  1. I rather enjoyed the episode. I really enjoy how they kinda brought everything from all the seasons together.

This episode has left me a bit confused. I think it was interesting how every villain made a cameo of sorts. Discord and Nightmare Moon clearly appeared in the episode, but the particle effect for Sombra's magic appeared when Twilight turned the potion to white. What's more, the invasive plant life seemed to be based entirely on the Changling aesthetic. The similarity was so significant to be, I was banking on Queen Cheese-legs being the problem at the end. The plants were black with a blue-teal thorns, sharp pointed thorns, and large gouges in the leaves. I'm curious if this could be some heavy fore-shadowing that the series is not unknown for.

six keys... Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Discord, Sombra, and Chrysalis. They wouldn't dare make the six titans of MLP come together to open the chest with the one item that can defeat the true evil... would the writers do this to us?

  2. [Wilted Forest]

    1000px-Dragon%27s_Dogma_-_Wilted_Forest.jpg

The Wilted Woods, a desolate place where the undead are known to prowl at night. It's home to the Abbey, the groups target, where the Sisters of the Faith ensconce themselves in quiet contemplation. Why they chose such a remote and dangerous place is unknown. Of course, it maybe that in times past the forest was a safer place.

    Usual Enemies

    Chimera

    Bandits

    Changelings (Allegedly)

    Wolves

    Orge (at night)

    Some rules

    1) A posting cycle is 2 days or 48 hours or 2880 minutes. Each cycle begins every time I post, players will have until my next post in two days to post. If a player cannot post their character will be moved along as necessary and it will be thier responsibility to catch up with the events of the RP.

    2) No posting in any other language than English in the main rp or OOC threads. Take that to PM if necessary, I believe it's against canterlot rules, plus I don't want the clutter.

    3) If you aren't following the OOC or the rp thread you are responsible for getting any information you may have missed.

  4. Name: Miles Quillsworth

    Gender: Male

    Age: Stallion

    Species: Du horn

Eye color: light blue; with slit pupils

    Character color: dark, earthy grey

Mane/Tail/Other: dark green, worn mid long, and styled up

    Physique: slender, of average height

Residence: Formerly Canterlot Palace, currently on the road, without a permanent residence.

    Occupation: Adventurer

    Cutie Mark: Scroll and Quill

    Vocation: Magick Archer

Starting Skills: Threefold Bolt, Magickal Flare, Ricochet Seeker

Current Equipment: Leather armor with some plate pieces worked in, most notable on his shoulders and front; well crafted, but perfectly mundane bow

Dress: Cloth of an Equestrian aristocrat, though a low one

Unique Traits: In combat, Quillsworth offers ranged support with his bow in combination with his magickal capabilities. In addition, being a du horn, he is capable of limited echo location, and with that "see" in perfect darkness, and is able to talk in and hear and understand supersonic sounds. His magickal potential is below that of a unicorn, capable of learning the most basic spells, like moving objects with his mind (which is is quite good at, at least when handling his bow), imbuing his arrows with magical properties and probably more with rigorous training.

History: Born into a family of one of the more unimportant branch family of the Equestrian royal family, Quillsworth was raised in the way to be expected for a future aristocrat. He was taught how to read and to write, he was taught Equestrian etiquette and history and strategy, but by far the favorite thing he was taught was, as his teachers would put it, defending himself. The bow quickly developed to be his favored weapon. Though it was around that time that he developed a special interest in fictional stories, stories of adventures and noble knights, who set out to fight powerful monsters and have adventures. He was quite taken with them, so much so that he started writing his own on at an early age. He grew into a young adult, and his parents had at that point been almost certain he would follow a career as an author. But they were in for a surprise.

Without anyone noticing right away, and without warning, Quillsworth had ran away from Canterlot. He had just packed a saddlebag with some writing supplies, a few hooffulls of bits, and his favorite bow from the training range, and had set out into the world, seeking the kind of adventure he had read so much about, eager to built a reputation for himself.

Character Personality: Since not on the road for all to long yet, Quillsworth still comes off as a sort of stuffy aristocrat, but for as reserved as he sometimes seems, he clearly lightens up when discussions go in directions he is knowledgeable about, and he loves to share stories with others, true and fabricated ones, whenever he gets the chance.

Character Summary: A young noble seeking his luck in the world, who is a skilled archer, but probably bit off more then he can chew.

(Did I do this right? I hope I did that right.)

How I love a well put together app. Miles is in!

  5. Name: Shale Malkhane

    Gender: Male

    Age: Late Teens

    Species: Pegasus

Eye color: Blood red left eye and a spectral white right eye.

Character color: Dark, pale blue colored coat.

Mane/Tail/Other: White mane, medium length, parted down the middle and flowing gracefully down the sides, and ruggedly down the back of his head. Short, white tail that curves over and away from his flank. A vertical scar passing through the right brow down to the right lower eyelid. White freckles on each cheek.

    Physique: Lean, partially muscular body.

    Residence: Alleyways of Grand Soren

    Occupation: Theif

Cutie Mark: A cloaked figure with a dagger, leaping into action

    Vocation: Strider

Starting Skills: Ensnare, Toss and Trigger, Helm Splitter.

Current Equipment: Basic long bow, flint-trigger daggers and gloves with a lower wrist compartment for gunpowder (for Toss and Trigger) and a retractable gripwire mechanism (located on the backhand of the gloves) that allows the wire to be dispensed through the finger tips of the glove and retracted afterwards (for Ensnare).

Dress: Tattered, black cloak made from curtains, grey civilian tunic and pants, black worn-out boots.

Unique Traits: Tends to rely on constantly flowing combat movements through the usage of acrobatics and flight maneuvers. Will generally use his bow for anything but its intended purpose. He is partially capable of fighting while drunk off his flank, but tends to remain on ground more when in this state.

History: Shale as resided in the alleyway of Gran Soren for as long as he can remember, often resorting to theft of food stands to keep himself fed and alive. He has no recollection of any parents or siblings, and has been living alone for the majority of his life. It was when the Arisen came about that he found his calling through pickpocketing and doing odd-jobs for the people of Gran Soren. Since then, he's been taking coin pouches, getting in bar fights (and taking belongings of those involved), kicking the **** out of the competition- well, more like pissing the competition off and getting ganged up on often but he still manages to pull through. Recently he's been pulled off the streets and forced to join the likes of the Bluemoon Brigade, and has been having issues with alcoholism as he has resorted to relying on the drink to soothe his nerves and his pain. His scarred eye was acquirev when he had gotten into a particularly nasty fight, one that almost left him lifeless.

Character Personality: Rowdy, hotblooded, and short-tempered. 'Patience' is not a word the exists in his vocabulary as he tends to abhor having to wait around, go slow, or do anything that generally cannot be done without moving around. Though he tends to be incredibly motivated, willing to stand up against in the greatest of odds (in fact, the gamble actually excites him), he tends to come off as cold and antisocial when meeting with strangers, but generally a degree nicer towards mares. Shale is also quite prideful, which may become a problem should any question his courage.

Character Summary: Thief, Boozer, and reluctant Bluemoon Brigader. Shale is a troubled guy with a bit of a drinking problem, which left unattended can lead to some pretty horrific events ranging anywhere from starting bar fights to simple, drunken shenanigans. The former thief had been living a fairly decent if not completely legal life up until now. Currently, he is trying to settle in with the rest of the Brigade. Despite always wanting to go outside of Gran Soren...never wanted to be completely removed from what he considers his home. He still misses the bustling of streets and the birds that would visit him, even the cats and the dogs who were without owners. So despite acting all rough and tough, parts of him, his self-esteem especially, which have been left unnourished by any semblance of parents, are still sensitive. (Dead tired, will add more to it if needed)

    Name: Steelfang

    Gender: Male

    Age: Stallion

    Race: Earth Pony

    Eye Color: Yellow

    Character Color: Snow White

    Mane/Tail color/Style: Blond Viking braids

Physique: Muscular (He's not huge, but he's big enough to carry heavy armor)

    Residence: Aernst Castle

Occipiton: Hired Muscle, occasional adventure seeker.

Cutie Mark: A shield being struck by lightning.

    Vocation: Fighter

Starting Skills: Blink Strike, Tusk Toss, Hindsight Slash.

Current Equipment: Platemail armor, fine steel mace, fine steel shield.

Dress: Steel Platemail over an old tunic.

Unique Traits: Prefers maces for bashing, and using his shield to slam into enemies.

History: Steelfang comes from a long line of bandits and his history reflects it. He spent his early life acting as the muscle for a small band of thieves. After he decided thieving was a waste of his potential, he decided to take up mercenary work, he figured that if he could use his strength to his advantage without getting on the wrong side of the law, it would make for an easy living. While most folks would find the current state of affairs disturbing, Steel views it as a golden opportunity to make his fortune.

Character Personality: Loud and comedic, Steel loves a good joke, good drink, and good money. He has few friends but keeps the few he has close, he's much nicer than he appears, and likes to put others at ease with jokes.

Character Summary: Heavily armored fighter who uses bashing weapons, veteran mercenary.

Name: Knight Errant. Usually referred to as Ser Errant or Erran.

    Gender: Male

    Age: Stallion

    Species: Earth Pony

    Eye color: Royal Blue

Character color: A dark musky brown with darker patches towards the end of his legs and muzzle.

Mane/Tail/Other: His mane, originally cut short for his military role, has now grown to be rather shaggy and quite messy. Still relatively short but long enough to cover and eye and some if in the right place, normally swept across the top of his left eye however. His tail follows a similar fashion and both share the colour scheme of a much darker, dirtier brown. Multiple scars from blades are present on his front legs and face but more often than not they are hidden by worn armour that features a lot of tell tale signs of mending and ware & tear. His hooves are visibly distinct from the fur on his legs and thick stubble and signs of weathered skin are apparent on his face.

Physique: Knight shares the same build as most military types. Tall, lean, muscly build. Not overly huge though as he tends to be more mobile than his fellow soldiers.

Residence: Born and raised in the lands capital, Gran Soren. Moved to Cassardis.

Occupation: Knight, as his name would suggest was a knight for the Duke before all of this. Having witnessed and even met the Arisen on occasion he has firm belief that what the Duke is saying cannot be true. After an outburst in the company of not so like minded soldiers Knight was exiled with the Enlistment Corps. Stripped of his rank and title he now bares a serious distaste for the Duke.

Cutie Mark: Sword and shield crossed with a Gransy's flag on the shield.

    Vocation: Fighter.

Starting Skills: Skyward Slash, Sheltered Spike and Flesh Skewer.

Current Equipment: Gran Soren Shield and a Trusty Sword. Gran Soren Guard Armour all except the head. Barreled Helm.

Dress: Knight's armour is tattered with blue cloth and paint in tribal designs to show that he is no longer of the Royal Guard. Insignias and emblems have been scraped away. A brown leather shroud is worn across his shoulders and rests along his back, the end of the shroud is torn and ripped. Underneath his armour Knight wears clothing akin to that of a typical towns person, padded in certain areas for comfort of course.

Unique Traits: Sword and shield has always been his favored equipment and he is well skilled with it. In combat with a single opponent he would rush in with a flurry of strikes from both shield and sword to through his opponent off and gain the upper hand. In combat against a group he would move in amongst them delivering blows when he could and remaining well defended and nimble with his shield, hoping to confuse the enemy. Against overwhelming odds he has been known to somewhat snap and become damaging yet unpredictable.

History: As a young colt, Knight would always follow his father around everywhere when he was off duty. Every day by his side looking up to him, a captain in the Duke's Royal Guard. He commanded the respect and loyalty of his fellow soldiers and was a fair well liked individual. One important past time the pair shared was watching the local Jousting teams performing in the grounds near Gran Soren. Unfortunately during the Wyrm hunt his father was cut down by bandits attempting to sack a caravan that was under his protection. The loss destroyed Knight but filled him with a fiery passion to seek revenge and this meant the Royal Guard.

From the bottom of the ranks Knight worked his way up, blasting through every challenge and excelling at most things. Every day he would assure his mother that the bandits responsible for his fathers death would be brought to justice. In his later years in the Royal Guard, shortly before the disappearance of the Arisen, Knight discovered that several Gran Soren knights who were supposed to be with his father and the caravan had actually been paid off by the bandits. Knight brought the matter to the attention of the Duke and nothing was done. The ponies responsible weren't even prosecuted. This was the first moment that Knight had started to doubt his place in the army.

After several bouts of drunken misconduct and other acts stemming from this past event, Knight was issued a warning and forced to perform trivial jobs for several days akin to that of slaves. During his time with the working class ponies of the castle he discovered the Duke's disdain for the Arisen and that people were already being exiled due to their strong feelings for the Arisen. Knight having met the fabled Mare on more than one occasion couldn't believe the rumors and brought this up with his commanding officer. A brawl ensued and just like the others he was forced to leave. Before the Royal Guard could ascertain his equipment and gear he spoke once more to his mother, this time her gravestone and vowed yet again that he would avenge his father, with this he left. Since then Knight has found his place in the Bluemoon Brigade. Back into service is how sees it and they are the only ponies trying to make a difference.

Character Personality: A few of Knights main traits are that he is highly courageous, well trained, somewhat spontaneous. Knight never quite got the same leadership qualities his father did but he works just as well by himself. Short tempered in terms of dealing with people who refuse to listen to reason and facts. A strong realist. Knight follows a specific code in which the small pony is placed before the larger pony. The mare is placed before the stallion. The poor before the rich. Knight is never afraid to lend a helping hoof to a damsel or anypony in distress but in social terms he's neither the most approachable type or the most likable due to his nature as a loner.

Character Summary: Knight Errant is just as his name suggests. A soldier, a fighter, a hero when needed. He aspire to be someone children may look to for inspiration as he did many moons ago. His personal code his close to his heart and despite his somewhat cold nature he still manages to make it by just fine. He's a skilled warrior with many contacts in Gran Soren and has a personal grudge held against a specific group of soldiers and the Duke himself. Bandits and thieves are of a particular hatred for Knight but he has most this mostly to the side as he sides with the Bluemoon Bridgade. Knight will charge headlong into an army baring only his sword and shield if need be and his orders demand it.

RP thread is up you can post whenever you want.

  6. Name: Eclipse

    Gender: Male

    Age: Young adult

    Species: Unicorn

    Eye color: Yellow

Character color: Dark bluish grey coat.

Mane/Tail/Other: Silver mane and tail with grey streaks both are tied in ponytails.

Physique: Lithe, but with noticeable muscle definition

Residence: Bluemoon Tower/ Originally from Hearthstone

    Occupation: Bluemoon Brigade mercenary.

Cutie Mark: The moon covering the sun.

    Vocation: Mystic Knight

Starting Skills: Sky Dance, Magick Cannon, and Dark Counter

Current Equipment: Magic Buckler and Tight Cinquedea

Dress: Trooper Outfit, Grand Surcoat (in the brigade's colors), navy steel cuisses, and navy leather boots.

Unique Traits: Eclipse specializes in mid range support, and agile close range combat (using sky dance to air hike) and has an affinity for Dark and lightning magicks. He has a scar on the right side of his face, starting where his mouth should end and going back a few inches. Fur has grown over it, but it’s thin and you can still still feel it if you rub his face. He’s very sensitive about the scar. Eclipse is a highly skilled blacksmith with a unique style and is one of the few smith's in Gransys who can create enchanted weapons.

History: Eclipse was born into the care of a whore of a mare in the capital city of Hearthstone. Once he was old enough Eclipse was dolled up alongside his mother and sold for nights of fun; for years he lived by the rule “pretty gets paid”.

After finally leaving that life the young teen tried to distance himself as far away from his past life as possible, but old habits… The colt barely escaped a botched job with his life. Eclipse tried to distance himself from his old life by studying learn magic, but with no master he was doomed to fail. Not long afterward the young mage’s potential was discovered by an older, upper class mare who chose to take him in and teach him the way of the spellsword as well as crafting him into a proper gentlecolt. On his 18th birthday the mare told him that she had already given him all the gifts she could and said the only left was for him to seize his destiny with the tools she gave him. That night she left she and never returned.

With nowhere else to turn, Eclipse joined the Enlistment Corps, hoping that through adventure he could find where he belonged. He stayed with the Corps even when they traveled to Gransys to help fight the dragon.

Still believing in the Arisen, Eclipse left with the exiled Enlistment Corps forces after the Duke claimed that the Arisen had betrayed them.

Character Personality: Eclipse is usually polite, though slightly dismissive, to everyone he meets and tries to retain a somewhat regal demeanor. But life has made him somewhat cynical. Eclipse obsesses over his appearance, sometimes to the point of taking nearly an hour to prepare or breaking down once he realizes a severe flaw in his appearance. He has to be as pretty as possible at all times. He tries to make friends, but sometimes his attitude and tendencies get in the way. Eclipse absolutely refuses to lose and hates when someone has to save him.

He doesn’t like to talking about his upbringing.

Character Summary: A broken stallion from Hearthstone who never had a home before joining the Enlistment Corps. He suffered through psychological and physical abuse as a colt and now only seeks to prove his worth the only two ways he knows how. Eclipse is a well rounded fighter, preferring to switch between fast CQC hit and runs and mid range magic take out foes.

  7. SLASHER SMILES

    SlasherSmie73d.jpg

    Name: Slasher Smiles

    Gender: Female

    Age: mare

    Species: Thestral (batpony) - Pawn

Eye color: Red eyes with slit-pupils

    Coat color: Dark Grey

Mane/Tail/Other: Dark violet. Consult the image for the mane- and tailstyle.

Physique: Slasher Smiles has a toned body. She is as tall as a pegasus mare, which means that she is slightly smaller than unicorns and earth ponies.

Residence: She is living in the Rift but likes to travel to the different universes.

Occupation: Slasher Smiles is currently working as a sellsword, a mercenary.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a curved blade with a candy above it. But instead of the candy, there is a smiley

    SSCM5d49.png

    Vocation: Mystic Knight

    Starting Skills:

Blink Strike – Launch yourself forward with high speed and right into the enemy! Works on ground and in the air thanks to wings.

Broad Cut – Cuts a broad swath with the blade while falling back to avoid attacks.

Piercing Sword Kick – Launch the sword into the air and give it a kick with your hindlegs to launch it like a missile at the enemy! Able to penetrate thick hide, thick leather and light metal armor.

Current Equipment: On her left side, Slasher Smiles has a holding for her sword. Said sword is a Scimitar, held with the mouth. In addition she has light armor plating on her legs to prevent annoying injuries to them.

Dress: She is wearing her leg-armor pieces, a coverage for underneath, so the metal doesn't scrape her legs, which stretch up her legs and are similar to socks, and a weapon holding for her left side.

Unique Traits: Slasher Smiles is carrying a sword and likes to use it. Being a Mystic Knight she has access to some magic, improving her fighting capabilities, but she's not as adept with those as she is with using her sword. Being a batpony she can not only fly and walk on clouds, but she can also see in the dark, use echolocation as a sonar and talk in supersonic wave lengths, so only other batponies can hear it. She can also let out a supersonic scream, disturbing the vestibular organ of similar sized creatures and smaller ones, and to the smallest of all like rats it can cause high pain. Unlike pegasi she can't control the weather, make a cloud rain or shoot lightnings. She can't even manipulate clouds to change them into rainclouds.

History: Slasher Smiles came into existence three months ago. She travelled together with another pawn by the name of Rook and an Arisen assassin. After weeks filled with adventures and after defeating a dragon, Slasher Smiles returned to the rift. From there on she waited for another Arisen to ask for her help. But as time went on and only few ever needed her assistance, she started traveling to the different universes and working as a mercenary. So she came to an universe where the Arisen disappeared after her quest and is nowhere to be found. Thinking that it could be fun, she chose to stay in this world and help finding the Arisen.

Character Personality: Some would say, that Slasher Smiles has a wicked personality. And that is true! Sometimes she can be really inpatient and quickly bored, making the fighting from time to time her hobby. She enjoys it when two or more ponies are fighting to the death. In her opinion, looking into the eye of an opponent, both having the wish to kill each other, is one of the most honest moments in life. Together with her liking for fights comes the liking of pain. Being a Pawn, she is ageless and will probably continue being summoned by Arisen for her whole life. Being alive itself has no meaning to her, because she will always be resurrected in the rift. But dying... feeling the force of life flow out of one's body, until she dies, and then feeling all that life force again as she is resurrected, this makes her feel alive, and she enjoys this. So one can often see her throwing her life carelessly away, charging right into the enemy without thinking of her own safety or throwing herself into the attack of an opponent to protect an ally. The only thing she likes as much as dying, is the company of a nice stallion or mare during the night.

Character Summary: Batpony – Pawn, Mystic Knight

Fights with a long Scimitar and focuses on sword skills.

Likes to die and is working as a mercenary. She also expects to be paid even if she dies in combat.

This app is approved, she will be added to the list.

  9. Dragon’s Dogma: Seek the Horizon

    dragons-dogma-quest-ps-vita.jpg

We've been abandoned. Our Heroine, the Arisen has forsaken us. No one knows for certain what happened after the Arisen arrived at the Tainted Mountain; some say that she died slaying the dragon, others believe that she never went at all. Only one thing is known as a fact, when she entered the dragon’s lair, the world changed.

The skies blackened and the heavens cried ashen tears across the land. Half of Gran Soren collapsed into a massive sinkhole of unfathomable depths, a massive scar on the land that spews beasts and monstrosities into the land. In the middle of the chaos, Duke Dragonsbane also fell ill to the point of refusing to see his subjects, all the while claiming his sudden drop in health on the Arisen making a pact with the dragon, turning Gran Soren against the fabled mare.

Many of the citizens, having met her multiple times, didn’t believe that the mare would betray us all. The duke, not tolerating sedition, used the guard to exile those (many civilians and most of the Enlistment Corps) who would not discredit the Arisen from Gran Soren. Luckily, the ex-Enlistment Corps troops had a plan. They escorted the exiled to Bluemoon Tower, where they established their own settlement. The ex- Enlistment Corps continued their mercenary work as the Bluemoon Brigade to support the new city.

The Bluemoon Brigade has one ultimate goal in mind. Find the Arisen and learn the truth.

You are part of the Bluemoon Brigade’s new recruits. It doesn't matter what you were before, vagabond, bandit, priest, all are welcome among our ranks. Our job is to answer the calls of the people of Gransys and beyond while provided for and protecting our community. We've grown far beyond what we expected and now providing for ourselves is taking up most of our personnel.

That’s where you come in. The Brigade hasn't forgotten our goal of finding the Arisen and learning the truth behind her disappearance. You and a team of select individual have been chosen to pursue ultimate goal.

    ---------

This is an Rp taking place in the Dragon’s Dogma universe in the country of Gransys. Anyone familiar with the game knows that the scenario above is post- game. While Bluemoon Brigade is my own creation.

For those of you unfamiliar with this universe, DD is a brutal dark fantasy rpg. The best way to describe it’s world would be to call it a mish- mash of Monster Hunter and Dark Souls. With that in mind, this will be a brutal dark fantasy RP. Don’t come into this thinking that your OC is a special little snowflake and they won’t get injured, they can and probably will.

I expect decent post quality as well as a nice respectful atmosphere (that doesn't count when IC in the rp, but keep it reasonable).

Also note that I may have need of a co- GM, so ask about that.

In this Rp Changelings and Diamond Dogs take the place of goblins.

The large griffons of DD are to the primitive species of the FiM's griffon. While the DD dragons are the superior versions of FiM's dragons.

Without further adieu, here’s the app rules and form.

    ---------

    Playable Species

    • Ponies (All subspecies except alicorn and crystal. This includes thestrals (Bat-winged pegasi), Du Horns (unicorn version of the thestral), and Drakken (earth pony version of thestrals))
    • Griffons
    • Young Dragons
    • Diamond Dogs
    • Changelings

    GUIDELINES:

    • A character may be any known species of higher intelligence in Friendship is magic (plus the ones I added). You may be either the mortal incarnation of that species or a pawn of the same species. A pawn is an immortal, ageless being with little personal ambition and generally dry personalities, but can gain one. They are sworn to the Arisen, though there is no proof that they HAVE to obey them. When killed pawns return to the rift (a meta dimension), but may return through rift stones. Pawns have a scar on their hoof/ talon/ claws that mark them as part of the pawn legion.
    • Your character must come from a known settlement in Gransys or one of the surrounding nations of Hearthstone or Equestria. The settlement’s of Gransys are Cassardis, Gran Soren, Aernst Castle (An all stallion bandit settlement), or Heavenspeak Fort (an all mare bandit settlement).
    • Only unicorns and dragons can be pure spellcaster classes, but anyone can be a hybrid magic class.
    • I’m allowing assassin’s to use longswords and longbows, I am also unlocking the primary/ secondary gear slots for assassins (ie an assassin can carry two primary type weapons if they want).
    • No power gaming. Don’t try to start way too powerfuI.
    • I have "unlocked" equipment from classes (within reason) and abilities from weapons.
    • You may create custom abilities within reason.

Dragon's Dogma: Seek the Horizon RP

  10. M:TG has a pretty vast multiverse. I personally was running one with Ravnica as a setting some time ago. Have somewhere else in mind? Dominaria? Mirrodin? Kamigawa? Innistrad? I'm gushing! Inquiring minds want to know!

Innistrad, Mirrodin (Especially with the Phyrexian's there), and Ravinca are all good places. Maybe even the Shards since Alara is my favorite block. I'm leaning heavily towards the Shards if I do the M:TG rp. Right now it's 2 for M:TG and 3 for Dragon's Dogma.

Likes: A good fight, scotch, caps, and good friends.

Dislikes: Ponies who threaten him, ponies who think he's dumb, his past, and most authority figures.

Character Summary: Baron is a pony who's always had a rough time, he still acts like he's in a gang sometimes, and doesn't like being bossed around. That being said, he's loyal and hard working, and he's trying to be a better pony than he once was. He prefers heavy weapons and like to hit hard and fast, his enemies usually scatter after the first attack.

Personality: Brave and hardheaded, but also jovial and friendly (most of the time).

History: From a young age Bone Dance had learned that the world is scary, and it's best if you're scary right back, he was in a gang, the Metalheads, for most of his young life. He spent about 10 years fighting other gangs and defending his gangs turf as a lieutenant for the Metalheads, he eventually earned the name Black Baron after once lighting his hooves on fire with kerosene and beating ten rival gang members to death, leaving his hooves black and giving his legs burn scars. After years of the gang life, the gang took on their greatest rivals, a roving raider clan called Bloody Hooves. After almost five months of fighting and multiple bloody skirmishes, the Metalheads emerged victorious, but at a high cost, no more than twelve members of the Metalheads survived. Beaten and bruised, they disbanded across the wastes and never saw each other again, their long history forgotten. During his lonely travels Bone Dance began to regret the pain he had caused, he soon took up mercenary work, vowing to never kill anypony who didn't deserve it. His life as a ganger had made him tough, but harsh, he knew that stealing from and hurting innocent ponies for profit and territory was a crime he could never make amends for, but he tried, and to him, that's all a pony like him could do.

(Hope that's better, and as for the LMG, I intend for him to be more of a heavy support character, drawing attention so that allies can take down harder to hit enemies.)

First thing's first. Welcome back. Now on to the nitty- gritty.

You can't have that cutie mark. I have an NPC with that cutie mark.

    Now for everything else:

Stat numbers are good, no problems there...

For Brute Rage! change the health percent to when "critically injured" same for Pull Yourself Together.

That LMG being box feed and having one box on the opposite side and rigged to feed ammo to the gun seems sort of awkward to me. Nex is the one to consult about this. I maybe american but an LMG is a gun I havent fired... I can't tell if the Steyr I fired was the LMG variant or not, but it doesn't matter because those use mags. Basically, I can't visualize the mechanism that safely and effectively brings ammo from one side of his body to the other.

You went into detail and told us about his flaming hoof stunt, so why no kerosene and cloth hoof wrapping? Why no perks about melee and flaming hooves?

Check out Krieg, the Psycho's hellborn Skills for ideas!

    http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Hellborn

Other than that I see no problems. I''ll let Nex go at you. For now, i'm giving you a green light. Also I'll let you have that gang in Dise. I've no problem allowing the creation of factions as long as they down harm any of the material I base my canon world off of. You will be in the thread I just started. in Lowtown with the other player's on that side.

  12. How big is the group on gdocs? If its five or less including me... Could we probably move it over to PM with 5 people total? Or perhaps open it up in 18+ with a different name? Just a suggestion...

I'll just start make another thread for it since I want the others to still be able to see if they want to. I'll post the thread here for you.
