I've seen this around, seems pretty cool. If it's not too late, I'd like to join with Dawn Sunrise. *checks on RP progress Hmm, too late for me to have my OC a foal again. Would it be ok if I join in later for some reason I haven't thought of yet and wind up helping Twi take care of the children?

Fox McCloud SilverWisp, reporting for duty with unicorn filly, Dawn Sunrise. Who shall attend story time and provide comedic relief! And Silver Wisp, young stallion Pegasus. He shall be rival to Daring Do, trying to nab the treasure before her and her crew, leaving them in the dust!

And this RP does need kid characters, after all. And the only little pony here for story time so far is my OC, Dawn. Oh, Derpyy! If we don't get enough kid characters before this hits off, would other people in this RP be able to play a child as well as an adventurer? This was actually what I was trying to say earlier. I think we need at least three or four kids, but I'll let call the shots on how you want it. And they're searching for a temple? So what, they just go out into the desert digging through miles of sand to find a temple? How about the temple is within a labyrinth? That way there's more things that could happen. The group could even be seperated and stuff like that. But I think the narrator (That means you Derpyy) should decide when this should happen and who winds up with who if they do get split. Like two ponies who hate each other now have to work together. And other things like that, such as giving characters cues to enter the story. Like: "But as Daring and her crew approached the temple, they were confronted by ---!!" I don't know, it was just a few ideas I had. It could either go really well or really bad. You decide. And I guess my idea for the labyrinth would be silly if the temple was a maze. Just throwing my 12 bits in the hat. EDIT Woah my gosh!! Any one else notice the Canterlot banner thingy has Daring Do on it!? I just thought that was totally cool the we're doing an RP with Daring also. It's just... Nevermind

Oh, Jane's the antagonist? So how is this going to be? Like an actual antagonist that tries to stop Daring Do from adventuring again or like a rival? Racing to the finish, first one to the treasure is the best adventurepony? Or shall we cross that bridge when we come to it? And for my character, I will be using my favorite foal, Dawn Sunrise. For one of the kids that interrupt the story. Would you like me to link her app or do you want to check out my totally all new CharacterLog!!! EDIT OR, if Jane's going to be a real antagonist, maybe I could be Daring and friends' rival!! I know this still sort of counts as antagonism but I thought it was a cool idea. Sabotage...Activating traps that I let Daring and friends deal with, stealing the treasure from right under their noses, failing to escape with the treasure, saved by protagonist as the temple starts to crumble, steal the treasure again, profit etc. Sort of joking, but it doesn't hurt to ask, does it?

All right, so I've changed the name to Shzaam and remarked this as [Ready].

It's been two days too many since the... [colour=#F62817]E[/colour]G[colour=#F62817]G[/colour]P[colour=#F62817]L[/colour]A[colour=#F62817]N[/colour]T has been mentioned... It seems as if this thread has finally died down... We are gathered here today to remember the aubergine and all the fun it has brought into our lives. And even though it may have had a short life, we shall remember it dearly. Anyone care to say a few words before the aubergine is gone for ever?

Flutterguy and Rainbow Rock? Silly Chrys! That's not how you spell Butterscotch or Rainbow Blitz! As for this RP, I'm considering it. I just need to decide which of my three OC's I shall use and who to play one's counter part. That is, if I don't RP both. This could be fun!

But what's wrong with "Poof"!? -one dictionary later- Oh...Oh!? Inconvenient irony? I actually had no idea about that, honest! But, I've gotten so attached to that nickname. And by you suggest, you mean I have to, don't I? Alright, I'll change his nick name or remove it entirely, I'll keep this marked as [Wip] until I reach a decision. Oh, and I have a question. For the the showpony caravan, I've yet to think of a name for it. If this app gets approved before then, and soon after I conjure up a title, would I have to have this placed back into this section for reevaluation or could I just edit in the name without any major problems?

I've finally posted. However, I'm displeased with my post. Days, or minutes, of creative thinking were poured into it, and it came out just...Just bad. Or at least it's bad to me.

It had been quite a bit of time since the filly last set hoof in Ponyville. And much like her previous visit, she was here for the delicious chocolate confections, sugary sweets, and things of the like found only at SugarCube Corner! The confectionary-styled building that resembled nothing so much as an large gingerbread house. Dawn eagerly bounded inside the store, immediately greeted by the line of ponies. Who, like the filly, each wanted to receive a bit of candy. The wait time could have been worse, though, had it not been for her managing to become involved in a few basic conversations. All of which led Dawn and some newfound friends to agree to meet up later. And that's excatly what she did. Upon reaching the front of the line, she hurriedly paid for a bag full of candies, dropped it in her saddle bag, and hightailed her way to the designated rendezvous point. A large smile plastered on her face, she trotted to the other ponies and griffons, bubbling with excitement. [colour=#F62817]"Hey everyone!!"[/colour]

I thought we were tourists! What happened to a certain form of government that I'm not entirely sure I should mention because it could possibly start a fight and I'd be blamed and get in trouble for starting it? But, "Want it. Need it. Buy it?" And in a battle against a timberwolf, I'm more than sure it's going to go it's way. I doubt we'll have the same luck Spike did when he "fought" one. Unless of course, we drop every worldly possession and run. FAST. If we're tourists: Why not just have each pony carry some cash on them? Travel by train? Do it the safe way? Adventureponies: Sure, everything mentioned before sounds cool, save for the timberwolves. The whole food thing sounds a bit much to me, however. It's kind of like a bridge we'll cross when we get to it situation. Just as long as we don't start planning potty breaks, I'll be ok with it, I guess. Just throwing my two bits in. Oh, and wouldn't anything involving something like timberwolves be in the FFA section? I'm not entirely sure that'd be ok in Mane RP. Also, I thought we we're traveling with a cartographer pony to accompany him in map making. Visiting major cities and stuff. How could we go hungry if we're in a city with food? And why would a tiberwolf be in one of those cities?

From when I first started? Yes, there has been much progress! From, say, a few days / weeks ago? No, not I really. I mean, I do occasionally go over this app and edit a few typos if I notice any and things of that nature, but other than that, no. As I believe my character is ready for SRP review and/or an approval stamp!! Overconfident in my character app? Why yes, I am very much so.

Wait, do we have to use two characters? :!: I was reading the first few posts in the RP and noticed with my keen sense of discovery, that both posters had used two Characters. I have a problem...Dawn doesn't have a foal sitter! What should I do? Use my only other Mane approved OC? I'd rather not. But, everything I mentioned before is irrelevant if I don't have to use two. I just really need an answer so I know how I'll be posting.

Oh, yes! The idea sounds great! I think that would be wonderful. There's the original group, and as they travel, they either recruit other ponies to join or make friends with ponies along the way. So that way, this shouldn't get out of hand. Or at least, I hope not. Should there be a posting order, just to be safe? Also, we can't really even start this without a few of us getting our characters approved. Can't RP with unapproved OC's. And who knows how long we'll have to wait!?

Oh, okay...Well hello there JOJO Ahh, this is fun, I'm having fun, we're having fun. Isn't this fun? Of course!! Family ties have been approved for Bass Drop and Fresco by, respectively, MasterMustang and StarStorm. Fantastic...Though, I guess I'm in the wrong for not checking for something like that. I may just change his name to Poof if I fail to think of another name. Until then, I must think of clever magic words and / or puns!! I can understand the residence issue, I may have his legitimate home in Manehatten then, as his mother is sister to siblings BassDrop and Fresco's mother, Chroma Canvas. The bird however, is the issue just him having a messenger bird or is it the no name? If it's the name, I'll think of one lickety-split. If it's the messenger bird itself, I will reluctantly remove it in it's entirety. Or argue with SRP Helpstaff until they say their word is final or let me keep the unnamed avian. Let the tweaking commence!!! This shouldn't take more than a few minutes as these are very minor things, save for the bird. And everyone knows that the bird, is the word. That sounds like a great idea, Jane!! Though, what about the the non-winged creatures when the group is visiting Cloudsdale? That is, if they go there at all. So everything sounds pretty good so far. ponies wind up in Auri's store -> everyone becomes acquainted with one another -> journey begins in ??? and continues and finishes in ??? Am I correct? Oh, and the character I shall be using is Poof. Though he is liable to change.

My only concern is how this RP starts off and how and where everypony meets. Everything after that should be smooth sailing. And we could plan out n the RP so that way there's more options. I think? That way we would'nt be railroading this in the OOC, limiting where we'd be going. But the Crystal Empire is a must!!!
