The only one that looks "off" is the top right with the neck too long, other than that they look great, especially given the speed you did the pictures.

Probably nothing, just Trixie likes to tease and show ponies up. She probably wouldn't actually *hurt* AJ, but Trixie sure would mess with her.

Remove the half tone background, as it detracts from the characters, the reason being is it is far too busy and serves no real purpose.

If you want to use navy blue over purple text, instead of having a shadow, have the text use a soft very light blue glow around it so it will stand out.

What would be even better though is to make the backdrop the same color as Mare-Do-Well's "eyes", that was the text and the characters will stand out and the background won't suffer from being too busy.

It definitely be cool to have them be a boy-girl siblings; that is how I viewed them.
