  1. Love and tolerance? Psh, that's for folks who don't have anything they absolutely hate! To the best of my knowledge, a thread like this hasn't been started so let's pour all our most hated things into this topic. It can be about whatever you want, but remember, to respect each-others opinions. We all have pent up hatred about SOMETHING, especially if you follow the code of "Love and Tolerance". Whether it's just annoying, or it's something you can't stand, feel free to post it here and get it off your chest. Now, without further ado. What do you hate?
  2. I so prepared for this I can't draw to save my life, so here's a pony-creator thingy! lmao
  3. Big Time watched as Pony Joe talked with Misty. He was glad to see he wasn’t the only pony that felt sympathetic towards the mare. Her response to the Pegasus stallion’s offer was unexpected. Usually, ponies would jump at the chance of fame and fortune. Somepony declining an offer that he made was a rarity, and it looked like Misty was one of the rare ones. When Pony Joe went back to his coffee machine to help the new costumer, the blue Pegasus took that moment to trot over next to the sad mare and place a comforting hoof on her shoulder. "You know, he’s right" said Big Time. "I'm sure that me, Pony Joe and everypony else here would just hate to see you leave with that look on your face. Heck! I bet everypony here would hate to see you leave!" Just then, Big Time looked up in thought for a moment. "...well...with the exception of that blue pony." The winged stallion then smiled warmly at Misty, "if you'd like to stay here and have some breakfast, I would gladly pay. However, if you still want to leave, I'd only ask for two favors." Big Time hid his muzzle beneath his wing once again, but this time pulled out a small card. He held up his hoof and dropped the card onto it, then held it in front of the yellow unicorn. "The first favor I would ask, would be that you at least take my card. That way, if you have second thoughts, you know how to contact me." With a sincere smile, he looked at her through his sunglasses. "And the second favor...would be that you at least smile, and leave here happy." Big Time knew that a client like her was hard to come by. He'd hate to lose her just because she didn't think she was good enough. Also, she seemed very misunderstood, so letting her leave without trying to cheer her up was out of the question. Although if she accepted his offer to buy her some more breakfast, his joy would be shown by the broad smile on his maw.
  4. Big Time looked at the upset unicorn in shock. He was going to open his mouth to defend himself against the accusation, but instantly stopped himself when he saw her horn lighting up. With a nervous laugh, the blue Pegasus stepped back a little. “Now, now…n-no need to get angry.†Big Time lowered his ears a little in fear, then looked over to Pony Joe. Then, the fearful stallion lifted his right wing and moved his muzzle beneath it where he kept a small bag filled with bits. He pulled out a few and placed them on Pony Joe’s counter. He then looked at the restaurant-owner and gave him a big flashy smile. “I’m sorry. You’re donut’s are very filling. I have thoroughly misjudged your restaurant’s pastries, and I am truly, deeply, sorry.†In Big Time’s mind, he didn’t feel he needed to apologize. However, Misty was a potential client, and clients had demands. Right now it was Big Time’s job to make sure Misty stayed happy. Plus, he didn’t earn any money by making enemies.
  5. ((Where is everypony )) "Wait...YOU'RE the daughter of Mighty Magic and Abracadabra?!" Big Time's eyes widened behind his sunglasses. Completely awestruck, the blue pegasus felt the excitement build in his gut. In his mind, he may have just stumbled upon a goldmine. "Y-you're practically a prodigy!" Big Time smiled ear to ear. This was perfect. He didn’t just stumble onto any powerful unicorn, but a powerful unicorn whose parents were already in show business. The stallion Pegasus could already see himself booking shows. Colts, fillies, stallions, and mares all lined up to buy tickets to a show. The thousands upon thousands of bits they were going to make. It was almost enough to make Big Time’s mouth water. "And don’t worry about your magic." The ecstatic stallion stood and offered his hoof to help her back on her hooves. “Come on, let’s go sit in a booth. We can iron out the details over a nice omelet!â€Â
  6. Alright, updated his summary hopefully that expands on his personality a bit more. For some reason, I was having a bit of trouble with his personality I wanted to make him a tough-guy, but not just an imitation of Big Macintosh XD Good idea! I used my mediocre photoshop skillz to put a construction hat on him XD
  7. Name: Bull Dozer Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Earth Pony Pelt Color: Dark Brown Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: blonde, as is his tail. Constantly wearing a cowboy hat. Eye Color: Hazel Cutie Mark: Wrecking Ball Physique: A little bit chubby, but strong enough to buck through a wall. Origin: Fillydelphia Roleplay Type: FiM/Show Roleplay Occupation: Destruction Worker Motivation: Bull Dozer has mastered the art of tearing things down. Likes: Breaking things, lunch breaks, things that test his physical strength Dislikes: Books, lectures, ponies that talk bad about his work Character Summary: Who needs a bulldozer when you have a stallion with a knack for breaking things? Bull Dozer snapped, broke, and bucked everything he could when he was a foal. Even during his elementary school days, he would always be the colt that came along and destroyed a sandcastle that other foals made during recess, and wasn’t one to care if the foals cried or not afterwards. Of course, with his constant breaking, Bull Dozer was one of the first in his class to receive his cutie mark. In the reckless earth-pony’s class, he and a partner made a bird house for one of their projects. Once they finished it, Bull Dozer showing remarkable restraint, the teacher gave them an A+. Before she could offer that it be put on display for the rest of the class, Bull Dozer was already stomping on the last remaining pieces of the bird house. After that moment, the image of a wrecking ball permanently rested on his flank. Bull Dozer’s father was a construction worker, and his mother worked as a waitress in a restaurant. With Bull Dozer constantly breaking his own toys, he drove his parents to wits end. They spent a lot of money on toys alone for the young colt. However, if they stopped buying toys for him, they were afraid he may soon tear apart the house. It came as a great relief to his parents when Bull Dozer was old enough to work on his own. His father set him up with a job in the construction industry, and they would occasionally work together. Since Bull Dozer only tore down buildings, his father decided to call him a Destruction Worker, since he never constructed anything. It was a nickname for his occupation that Bull Dozer took to heart. When anypony asked him about what he did for a living, he would say “Destruction Worker” like it was common knowledge that such a job existed. Breaking everything in sight is what Bull Dozer longs to do. Every building he passes, he can feel his haunches urging to buck through a wall. He restrains himself, though, since destroying somepony’s house or business was a quick way of making enemies. As a substitute for destruction, Bull Dozer tries to focus on food. Eating anything, from pizza to simple sandwiches, quells the achiness in his hooves. His constant eating adds to his chubbiness, but he makes sure to remain fit since his job requires it. Plus, what’s the fun in breaking something when you don’t have the horsepower to break it? Bull Dozer is the exact definition of bronze versus brains. He doesn’t care much for books, nor real education of any sort. This causes him to be a little ignorant at times in conversation. Although, if you get him talking about his work, his eyes will light up the same way they did when he first got his cutie-mark. Most of the time he likes to associate with his fellow construction workers, but he isn’t loyal to any one spot. Wherever there is food, Bull Dozer will most likely show up for lunch or a quick snack. When in public, however, he mostly keeps to himself unless somepony were to strike up a conversation. He does his best to mind his manners and speak politely to whomever he meets, but it isn’t uncommon for him to get lost in what somepony is saying…especially when it involves big words. Also, he wears a construction hat
  8. With the day moving toward noon, Big Time's stomach growled. He wanted to stop at a restaurant and grab a bite to eat, but he had one more errand to run before he could have lunch at one of Fillydelphia’s many fine restaurants. For days Big Time had been planning his first big party in Fillydelphia. Having not the slightest idea on how to throw a party, the blue Pegasus studied about the subject. Big Time gathered party supplies and hired a DJ, but at the moment, he needed assistance on one last thing. Flyers. Big Time knew a lot about flyers, considering he was a talent agent, but he had no clue about photography. This flyer needed to have some type of photo on it that attracted the eyes of ponies everywhere. Price wasn’t much of an issue, but he didn’t want to spend too much. Standing at the entrance to the photo shop, Big Time pushed his sunglasses up higher onto his muzzle before pushing through the door. The blue stallion kept wearing his smile as his eyes adjusted to the indoor lighting. Seeing the mare sitting with her magazine, Big Time approached the register. “Hello, ma’am†the pegasus said in a polite tone of voice. He tried not to startle her too bad, since she seemed so fixated on the magazine. "I was looking to get some flyers made, and I need some help with the photography."

    Hello

Welcome to the forums, Archer! can't wait to see you around in RP lol
  10. ((OOC: daftBLUE actually, I meant http://mirrors.rit.edu/instantCSI/)) "Not at all" Big Time said to her, his voice casual despite the incident earlier. "In fact, I guess you could say I'm impressed." The blue stallion sat down in front of her. "You seem to be having some trouble controlling your magic...but that may actually be a good thing." Big time smirked as she ate her doughnut. He leaned to the side a little to get a glimpse of her cutie-mark, and sure enough, it was a cloud with a question-mark. Big Time mumbled to himself, "...a special talent for unpredictable magic..." Finally the pegasus stallion stated his case. "Look, I'm going to make you an offer, and you can take it or leave it, but I want you to consider it. There are many young colts and fillies in Equestria that are made fun of for being different. What if I helped you become an idol for those who feel like their alone in the world." Big Time smiled at her reassuringly, "just imagine never having to be embarrassed of your special talent. Imagine being praised and idolized by young ones who feel like they have nowhere to go. Not only could you make a living off of utilizing your special talent, you would also become famous." Big Time stood, trotted over and sat next to Misty. He put his arm around her and swished his hoof in the air like he was painting an image for her. "Think about it. 'Misty Magic: The Unpredictable' or maybe 'Misty Magic: Equestria's Voice for the Different'." Even though Big Time felt like he was in his element, he stopped himself from getting too ecstatic. He knew that Misty was still a little shaken from what she'd done. "...I want you to just think about it for now. How about I buy you some more breakfast, a doughnut is hardly filling."
  11. There should be some classes out there. I learned from my high-school teacher, so there must be someplace they teach that Also, I've had one of these days XD
  12. ((OOC: It looks like Saddlesore... *puts on sunglasses* ...was a little crabby this morning. YYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!)) The whole time Misty's magic went haywire, Big Time's mouth was agape. At first, he wondered if she had turned him into those things on purpose, but after she kept apologizing, he understood that it was all an accident. This also made a light-bulb go off in his head. Big time's expression went from shock, to a small smile. He looked over to Misty and saw the terrified look on her face. The poor girl must've scared herself more than she scared the blue earth pony. The pegasus stallion looked over his sunglasses at her, and approached the corner she was cowering in. The worry, the embarrassment she wore on her face made Big Time feel sorry for her, but he didn't show it. That emotion was hidden well behind his sunglasses. Before he pursued his idea, he had to ask one simple question. A question that was obligatory after everything that happened. "Are you okay?" In retrospect, it would've been more sensible to pose that question at the stranger who walked in with an attitude. However, Big Time was more interested in Misty Magic, than somepony who just woke up on the wrong side of the haystack.
  13. "Very close," Big Time answered Pony Joe, "I guess you could say I'm more of an actor-maker. I'm a Talent Agent." The blue pegasus stifled another chuckle. The mare that sat next to Big Time caught him by surprise. He shifted in his seat so he was facing her. "Oh! Hi there!" He saw her toothy grin and gave one right back. "My name is Big Time, and to answer your question, no. I've been to Canterlot once before on a business trip with my dad. He gave me some bits and let me loose to go buy what I wanted, and I actually came to Pony Joes back then for lunch. I remember it was the first time I'd ever had a hamburger..." Big Time took a few long blinks behind his shades to stop himself from reminiscing. "Anyway, enough about me, tell me about yourself. Do you live here in Canterlot?"
  14. "Thank you, and I would like some green tea if you have any, Mister..." With a pause he lowered his shades a little and peered over them with his dark green eyes, "...Pony Joe, I presume?" Big Time pushed his shades up with a hoof and chuckled, "I've heard a lot about your business. Nothing but good reviews." The blue Pegasus leaned against the counter and looked around. "I gotta say, so far this place is living up to the hype."
  15. That was awesome! Thanks for sharing that. The first video she suggested just blew my mind O_O it was so well done! Me and Karen Kavett: Luuuuckyyyyy! she seems really nice.

  17. Big Time pushed his shades up on his muzzle. It was morning, and there was no better place to go to than Pony Joe’s for breakfast. Though it wasn’t a fancy cuisine restaurant, like the Pegasus stallion usually would be seen eating at, sometimes he just wanted a nice glass of hot tea. It was the perfect way to start the day. Also, since he was visiting Canterlot, he thought it may be good to spend some time in the restaurant he had only been to once before. Mornings were when Big Time felt his happiest. He’d almost always have gotten a good night’s sleep, so he was fully energized when he woke up. Before the stallion would step hoof out the door, he would gussy-up and wear his sunglasses as well as his best smile. Some of his friends would ask him how he stayed so happy all the time, especially in the mornings. Big Time would always beat around the bush, make claims that life is too short to be groggy. In reality, he would wake up to the thought of bits. He wouldn’t just picture bits, he’d think about how many bits he’s made in his life, how much he has now. It made him smile and put that extra pep in his step. Also, his job required him to be charismatic. A Talent Agent wasn’t going to get anywhere in the industry without a smile and a flattering compliment here and there. “Good morning Equestrians!†Big Time announced as he stepped through the doors of Pony Joe’s. As he expected, there were already quite a few customers inside, a few looking very sleepy. The stallion trotted up to the counter and sat at the seat next to the cream-colored mare. He waited patiently, letting Pony Joe take the other pony’s orders first.
  18. I LOVE typography, and this is like gasoline to that burning passion XD

  20. Gracias mi amigo! Mi amiga Oh yeah XD mi amiga
  21. I guess it was bound to happen eventually I thought it might be funny to here about peoples experiences with the wonderfully beautiful art of karaoke I'll start off with sharing a story of mine: I went to this place called Emerald Cove, it was by a river so naturally some people built a bar, two pools and two Jacuzzi's next to it. Every Saturday night they had karaoke night, and I had convinced one of my friends to go with me on stage and sing Summer Nights. I had some previous experience in karaoke, but this was her first time so she was mumbling like crazy XD After a little while into the song, she basically gave the mic to her younger sister and they swapped places on me. I wasn't paying attention at the time, and turned then jumped a little when I saw there was a little girl right next to me. Not too embarrassing of a moment...there was another one where I tried to shake my butt and embarrassed myself in front of everypony....but that's a story for another time ANYWHO! What funny karaoke moments have you all gone through?
  22. "Sunshine...Twinkle...." she mumbled slowly, her eyes unable to leave the royal alicorn. Sunshine couldn't believe it. The Princess! She was right there, rolling around in the grass and acting like...like a common pony? It was hard for the orange earth pony to digest. For a moment, Sunshine thought the condition she had been born with was casting some illusion over her vision. After a few seconds, the awestruck mare shook her head slightly and returned her attention to the stallion before her. "S-sorry...um...I'm Sunshine Twinkle. It's a pleasure to meet you, Czar." Sunshine felt embarrassed about becoming so distracted, but with royalty not that far from where she was standing, it was hard not to be. In an instant, she remembered her rule for social interactions. Sunshine blinked slowly, trying to reduce the chance of her abnormally sparkling eyes being noticed, even though at this distance it was inevitable. Her head lowered when she heard the princess call out. The anger in the moon princess' voice made Sunshine's stomach do flips. She turned to look at the princess, then back at Czar, "I think the princess knows we're here...and she doesn't sound too happy about it."
  23. That's so awesome! the last concert I went to was a Jimmy Buffet concert. That was such fun experience however, there was probably a mushroom cloud of weed-smoke above the audience
