LOL.. Sorry just laughed from reading the first sentence. Besides I wouldn't call anything a "plot shot" unless it was purposely drawn to get the viewer to focus in on that area.
-
Warhammer 40K AJ?
-
LOL.. cute.
-
They should be the site's official ship couple.
-
Nahh, I can see Dash like this, she does it to hide the fact she really worries everyone sees her as worthless.
-
My only critique is that her forelegs and body should be twisted more to the right to indicate releasing such a heavy object given her position in panel one. Otherwise this is excellent.
-
Hmm, she sees something suspicious.
Great pic though.

Cute pictures!
Needs MOAR ship

Crud, was going to do some pic with Minty in it for Christmas, you beat me to the punch. I dunno what I'll do now
Great picture though!

I often debate in my mind whither or not to add extra shading for the ponies. Personally I think they come out better without except for very specific scenes to help establish mood.
The only thing I can think of is maybe make them a little darker to represent night, but it isn't necessary at all.

The REA always gets the best party cannons, but I won't begrudge them anything. All those surprise birthday parties aren't going to throw themselves.
there is a lot of tables to cover with decor at those big galas.

I suppose I shall comment. This is naturally quite an awkward position in terms of pony anatomy (just like your Rarity picture), yet this excels in execution. Far superior to your alternative spitfire position both artistically and in an emotional sense. I am especially fond of the clothing.
Well I will grant its unusual in pose but in my defense, I am not doing anything the show itself do when it comes the characters and being "liberal" with poses (such as Dash with her forhoovesbent behind her head while laying on her back crossed legged in a cloud). So I realized there is a bit more artistic license when it comes to poses. That being said I will try for more traditional pony anatomical poses for future pics more often as I certainly understand your point in this. Glad you still found something about the image you enjoyed.
Sorry you didn't like the other one.

So what is the story behind the characters? I am most curious.
-
Oh that is awesome and cute and you have her perfect!
-
And that's fine; there is nothing wrong with having your own style as long as its 1)Good anatomy and 2)instantly recognizable who we are looking at
You have done both.
-
Even if Pinkie falls off, she'll somehow be at the finish line before the rest of them.
-
LOL I hate doing backgrounds myself, really boring.
As for the picture, it is adorable. I didn't think that episode was that good, but Sweetie Belle's utter cuteness made me like it, she is too adorable for words.
-
The animation is very well done, I am wondering what she is looking at in the end there (I assume it will be something on that widescreen TV)
-
Its stylized slightly different than from the show but I think it looks just fine for her.
-
First time I have seen the wet mane stallion, so you got something new there!
-
His twin sister identical in color um has a crush on him? that's a little weird... o.o
This. O_o
-
lol, that is creepy.
-
Yeah, this is why I save literally every 10-15 minutes in Photoshop after just coloring a single layer, etc. You never know.
It is very nice picture too; I am curious about him.

Now to get you to draw some of my characters.
