    Derpy's eyes blinked ones or twice as she looked at Time, completely mystified "huh?..." She said, pretty much making his nice speak go to waste unless one of the other two heard it "So... take the key?" She said as she reached out her shaky hooves and wrapped them around the hilt of the blade tight. She looked at Time with a cocked head and a flopped ear, not really sure what that was meant to accomplish "so... what now?" She asked, why did this pony have to speak in riddles! She could hardly do normal speech!

    Derpy looked at Rose who was laughing at some sort of joke... she didn't get it. Cocking her head to the side she kept looking at Rose, even squinting her eyes as she tried to think of how that was a joke "I erm... I don't get it..." She eventually peeped out as she looked at the group "Is this an inside joke?" She asked, looking between all three of the ponies with key swords, remembering what time said she flicked her hoof a bit... nothing "Hey time... this hoof flicky thing isn't working... I don't have a key yet..." She said as she watcher her hoof flicking back and forth to no avail.

    "[colour=#006400]Thanks Shade![/colour]" Slick said with a grin, turning around to get out the lake "[colour=#006400]I'l see you two later? Maybe tomorrow depending on what happens... little tired myself, heading home sounds like a good idea[/colour]" He said with a small swish of the mane to get the now soaked hairs from sticking to his head... Flashbomb sure knew how to live up to his name... just bombing everywhere, in a flash. But hey! Nopony was hurt except for maybe the ego of Bluemoon who was now flailing in the pond "[colour=#006400]Have fun! Don't get too late aye!?[/colour]" He shouted back as he headed into the forest, maybe to meet up with somepony else. As if on que Slick found Violet, Knight! And... a little one? Slick approached the group with a smile, happy to see the two little lovebirds together and making up "[colour=#006400]Hey guys! Don't mean to barge in or anything but erm... Who's the little one?[/colour]" He asked, going lower to her level "[colour=#006400]Hey there! I'm Slick! Slick Pelt... you lost little filly? I can help you get home with these two if you want![/colour]" He said kindly, but maybe too close for comfort "[colour=#006400]What's your name?[/colour]" He asked very child like, making a bit of a fool from himself

    Oh geez... Oh man.... Oh... oh.... Sweet Celestia!! What are you meant to do when this happens? "Uh... I erm..." He started, rubbing hooves together in pure nerves, confrontation was never his thing! He didn't like to fight... This was the worst possible thing! "But you... she... I..." He stuttered again, Pockets glare piercing through his very soul, Slick was just about to break out when Shade came along... oh thank Luna's great night... even though it wasn't the best thing letting Shade fight his battles it gave Slick time to think before the next one... which would probably end up happening sooner rather than later. Slick looked about, everypony had dispersed, well except for Shade and Bluemoon who were swimming about in the pool, he decided to make his way over and say hi to the two. He came over beside Shade and gave her a small nudge, a little nervous about talking to her "Hey... thanks for that Shade... but it's really not your fault! It's all me... you ok here with Bluemoon or you need a hoof?" He asked as he looked over at the filly who was only struggling a little "Your doing great by the way!" He said with a grin, managing to feel a little better then earlier.

    Slick couldn't help but feel a little... awkward about the situation with Knight and Violet... poor girl... why was Knight such a goof sometimes? Though Slick couldn't really talk... he was the goofiest here! He let Knight leave and just sat there in the water, a satisfied smile on his face. Until he heard a voice, a rather... wobbly sounding voice [colour=#800080]"Wa- Wha- What is you Problem? *hic*" [/colour]Problem? Slick didn't have any problem. He openned his eyes to see Pocket standing on the waters edge, glaring down at him like back on the beach... when he was acting foolish in front of Shade. Slick knew exactly what was wrong, suddenly feeling very nervous below the furious and drunken mare "[colour=#006400]Hey Pocket...[/colour]" He started with a gulp, trying to find the right words "[colour=#006400]I guess your talking about Shade huh?... Look I'm really sorry! I just really like her and...[/colour]" He kept going, just when Gear arived "[colour=#006400]Oh erm... Hey Gear.... me and Pocket are just um... talking you know?[/colour]" He said with a nervous grin, making motions across his neck to tell him to get away "[colour=#006400]Nothing wrong here[/colour]"

    Well things were going pretty good tonight... all was calm... ish and everypony looked like they were having a good time! Slick couldn't help but feel like a fool when Shade started being sarcastic with him, but gave him a little bump when Bluemoon had bumped into her, asking him how he was... thats an odd thought... how WAS he? Well Slick felt good... that was obvious, he felt like he had a crush on Shade, but that was even more obvious... how do you word that?.... "[colour=#006400]I'm doing pretty great Shade... today has just been a good day![/colour]" He grinned giving the filly a little nuzzle on her neck "[colour=#006400]I mean... I did meet you! And well... you know[/colour]" He said, not able to keep himself from giggling a little. But when they came to the water Slick had to pause for a little bit... it was amazing... A true spectical of nature... He saw Knight push Violet in and saw an opportunity to have some fun of his own. He gave Shade a small kiss on the cheek as he ran off towards Knight "[colour=#006400]SorryIGottaGoLoveYooou![/colour]" He called as he ran beside Knight, grabbing round his friends unsuspecting neck and pulling the two colts into the water beside Violet, letting go of Knight after the hit it and rising up to the top to wait for his friend. The water was so nice tonight! This was the best place ever!

    Hmmm... no distractions... and derpy could tell a fresh batch of muffins had just probably cooked... sneaky sneaky! Derpy fluttered her was over to the kitchen in a way nopony could call majestic and opened the oven, reaching in and taking a fresh one with her mouth, quickly shutting the oven after... wait... was it? Hot! Hooot! Derpy juggled the muffin in her mouth until she dropped it, making it fly into the air. No!! Muffin! She dived after it and landed on the floor to let it land straight into her mouth and down her throat, not even chewing. It wasn't until she looked up that she saw the rest of them, keys and all, suddenly derpy felt left out "Wait why am I here if I don't even have a key thing!? Can I leave?" She asked, looking up at the three.

    Slick couldn't help but laugh at Shade and her antics, they weren't all that funny but with her it was just... easier to laugh! "N'aww it's ok Shame! Just means you had me on the mind that's all!" He laughed as he watched Knight scamper into the cabin and back out with the sword. When he came back out Slick made his way to Knights side, saluting along with him and doing his best to keep a straight and serious face " Yes! And Slick is here too!" He added to knight with a small grin, still trying to look serious "I may not have a weapon .... but I do have... erm..." He pondered... what was his 'fighting quality'. Did he even have one? "My erm... Spirit!" He grinned, seeing that most ponies had started moving... he should probably keep up "Hey Knight I'm just going to stick with Shade for a bit ok? I kinda said I would..." He admitted with a slight smile, looking almost embarrassed "See ya around!" Slick chimed before making it to his purple companions side. The moon was out and it seemed to peaceful... small amounts of chirping crickets as the group made there way into the woods. "Wow... the nights really pretty..." He mumbled to himself, getting lost a little in his thoughts, forgetting about the special somepony beside him until a slight brush of her tail reminded him "Oh! Shade... you ok tonight? You look good..." He laughed a bit, stop being so nervous! He told himself, shaking his head a little "You erm... do something different with your mane?" He asked, not really sure what to say. Your such a fool Slick... it's been all of a couple of minutes... what do you mean something with her mane!? (Sorry guys, been swamped with shiz, should be ok now though! ^w^)

    It was nice and cool that night... not too cold not hot or humid... just a little cool, though some ponies might find it a little colder than Slick did... his mother did always complain about how he never wore a jacket even when it was freezing. Broken was up by the window waiting for the fillies to get sorted so Slick decided he would just stick with Knight and this other pony from the drowning earlier... he still didn't know his name!! Slick walked straight up to him and before he could open his mouth there was a nice scream from a familiar filly to keep him on his toes.... oh that Shade... he thought with a small grin, going back to the scarred pony "[colour=#006400]Hey, I know you we're busy before but I never got your name bro[/colour]!" He whispered with a grin, holding out a hoof "[colour=#006400]Names Slick, but I think I told you that[/colour]" he added, since the incident the scarred pony and Knight had really hit it off so a friend of Knights was a friend of his... oh that's right! Knight! "[colour=#006400]Oh and Knight.... I'm sorry I made you upset earlier... I didn't want to hurt you and I know I came off mad... we still bros?[/colour]" He asked Knight, looking then back and forth between the two colts "[colour=#006400]Us three? We all bros? Like the three Coltateers![/colour]" He laughed, trying to keep as quiet as possible. The just as he had finished talking Shade popped out the window! Great!

    Slick didn't manage to hear the commotion going on... must have blanked out a bit, that happened sometimes but as soon as he realized petals was no longer in the room he jumped up and and made his way to the window... hmmm... did he open it before? Probably, he was more prepared to leave than he thought! Slick slipped through the window and kind of lost grip, tumbling out rump first but landing on an object that was softer than the ground... only when slick look down did he see he had landed on Knight! He quickly got off his friend and helped him get up "[colour=#006400]Sorry Knight![/colour]" He whispered with a smile, managing to see the symbol on his flank "[colour=#006400]hey! Did you get your mark!? When did that happen!?[/colour]" He asked, giving it a closer inspection "[colour=#006400]It's really cool![/colour]" He laughed, still trying to stay quiet "[colour=#006400]You guys heading over to the filly cabin too? I have to go and see Shade atleast but it'd be awesome to all go and do something[/colour]" Slick said enthusiastically, everything was just so exciting right now, sneaking out, his first kiss, Knights mark, how could the night get even better!?

    Derpy couldn't help but blush in embarrassment at Times words, thinking about what he said a little... a place where ponies like me are special!? Even important!? She thought, not really sure what to say, she trailed her hoof on the floor a bit, not looking at Time "Sorry... I didn't mean to shout..." she said to him, looking over at the commotion coming from the door, listening to the changeling explain what will happen with the key "Then shouldn't we tell them!? They could get hurt!" She protested, not really sure about going near the key that could take a ponies head off.

    Derpy pulled herself back up from the floor and looked over at the door, the changeling seemed to have it covered so she decided it was time to ask that stallion what was going on, especially earlier when he insulted her! She stormed up to him and thwacked his nose with her hoof, doing her best to have a convincing scowl "While those two are doing there thing what the hay was that on about earlier!? That was really mean!" She yelled, her eye trailing off to make her speech a little less convincing.

    wow... WOW .... WOOOW That was an experience, one minute he had hooves round his neck and the next the hooves were still there! It's just Slick also happened to have Shades lips to his... Sweet Celestia! As Shade retreated into her cabin Slick found himself just standing there, wide eyed and dropped jaw in the early night, nothing moving about him except for when the wind picked up a bit. It had been at least a minute or two before he could bring himself to move again, and that was only because the teacher was about to make her way into the fillies cabin and wanted to know what the hay was going on, at least that's what her expression told her. "[colour=#006400]I... I got my first kiss miss!![/colour]" He managed to squeak out, he head to tell somepony and half the guys wouldn't care... He gave the teacher a wide grin, who was still just standing there, probably waiting for him to get his hide into the cabin, so Slick made his way inside, a certain spring in his step. There were a few ponies standing around, something to do with some escape plan but Slick had his escape window and didn't really need a plan. So Slick lay back... waaay back, you could do that when you lay on the bed sideways, let all your hooves dangle off the edge with your head, much funner than normal sleep. He just lay there a small while, slapping his own face... it hurt... so this was all real... funny that. But now time to wait for the teacher so he can see his beloved again... felt like a year....

    (([colour=#282828]"Hey guys cabin checks in ten, we have to be in bed by then." HAH! RHYME!!! I see what you did thar!))[/colour] OH THANK SWEET SWEET CELESTIA! Shade had calmed down and was actually in a good mood now! Well by the look of things, especially being called 'the best' seemed to show that he had managed to do a good job! As Slick felt Shades tail run along his side he snickered a little, having to try hard not to burst into laughter, but he did as he was told, walking close to shade as the two made there way back to the cabins. They arrived out the front of the fillies cabin and Slick stopped, standing infront of his new special somepony with a grin that reached from ear to ear "[colour=#006400]So! I guess I'l see you in a bit?[/colour]" He asked with a smile, feeling a shiver go through his body, was it the cold? Or was it just that feeling he got whenever Slick looked into her beaming red eyes... she was soo cute! Slick trailed his hoof in the dirt a little, not really sure what to say, why did he let him self get lost in her eyes!? "[colour=#006400]I really hope Pocket's going to be ok... I don't want to be the reason you two fight or anything... but if you need anything I'm right here ok? Whenever you need it... I'm here[/colour]" He said with a small smile, just standing there awkwardly with a blush, just waiting for her to say goodbye before taking his leave

    Derpy almost dies from laughter at the thought of her being able to 'summon a magic key-sword', managing to half choke on the muffin she was eating "Me!? Able to summon a maaaaagical sword!? Your crazy aren't you!?" She asked as she hit the floor after falling from the seat, hearing a loud bang as she did... but it wasn't the sound coming from her... was it... the door? "Hey... you two... are you expecting somepony Mask?" She asked, looking over at the door as she lay on the floor "I think somepony knocked...."

    Slick made his way over to Shade with a hurt expression, he couldn't help but feel responsible for Pocket running off... it was him that had put Shade to it "[colour=#006400]Hey... it's ok Shade... you did nothing wrong[/colour]" He said with a small but warm smile [colour=#800080]"..I talked to Pocket about how I feel about everything.. She said it was okay if it's how I feel, but I know it really hurt her.. She went THAT way somewhere and I'm worried." [/colour]Oh boy... that made Slick feel even worse... but all he could do was comfort Shade and as she mentioned which way Pocket had gone Slick could see Gear on the case "[colour=#006400]Gears gone to get her Shade it's ok, he's a good guy and if anypony could get her back it's him[/colour]" He reassured as Gear disappeared from vision [colour=#800080]"It's [/colour][colour=#800080]really [/colour][colour=#800080]getting cold out here.." [/colour]He heard Shade whimper, poor thing... she's so worried about Pocket... Slick did all he could and gave Shade a warm hug, holding her tight "[colour=#006400]There ya go! Nice and warm[/colour]" He smiled at her, brushing her mane to keep her reassured "[colour=#006400]Now even though it is an amazing night maybe we should head back to the cabins? I'l sneak over once inspections done ok? Just keep an eye on your window[/colour]" He smiled as he started to lead Shade "[colour=#006400]Pocket will be fine, she'll find somepony else... and it's not your fault... it's mine... so don't feel so bad[/colour]" Slick commented as he held his forced smile. He really hoped Gear could sort this out...

    Derpy heard her name pop up while she ate and the odd stallion was looking down at her on the couch. She wasn't really listening to the previous conversation and was confused as to why she had now become the subject "Huh?... what... what did I do this time?" She asked as she sat herself up, looking around the room "I didn't black out and break something did I?" She asked as she finished off yet another muffin "Oh I so sorry..."

    All of us from what I understand. Unless people want to drop off of the rp then I guess they can there. Star is still trying to think of a reason why the teacher would leave so many ponies behind but my bet right now is that her and the bus driver could be drunk xD But hey, if any of youzes get any ideas flick them over to her, I bet she will apreciate it!

You never were sleeping... as soon as you pulled that other colt to the surface you fell unconscious... you weren't breathing bro... Violet was so worried and thought you were going to die! We all did! I had to do CPR to bring you back! That includes the... Mouth to mouth...[/colour]" he trailed off, not looking to proud that he had practically kissed Knight "[colour=#006400]Then you're going round here like your a big hero when you and him are both as stupid as eachother just... just calm it down... Violet seemed super worried because if you ask me she really has a thing for you... If I were you I'd get my sorry hide in there with her and have a nice talk... make her feel better bro! And don't give me any of that 'but she's a filly' stuff either![/colour]" With that Slick let out a small sigh, at least he had gotten it out of his system with that rather long rant... Guess he should check up on his hopefully soon to be special somepony too. He turned the corner to look down onto the beach just in time to see Pocket running off in tears... oh boy... this obviously didn't go well. Slick started his way down the beach, maybe he could at least be there for Shade if she wasn't feeling too good.

    Derpy had already heard the story and the two others seemed to be pretty calm so she took another muffin and ate it as she lay of the couch, little bite by bite she took and every now and then letting out a "hmm..." as she found a clump of chocolate chips... why was muffin eating not a job?

    Slick just stood there, a little confused... had he said something wrong? One minute he was just here with two mates and now he was alone? Hm... well they probably had something important to get to and it was getting dark after all. Slick decided to wonder over to the cabins, thinking about going in and getting some shut eye before he snuck out the window and into the fillies cabin after the teacher had inspected. But that was pretty boring and Slick didn't really feel like sleeping right now... And what was all this with Knight? Suddenly acting all uppity now he had saved that scarred colt who wouldn't give him a name, where was the thanks for Slick saving him? Well... it would come in time, but taking a peak into the fillies cabin Slick could see Violet hadn't been given any notice... darn it Knight... Slick made his way over to his friend as he was heading into the colts cabin and turned him round to face Slick "[colour=#006400]Hey Knight... could you go and say something to Violet? For her sake? She was so worried when you were passed out and she didn't know you were going to live... she was in tears... could you just... let her know your ok? For me bro?[/colour]" He asked, Slick didn't want to see Violet hurt and she obviously felt for Knight... to bad he was as blind as an old mule.

    Everything had seemed to calm down for now... thank Celestia... Derpy slowly pulled herself away from the newly arrived stallion and sat back over on the couch, watching to see what would happen next "I'm Derpy!" She said proudly with a grin "Derpy Hooves! Resident mail mare of Ponyville!" She loved that title, it meant that she was responsible for something, all the mail on Ponyville, it gave her a sense of belonging which she didn't get to feel often.
