Could maybe turn that easily annoyed into a firey temper? "Passion Fire" extremely passionate about her work, and has a tendency to snap bluntly? It kind of fits the character description if you describe it that way, too

I'm a huge fan of dapples (Whisper, my unicorn, has a bubble cutiemark meant to look like dapples on her flanks ) I agree that less is usually more, but there are actual markings like your first design, Leopard Appaloosas. They're like dalmatian horses lol And yes, feel free to put it on FA, Haiku is my name on there, too

She doesn't have a name, but after seeing Spike's mini crush on Rarity, I started thinking on a little girl dragon that would be obnoxiously in love with Spike. She's notably tinier than he is, younger, and head over heels first crush puppy love omghowcanIlivewithoutyou in love with him >_< Spike has always been one of my favorites.

Is it sad that despite the glaringly obvious, I really just wanted to point out that it looks like Applejack is poopin' apples?

I've been doing doodles of characters I find interesting, hope you don't mind I went....a little crazy with the dapples...

If you'd like than on the opposite I can always just flip the image and resign it These only take me about 20-30 minutes so it really is just a doodle

You also mentioned "Playcolt" (Playboy ref) so I don't think Willow's assumption was very far off...Pretty sure FiM is pretty G rated...or maybe that's just me.

Well, it falls into a marketing standpoint now. The brighter colors and exaggerated expressions appeal more to today's generation that they would have to 80's/early 90's kids. Almost all kids' programming has taken to the same tactics, some more subtly, because what we (well, me, at least, but if you were watching Transformers and G.I.Joe I assume you're in your late teens/early 20's) grew up on tended to focus more on delivering a clear cut message than pure entertainment value. If you watch old cartoons now, you notice a lot of the messages, to the point of them seeming overly scripted and corny, that are in pretty much every plot. Most things now are more for entertainment value than anything else, and given the competition between channels and programs, whatever will appeal most to the masses is what's made. Foster's won me over before they even ran the pilot. Powerpuff girls notsomuch. And FiM, for what it is, is a decent show. Also, I was a little girl obsessed with being a ninja turtle. Gender boundaries are what you believe them to be...I believe their meant to be bent and broken if it's what makes you happy

Also, I was extremely put off FiM at first because of the animation. I'm still not thrilled with that style, honestly, but it is what it is... I HATED when they came out with the cutesy Core 7 ponies as well, but they still have the actual toy ponies cast very similarly to the old ponies I grew up with, so I content myself toy-wise with only buying those ones. I like the show, its mindless indulgence, but I'll always pick the MLP I grew up with over this new style when it comes to favorites

Lullaby has been a character for yeeeeeaaaaars, when I joined her for RP here I specified that she's always been a flutterpony, but because they haven't been featured in FiM yet, she'll be played as a normal pegasus.

So, I get ideas for doodles faster than I have ambition to finish them. Because of this, I have a bajillion inked drawings on my hard drive, but not so many finished things (hard to believe if you look at how many ponies I cranked out during my insomnia fit last night in my other thread, lol). These are all saved as PNGs, I've never been very good at making the templates that are basically a clear overlay, but feel free to take these poses and color them to suit your character! Please, please, please do not use these on other sites, I'm making them just for this board. They won't be posted to FA or any other gallery off-site on my part, so please be respectful of that simple rule! The only other "rules" are do not remove my signature, and please don't alter my lineart without my permission (hairstyles, accessories, etc... but feel free to send me a note, I'm usually okay with thing if you ask first, and honestly, I've got the base files saved, I could potentially go in and do some edits to "personalize" them a bit more) Earth Pony Pegasus Unicorn Other

Thanks, pony style kills me, Jubilee was my first attempt, but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. The cuteness overkill is taking a toll on me though, I need to go draw monsters for FA now, lol
