I would get rid of the letters, only because cutie marks are very iconic and small on details, as they are small compared to the body they are on.

My suggestion is to expand the canvas above and below the cross and place any text above and if need be, below. You don't want it over the cross (or her of course). This way you can set it to appear as a standard poster dimension, which has a 3:4 ratio. Also to avoid the artifacts and because it is a vector based image, I would save online copies as a 24-bit PNG with alpha transparency instead of a JPG.

If I recall from the preliminary drawings for that episode, Rarity indeed was supposed to appear as a lady vampire (but with her mane up). Sweetie Belle actually dons a similar costume.
