  5. you're very welcome. i was going to dress her, but i didn't think it would look right in this picture. plus i was able to draw her cutie mark.
  6. alright, sorry its taken so long. i've been working like 8 days in a row. but i have four days off starting tomorrow and so far i have nothing to do. so i'll be home bumming away and drawing. any requests will be touched upon soon~
  7. don't worry. when i'm in a better mood, this will change. i plan on doing something like... new types or "theme" every week. mostly just when my mood changes.
  8. Evening, ponies! Holly here with a freebie thread. Though this one is a bit different then usual, and I'm a bit odd when it comes to choosing who I want to draw, so bare with me on this one. This thread is a "Theme of the Week" thread, where every week, or every other, or when ever I have the free time to draw, I will change the theme according to my mood. I will likely take a small break between theme's, so just letting you know that there will be a week or so of no art. My pony art has improved a LOT since I started drawing in 2011, and I really want to share it with people, and draw the ponies that inspire me and have my likes, so I do want to let you know that even if you post in here, you might not get the art. I have to FEEL the character before I put pen to tablet. A few things about what I use, I know some people are curious when it comes to artists and their ways. I use a Wacom Bamboo, not a very large tablet or high tech, but it does the job. The art program I use is Paint Tool Sai, and SOME TIMES Photoshop, but that is usually for special effects like glowing or textures. A decent pony piece takes me about 1 to 2 hours, depending on my attention span and determination to finish the picture. A LOT of the times I LiveStream, so I will either post the link in here when I start a new session or I will be in the chats, throwing the link around to get people to watch. (I draw faster and focus more this way.) So without further ado, lets move on to this week's theme!! Recently I've been feeling a little down, and I want to express that in dark and gloomy pictures. So I would love to see dark coloured ponies or winter ponies, something that is all around somber and cold. Here is a better list of what I am looking for: Any ponies that, - are dark in colour - are related to snow - glow in some way - that deal in the spooky and creepy - are naturally sad - or are evil in some way Post here and I MIGHT draw you. Please keep this to JUST ponies and OC's. I'm not sure how I will do with other races, and I don't like drawing canon characters. (Unless its Luna or Nightmare Moon) lol. So post away and see if you're lucky!! Request List: 1. Tales 2. CLOSED 3. CLOSED This weeks theme is closed, and I will be finishing up the last two on my list, and then hopefully starting a new theme by the end of this week! Past Art:
  9. ok, re-wrote his history. i know that the mane and tail might be an issue, i went with the best route though to nurf it. i was thinking he could either get the mane and tail at night, or during four moons, and the rest of the nights he could just get the chilly body? i'm willing to work this out, though i'd like to keep the idea if at all possible. also, if you need a picture reference of his natural mane and tail, i'd be more then happy to provide it. just please, go easy on me. >_>;

  16. RoleplayType: Free-For-All and Crossover RP Name: Spectral Frost (Spec by friends) Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Pink with blue edging around the iris. Coat: Deep midnight blue with a near white shine, every strand of fur in pristine shape and smooth as possible. Muzzle is of a bright light blue, fading into the deep blue of his body. Mane/Tail: During the daylight, Spectral has straight length mane and tail, silky soft and a pale blue, same as his fetlocks. During the night however, his mane and tail are made of pure spiritual energy. They glow about the same colour as his muzzle, bright blue to white, and shifts and fades like flames of a fire. Spec's fetlocks are the same as his mane and tail. Physique: Spec is rather lean, taut muscles and thick, long legs. His hooves are larger then some, and compared to most, he is taller then most ponies of this world. His wings are large, though not immensely so, just enough to get him off the ground and where he needs to go, and to make him look imposing and larger then he really is. Residence: On the edge of Everfree Forest in the cemetery. There is a little shack he stays in. Occupation: Cemetery Guardian CutieMark: Diamond shaped shard of ice with a light burst behind it. History: Spectral was born to a loving mother and father, Dark Moon (mother) and Fallen (Father), in cold winter. He was a healthy foal and was well loved and cared for. Specs parents worked a lot though, especially during the winter, when Fallen helped with the snow fall, and Moon helped hide the moon behind dark, stormy clouds. When he was young, Spectral would watch the night skies, looking for his mother and father, waiting ever so patiently. During the day, they seemed to be around more, and in such, they would teach him to fly, take him to school, play with him, and Fallen would teach him about the winter and its cold and eerie nights. Spectral loved the cold, he loved it as much as his father, and he respected the fact that Fallen wanted him to follow in his hoof prints and take on the help of snow and ice. Moon was happy and supported his desire with a loving smile. Though, as Spectral was for the most part, a rather obedient and good colt, he did have his moments of curiosity and adventure, and alone at night would leave him plenty of opportunities to venture out and explore Ponyville. Course his interest... was the Everfree Forest. It was not uncommon that when he would sit at his window, over looking the forest that he would hear whispers coming from the trees. Though his nights of looking out the window to the woods would soon leave him to no longer wonder. Once dark night alone in his home, Spectral slept soundly in his room, curled up under his covers and dreaming of flying, that was, until a sound suddenly jerked him awake. Someone had broken into his home! Least... so he thought. Frightened he hid under his covers, shaking like a leaf, all he could here was the sound of pots and vases moving, things being shuffled, and then a crash sent him leaping out of his bed and into the air. Though what his eyes rested upon was not a burglar, but a small blue light under a piece of broken vase. Curious now, Spectral gained his courage back and flew down to see just what it was. That whispering... much louder now, he could at least hear it, but still not understand it. When his hoof lifted the piece, there was a small wisp, playful in nature and curious about him as he was it. He had little idea at first what it was, and it grew to be frustrating when it wouldn't leave his side. It was more so when his parents laughed at him and told him to stop playing with imaginary friends, clearly, he was much too old for that. Disheartened, he kept his friend a secret, knowing that he was really the only pony that could see the... well what ever it was. He didn't know to be honest, and he kept calling it a fairy. Until one day when he was out in the market place doing a little shopping, that he ran into a filly his age. Willow Wisp, who was quick to point out that he had a spirit tailing him. Much to his shock and delight, he was happy to hear that someone else could see it, and now he knew just what it was. The two instantly became friends, and while his father had plans for him and snow... Spectral was growing more and more interested in spirits, and Willow was the pony to teach him. The two ended up growing up together, and became very close friends, though as they got older, Willow advanced in the subject of ghosts and spooky things, where as he... did not. As it was, his wisp friend was really the only spirit he could see, and it angered him. Willow was able to see every thing, but he couldn't, and he knew that somehow the spirits where his calling. Eventually, Spec came to Willow in a plea, to help him see, to help him hear and talk to them like she did. Wanting to help her friend, Willow agreed to do her best, though couldn't guarantee anything. Following, Spectral nodded and the two slipped away into her home and began to research and preform the magic. Everything was going right, the spell was just to allow him to see and hear them better, but during the casting, something happened. The inexperienced Willow's concentration faltered, and the wisp that had followed Spec around for many years, crossed beams with Willow and Spectral, and vanishing into the spell without either knowledge from the two. Upon opening his eyes, he found, nothing had changed, and Spec was left spiritless and cutie mark-less. Angered and hurt, he ran from Willow's home, never to speak to her again. Though a few nights had past, and he found that he was sleeping more and more restless with each night, so much that he couldn't sleep. It almost hurt to, and his ears were filled with whispering and cries, but still he could not see. Eventually, after his parents left for work one late winter night, he found a place to rest and fall asleep. Upon waking, his eyes were wide, and he looked about. There was no sound, no whispers or cries, but he had changed, and he didn't even know it yet, but something told him, to leave the home and to head towards the edge of the forest. He did, and where his feeling led him was straight to the cemetery where there his eyes laid upon the sight of a rather full space. The spirits had all awoken something he learned they did every night, angry and restless as he was. He saw spirits, and he couldn't be happier. It didn't take him long to notice that he did change, that he felt colder, and yes, his mane, tail and fetlocks changed to the same energy as his little wisp friend. From that point, he knew that something the wisp did made him like this, and he was actually relieved that during the day, the effects wore away and he would be his normal, warm self with his old mane and tail. After that, it was frequent to the cemetery and he would spend his nights there, watching and protecting the graves and new spirits, even helping them cope. It seemed that he was really the only one who could see them as plainly as he did, though what gave him his cutie mark was that he gave the spirits peace and tranquility with his mere cold presence. The chill from his body was stronger in the cemetery and such gave those that... "lived" there a relaxing calm, and so, he would simply fly about the cemetery, tapping small icy clouds upon the head stones, frosting them over and calming the ghosts. It was not long after the first time he did this, that he got his cutie mark. Since then, he spends his nights outside, never really talking to them, but just being there, cleaning up the cemetery from visitors, giving gifts to those who have not been visited, and knowing everything about the eerie and depressing place like the back of his hoof. It came to the point where he and his parents built him a small wooden home, nothing fancy, but enough to call a home, and he began to live there among those who saved his life. During the day however, he is rarely seen, since he does sleep, but its also not unheard of that some ponies come to his door to ask for help. CharacterSummary: As a young colt, Spectral was rather happy. He was outgoing and social, with a few friends and lots of hobbies. He was easily excitable and a little reckless with his flying, though when his parents put their hooves down, he would instantly shape up and act as he should, proper and with manners. Honestly, Spec was never a bad colt, he just wanted to have fun like all ponies, and it wasn't hard for him to do. Naturally curious, he is always inquiring about something, or looking into things he shouldn't, and after his incident, that aspect never changed. However, after his accident with Willow, Spec grew up into a quiet stallion. Though he likes to be around others, its hard to tell if he's shy or just has nothing to say. In all honesty, Spec likes to observe and watch, something that came from his time alone in the cemetery, and something that stemmed from his curiosity. Its not hard to make him smile, he's very kind, very giving, despite his appearance and air, but do let his charm and kind nature fool you. When it gets right down to the nitty gritty, and enough of his buttons are pushed, Spectral can let out an anger that not only riles him but his spirits and cause sudden paranormal activities to happen. Though, his anger never lasts long, as long as the issue is resolved quickly with an apology, he calms fairly well. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, and isn't afraid to show it. In the area he most shows it, is the care he takes upon the graves of his cemetery. Often times he is the groundskeeper, and cleaning, arranging and keeping the place looking... well more welcoming, and keeping those rotten colts and fillies just there for kicks out of the place. What he really doesn't want ponies to know, is that the flowers put upon most graves that need it, are arranged and given by him, and seeing him do it? Well... good luck, cause he does it under the light of the moon and stars, when most are asleep. Spectral has an odd habit, one that most would find rather creepy or odd. When guests leave and they forget something, like pictures, satchels, watches, hats, anything, he collects and hides it away in his tiny little home. His wall is full of shelves and things he has found, and there is something about it that makes him just a little more close to the spirits. If that wasn't weird enough, Spectral could tell you the names of who visits who, the exact times, the items placed at a grave, and how most ponies have lost their lives, though the latter he does often keep to himself. Its a fact of life, he knows, but death is something most ponies are uncomfortable with, in his case, he is no longer afraid, and yet, he is no longer curious. Art by me.
  17. Yes, he was. I found a gen one astrotrain online, unpackaged but really good condition. I was totally happy, until he never came in the mail. >:I very upset. I'm a huge transformers fan, I want to get my favorites from both sides tattooed in a 3/4 sleeve, maybe 1/2 sleeve. My living room is TF themed. OTL
