didn't work. It's not a game I'm inclined to return to, unless I feel like utilizing the combat system (which is pretty fun). As far as story goes...eh...the fire is slowly starting to die out for that. Hopefully the next one coming out this year will pick things up (most likely not).
2. With gunfire it makes sense that no one is around. If you look at how many buildings and how vast the city is, however, it should really be busier than it is during just normal "walking around" times. I can't imagine how certain moments wouldn't have had a bigger turnout, unless they just needlessly built homes for more people than they have.
3. I feel like one of the few people who would say FarFromSubtle with their show Video Games AWESOME! XD
4. I've made it only so far into the game, and I agree that it is definitely a marvel as far as story and style goes. One of my qualms with it would be graphics. I understand that the xbox is limited (such as certain texts being horribly blurred), but even with maxed out settings on the PC it still feels like the it was being held back. Perhaps it's because this was made more for consoles than PC. Another little thing; despite this supposed to take place in a bustling city in the sky, there weren't all that many people in one place. The streets felt kinda barren. Other than that it is still a beautiful game with a great story. I look forward to seeing what happens next :3
5. At the office I work at, we installed one of our laptops with Windows 8. We then played a game where we timed how long it took someone to find notepad. A few people participated and I think the longest time was about ten minutes. I agree that it's good for touchscreens and not as an OS for anything else. It's good that they have a desktop option, but the lack of an actual "start" menu just makes things frustrating. Just going to shut down the laptop using Windows 8 is needlessly complicated. If I hadn't looked it up then it would have taken me quite a while to figure that out. It's flashy but not efficient.
6. Thread Rules Make sure your character fits in the canonical MLP universe, or is at least close to something that would be seen in the show. As stated in the Title, please PM me before joining Please wait your turn when responding. Have fun :3 This RP takes place in an elaborate maze constructed by Queen Chrysalis herself. In order to make this thread work, I had to take the liberty putting any character who is a participating in a similar scenario. It shouldn't be something that forces any out of character behavior, though, so feel free to just react as you think your character would react given their situation. Meeting up with other ponies is not only optional, but encouraged. I'm hoping this could be a possible bonding experience as the ponies go through the twists and turns that Chrysalis has planned. Hope this turns out well! Once again the queen stood, gazing outward to the sea of blue orbs that stared back to her. They all expected something, a speech, a command, anything to guide them through action and motivation. Despite being a creature of change, Chrysalis was quite predictable to her own species. She stood tall on her balcony overlooking the vast amount of changelings that inhabited her kingdom. With her chest out and her head high she delivered a speech that could move mountains. "Subjects, today we shall begin our revenge on Equestria! Ponies may have stopped our plans before, but each time we have gotten closer and closer to our goal. This time we will gain what is owed to us. Their land and their castles will become our homes, their streets will be riddled with swarms of our species. All of ponykind will be drained of their love, and we will rise above all as the most powerful species in the world!" The queen's wings fluttered with adrenaline and she hovered above her balcony. "We will prove to them that they are not as powerful as they think they are, that their bonds can form and break as easily as any other. We will prove that without their precious Elements of Harmony, ponies are nothing but prey for us changelings to feed off of!" After finishing her speech the mass of changelings livened with the sounds of chirps and buzzing. They appeared to be as excited as she was about what they were going to do. Chrysalis' eyes scanned the crowd with a fanged smile. Even after all this time, and all her failures, she still had the charisma to rally her kingdom. It was something that she knew she could be proud of. "With our labyrinth, we shall show these ponies what it is that we are truly capable of!" The queen let out a soft chuckle, "now let's not keep our beloved guests waiting." ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Labyrinth is the newly conquered territory that changelings re-purposed for their own evil doings. It is a mess of stairs, some leading to doors, others to hallways, some even leading to more stairs. Their destinations, though at first random, can be learned if explored enough. However, even one who has seen quite a few oddities may be surprised to see that some of the staircases are hanging from the ceiling, and are just as easily traversable. Various doors lead to various locations. Some may be filled with dangers, others may lead to what your heart desires most. Which ones are which could be any one's guess. The unfortunate souls chosen for this maze are merely average citizens of Equestria. Ponies of any species were abducted at random to be put through this little experiment, not only because some may become a source of love for them to drain, but just for the entertainment of ponies bonding or possibly even arguing. Ever since putting Twilight and her friends through their tensions, Chrysalis found herself yearning to recreate that magic.. "Wake up, my pretties," the queen said in a whisper, her voice echoing throughout the labyrinth to her unconscious victims. "It's time to play a little game." She cleared her throat and spoke up a little more, "allow me to introduce myself. I am the great and powerful ruler of the changeling race...but many of you may know me as the one and only Queen Chrysalis. I formally welcome you to my humble abode; it is truly an honor to have such prestigious creatures walking through my castle. Nopony has set hoof in here since the Elements of Harmony themselves, so excuse the dust and cobwebs." The malicious creature was smiling wider than she had in a while. "Now, I know that many of you may be wondering why I have brought you here. The truth is, you were lucky enough to be chosen to participate in an activity that I have been planning for quite some time. You will find your way, either alone or with friends that you meet, through the various stairs and hallways I have put in place just for you. The doors you find may be worth looking through...for one of them will lead to your freedom. The first pony that finds said door will be allowed to go free. If you fail to escape, or simply give up, then you need not fret. I will send some of my guards to personally see you out of my labyrinth." Chrysalis laughed, then drew in a breath, "oh how like me to ramble while you ponies have choices to make. Don't let me keep you from beginning your search. Remember, I will be watching."
7. Roleplay Type: Crossover Sex: Female Age: You ponies know better than to ask that sort of question to a queen. Species: Changeling of course. I am not just a 'Creature' as the prefix says. Eye colour: A beautiful emerald green Coat: If you couldn’t tell at first glance, my coat is a smoky black. I may not possess much fur, as you ponies do, but my skin is much thicker. Personally, I find it better to have thick skin than soft fur. On my neck you will notice precisely two dots of discolouration. They are merely beauty marks, and should cause no concern, but feel free to admire them. What you should truly be worried about, however, are my fangs. My top fangs protrude from my mouth when it is closed, permanently letting other species know that I am a threat they should fear. Should I speak or hiss at you, my bottom fangs will show themselves. They aren’t as large, but still something one should keep their eye on. Moving past my stunning yet threatening appearance, you will see my royal crown. I am nothing if not for my title, so therefore I keep it on me at all times. Some even believe that it is an actual part of my body, but I assure you, it is not. The oh-so-popular Twilight Sparkle made sure that rumor was disbanded. My wish is to someday do the same to her and her little crown…I’d also like to drain her pink friend in particular. After being trapped in my own castle with her annoying voice infinitely singing a song, I want to make sure I never hear so much as a squeak out of her again. Anyway, let us go back to my appearance. Since I know I would not get away without explaining this particular trait, especially knowing how terrified you ponies are of things you do not understand, my legs are dotted with various holes. You know…on second thought, I think will leave their purpose vague. I do love scaring ponies with things they do not understand. Perhaps a myth will arise that they summon your worst nightmares. Mane/Tail: My mane and tail are both their natural teal. Just as any female would, I make sure to brush them every day, keeping my long hair straight. Simply straightening my hair is all I really have time for, what with how busy I am commanding my kingdom and forming diabolical plots. Perhaps my style may not be up to the standards of you ponies who know nothing but luxury, but it is at least kempt. One may notice that my tail, much like my legs, also has various holes in it. Again, their purpose is something only to be known by me and my species. For the time being, I will simply tell you that I have also let it grow out just as my mane. Physique:According to pony standards I am considerably thin. Some would venture to say that I look as though I am hollow and lacking of bone structure. As previously stated, my skin is thick and hard, unlike that of the average Equestrian. I am indeed slender, but the outer shell on my back that wraps around my stomach helps me bulk up just a little more, along with providing an added layer of protection in case I should find myself in need of it…for example, if I were hurdling through the air uncontrollably. My thin, hole-ridden wings don’t do much in favour of showing off my endurance, but I find it is best that others would underestimate me. I AM a changeling, so it is my job to fool others. Residence: Changeling Kingdom. Occupation: Queen of the Changelings Cutie Mark: I do not need a picture on my flank to tell me I am talented at leading my species. History: As I was defeated by Shining Armor and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, I was cast off into the horizon. I landed in a strange place full of strange creatures who seemed to be very, very willing to give up their love. Though hesitant at first, my changelings and I soon fed upon those trusting little rabbit…cat…things and claimed their kingdom as our own. Afterwards, their home was, let’s say, ‘redesigned’ to suit our needs in a matter of months. Now we have a lovely castle that is sure enough to puzzle the average pony. Anything before my recent conquest is irrelevant. I am the changeling queen, and my purpose is to find more love for my species so that we may advance to be the most powerful beings on this world! Character Summary: When Equestria falls to my swarm of changelings, it is I, Queen Chrysalis, who will stand upon the highest tower of the castle in Canterlot and gaze upon the destruction below. I will laugh as my changelings spread like a plague, conquering every house and home of the former Equestrians, all the while draining them void of love and emotion. Standing by my side would be sweet little Twilight Sparkle, watching her land fall to my species. However, she will not shed a tear. She will have become obedient after I drained her of her love for both family and friends. After watching the fall of Equestria she will teach me all that she knows of how to use her magic, and then I will end her services by draining her magic myself, thus making me the most powerful being this world has ever known. My species will begin our rein by using our new found power to seize more territories; The Crystal Empire, The Land of the Griffons, The…donkey…kingdom? The point is we will conquer and feed until we take our rightful place as a dominant species! Until then, I will spend my days plotting and planning how to get back at the Equestrians who wronged me…especially that little Twilight Sparkle. I will continue to trick and feed off of any ponies who are foolish enough to fall for my little traps, which I assume will be many. Ponies are gullible and pathetic, a species that was MEANT for mine to hunt as prey. Twilight and her friends may have defeated me before, but that doesn’t change her fate. The more I fail the more I learn of her weaknesses. We will see who has the last laugh when my next scheme is put into action. Hmhmhehoohoooh!
8. Bull Dozer trotted toward the Pumpkin Punch Bar, then paused a moment to check and make sure that his costume was on right. He didn’t want to go in there looking like an utter foal! The brown stallion checked his neck and made sure that the bolts were securely stuck onto either side. Bull Dozer also checked to make sure the hat he was wearing (which made him look like he had a flat-top with black hair) completely hid his long blonde mane. Once everything was up to his standard, Bull Dozer proceeded toward the gazebo. Before he entered it, however, he noticed a mare standing just outside of it, He squinted as he looked at her, not quite recognizing his mate. Finally, his eyes brightened up a little and he trotted over to her. He gave her a small smirk, “um…hey there Shanna-” Bull Dozer paused and cleared his throat, “…I mean…Ms. Flankenstein.”
9. Big Time was staring into space as the bragging unicorn continued to talk about herself. He tried, but he couldn’t get his mind off of the fight between him and Bull Dozer finally being over. It felt like he was hanging by a rope, and Destiny Star’s words were the saw that were about to cut it. The talent agent didn’t know how much more he could take. Big Time’s head was swimming with so many thoughts at once. Without his sunglasses on, it was more noticeable. Finally, the blue stallion snapped, “SHUT UP!” he shouted involuntarily. Big Time looked at the unicorn mare, surprised at himself for blurting out something so unprofessional. It wasn’t like him to do that...but then again, he wasn’t quite feeling like himself at the moment. After a moment of silence, he stood, walked to the exit, and stepped outside for some air. Also, after exploding like that, he felt like hiding away from any attention he may have drawn. Bull Dozer smiled shyly at Shanna, “thank you, Ms. Skybright...but you’re a much better dancer than I am.” The earth-pony kept doing his somewhat stiff moves. His tempo was off, mostly because he couldn’t truly feel the music. Still he kept watching Shanna as she danced. His eyes lit up at the way she was able to sway with the music, it was a sight that made his heart race a little. Bull Dozer blushed a little bit, then returned his gaze to her eyes. Suddenly, his ears perked as he heard Big Time shout at the unicorn mare he was hanging out with. The brown stallion looked over at the two, then saw his ex-enemy storm out of the building. Bull Dozer smiled a little bit then looked at Shanna. “Wow...you weren’t kiddin’, Ms. Skybright...he sure seems upset right now.”
10. ((OOC: Eeyup )) The doubt that was in Bull Dozer’s mind was washed away instantly as Shanna hugged him tighter than he’d felt her hug him before. He could feel the tears streaming down her cheeks and against his coat as she hugged him. He hugged her back gently with both hooves. When she kissed him, he closed his eyes and fell into it without any hesitation whatsoever. The kiss went longer than he had expected, but with his lips pressed against hers, time flew by. Once Shanna pulled back, Bull Dozer slowly opened his eyes. Seeing her staring at him with her stunning eyes in the moonlight made him breathe out a small sigh of happiness. He couldn’t believe that the same mare he met in line at a party, was also the mare he was destined to be with. She was smart, adventurous, and not to mention talented. Bull Dozer may not have had much intelligence, but he knew he would follow this mare wherever she went, so long as she would have him. When Shanna spoke about the old mares tale, Bull Dozer smirked at her. He saw her crying, and just couldn’t help but nuzzle her encouragingly. “...I s’pose it just felt like the right thing to do, Shanna...” When Shanna reached into her pouch, Bull Dozer curiously looked to see what she was trying to get. After seeing what was hidden away in her underwing pouch, the stallion went wide eyed and gasped. He then proceeded to go into a coughing fit as some saliva went down the wrong pipe. When he finally got a break from the coughing, he looked at her, “sorry...that just caught me by surprise a little...” he coughed a few more times, then looked at the mare again, “...but...uh...y-yeah...I’m ready when you are, Shanna...” Though it seemed to be a normal cloudy night from below, above the clouds was a much more romantic and intimate scene...it was a beautiful night, and the romance between two ponies was unstoppable. Truly, this would go down as the best night that either of them have ever experienced...
11. Bull Dozer grunted a little as the cart bumped to a stop. He heard Shanna say they were now at their destination...and his heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest. The moment was now closer than ever. Soon, he would finally say what he needed to say. The large stallion nodded to Shanna after she instructed him not to leave the cart. He figured that falling to his death would probably be one of the worst things to do during a date. Bull Dozer unbuckled himself from the cart, then sat back as set up the parking break and undid herself from the harness. When she passed the blanket to him over the side of the cart, he instantly grabbed it in his mouth and spread it out for them to sit or lay on. When the pegasus hovered to get into the cart, Bull Dozer watched her and saw how beautiful she looked while flying at night. The moon made her pelt look like it was glowing, and as she landed in front of him, he saw just how well the stars complimented her blue eyes. "So, what do you think of Luna's stars up here? This is my world on every night possible." Bull Dozer looked up at the night sky. Everything was so clear...much clearer than when it was on the ground. Though, he didn’t look at the beautiful white dots on the night’s canvas for long. His eyes returned to his date. With a small smirk he said, “it’s beautiful...” he chuckled and nuzzled her. Suddenly, his expression changed into one of nervousness. “You know, Shanna...um...remember when you talked about how I make you try new things?” Bull Dozer paused before he continued, “...well I’ve never ridden a roller coaster before...or ridden in a cart like this one...or given a mare a tour of Fillydelphia on my back...” Bull Dozer cleared his throat and averted his eyes. “I guess what I’m tryin’ to say is...you make me try new things too...and...” The stallion struggled a little bit, “...I love that about you...” Bull Dozer looked Shanna straight in the eyes. He had to do this, and he had to do it with courage and confidence. “Shanna...I love you....I love you more than I’ve loved anything...like buckin’ things or food...” The stallion didn’t stop there, “...I mean, I like those things...but if I had to choose between them and you, I’d always choose you.” Now, Bull Dozer sat and waited. He felt like staring directly into her eyes at that moment was going to burn him alive, so he looked down a little bit. The stallions cheeks were a slight shade of red. It felt good to get that off his chest...he just hoped that he hadn’t made himself look like a fool in front of his date.
12. Bull Dozer thought about rebutting Shanna’a argument against keeping the helmet, but he knew that if he did that, he might upset her. That was one thing the earth-pony learned from his father; if you find yourself stuck in a hole, the best thing to do is to stop digging. Once they started to go above the clouds, Bull Dozer couldn’t help but look down at the city below with his curious eyes. Everything looked so small from way up here. The city had always been big, the buildings always towered over him, he never noticed how tiny they could look from this perspective. Bull Dozer took note that a pegasus has the luxury of enjoying the sight whenever they wanted. Just another reason wings seemed like a nifty thing to have... After gawking at the sight below, Bull Dozer looked at the sight above. The stars. Though they hadn’t broken through the clouds yet, the brown stallion wondered what they might look like once they got there. They were on the outskirts of town already...now they just needed to get high enough to be completely hidden away. Just hearing Shanna talk about how beautiful the stars were away from the city made him anticipate the scene. Though it was hard for him to truly appreciate the stars, he was more excited at the thought of how pretty Shanna would look beneath them... Bull Dozer’s thoughts refocused onto the mare pulling the cart...he wanted so badly to tell her. He wanted to share his feelings with her. However, even if they both knew how the other felt, Bull Dozer didn’t want to say it until the time was right. With the inspiration of Shanna’s stars, and beneath the light of Luna’s moon, the stallion hoped that when he said those three magic words...that they would do nothing less than take her breath away...
13. Bull Dozer was thrilled that Shanna enjoyed the gift. When she wrapped her hooves around his thick neck, he returned the gesture by wrapping one strong hoof around her body. Though he couldn’t quite hug her completely because of her harness, it was still an amazing sensation. When Shanna began talking about an old mares tale being true, the hazel-eyed stallion didn’t quite understand. He pulled his head back a liitle bit, “an old mares tai-?” That was when the pegasus mare pressed her lips against his, plunging them into a firey kiss that physically warmed his body. Bull Dozer kissed back with the same passion that she showed him. Even when she pulled back from their interlocked muzzles, the stallion still had his lips pursed. It took him a few seconds to snap out of his trance, then blushed as he realized she had already separated from the kiss. He stared at her with a smile. After she offered to return the helmet to him for work, Bull dozer shook his head, “don’t worry about me, Shanna. I want you to keep it.” The burly earth-pony raised a hoof and lightly tapped it against his head. “Nothin’ is gonna take down a hard headed stallion like me.” Bull Dozer winked at his date, then leaned in and gave her a small peck on the lips. Then, like a young foal eager to open birthday presents, the stallion trotted back to the cart. He stepped inside and sat down. Remembering how Shanna buckled him in, he tried to do the same. Though it took him a minute, he was able to get himself secured and ready to go. “...I’m ready when you are...” the stallions eyes once again fell to the mares flanks, his smile growing a little, “...Shanna...”
14. "Don’t worry, I will,” Bull Dozer said with a smile. Things were already getting more intimate... Bull Dozer sat back as Shanna buckled him into the cart. As she did that, he couldn’t help but notice her hooves trebling. He tried to realize why...then it hit him. The brown stallion bushed as he noticed how close her hooves were to his...anatomy. Bull Dozer looked away, trying to hide that he noticed. Before they even left the ground, Bull Dozer’s gaze fell onto Shanna’s rump. Since she had gotten in her harness, the brown stallion couldn’t take his eyes off of her...his thoughts began to swim with imaginary scenarios of what the experience would be like. Mental images of their love flashed in his mind, which made him feel like his body was heating up. With his eyes trained on the mares rear, Bull Dozer didn’t even notice them taking off. It wasn’t until they landed and Shanna spoke that he snapped out of his trance. “What...?” He looked around at the construction site. “...oh yeah, the...uh...the thing.” Bull Dozer unbuckled himself from the cart, then exited. He proceeded to trot over to the construction site. The earth-pony was gone for just a few minutes as he went into the shed where the lockers and cubbies were. When he reemerged from the shed, he walked out of the construction site holding his construction helmet in his mouth. Bull Dozer approached Shanna, placed the helmet in his hoof, then held it over to her. Though he felt a little shy, he stared the directly into his date’s eyes. “I wanted to give this to you...um...it’s my helmet that my dad gave me...” Bull Dozer blushed, “...I figured since I have your feather from the dance, I outta give you somethin’ of mine.” The stallion chuckled, "funny enough, this is the only thing that I own that has personal value...besides your feather"
15. Bull Dozer watched as Shanna hitched up and flew down toward him. The way she looked, and how she handled the cart as though the method of attaching it was constantly rehearsed, impressed the stallion. As Shanna landed and strutted in front of Bull Dozer, he trotted over to her and saw everything up close. He inspected her harness and saw how it attached to her body...her toned...slender...beautiful body. Bull Dozer shook his head and regained control of his distracted eyes. “Uh...y-you look absolutely lovely, Shanna!” He smiled nervously. When Shanna explained about the storage spaces, Bull Dozer walked over to the cart. It was relatively easy to operate, and once he had gotten all the food inside, he latched it up tight. After the food was secure, Bull Dozer put Shanna’s stuffed Ursa in the cart, then sat down himself. “Alright, Shanna...now, how do I buckle in?” The brown earth-pony started fiddling around with the buckle, trying to figure out how it worked.
16. “Singin’ for your supper...?” Bull Dozer tilted his head, “never heard of that before...sounds kinda...” The brown stallion almost flat out said his opinion of the action, which probably wouldn’t have been appreciated much by Shanna. He chose his words carefully, “...interestin’.” Once they approached the university, Bull Dozer looked up at the gigantic unicorn statue. Having not visited the university before, it was actually quite a site to behold. He began to wonder if his dad had helped build it in the past...he also wondered if there would be a time where he got to buck it down in the future. Bull Dozer’s train of thought once again got interrupted as Shanna took off skyward, and couldn’t help but blush and smile when she flicked her tail to taunt him. He dropped into a sitting position as he waited for Shanna to return with the cart, his eyes focused on the top of the building she flew up to. The world could have been ending all around him and the determined stallion wouldn’t have stopped waiting for his date. He contemplated how things would go once they got above the clouds, how he would finally have the courage to say how he truly felt about the beautiful pegasus...
17. ((OOC: Me neither D: did they find out what the problem was?)) Bull Dozer trotted next to Shanna as they proceeded out of the carnival and set course to the university. Even though he had been around it a few times, the brown stallion never quite remembered where the university was. Then again, it wasn’t a destination he thought necessary to remember considering his line of work When Shanna asked him to point out any more landmarks along the way, Bull Dozer nodded. Though there wasn’t much to really point out, the earth-pony tried to find at least something that would be considered interesting. Unfortunately, not many points of interest existed between the carnival and the university, so instead, Bull Dozer struck up some more conversation. Even though he had already made it clear through his expression, the hazel-eyed stallion felt compelled to compliment the mare, “your voice is beautiful, Shanna...you ever think about doin’ that for a living?” Though his flattery was sincere, it may have been hard for some ponies to take a stallion seriously with a plate of Chili Cheese Hayfries on his head.
18. ((OOC: hm...I'm having trouble using the forum on my desktop D:)) As Bull Dozer checked to make sure everything on his back wasn’t going to fall off, he perked his ears at the sound of Shanna’s humming. He looked at her with a loving expression, she sure had a beautiful voice. When Bull Dozer heard about the small storage space beneath the cart, the earth-pony’s eyes lit up. Spending time above the clouds with Shanna...watching the stars while possibly enjoying a tasty snack. Things couldn’t have been better! Had the stallion not been carrying all their food and Shanna’s plushy, he would have offered to carry his date to the university. Since there wasn’t much room left on his back, he took comfort in knowing it wasn’t a long walk. Plus, he knew that him giving her a ride was more for fun than anything else. “Alright, Shanna, I’m ready to go when you are...” he paused, “...and I s’pose if you wanted to wait until after we...uh...go see the stars together, we could stop by the construction site.” Bull Dozer smiled reassuringly.
19. "Let me help you with packing these up and we can go to see the stars." Bull Dozer hadn’t heard a more beautiful sentence. He looked into her eyes, and even though he wasn’t good at perceiving another ponies emotions, even he could read that she was sure. The stallion stared at his date, opening his mouth to ask if she was absolutely sure. The words got caught in his throat, however, when he decided to just trust in the signals she was giving him. Without much hesitation, Bull Dozer started to pack up the leftovers. He grabbed a few napkins from the napkin dispenser that was on the table so he could wrap some of the food in it. Bull Dozer stood up from his hay bale and started to pile the food back onto his body. He managed to put the Chilli Cheese hayfries on his head, while the rest of the leftovers he put on his back with ease. This was much better than trying to get the food to the table. The hazel-eyed stallion looked at Shanna once again, “you can put B.D. on my back too if you want. There’s definitely should be enough room.” Bull Dozer checked his back, and moved some plates around to clear some room for Shanna’s stuffed Ursa Minor. “We can also leave the leftovers at my locker while we look at the stars. That way we don’t have to worry about them...” the brown earth-pony looked to Shanna, “...unless you wanna take ‘em with us.”
20. As he was eating, Bull Dozer caught sight of the pegasus as she ate through her nachos. He wasn’t too surprised to find that even her eating looked beautiful. However, he blushed a little bit when she licked her lips after finishing the cheesy chips. The sight made his heart skip a beat, and he shyly refocused his eyes to his food, pretending not to have been watching her. When Shanna apologized, Bull Dozer smiled at her. “Not at all. My dad always told me I needed to eat slower...” he winked at the elegant mare, “...you make me want to...” The brown stallion gave her a half-lidded glare with his implication, his smirk appearing somewhat mischievous. Bull Dozer returned his attention to his food as he slowly continued to finish off the bucket of Tulips. When Shanna offered that they could take the rest to go, the hazel-eyed stallion thought for a moment, then nodded his head. “I think that might be best. We have a bit to finish off...but I s’pose it’ll still be tasty later on.” Though the amount of food would still be a lot to carry, it would be easier than what they had to carry earlier. Bull Dozer sighed and leaned back a little bit, patting his stomach. “Plus, I’d be lying if I said this carnival food doesn’t fill me up.” Bull Dozer looked to Shanna and smiled brightly. “So I guess this means we’ll have pizza, Chili Cheese Hayfries, a plate of fried lavenders, deep fried ice cream and two deep fried twinkies for leftove-” The large earth-pony caught himself. He realized he was talking as if they lived together. The mistake both humored him, and saddened him. With a small chuckle, Bull Dozer corrected himself, “...I mean, we can sort the leftovers when the date’s over, I guess.”
21. “Me neither. I haven’t even tried it yet and it looks delicious.” Bull Dozer shot a glance to the friend ice cream, now that Shanna gave it her approval, he looked forward to having some. Usually he would have the mane course and then dessert...but he was far too eager to taste it now. Bull Dozer returned his attention to Shanna as she told him about the food on his face. He jumped a little when he realized she was leaning in on him, their faces within inches of each other. The moment was even more surprising when Shanna gave him a long kiss to remove the crumbs around his mouth. His eyes were wide at first, but slowly closed as he kissed her back. Eating and kissing? This date was perfect! The brown stallion opened his eyes a little bit to look at Shanna, then pulled back slowly to separate their kiss. “...uh...th-thank you, Shanna...” Bull Dozer said with a smirk and a slight blush on his cheeks. “You sure know how to make me happy.” The burly stallion looked at the food...and even though he was still hungry, all his mind could think about was kissing Shanna. He started to think he should maybe save some of the food for later... Bull Dozer continued eating, except now he was eating a bit slower. He finished off the Hosta dogs, then delved into the caramel apples for his dessert. He drank some of his sarsaparilla to was down all the food he’d consumed so far, then proceeded to work on the bucket of Tulips.
22. After they had moved to the table, Bull Dozer wondered how in the world they would get all their food down. The question was answered as Shanna moved her plates down with relative ease, then started to take the plates off of Bull Dozer. After everything was set up and ready to be eaten, the brown stallion took the stuffed Ursa off of his back and placed it next to Shanna’s hay bale. “There, now you have an eating buddy,” Bull Dozer chuckled, “...besides me, of course.” The blond stallion turned his attention back to all the delicious food that was spread out before them. He smiled big and started to dig in. First, he went after the two deep fried grass sandwiches, which he managed to eat both in only four bites. The next victim was the Dafodil sub that he ate in about five bites. Once Bull Dozer was on a roll, very little could stop him. When he finished off the sub, the hungry earth-pony started working on the eight Hosta dogs. Those would take a little bit more than just a few bites to finish, but with the bottomless pit that was Bull Dozer’s stomach, their end was inevitable. Bull Dozer purposefully avoided his pizza. He wanted Shanna to get a chance to try it before he chowed down on it. The stallion swallowed, “mmm...this is some good food. Don’t you think, Shanna?” He looked over to her with a smile. Little crumbs and some of the condiments that were on his sub littered his muzzle. With both Shanna and his stomach taking up all his attention, though, he didn’t notice.
23. ((OOC: Oh that's totally fine )) “Sure thing Shanna,” Bull Dozer responded with enthusiasm. “I’d be glad to share any of my food with you.” The brown stallion was usually very stingy when it came to his food, but this was just another example of how he changed himself to win over Shanna...even though he already seemed to have won her over. Bull Dozer looked at the ponies who were working the booth. The expression on their faces was priceless when the large order was placed. He smiled and gave a brief laugh of amusement. The burly pony then followed Shanna over to the side as they waited for their food to arrive. After Shanna asked her question, Bull Dozer looked up in thought for a moment. He wondered whether or not he wanted to give her his gift before they went up above the clouds, or if he wanted to wait until later on. After pondering it for about a minute, Bull Dozer finally answered, “well...there is one stop that I gotta make,” said the earth-pony, “I accidentally left something at the construction site that I need to pick up. I hope you don’t mind, Shanna.” Though Bull Dozer wasn’t a very good liar, he excused what he just said as ‘stretching the truth.’ He really did leave something at the construction site, he just didn’t leave it there by accident. Bull Dozer wasn’t even sure if Shanna would like the gift that he had prepared for her, but he figured he’d found out soon enough. Until then, though, he could only guess what her reaction would be. That thought was soon interrupted as the ponies who were working the booth called out for the pair to come get their order. “Wow, that was fast,” said Bull Dozer excitedly as he trotted over to the counter. There was a lot of food to carry...a LOT of food to carry, and Bull Dozer made an attempt to carry it all to their table without making multiple trips. The brown stallion settled many of the paper-plates along his back, some of them even stacked on top of one another. On his back where the Chili Cheese Hayfries, the two deep fried grass sandwhiches, his Daffodil sub, eight hosta dogs and the pizza. He balanced the two plates of deep fried Lavenders on his head, and carried the bucket of Tulips in his mouth. In one hoof, Bull Dozer carried Shanna’s nachos and hayfries, but had run out of room on his body to carry things. From muzzle to rump, Bull Dozer was covered in plates. He looked to Shanna, but couldn’t really show much expression through the bucket he was holding with his mouth. “Can you get the resht?” They still had to carry the funnel cake, cherry limeade, three caramel apples, deep fried ice cream, two deep fried Twinkies and a bottle of Sarsaparilla. Bull Dozer figured that with Shanna’s wings she might be able to carry a bit more than he could, but he didn’t let that factor into his manners.
24. Bull Dozer looked over the menu. His ears tweaked a little when Shanna mentioned that they would be kissing a lot. The brown stallion couldn’t help but smile goofily and blush at the thought of their intimacy. Those thoughts were easily distracted, however, by the smell of carnival food. The blond-maned stallion looked through and began making a mental list. Not surprisingly, the list of things he didn’t want was much shorter than the list of things he did. Bull Dozer could feel his mouth begin to water at all the delicious food he would get. His stomach rumbled with anticipation. “Hmm...I’ll go with...” Bull Dozer contemplated. He took in a breath to prepare for his long list, “one order of chili cheese hayfries, two deep fried grass sandwhiches, one Dafodil sub, four hayburgers, a pizza with roses and daisy’s, five deep fried lavenders on a stick, three...no...eight Hosta dogs, and one bucket of tulips...” Bull Dozer inhaled, “...and for dessert...I was thinking about having some caramel apples with some deep fried ice cream and a couple of deep fried Twinkies.” Bull Dozer paused for a moment, then remembered “oh yeah, and to drink I’ll probably have some nice Sarsaparilla.” The brown stallion looked at Shanna, then chuckled a bit. “And for the apetizer...” he joked. Bull Dozer nuzzled the pegasus mare, “I'm kiddin' with you, Shanna. At least, I'm kiddin' about the apetizer.”
25. ((OOC: Commented ^^ awesome pic)) The spontaneous kiss and hug Bull Dozer received from Shanna made his heart race. He knew that he’d done good. Before he got lost in the moment, though, the pegasus answered his question in the affirmative. Without wasting a single moment, Bull Dozer grabbed the Ursa Minor and set it down on his back. When Shanna suggested they go to the food court, the brown stallion nodded his head in agreement. Her question about the food, though, got him to try and remember the food he had the last time he went. “Well...” he started, “...I guess they pretty much have anything you can think of deep fried...deep fried hay, deep fried grass...even deep fried ice cream, if my memory serves me right.” Bull Dozer looked to Shanna as if to ask whether any of that sounded good to her. He then started to walk, leading them toward the entrance of the carnival where the food court was.
