Psyad chuckled, [colour=#A52A2A]"Careful who you boss Recon..." [/colour] [colour=#000000]She jumped from her perch in the way a cat would jump from a shelf. She glided a short distance until she was directly above the building and threw herself into a dive-bomb. Psyad penetrated the cloud roof with little effort, and extended her wings a few seconds before she hit the ground and glided directly into a Shadowbolt that was advancing on Cloud Dasher. Psyad chuckled again from where she stood on the unconscious pony's back, tilting her head, [/colour][colour=#A52A2A]"Looks like you could use some help?"[/colour] She took off again as another Shadowbolt lunged for her. Psyad flicked her tail in annoyance before tapping the side of her visor, angling the gun-like device on the side of her armor down at her opponent, [colour=#A52A2A]"Down boy!" [/colour]She said as a bolt of electricity shot from the barrel, striking the Shadowbolt squarely in the chest. Psyad would have preferred to stay on her cloud and provide covering fire, but with her allies being in a building, that was a luxury she couldn't afford. /)*(\ Shimmer grunted as she was knocked back by a kick to the head. She shook her head to clear her vision, keeping herself in a ready stance as the offending Shadowbolt lunged for her, a re-purposed Weather tool held in his mouth to strike her. Shimmer realized she wouldn't have time to react, her vision was still blurred, and her mask ability was still recharging from the last time she used it. She braced herself for the impact of the tool, but instead saw the Shadowbolt struck by a stallion wearing the armor of a Sky Raptor Enforcer, who turned to face the other Shadowbolts and fired a scattering blast of electricity from the device attached to his armor. Another Sky Raptor landed beside her, [colour=silver]"We're here to assist. Enforcer Gallium,"[/colour] [colour=#000000]he gestured to the Raptor firing at the horde, and then to himself, [/colour][colour=silver]"And Barrager Alkaline of Flight 04, Ensis Squadron."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Shimmer nodded, her vision finally reasserting itself, [/colour][colour=#696969]"Glad to you guys are here. What about everyone else?"[/colour] [colour=#000000]Alkaline turned to face the horde and fired a few bursts into them as he responded, [/colour][colour=#CCCCCC]"The rest of Flight 04 have split up to assist the rest of the SERS operatives in the city. The rest of Ensis squadron are inbound."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Shimmer nodded and dashed into an oncoming Shadowbolt as Alkaline turned and continued to fire. She sighed slightly with relief, [/colour][colour=#696969]"Thank Celestia they're coming, things are a lot worse here than we thought."[/colour] [colour=#000000]/)*(\[/colour] Carmus landed a short distance away from where Velocity stood, panting lightly as he gazed at the moon. He looked down at Carmus when arrived, and he laughed, saying, [colour=#DAA520]"Brother! You missed it all! It was a lot of fun," he chuckles in a sadistic manner, "I think I even heard one of them refer to me as 'Demon'. Strange, isn't it?" [/colour][colour=#000000]Velocity pushes his mask up, his goldenrod eyes now tinted with a red tone,[/colour][colour=#DAA520] "I thought of them as the demons. But I suppose that means I am one now, doesn't it?" [/colour] [colour=#000000]Carmus growled as Velocity charged him, head lowered as if to spear him. Carmus dodges, clipping his brother with the electrified armor on his wings. With little effect. Velocity stumbles, turning to face his brother as he skids to a stop. Carmus was already charging him again. He threw himself around, angling his hind hooves to kick his brother's head. He connected, sending Velocity to the ground and his helmet off his head. Carmus lands, looking from his unconscious brother to the Shadowbolts that arrived during their short fight. He sighed, lowering himself into a combat ready stance. The Shadowbolts charged and he dodged, picking them off one or two at a time.[/colour] [colour=#000000]This went on for a few minutes before [/colour][colour=#000000]Carmus landed in front of Velocity's still form, panting heavily. The Shadowbolts were pushing their assault towards him when Shrike and Sagebrush landed in front of him, shockwaving the energy from their gems in an area-of-effect manner. The advancing Pegasi were incapacitated and those that weren't scattered, not expecting their arrival. Carmus laughed in a breathless manner, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"You guys are becoming a little to convenient with your timing."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Shrike salutes him, [/colour][colour=#40e0d0]"We can refrain from doing so if you want us to Captain."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Carmus shook his head, motioning for Sagebrush to revive Velocity, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"What happened to your other trooper?"[/colour] [colour=#006400]"The corrupted him." [/colour][colour=#000000]Sagebrush said simply, [/colour][colour=#006400]"I'm assuming that's what happened to Sentinel Velocity here?"[/colour] [colour=#000000]Carmus nodded, watching silently as she fished a vial from the saddlepack on her armor, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"Yes."[/colour] [colour=#40E0D0]"So just why are you trying to revive him then?" [/colour]Shrike asked, tilting his head, [colour=#40e0d0]"Won't he just try killing us?"[/colour] [colour=#B22222]"No. If the reports are to be believed, and from what I saw, fully corrupted Pegasi's eyes are completely red. His were only partially."[/colour] [colour=#006400]"Whatever you say Cap..."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Velocity came to with a start as Sagebrush dripped the contents of the vile onto his nose. He glanced around in confusion before standing up swiftly, stumbling slightly, [/colour][colour=#daa520]"What?! Where'd they go?!"[/colour] [colour=#B22222]"Long story." [/colour][colour=#000000]Carmus said, handing him his helmet[/colour]. [colour=#40E0D0]"We have to move. We left our area because it was overrun, and they won't be far behind us. Not to mention those we scared off are probably regrouping as we speak!"[/colour] [colour=#000000]Carmus nodded, taking flight. Velocity slipped his helmet on and pushed the mask down, taking off after his brother. Sagebrush and Shrike followed them, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"The rest of Ensis Squadron should be arriving soon. We'll group up with the main force and get our orders there! Two feels inducing songs came onto my music playlist at work this morning and I thought up an epic death scene involving Velocity /)*(\ True to Carmus word, many sounds akin to thunder sounded above Cloudsdale. Shortly after, multiple impacts complemented by shock-waves of energy rippled across the city. Several of them occurred within the immediate area of the Changeling and Shadowbolt hordes. Commander Jet-Stream, alongside Flight 01 and part of 02 accompanying him, looked out over them, "Well now. I hear you guys have been causing heaps of trouble for my kingdom!" He shouted, partially looking to Chrysalis as he did, "We don't appreciate that very much." ~*~ A mare wearing a very light version of the Raptor armor flew up to Flashbomb, [colour=#800080]"I am Medical Officer Reginae of Flight 01, Ensis Squadron. Are you hurt in any way?" [/colour][colour=#000000]She asked, glancing over him.[/colour] ~*~ Psyad smiled broadly as she heard the sounds of the rest of Ensis Squadron arriving, [colour=#a52a2a]"Oooh! Backup's here! Awesome!" [/colour] [colour=#000000]She shot another advancing Shadowbolt, shouting to Cloud Dasher, [/colour][colour=#a52a2a]"This is so much fun! How many have you got so far?!"[/colour] (The lightning firearms used by the Raptors rely on the enchanted gems as an ammunition source, drawing power from them. When the gems are depleted, the firearms are rendered useless until the gems are replaced. They can work as lethal or non-lethal weapons depending on the situation. Psyad's is sort of like a sniper, going with her being a Sighter, which are advance scouts and snipers of the Raptors. Enforcers are sort of like engineers, and use shotgun like firearms. Barragers use burst firing or fully auto rifles, and are basic infantrymen.)

Velocity had been trying to gleen information from a mare when the Pegasi began turning. He threw himself into the air as he heard Flash shouting into the comms. He focused hard, erecting a force field around himself and his siblings, shielding them from the blast. When it passed, he lowered the fields, his armor slowly regenerating the energy used to make them. Velocity looked ahead of him into the dust. His mask picked up absolute thousands of life signals, but they were all corrupt. The shapes were those of Pegasi, but they were no longer blue. Rather they were an almost sickly purple tinted red. Velocity lowered himself into a combat stance as a group charged him, a sadistic grin on his face, "It's about time I got some fun..." He said, his voice nearly a growl as he dashed forward to meet his opponents head on, using the shield-like pauldrons of his armor to push the first four back into their comrades, smacking the fifth with the flat of his horned helmet. Cloud Dasher shouted for him and Shimmer to get to them, that they were missing all the fun. He chuckled darkly into the comms as he fought, the chuckle slowly growing into a full blown laugh, heavily strained with malice as he shouted, "Missing all the fun?! This is the most fun I've had in years!!!" He felt attacks glancing off his armor, which only added to his mirth, "Keeping count are we? Sounds like a good challenge!" Shimmer flinched slightly as she saw the beam make for Cloudsdale, but she was protected by a force field she'd come to know as Velocity's. She checked her mask's tags. Her brothers, Cloud and Flash were all still alive. Carmus had sent out a signal around the time the beam was fired, but she couldn't tell what it had been. Shimmer looked around, seeing exactly what Velocity had. A group of ten charged her, and she lifted herself into the air, her lightning blades extending from her foreleg armor. A flight (6) of Pegasi launched themselves into the air and charged her. She waited till they were close and activated her armor ability. She smiled with satisfaction as she darted forward, electrocuting the six ponies into submission, as well as the next three behind them in the blink of an eye. The HUD beeped, letting her know the ability was depleted and had to recharge. Shikmer threw herself back into the air, fending off another Shadowbolt as she did. She could hear Velocity laughing over the comms, and she grew worried. Her brother had a dark side that was brought out by serious combat. And on top of that he felt challenged. This was not king to end well at all. Carmus sent a comm alert to the nearest flight of Raptors as soon as he saw the Pegasi acting up, and the beam fire for the city. When the force field dissipated, he took in his surroundings in a quick glance. There were innumerable glowing eyes around him. Carmus sighed, "So these are the Shadowbolts then?" He asked, "Well? What are you waiting for?! Come on then!!" He challenged them. Instantly ten of them bum-rushed him, and he threw himself into the sky, looping around and shooting himself directly into their sides, knocking three out of the sky. He twisted and flew off in the opposite direction, the seven remaining Shadowbolts, as well as another ten of their companions that hadn't attacked took chase. Carmus changed his trajectory and flew back last them, wings held flat, the armor plating covering the edges crackling with energy. He flew slightly above them, flapping his wings as soon as he was above them. The energy discharged itself from his armor, sending a shockwave directly into the 17 Pegasi beneath him, a distinctive sound reflective to a deep bass drop sounding as they tumbled from the sky. Carmus landed, compartments on the flanks of his armor sliding open and ejecting a smoking blue gem each. He took off again as another two Shadowbolts lunged for him. He brought himself crashing down into the one, but was bucked in the side by her larger companion. Carmus picked himself up and sighed as more Shadowbolts surrounded him, both on the ground and in the air. He looked at all of them threw the tinted glass of his visor, smirking somewhat, "You guys going to wait all day?" He looked up, "Because you don't have that long." As he finished and the Shadowbolts began to charge, six streaks of colour slamme ino them, three of them ejecting an electrical pulse much like Carmus had as they hit. As the Shadowbolts that were struck tumbled, to the ground, six Pegasi clad in the red, white and black armor of the Sky Raptors touched down around him, three of them ejecting smoking gems from their armor. Carmus looked at them through his visor, "Took your sweet time getting here." He said in a matter-of-fact deadpan. One of the Raptors tossed him and the other three replacement gems - which they inserted into their armor - and then saluted, "Captain Carmus. We came as soon as we could upon recoeving your transmission. Sergeant Shrike at your command." Carmus nodded to Shrike as the other Raptors set up a small perimeter around them, "Very good. There are four other operatives in the city to my knowledge. I want your flight to give them any assistance they may need. They are spread out three different locations. One in the eastern district, near the Weather Factory. Two are together in the southern district, near the Arrival Station. I will help my brother Velocity in the western district, near the Arena. I want you to keep two of your troops here with you, and divide the remainder of your flight among the rest, make sure that each is a group of three." Shrike nodded and barked to his troops through the comms, "Gallium, Alkaline! You two cover the SERS operative in the Weather District!" Two stallions with identical silvery steel coats took off in Shimmer's direction as Shrike continued, "Psyad (Sigh-add)! Go assist the SERS operatives in the Arrival district!" A dusty coated mare took off in the direction of Flashbomb and Cloud Dasher on the command. Carmus shot off in the direction of Velocity, barking into the comms, "Keep the channel open, and stay alive! I'll see what I can do to contact the Commander! Aut Vincere Aut Mors!" Shrike and his Flight repeated the last sentence back to Carmus as they went to their assignments. Shrike looked at his two remaining soldiers, a large basalt stallion named Torque and and a mint green mare named Sagebrush. He smiled behind his visor as the three of them began to fight off the Shadowbolts. /)*(\ When Psyad got to the Arrival District, she landed on a cloud a decent distance above the conflict, looking down on the scene below. She blinked her cerulean blue eyes and looked around for anypony resembling a SERS operative. She was often credited as having some of the best eyes of Ensis Squadron, the one assigned to training the SERS. Psyad made an irritated face when she caught no sight of who she was looking for, and spoke quietly into the comms, not sure if Flashbomb and Cloud Dasher were on her frequency or not, "Hey, you guys alive down there? I'm not seeing you. This is Designated Sighter Psyad, Flight 04 of Sky Raptor Ensis Squadron. Any SERS operatives in that Pit of Tartarus?" (OOC: Sky Raptors use enchanted gems as power sources in their armor, something they adopted from spending a large amount of time in Zebrica. The gems are an energy source that lasts slightly longer than more conventional once, but are not rechargeable without the proper knowledge and time. If they are overloaded as Carmus and Shrike's Flight demonstrated, they are depleted instantly and need to be replaced if the Raptor wishes to continue using his weaponry. "Aut Vincere Aut Mors" means "Win or Die".)

(Oh my goodness I missed so much) Carmus and his two siblings hovered over Cloudsdale shortly after Flash and Cloud arrived. Shimmer scanned the area and tagged them on her HUD, "That's Flash and Cloud down there." Carmus nodded, "They should have this place taken care of. Come on you two, we'll spread out and cover the rest of the city. Velocity, go right, Shimmer left. I'll go straight. Keep in contact and let each other know is something goes south." "Got it!" Velocity said and shot off to the side, landing with a light dent in the clouds, scanning the area with his HUD. Shimmer did the same on her end. Carmus landed, pushing the dark visor from his eyes and tapping the side of his helmet, turning on the communicator attached to his sibling's masks, "Remember to look for any suspicious behavior. I have a bad feeling about this place."

Carmus looked mildly disconcerted at the rapid motion of events. He nodded to those speaking to him, only partially hearing them. Shimmer smiled and chuckle herself at Angel's remark. Velocity glanced at his brother after everyone had past. Carmus armor was a lighter version of his own, and had a very streamlined design. It was built to allow him to pull off incredibly agile maneuvers at high speeds, while still offering decent protection. It bore two emblems, on the chest, and a third on either shoulder. The chest emblems consisted of the striking talon insignia of the Raptors on the left, and the SERS logo on the right. Velocity looked at his brother's exp<b></b>ression, "What's the problem Carmus?" Shimmer looked at both he older brothers, one eyebrow raised as Carmus shrugged, "Something doesn't feel right to me," he began trotting away, towards the exits, pushing the metal and glass visor of his helmet down (it's supposed to resemble a pilot's helmet) , "Come on you two. We're going to help investigate whatever is going on in Cloudsdale." Shimmer and Velocity nodded and followed their brother out, sliding their masks down as the went. In the past two years their armor had undergone a few changes. It still bore the same Twilight Sparkle themed colour scheme, and extra golden accents as it had two years ago, but had aesthetical and practical design differences, as well as two new emblems alongside the old Twilight based one. The two new emblems were the SERS logo on the right, the Twilight mark in the chest, and the mark of their rank of Sentinel - one pair of wings curled in a circle as if a shield, with another pair outstretched as if in flight directly behind the first. Velocity's armor was designed to allow him to withstand a large amount of damage or force, and his mask's ability proved to be a defensive one, allowing him to generate a several differently sized force fields. The larger the force field, the shorter it lasted. He was capable of focusing the magic in a single area to act as a shield. Shimmer's armor was lighter than both of her brother's, but not quite as streamlined as Carmus', to accommodate her smaller frame than theirs, as well as her method of combat, which involved the use of electrified blades attached to her foreleg armor. Her mask ability was the offensive based one, which heightened her reflexes to the point where time seemed to be moving slower for her, and raise her speed to twice it's precious, allowing her to dodge and counterattack easier, or cover a certain distance incredibly quickly.

(Ruttin' mobile devices and their troublesome habits)

"Hello again." Velocity smiled "This is our Captain Carnus, our older brother." Shimmer said, gesturing he head towards the brother in question. Carmus nodded to her again, "But don't worry, I'll still stay out of your stuff." He said with a friendly smirk. When Dawn came rushing over, the three siblings turned to her, Carmus asking, "We can provide whatever assistance you need. What is it?!"

"Hello again." Velocity smiled "This is our Captain Carnus, our older brother." Shimmer said, gesturing he head towards the brother in question. Carmus nodded to her again, "But don't worry, I'll still stay out of your stuff." He said with a friendly smirk

Shimmer nodded to Cloud Dasher as she passed, Velocity doing the same with a friendly smile. Carmus gave her a jokingly ironic salute in greeting. After she passed he leaned heavily on his little brother, a smug look on his face. Velocity shook his head and pushed his brother off. Shimmer sighed laughing softly, [colour=#696969]"You guys are idiots."[/colour]

[colour=#b22222]"They'd be proud of you guys you know."[/colour] [colour=#696969]"And what makes you say that?"[/colour] [colour=#b22222]"Many things. One, you're their children. Two, you helped found and train one of the most elite teams in the Equestrian Military. Three, you guys are [/colour]the[colour=#b22222] personal guards of a Princess. Her 'Sentinels'. I like to think that Celestia deliberately named that rank."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Velocity and Shimmer's brother, Carmus, poked both of them in their armored chests, right on one of the three small emblems, the one of Twilight's cutie mark, grinning, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"And that, dear children, is why they'd be proud of you."[/colour] [colour=#000000]He chuckles slightly. The three siblings were standing in a small circle like formation outside of the SERS barracks. Carmus smirked, narrowing his cobalt blue eyes, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"[/colour][colour=#b22222]But you know... There is one more thing you guys could do that would make them even more proud of you..."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Velocity raised an eyebrow at that, [/colour][colour=#daa520]"Care to explain just what that might be?"[/colour] [colour=#000000]Carmus' smirk grew, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"Well, for one thing you guys could try and find yourselves a special somepony."[/colour] Shimmer rolled her eyes, [colour=#696969]"Really Carmus? I don't know if I could find a place for girlfriend duty in the mix with my guard responsibilities, and Velocity's to childish sometimes."[/colour] [colour=#DAA520]"First off Shim, I resent that, despite the truth in it. But she is right Carmus, do we really need to talk about this now? You really don't have room to criticize us on this anyway! You're older than both of us and you still haven't found yourself a mare!"[/colour] [colour=#b22222]"I've been on tour for the past few years guys, I didn't really have time to! And there is nothing else to discuss!"[/colour] Carmus' normally low voice rose to a comical pitch at that last sentence. He caught himself and got his voice back under control, [colour=#b22222]"The Commander and [/colour][colour=#b22222]I have been coming here on and off for the past two years to help you guys train the SERS. We've talked about everything."[/colour] [colour=#000000]*Drell, who'd been toying with a twig a few steps away from the Pegasi siblings, fluttered over, throwing the stick at Carmus' helmeted head, [/colour][colour=#006400]"Spitfire. Not talked about her!" [/colour][colour=#000000]He said haltingly, imitating Carmus' voice.[/colour] [colour=#000000]Carmus looked at him in disbelief, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"First off, did he just throw a stick at me? And second, since when could he talk?!"[/colour] [colour=#000000]Shimmer shrugged, [/colour][colour=#696969]"Since two years ago. He just kinda started, we don't know how he learned."[/colour][colour=#000000] Her ice blue eyes narrowed. Now it was her turn to smirk, [/colour][colour=#696969]"But he has got a point... We haven't discussed the topic of you and the Wonderbolt Captain yet..."[/colour] [colour=#000000]Carmus sighed, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"You guys have an overly intelligent bird that can talk. Now nothing I say is sacred." [/colour][colour=#000000]He shakes his head slightly, purposely causing his helmet's visor to fall across his face, which had begun to take on a noticeable darker shade of red than normal, [/colour][colour=#b22222]"I don't know what you're talking about." [/colour][colour=#000000]*[/colour] [colour=#000000](OOC: I placed that last bit in asterisks since I wasn't sure if that headcanon bit carried over. So if it didn't, ignore that last bit of text.[/colour] [colour=#000000]I haven't finished my mental designing of the Sky Raptor's armor yet, but I can say that it's the same colour scheme and design as the USAF Thunderbird's.)[/colour]

Velocity chuckled and hit Gadget lightly on the shoulder in a friendly sort of way, [colour=#daa520]"Yeah! And maybe this time I won'[/colour][colour=#DAA520]t send myself barreling into the ground." [/colour][colour=#000000]He stated that last bit in a matter-of-fact way, then chuckled again, [/colour][colour=#daa520]"Either way, I'm looking forward to the days ahead. Oh hey! There you are Shimmer! Guess what? We, alongside the Raptors, get to train everyone. They're coming to Canterlot for that, so we'll have to head outside to load up and head out." [/colour] [colour=#000000]Shimmer, who had silently watched Sundial leave and afterwards flown to the main building where Velocity was, smiled slightly, [/colour][colour=#696969]"Really? Well then. We have our work cut out for us.." [/colour][colour=#000000]She subtly glanced at Gadget as she said this.[/colour] [colour=#DAA520]"Heck yeah we do. I'm going to send another letter to the Commander, make sure he knows to bring at least a squadron along. Maybe we can get a Unicorn to just magic it to them, since it takes a little while by bird..."[/colour][colour=#000000] Velocity's voice slowly trailed off into him talking to himself rather than his sister, who glanced once more in Gadget's direction before turning to go leave, [/colour][colour=#696969]"I'll be waiting outside."[/colour] (OOC: For reference: A squadron, by Air Force terms, is a group of 12-24 pilots, and is made up of multiple 'flights', teams of 3-6 pilots.)

Velocity shrugged, still smiling, "Aah, it's no problem! I'm honored and happy to help. 'Sides, Shimmer and I'll have a squadron of the best Military Pegasi I know helping us." After Flashbomb left, Velocity looked to the raven that was sleeping on his back and chuckled, "You've got another flight ahead of you so I can requisition that squadron."

Xukar followed along with the rest, running without speaking, though he did nod to the new pony as if to say, "The more the merrier."

Shimmer stayed with Sundial. She figured that she should probably be in the meeting, but she couldn't bring herself to leave. Velocity nodded, a very satisfied smile on his face, [colour=#daa520]"Of course Princess, it would be an honor. And I have to say, the timing of this request couldn't be more perfect. Shimmer and I recently sent a letter to Commander Jet-Stream of the Sky Raptors. Himself, alongside our brother, Captain Carmus and any of their troops we requisition, can be here within the next week. I'm sure that they'd love to help in the training as well, i[/colour][colour=#DAA520]f it is alright with you?[/colour][colour=#DAA520]"[/colour] [colour=#000000]He looks questioningly at both Celestia and Spitfire in turn. * From what he understood from Jet-Stream's stories growing up, he and Spitfire's predecessor had a small rivalry, though friendly, and would often pit themselves, alongside some Wonderbolts and Raptors, in competition. Velocity doubted that there'd be any rivalry anymore, but he would rather be safer than sorry. Fortunately his brother had been friends with Spitfire growing up, so that might stem things. *[/colour] [colour=#000000](OOC: All text placed within the asterisks (*) is my personal head canon, and therefore is optional on whether or not you accept it and incorporate it, or ignore it entirely. [/colour]Was Shimmer's reply, [colour=#696969]"I'm wish an Alicorn who says she was engaged to Gadget before, only his name was different? She says he doesn't remember her... You know anything about this?"[/colour]

Velocity shrugs slightly, "Princess Celestia wanted to see all the graduates. I'm not sure what her reason is, but I'm sure it's a good one." (OOC: I have finally come up with a rank title for the siblings that isn't an official military rank, and it's kind of obvious now that I think about it: Sentinel.)

"I see. I'll bring her along." Velocity lands, gesturing with the horn on his helmet, "I regret to inform you that you missed the ceremony. However, your presence has been requested back at the Academy's main building b, I've come to retrieve you," he pauses for a second as Drell glides over to him, perching himself on the guard's armored wing, "Oh, so that's where you ended up." He turns back to Swift Blitz, "Coming, Cadet-Graduate?"

[colour=#daa520] "Understood." [/colour][colour=#000000]Velocity responds as he rockets towards the lone Pegasus, [/colour][colour=#daa520]"Cadet Swift Blitz?"[/colour]

Awesome. I will most likely end up using Logan once again in that case. I've recently become somewhat more confident in more abilities to RP canon characters, so if need be I can take a crack at a Mane6 Should I post the app for Logan here, or pm it to you, or is it not necessary? (I'm assuming that last one is a stupid question.)

[colour=#daa520]"I think I might just do that, give the cadet a chance."[/colour][colour=#000000] Velocity shoots into the air, sweeping the area using the aura detector to locate any pegasi that might be absent from the ceremony. It isn't long before he notices one Pegasus on their own, as well as one standing with an Alicorn, though he wasn't able to tell who they were. He decided to bank towards the one that was on their own.[/colour]

(OOC: Oh shoot! Drell! Stop holding the poor girl up! You're going to ruin her future!) The bird made a noise that was hard to decipher. Drell hopped from each side a few times, unable to think of any way he could convey a coherent response with movements. Velocity made a concerned face when Swift Blitz didn't show up when her name was called. He pulled his mask down and connected to the intercom in Flash's, "[colour=#daa520]Any luck? I can run an aerial sweep of the grounds if you like." [/colour][colour=#000000]He paused, thinking for a few seconds, [/colour][colour=#daa520]"Or we could call her name with the loudspeaker, see if that gets her attention." [/colour]* [colour=#000000](* Ignore that last bit if you want to.)[/colour]

The bird complies, but looks at her face below her eyes, where tears would stream, tilting his head again. He was trying to ask her why she seemed sad, but unfortunately his charade skills were well below average, and his vocabulary was pretty limited. (OOC: I am getting major Air Force Academy vibes with the Wonderbolt graduation ceremony. This is a good thing.)

Velocity grinned, "I don't know much about Celestia's mind, but it can't be anything bad. Drell nodded his head rapidly in affirmation. He then drooped his head and brushed his wings across his face, then dragged them across the ground as he slow walked, his head still hanging. He kept up the for a few seconds before looking a her with his head tilted, making a questioning 'awk'

Velocity chuckled after Celestia left, "Summoned to an audience with Celestia? Nice." "Oooh." Shimmer said, biting her cheek, "Yeah, I know him. Sort of. He fought my brother during the crisis. How did you come to know him?" She asked. She honestly had know idea how to handle the situation, but tried her best. Drell rapidly shook his head, making an authoritative noise. He continued to make his call, and finally managed to work out the word, "Drell". Effectively his best way to introduce himself. (Sorry for the lack of posting, I haven't had much time today)
