  1. Alisea grinned as she got in close! Finally, her range! She was partly split, she didn't want to hurt him and make him bleed, but she didn't wanna look back in front of her team. So she compromised, and as she went for her barrage of punches, she tried to aim at less important spots, mostly his arms and legs instead of the more effective target, his chest. After all, she wanted to play, but she didn't wanna hurt him... "Come on!" She yelped, a large happy grin on her face "It isn't a fight if you don't fight back!"
  2. The Faunus looked over at Slash, taking a deep breath as she watched him. Was he worried, probably, but she didn't know if she wanted to care enough... "Me and T had an argument..." She eventually said to him "When we talked about Grim, he overheard us through the door. Something got into him and we..." She paused, not wanting to get emotional, although one of her hands did make a tight fist. She wouldn't admit that she cried, that she'd run away from Beacon. She turned to walk away, but her foot stumbled over seemingly nothing, but she recovered herself. Of course, if Slash was being observant, it wouldn't be hard to notice that Midnight was struggling physically. Not only was she being reckless in fights, but under her eyes, black marks had grown, worse than before. Moving slowly in order to not trip over again, the Faunus slowly walked following the professor, and took a drink of, something within a flask that she was carrying on herself.
  3. The Faunus did indeed, once she felt her Aura recharge a little, leap back into the action, both her blades back in hand. She moved at the last pack of Grimm Wolves, quickly dispatching off the rest of the wolves, and while her Aurea was low, it wasn't down...yet. Once the wolves were dead, she looked over at Tehengu from the distance on the battlefield. Part of her wanted to scream at him, beat the answers out of him she wanted...no, needed to hear. Lash out with every bit of pent up emotion that had been boiling and festering within her for the past few days. Did he hate her, love her? They'd kissed, and for that, she was certain he liked her. But...When he found about about Grim, he'd acted to...Immature! As if having an ex was a crime, although...Midnight wasnt' sure if Grim counted as an ex, given she was still in love with him, in her own way. But instead of all that, instead of confronting him and getting the truth out, she simply walked back to the main group, swords back onto her hips, and was silent. She didn't know what to do, and there was no one who could point her in the right direction...She was lost in broad daylight.
  4. The girl looked at her gauntlets as Eric revealed Why her strike had caused him to bleed. Although, she had to admit, Dust-infused blood as a weapon, was amazing! "That's so cool, you are your own weap!!!" Her compliment was cut short as the spears of blood were launched at her. But the girl actually charged forwards, punching 'through' the spears and aiming straight for Eric!
  5. Midnight heard her name and, upon looking, saw the arrow coming towards her! Out of nothing more than raw instinct, she raised her shield as the arrow connected. She had been about to yell at him for trying to hit her, when the dome emerged and the Beowolves were no longer hitting her. The Faunus gave herself a sigh of relief, although...The fact it was Tehengu who had helped her did make her...uneasy. Was this meant to be a sign, from him, that he had moved on? She wasn't sure how much to read through his action, but, while the dome protected her, the Faunus gave herself a break to recover herself and her Aura
  6. For all the skill she had, she was limited in a single fact. She was a single faunus. Hacking and slashing with all her strength was only achieving so much, and slowly, but surely, her Aura began to fade from the claws that were coming in. She'd successful taken down a large number, but one final strike from behind dropped her Aura into the 'red zone'. She realized, far too late, how much trouble she was in. Surrounded on all sides by Beowolves, and lacking much Aura to protect herself, she realistically had one option. She placed one of her weapons onto her back, and drew out her shield. Now, each time a wolf struck, she worked on deflecting the blow, but struggled to cut down the wolves. Frustrated, but she knew it was her own fault. Her obsession with the small picture had meant that now, in the big picture, she was in trouble..
  7. Finally...A fight. That's what she wanted..no, needed! She gripped her second blade and drew it slowly, advancing on the grim with a dark smile and muttering a single sentence over, and over, and over again. "I am soldier, I will eliminate all who oppose me" She threw herself at the Grimm, hacking and slashing at any wolf that got within her range. This style of combat was different to the Midnight the team knew, before while aggressive, she'd always fought with a sense of self-preservation. But this was different, Midnight was charging head-first into as many Grimm as she could see, blades drawn. During the fight, as quick as she was, the Beowolves were getting their claws in, and slowly her Aura began to be chipped away.
  8. Mountain Glen? The name was familiar, then the story came back to her. A Vale outpost that failed horribly, resulting in the death of so many. It was amusing almost, they tried to hard to get away from the big city life, only to die to it. None of them signed up knowing that was to be their fate, yet it was. Still, the fate of those long dead mattered not to the Faunus as she continued to walk, not even bothering to look at the Grimm the professor had pointed out. But, they were hear on a mission, Search and Destroy. The girl smiled at memories of similar words, missions for the Fang. "If we're here on a search and destroy mission" , she said. It would be the first words the team would have heard from her in some time, and her voice was as cold as ice, as cold as the day they'd met her on that airship "Then we split up and exterminate them section by section". Following her own orders, she turned to start walking, but paused. As if waiting for a confirmation...As if waiting to be allowed to begin the hunt.
  9. Alisea tapped her foot against the ground, still confused. Her gaunlets hurt yes, but they weren't designed to punch through someones Aura. So why was he bleeding? She didn't get it, and didn't like not understanding! Made her feel like all the adults were lecturing her again, telling her to 'grow up' and 'calm down'. She watched Eric charge in, and met his charge with one of her own! So she was, disappointed when he leapt over her, and she did nothing but watch as he flew. However, the blood did catch her eyes, right as it turned into a needle! She dived out the way, but wasn't quick enough and her Aura took damage. She stomped her foot on the ground as she picked herself back up "H-hey! That's cheating, you can't use your own blood as a weapon! It's meant to be inside of you, not outside!"
  10. The town itself looked like a joke, thankfully, it didn't appear dangerous. The Faunus kept herself armed regardless. Although, her equipment differed to her usual weapons. While she did indeed have her two blades, as per normal, she also now carried a shield. The shield, a dark silver, was a medium sized-kiteshield which currently sat on her back under her bag. The girl hadn't ever mentioned when she'd gotten it, nor why she now carried it. Unknown to her team, it was what she carried during a majority of her time within the White Fang, until she'd gotten used to controlling dust and got rid of it in exchange for a second blade to be more aggressive in combat. Silently, she began walking forwards towards the town. She wasn't' sure why she was here, but while she was, she would have a look around. Given the state of the town, Midnight suspected that Grim would still be lurking around. She spun the blade in her right hand, while the other sat in its sheathe on her hip. All the while, not a single word was spoken from the Cat.
  11. Alisea let out a yell of surprise as the blade split in half! Letting it go, after successfully hitting her opponent, she leapt backwards and, much like her opponent, began to walk in circles around him. "Blades that turn into giant scissors, that's so cool!" She beamed, before spotting the blood on him. She grinned, it seemed her gauntlets had done the work, although, she was slightly surprised in seeing it cut through someone's Aura entirely "Oh...It went through? I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you bleed" Despite her girlish charm, the look on her face didn't seem to be an act.
  12. Despite the silence in the airship, Midnight opened up her book. It was the same book she'd had since the very start, and she'd barely gotten into it due to...the team. But now, having forced distance between herself and her team, she was slowly reverting to her old ways. The old days where her only friend in the world was a book, and she began to lose herself within the pages.
  13. Alisea Lagoon kipped backwards to dodge the kick, however, the swing of his blade was met by a grin. As the blade swung towards her, instead of trying to dodge it, she stuck out one hand and 'Caught' the blade within her gauntlet. Even if his blade should have shattered through, her semblance refused it. She was able to 'layer', as she called it. For her clothing, much like her gloves, had a second layer to them. Armour, heavily crystalized and extremely tough, plus, using it as a shield, she could 'weaken' the impact but also allowing some of it to damage her Aura. As a result, it appeared as if her armoured gauntlet had simple stopped the blade. She grinned "Tag!" She yelled, using her leverage over Erics' weapon to pull him forwards and herself towards him, aiming for an inside hook punch!
  14. The girl, upon hearing the counter his 0, also waited. She did frown at him, eyeing up his sword. Well, If he wasn't going to play, she'd make him play! Grinning, the Girl made the most reckless possible move. She charged, head first, fists raised, aiming her first punch at Erics' left arm.
  15. The Faunus had tuned out Andreas' teasing, focusing purely on the pages before her face. However, because of the book, she also missed Tehengu arriving. She would have missed the professor had it not been for Slashs' voice demanding she move. Sighing, she marked the spot in her book and moved. Grabbing her bag, blades and starting dragging herself to the airship. Of course, that's when she spotted Tehengu, and she froze for a moment. It would be one of the few times, over the past few days, that she'd seen him. But, he seemed to have everything under control, unlike her who looked ready to pass out at a moments notice. The Faunus felt conflict bite within her, before stepping into the airship and picked one of the corner seats to 'hide' from the archer, and the rest of her team, during their trip.
  16. Alisea was upset, was she that boring that he didn't even bother to say hello? The girl pouted a little, kicking the ground with her feet before spotting the timer, and her face lit up like it was Christmas morning! "Well, I guess I should grab my stuff huh? I don't wanna be mean and not go all out against youuu" The girl raised her left hand and clicked her fingers. In that instant, the gloves on both her hands changed. Changed from black leather to a black armoured gaunlets. The gaunlets were spiked, sharp and, if they connected against flesh, they'd tear it apart and salt the wound. It was clear from the design alone that once the targets Aura was down, that's when her real pain came in. Of course, within a duel, such accessories upon her fists were for nothing but show...right? "I didn't mean to deceive you, but having the Gaunlets visible reveals how I play, and I had to wait until the end. Now then, Mr Satyr, make sure to have fun!".
  17. (FWAA & KLJJ. In my defence, I didn't think about the team names and what they'd spell lol) "Walter, who is this Eric?" Asked the silver haired girl who sat besides the well-clothed student. "I'm afraid I have no idea my lady, it is evident he is one such student I was unsuccessful in gathering sufficient data on. However, that being said, I do believe it is time for one of our team to step up" "Any suggestions?" was her simple answer. "Of course, what sort of butler would I be if I couldn't make an educated guess. Given what I can see of our opponent, as well as my own estimations, Alisea is best equipped" Upon hearing her name, the girl perked up, and slowly jogged her way down to the arena. She'd been picked for the first fight! Physically the girl was rather short, with golden-coloured hair which was nice and long, and obsidian coloured eyes. She didn't carry any weapon with her, BUT she didn't need it. What she was wearing was enough for her. Clothing wise, she was wearing nothing too special, a jacket & shirt, long pants and combat boots, along with a pair of black gloves. Despite lacking any weapon, the girl was confident. "Pleasure to meet you! Names' Alisea Lagoon. I hope you don't mind Mr Satyr, but I can't let you win this duel. My commanders counting on me too much" The girl beamed as she spoke, a large smile. Almost as if a 8 year old was speaking to him, not a girl in her late teens.
  18. I've played all 3 story lines, so goooood! Setsune and Pery
  19. A reason to fight? As Fire has stated, there are about a dozen single sentences you could say to start a fight. Also if Pyro is taking a break from posting, can we accell the duelling one while we wait?
  20. Midnight had finished her food, but was finding any excuse possible to NOT go to the landing pads. Although, eventually, she ran out of valid reasons and considered not going back to her team just to make a point of protesting that she wanted to be left alone. Eventually, the Faunus walked her way to the landing pad, where she spotted Andrea and Slash. Silently, and reluctantly, the girl walked over to them, dumped her bag on the ground, laid down onto the ground, and pulled out her book to read.
  21. The suited individual, Walter, gave Glynda a bow as he took the scroll, and quickly entered the required information, names and location of their school. After successfully filling it in, he returned it to the teacher. Listed was the name of their home academy, ATLAS. And below, the name of two teams. Team 1: Felicia, Walter, Amelia, Alisea Team 2: Katherine, Larissa, Jamari, Johnson Walter gave the educator yet another small bow as she would take back the scroll "I thank you very much for your hospitality within Beacon Academy Ma'am. We are excited to be able to display what Atlas academy has taught us, and to learn from the techniques from your own prestigious academy". With his piece spoken, he moved back to where the 8 Atlas members sat, placing himself next to a young girl with clean white hair.
  22. (I thought it was more like 'see how it goes and figure it out as you go' style, that's how I was doing it. Awks. Anyway, i'll shut up OCC and let the fight continue)
  23. Xiêyè paused for a second as the girl faceplanted during her charge towards him. Really? She tripped? She seemed much to agile to actually fall over from something like that, but he couldn't pass up the chance. He threw both swords so they would pin her arms down by her sleeves if she didn't move, then approached quickly with his third sword drawn, ready for her counter. ----------------------------------------- "Heheh, no sleeves" Ellie thought, knocking the swords away as she rolled away from the man, flipping back onto her feet. She charged after the man again, hoping that he doesn't have any more weapons. Using the flat side of her sword, she pushed it against his stomach, bringing the sword and hopefully the man with it over her head to throw him onto the ground. Ellie heard a familiar voice yell from the crowd, gritting her teeth as she yelled back, "SHUT IT SCRUFFY!". She continued to fight, striking at the man faster before getting low for a leg sweep followed by her sword in case he jumped. If he managed to avoid both her leg and her sword, Ellie would strike upwards at him to throw him off balance. ------------------------------------------ Gāisî de." He said to himself, cursing his mistake. Well, it was too late to fix that now. As she rolled away, he took the opportunity to pick up the sword she knocked closest to him. As she charged, he moved to the side to avoid it, blocking the follow-up strikes by diverting them. Then came the leg sweep, making him jump into the air and leaving him unable to dodge the sword swing, so instead he used his blades to block it, the swing hitting the bottom of them and sending him into a roll over her sword. He landed on his feet and wasted no time in delivering slash after slash at her midsection. He was slashing faster than she had, due to the weight of the weapons. Interspersed through his assault was stabs and kicks to help drive her back towards the wall near his third blade so he could retrieve it. (Turns out its @SymphonicFire turn, my bad)
