ShadeLychan has been banned for griefing. While viewing her inventory she had the following: 8 diamond blocks, which have been showing up missing over the last few days, and a few this morning as well 64+6 diamonds, which is the equivalent of 8 more diamond blocks 64+58 bread, which is the equivalent of 366 wheat 64+61 iron bars, which is the equivalent of 15 iron blocks 14 gold ore, 7 gold blocks which went missing from the tower yesterday 64 gold bars, which is the equivalent of 8 gold blocks 17 lapis lazuli blocks, 24 lapis lazuli ore 35 iron ore, and even more than that in other materials. If she wishes to appeal her case she may do so here, but I am resolute that the cause of the griefing has been ShadeLychan. That much stuff is hard to get any other legitimite way.

The Forbidden Skylands A new adventure comes to Equestria and ponyville called "The Forbidden Skylands" Almost overnight a portal appeared over ponyville and leads to mysterious places yet unexplored by ponykind. Ponyville Scientists have been doing research on the portal, and they've concluded the following: The gravity in The Forbidden Skylands is five times higher than in Equestria, meaning that flight is impossible. ( This means anyone caught flying in the skylands will receive a 12 hour kick. ) [*]The Forbidden Skylands have more dangerous residents than Equestria, and it will be harder to survive there. ( The difficulty has been set to hard. ) [*]The Forbidden Skylands has no portal back to Equestria, so once you enter you may never return. ( Use of the /home command is forbidden in the Skylands. ) [*]The Forbidden Skylands has a protective mechanism to protect itself from other dimensions, which causes items worn from other dimensions to disintegrate upon entering the portal. ( To the distain of one ponyville scientist who stuck his favorite scanner through the portal. ) ( No equipment can be taken into The Forbidden Skylands from Equestria, And no equipment may be taken back from the Skylands to Equestria. Store your equipment before entering the portal. ) Runic Magic Ponyville Magicians have also concluded that a new type of magic has become recently active in Equestria, manifesting itself in Canterlot and in Ponyville In the form of teleporters. While this magic is active in both Equestria and The Forbidden Skylands, The latter is a dead magic area. Only Runic magic may be used there. The spells which can be used are assembled through runes placed into the ground and then activated with a tool. Though ponyville Magicians are still discovering which blocks will create which effects, they have been kind enough to release some of their research spells that might aid ponies brave enough to cross into The Forbidden Skylands. The Magicians say that most runes have a 5x5 area they use, Creating a cross with cobblestone in the center, and redstone wire connecting the outside cobblestone, and a redstone torch in the center cobblestone creates a mound of dirt which can be used to create a shelter! Amazing!

Minecraft Contest time! So here's the deal. I happen to have one heavily enchanted diamond sword, and Ponyville at the moment needs more buildings, as it seems quite empty. The person who builds the most impressive structure wins 1x Heavily Enchanted ( Level 50 ) Diamond sword, as well as the gratitude of the ponies who frequent the server. Judging will be done by myself, based upon criteria I will loosely outline below. Buildings must fit the theme. ( Ponyville Construction, Non-canon buildings ) Structures must be built of primarily wood, glass, or colored wool. Materials must be gathered by yourself. ( No outside materials can be used. ) Buildings for the contest must be marked with a block of red wool ontop of a post outside the building with a sign on it, showing your forum name and minecraft name. This means only Canterlot registered users can apply for the contest. [*]Buildings must contain furnishings of some sort. Redstone use is optional, but encouraged. The Prize Diamond Sword Sharpness IV Fire-Aspect II Knockback II Beyond that, anything goes. Don't hesitate to build something really impressive to wow me. The best structure wins. I change the server as necessary to be able to get all the ponies on there. I'll go ahead and raise it up to 8 again now.

Alright, I've managed to get the 1.1 snapshot working. So everyone should be able to update to 1.1 for now.

That's the message it gives you? Sounds like its just taking a long time for you to log in so its disconnecting you. Try upgrading to 1.1 then using the patch to downgrade back down to 1.0. The Chai Mare is his little cafe in Canterlot.

I don't recall turning off flying.. Strange..

Its a common bug for people using version 1.0.1 when there's a new version available for download. Just ignore it until I can get the server running on 1.1.0

We already have enough wool. I gave Bramble about 50 stacks of white wool, and a stack or more of each colored wool.

Once the 1.1 version of CraftBukkit comes out I'll be updating the server. Until then I'd recommend not updating your client if you want to play on the server.

Or you could create one of your own.
