1. Cydonia chuckled lightly at Gerrard, the lighthearted joking was rather humourous, "Ah, the statue was..." the hippogriff thought for a moment. Time, materials, polish too, "As I recall it was twelve bits, if you'd like I can wrap it up for you as well" she said nodding her head over her shoulder at the boxes, haphazardly stacked near the cash register, "Free of charge too!" she said with a friendly smile. She always did have a surplus of boxes, since parts and tools she ordered usually came in them, she had to use the boxes SOMEHOW, right?

Ears pricking up at Fire's suggestion, Cyd nodded, "You're in luck! I actually have a twelve set of flagons that never sold, the whole set's goin for forty, they've got a nice ivy pattern to em, not frilly or nothin, sturdy, made of stained oak with iron supports, they're right here, just a second!" she said walking behind her counter and pulling out a big box, setting one of them out from inside. They were rather big too, something you'd see filled with mead! "Hope these are what you're lookin for, if not I could make somethin special." grabbing the card that Swift floated over, Cydonia looked it over for a moment, she wondered just what was 'important' that the unicorn wanted to speak to her about, "Well sure enough I'll try to make some time! All depends on how busy it gets t'day." the hippogriff pinned the card up on a small cork board behind her.

((Think the prices sound about right, kinda guessing lol))

  2. "Fire there's got the right idea on the piece. It was actually made for a small presentation on the REA that was gonna be held at a school, but their funding ran a little low so they had to cancel it. I sent their money back to em, but the piece was almost done, so I went on and finished 'er! It was supposed'ta represent that even folk so different can get along and respect each other." Cydonia said with a nod, brushing a little more dust out of the front door, "As for clocks, I could sure as sunshine make ya one. I couldn't make the workin parts, but I could make the face and such, there's a clock maker not far down the street from here that'd be more than happy to make that part though, nice feller."

Upon hearing Swift talking about making an order, her jaw nearly dropped to the floor! "T-twelve rooms and a dinnin' hall! Well goodness!" she said with a bit of a chuckle, it sounded like quite the big job, "Well I'd more'n happy to, might have to call in some favours, but nothin' too troublin'. And I do appreciate the offer there, but 'fraid I can't just leave the shop, specially after just opening up! Maybe some other time though." the offer was really nice, but her work did have to come first.

((Sorry that it took so long to reply, combo of things makein it difficult, lots of real life stuff keepin me busy, plus my inspiration is weak the past few days xD))

  3. Cydonia smiled as everyone filled into her shop, customers weren't rare really, but it was always nice to see folks browsing over her wares, even if they didn't buy anything, it meant that they got to see how the quality of her items were and perhaps they would tell a friend, "That's right! Built everything you see by claw, some of the stuff was made quite a while ago, and just hasn't sold, but some are only a few days old." Cyd smiled with pride at the comment, she was always pleased to hear that ponies liked her creations. She was also pleased to hear that Swift would perhaps buy something too, "Alright then! Feel free to take your time, there's a lot to choose from."

While Swift and Fire had their private moment, Cyd grabbed a broom and began to sweep up the saw dust that littered the ground, "I really need to start sweeping more. Leave it for too long, next thing I know I'll be neck deep in dust!" she said with a chuckle before looking over to Gerrard, "Feel free to buy something too, y'hear?" when Fire came back around to ask her opinion, Cydonia scratched her chin in pondering, "Fancy beer barrel. Well I have a couple of regular barrels, not sure how well they'd work for beer really. Never made one especially for beer though."

  4. Dark grinned on the inside, another brilliantly successful diversion. He felt rather accomplished after that. Though now he had to listen to the farm pony ramble on about his exceedingly boring home and the horribly dull ponies that were sure to live there. Why can't ponies ever come from interesting places, like Tartarus, or the Everfree or Bog, like him! Scratching his head upon being asked if he ever ventured to Fet Loch, he did honestly think on it, "I may have once when I was younger, we didn't travel much really, mostly stayed home. I'm sure if I visited again someday I would know if I had been there or not. Have you ever been to StalliongrOOPH!" Dark quickly covered his mouth, how did he do it?! Carrot didn't even continue to PRY and the villain almost let slip where he was from, this was getting to be too much almost, was dessert worth it? Well if it tasted near as good as the Chimicherrychanga, then that's a solid...Maybe.

  5. Cydonia jumped lightly, not used to such spontaneous contact from anyone, let alone folks she had just met. But she did return the hug with an awkward smile and a chuckle. What a strange morning this was turning out to be. At least she had a chance of getting a little business done, if she could find anything for this 'Muggo' character. So no stools or the basic stuff. Shouldn't be so hard right? Looking up at the sky, it looked like the sun was finally in the right place.

"Well I suppose it's about time to open up shop!" she said finishing off her drink and standing up from her seat. Turning the sign on the front of the door to Open, the hippogriff held the door open for the three, "C'mon in, feel free to look as long as you'd like." the smell of various woods wafted out of the building, it was almost like walking into a forest. Saw dust was lightly strewn along the floor, various carvings and totems hung on the walls, stools and tables sitting around the floor. It certainly had the looks of a carpenter's store.

  6. Tin smiled and nodded his head, "Then by my right as a Knight of Equestria, I name you my Squire! May you serve me, Equestria, and it's people well until the end of your days. Who knows, mayhaps someday you too will become a Knight!" he said proudly, hefting his spear from his back and tapping each shoulder of the Griffon, before placing the training weapon back between his wings. A fortuitous day, he thought, he was lucky enough to not only meet an Ancient Ent, but acquire an new Squire as well! Wait until his parents got to hear about this!

"Ahh, I'm afraid that is not a possibility! As brilliant of a plan as that is, my dear parents, frail and defenseless as they are, need me on their own travels, that is my current task, to protect them from all who would wish them harm. Family is a strong bond, and one to be defended at all costs." he said with a nod and a wise look to him. Well, as wise of a look as the young colt could muster, "Be sure to remember that Squire. But, perhaps sometime we shall take to wings and dole out swift justice to those who wish to bring darkness unto the lands!"

  7. Cyd chuckled softly at Gerrard's comment, "Well I suppose! My mum gives great hug, doesn't matter how long shes know you either." she replied with a smile. Her mother always was a kind soul, especially folks who were in the same kind of position she had been in, in the past, and for Cyd, she was always there with a smile and a hug when her day wasn't going the best. Shaking her head as Fire apologized, the hippogriff smiled, "Oh don't worry about it, I know how it is. If you would have meet me before I had my morning tea I would be the same way! Gotta have somethin to get the gears turnin inside, am I right?"

"A bar hmm?" Cydonia scratched her chin for a moment as she thought, something for a traditional bar, shouldn't be too flashy, simple, perhaps a little rustic in design, but still a good polish to the wood, "Well, lemme think, I have a few pieces that didn't sell in my work shed. There was a nice wine rack, a table and stool set, a few various wood sculptures that I just didn't care much for, so I put them away." not that they weren't well done mind, but she just could figure out a place or a pony that would use them, perhaps one would work for this situation, "I most certainly do. It costs a tiny bit more depending on where it goes and the size of the thing, but Fillydelphia's not too far, so it wouldn't cost much more."

  8. Tin clapped his hooves together as he watched the griffon 'breathe' fire. While he was impressed, he still wasn't ready to believe he was breathing the fire at a whim, "A very impressive display!" he said with a smile and a small nod, "And yes! A freelancer of sorts. Far and wide I search for wrongs to right and ponies to defend where they cannot." the pegasus flitted his wings happily as he stood proudly. The colt would fight right in back in the old times, and if one didn't know better, you'd think he was ripped from the pages of a folk tale.

Upon hearing that Gerrard sought adventure, Tin smiled brightly, "I see! You seek to Squire under me! How could I have not seen it before!" he said lightly slapping his forehead with a laugh, "If you seek adventure I would be most honoured to take you under my wing as a Squire. But know this, it is not an easy life, being the Squire of a Knight such as I. Long days, sleepless nights. Carrying heavy objects. Being the bridge across water for damsels in distress. That sort of thing! But if you feel as though you could handle it, I have needed a Squire for a long while now. The last one met with a terrible fate." the make believe Knight shook his head sadly.

  9. The Hippogriff couldn't help but to giggle at Gerrard's interjecting answer, and even more so at the two's reaction. It was clear that there was some sort of truth behind the answer, at least on one front, if Swift's reaction was any sort of indication. Unrequited love is one of the hardest things anyone ever has to deal with. She silently hoped things would turn out good for him, "Oh my heheh. Well I'm sure I could find them something, even if they aren't really 'lovers'." she said with a smile and a joking wink at the two. Cyd always was one for a little ribbing here and there.

Tilting her head at Fire's question, she was taken a little by surprise. She knew that there weren't very many Hippogriffs in Canterlot, at least not that she had met, but it was a little surprising that somepony from the REA had never seen one, perhaps they didn't get many Hippogriff volunteers? And being mistaken for a Griffon too? She had figured the fact she had a snout and not a beak would have given it away. Oh well, she smiled politely as she went on to explain, "Well, ma'am. I'm a Hippogriff. My mother is a griffon and my father is a pony. I suppose there aren't too many around Canterlot then?" Swift's statement however, was more odd than Fire's question of species though, confirming something? What could he mean by that?

  10. Jumping slightly in surprise upon hearing someone talking to him, Tin stood up and turned to see who it was. Looking over at the griffon, that's just what Tin saw. A griffon. He breathed out a small sigh of relief, for a moment there he thought that a real threat had crept up on him while he conversed with the mighty ent, "Hail griffon." he replied with a smile, seemingly unphased by the pint sized comment, "Nay, I am not a part of the great Sun Princess' army. Nor the Moon Princess' either! I am but a free knight! I do just deeds for those who require my aid." though he didn't look quite Knightly, he at least seemed to act the part. If it was just that, an act. Upon being mocked though, the child's ears flattened a bit as he looked down, looking as though someone just struck down his favourite companion, "I....I'm not crazy...Am I?" he asked to the tree, which he stared at for a moment before perking back up with a smile, "Oooh! I see, that makes sense. He says that he doesn't wish to speak to you. The last griffon he talked to tried to cut him down into trinkets. Tacky ones." the little knight nodded.

"A fire breathing griffon?" he stared blankly for a moment before chuckling, "Oh hahaha, surely you jest! Griffons can't breath fire...Unless they ate really hot food. Maybe then perhaps." shaking a hoof in a jokingly scolding manner, Tin tsk tsk'd at him, "A valiant effort friend, but you would have to get up PRETTY early to pull the wool over Sir Tin's eyes! But I drift from my question! What brings you out this fine day, my fine feathered friend?"

  11. Returning to her own seat after handing out the tea, Cydonia let out a happy little sigh as she settled back into the chair. It was clearly a well crafted chair, a keen woodworker's eye could see it was literally made from one piece of wood, oak to be precise. The wine red cushioning on the backrest and seat of the chair was expertly sewn as well. It was quite the masterpiece. Upon Swift's odd and a little impetuous question, the hippogriff couldn't help but snort lightly, a pensioner? "Oh, no, not a pensioner, hehehe." a giggle escaped her as she held her paw up to her snout, "No no, my mentor made this chair for me a good while ago, when he finally felt that I had become a master woodcrafter." her eyes were filled with pride as she said that, running her talon softly across the armrest of the chair.

Taking another sip from her own cup, it was Cyd's turn to question, albeit not as rude of a question, "So what brings you two out this way this morning?"

  12. "Oh, my water's runnin just fine, thank you for asking, I think someone down the way had said something about their pressure bein low, but m'not too sure on that." Cydonia said in reply to Gerrard's question before turning back to the other two with a smile. It was nice to have some company for once. Oft times folks who walked by were too busy heading to their jobs or school to stop and chat over tea, which meant that most of the Hippogriff's mornings were rather quiet, "My name's Cydonia, Cyd for short, it's nice to meet the two of you!" getting up from her rocking chair, Cyd stretched out her forepaws and hindhooves, bones popping a bit as she did, "Well thank you, Lieutenant, I try to keep it up to standards. Two more teacups, comin right up! Excuse me just a moment." with a little bow to her guests, Cydonia retreated into the shop for a moment, back up the stairs to the kitchen.

After a couple of minutes, the woodworker returned, still bringing a few snacks, just in case, "There we go! I brought out some scones in case anyone wants some." sitting the tray of snacks down, Cyd went about quickly pouring Swift and Fire each a cup of tea and holding them out to them, "Here you are, feel free to have a seat and chat, I'll be sure to open shop soon so if there's anything you want I won't hold you up."

((Since I don't have art of Cyd yet, the best way to get a basic idea for what she looks like is to compare her profile description, and the art of this other Hippogriff, Orlando))

  13. "O'course! Helps to be open minded in a city like this'n. See so many different folks out and about. Quite the melting pot!" Cydonia said as she refiled her own cup of tea, still piping hot and fresh, the steam wisping around her snout as she took a long sip, savouring the bitterness of the tea, with the sweet hint of lemon that played on the tongue, "Ahhh. You do quite a respectable job then, Mr. Grayfeather. A lot of folks wouldn't want that kind of job. So much hard work. Why I remember one time back at the Gulch, one of the pipes burst and no one got to work on it for days, had to drag buckets from the reservoir to the house to just take a shower! Oh but where are my manners this morning! I really didn't give you my name, silly me." she said chuckling a little, sometimes she thought she'd lose her head, if it wasn't attached, "My name is Cydonia, but most around here call me Cyd for short." the hippogriff replied, finally properly introducing herself to the griffon just as two more visitors came closer.

"Oh, hmm..." looking up in the sky in response to the question, Cyd rubbed her snout and charted where the sun was at now, "Ah, not quite open just yet. Not much longer now though, if you don't mind waitin for a little bit, I can fetch a couple more cups and you two can join us for tea!" she answered with a kind grin to the two, "I could even grab a couple biscuits or scones."

  14. Cydonia had began to muse to herself, planning out her day's work. She had a bed frame to repair, as well as a chair to carve for a customer. Then there were the decoration orders. So much to do, and she was unsure where to start. Taking a long sip of her tea, Cyd was drawn from her thoughts by a voice addressing her. Sitting her tea aside, she smiled at the visitor, chuckling a little bit at how flustered he became from guessing her race wrong twice. She let it go though, no harm was meant by it. It seemed he was trying to hunt down where he was supposed to start his work

"Pleasure t'make your acquaintance, Mr. Grayfeather." she replied with a kind nod, "And yessir, well, close, this road is actually where district one and two separate." Finishing her sentence, the Hippogriff glanced down the road for a moment, taking notice of the couple that had came down an alley, before turning back to her guest, "Anywhere specific you're lookin for?" Cyd grabbed the second tea cup she had and poored some, "Tea?"

  15. Dubstep mused quietly to himself as he watched the mare pop and bump and hop around. She had quite a good rhythm to her steps, she was able to keep a beat even without hearing one. Most ponies wouldn't be able to notice that as well, but being a DJ himself, he could always spot a good beat when he saw one. As good as her steps were, it was still adorably amusing, the childlike wonder in her was rare to see in anypony, well, anypony but children, that is. But that wasn't a bad thing really.

Watching with a smile as the pegasus landed in front of him, the unicorn was rather surprised by her reaction, she had heard of him? He didn't think many folks around Ponyville had even heard of him, let alone consider him a star or inspiration! It was all a little embarrassing really. With a chuckle Dubstep rubbed the back of his head and pulled his headphones off from his ears, "Ehehe, yeah, that's me! I'm a little shocked you know of me. Well, a lot shocked. S'weird." the way she was fangirling over him, is this how REAL stars feel all the time? It was quite flattering! "Oh no no! S'all good gal, I dunno how boss I am really. I mean, I'm a'ight. Just came out to do some grocery shopping. Eggs, milk, bread, uhh, food stuff! Nothin real fancy." this gal seemed groovy enough, and she looked so familiar, where had he seen her before?... "So...OH! Now I know why you look familiar, you're ah, Deadhor5, right? My brother brought back a sampler from one of your concerts one time! You're pretty rad yourself."

  16. "Aahh...well. I don't USUALLY get stuck, you see. It just so happened this time that my luck took a turn for the misfortunate side, and the window closed down on me. Probably would have still been stuck if Purple hadn't helped me, come to think." Dark said with a small shrug. This guy was persistent! And as nosy as a bloodhound on a trail. He had to figure out SOME way to get him off the subject of where he lived. At least for long enough for him to get dessert, "I was heading too...Canterlot. To go see someone about...a thing. So where are you and Purple from originally?" the quick question was all the colt could come up with, he dearly hoped that steering the conversation onto Carrot would be enough to get away with yet again avoiding the question, 'Oh Discord please let that work...'

  17. Hey folks! I got a couple three RPs here that are open for people to join if they'd like, thought I'd toss em up!

First we've got The Story Of The Trees OR Sir Tin's Day Out located in Ponyville, staring my newest character, Tin Solider (Of course as with any of my characters, his Bio is over in my character's list!)

Second is A Misty Morning staring Cydonia, my Hippogriff Woodcrafter!

And thirdly is Touching Down For The First Time this one was started by Cat Napper and stars her character Jumpstyle, and little ol' me, Dubstep =3 All three are open to anyone who'd like to jump on in, so feel free!

  18. Cydonia smiled softly as she rose from her bed, staring out the window as the day greeted her. Another perfect sunrise brought about by the Princess of the Sun. A thin fog had settled over Canterlot that morning, giving the near empty streets a lovely, yet almost eerie look to them. Today was another work day for the Hippogriff, but not for a few hours at least, which meant she had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the scene.

Heading down the hall of her upstairs, the lower half of her home having been converted to her workshop and storefront, Cydonia slid into the kitchen with a yawn and a smack of the lips as she brushed her mane from her eyes. Sifting through her cabinets, she finally found what she had been looking for. An old looking tin tea kettle and a couple of ceramic cup. Setting the kettle on to boil, she went on about her morning routine, brushing out the rat nests in her mane and throwing it back in a ponytail, brushing her teeth, all that stuff to keep you nice and healthy. Staring in the mirror though, a sigh escaped from the hybrid as she ran a paw across her scars. A constant reminder of her stupidity and why it mustn't be repeated.

The sound of the kettle whistling, at a boil, was enough to snap Cydonia from her little somber moment, back to a soft smile across her face, ready to start the day once more. After a little while, her sweet lemon tea was finally ready. Bringing the kettle and the extra cup with her, Cyd planted herself in a rocking chair on the porch of her shop and quietly sipped her tea. While it wasn't often that anyone was up at the crack of dawn, aside from Celestia herself, she always brought an extra cup, should a thirsty stranger come by to keep her company.

  19. While in all honesty, Dark could have stayed in the tender moment that he and Cat shared forever, fate, karma, or timing had something different in mind. Upon hearing another voice pipe up out of nowhere, Dark's heart sank faster than a ton of bricks. His face turned a bright red as Cat pulled away to respond to the foul intruder who so rudely stumbled upon their most sacred of meeting places. The villainous mastermind flailed wildly, making sure not to strike Cat though, "Who in Discord's name are you?!" he demanded of the pony who arrived, his wild flailing causing him to slip from the branch, nearly falling all the way off! Though he wrapped his hind legs around the branch just in time.

Hanging upside down, the colt looked even less threatening than he did before, but that didn't stop him from trying, "You dare to disturb the most evil of ponies?! The most calamitous colt to create chaos and crush the creations of the churls that so celebrate the crazed creatures to call themselves 'Princesses'? You would invoke wrath that you cannot BEGIN to comprehend! Your mind will unravel at WHAGUH!" Dark's grip had finally ran out, causing the monologing colt to fall to the ground, head first, "Ow! Blast it all this is unacceptable!" he shouted as he tried to pull his horn free of the ground, it having impaled there upon impact, "...Hrrng..." he grunted as he struggled, "I...I'm stuck! BY THE POWER OF ALL THAT IS EVIL I COMMAND YOU TO LET ME GO FOUL GROUND!!" Dark was quite indignant at that moment, his hooves flailing about as his cape flipped over his head.

  20. Grocery day, grocery day. Dubstep hummed a tune to himself as he walked his way up from his river side tent on the outskirts of the town. Being such a clear bright day, the bright coloured unicorn figured it was as good of a day as any to head out to the store to restock himself. Especially now that he had finally started getting a little used to the landmarks around that led him to Ponyville from his makeshift home. Though distractions did come on occasion, a neat looking flower, a butterfly floating by, or a good song playing through his headphones. Though he always did make it, most of the time it was late, but he did make it.

Though today the distraction that caught his eye was a bit different. Okay a lot different. An odd pegasus was standing, kicking and tapping the ground with a hoof, almost like she was testing to see if it was real. After a moment though she finally did walk on forward towards the town. Being curious, Dub couldn't help but follow along a little ways behind, watching her strange antics, tapping on houses and eyeing them like they were the strangest thing she had seen in her whole life! He couldn't help but chuckle a little bit as he peeked over his shuttershades and watch her.

Continuing to watch her for a little bit, Dub had all but forgotten about it being grocery day, it was almost cute to watch the full grown mare acting so curious. Though when she slammed her hoof against the ground with a thud, which caused her to squeak in pain, Dubstep couldn't help but wince, "Oooh, that had to hurt..." he thought out loud.

  21. Hey everypony. So me and Cat Napper have a sweet little thread Have At You Foul Beast and currently our little villain is enjoying a quiet little sweet time with his newly gained fillyfriend. Sharing a leetle tender kiss x3 SO! We need someone to come in and spoil the little moment, causing Dark quite a bit of embarrassment! If anyone's willing to be said Killjoy, feel free to join in and happen upon the two love birds! Despite saying [Closed] it's fine if you wish to join. Thanks in advance anyone <3

  22. Dark smiled rather happily, he was glad Cat at least showed some interest in the ideas of evil and and entertained his thoughts of 'inevitable' world domination that he so thirsted for and felt was rightfully his. Though these ideas of Cat being his fillyfriend would take some time to get used to, he was slowly warming up to the idea of having somepony be by his side, even if she didn't become a purely evil queen to go alongside his clearly magnificent villainy, she was still there for him, which says a lot to the silly colt, who was so used to being taunted or kicked around.

"Thank you Cat. You're one of a kind too! You've been able to stand me long enough to become my first real friend, and more...Some ponies say I'm a little 'insufferable'." he says making air quotes with his hooves, rolling his eyes lightly, what did they know? They were clearly just jealous of Dark's mastery over the evil and vile arts of maniacal villainy! "Thank you for everything. Food, company, everything. And even if you never spread a drop of evil in all the time we're together? I would want to keep you." he said with a grin, a blush of his own spread across his face as he leaned quickly in, giving her a sweet tender kiss. The first he was able to initiate of his own.

  23. Glitzen shook his head as he helped Honeywing gain his balance after standing up. He'd have to be sure to get those spots out of that suit and cape for him, but that could wait til later, "Oh dear, I told him I needed to make sure you were alright, he'll understand." he said as he gave the other pegasus' cheek a lick, the punch wasn't too awful bad really. The fashionista couldn't help but chuckle at his coltfriend's reaction to all this, especially that grade A crash landing in the punch bowl.

"Don't you fret dear, the deal is already sealed. Now onto more important matters. Are you alright? You didn't hurt yourself did you? Nothing sprained or broken?" GG asked as he began to look him over, checking for cuts or nicks or scrapes of any kind. He might be a bit of a worrywart, but it was his love he was thinking about, you have to be a bit of a worrywart over them.

  24. Glitzen took a few deep breaths to regain his composure, his mind was still reeling from the news, this was the start on the right path towards his dreams. Pushing back the urge to give Max a very unprofessional hug, the pegasus took one last deep breath and shook his hoof enthusiastically, "Thank you so so much, Mr. Rockefilly. I promise I shall do my utmost to keep this deal good for the both of us!" Glitzen couldn't express his gratitude enough. Though his emotions were certainly a good indicator of how thankful he really was.

Ears pricking up at the sound of a small crash, Glitzen glanced over at the fallen 'zebra', who was now laying in a small puddle of his own dye, "Oh dear..." he said under his breath with a small chuckle, "I do hope you can excuse me for a moment Mr. Rockefilly, I've got to make sure someone is alright." the fashionista carefully hung the dress up once more before walking quickly over to Honeywing, "Honeywing! Are you alright?" he asked, there wasn't much point in keeping up the charade when his dye was melting away, "Oh dear you're going to be so sticky." a small giggle escaped him as he pulled the bowl off of his head.
