    Rune waved to Care as he flew off. Rune shrugged, turning back to the CMC, "This is my first day here and I've already become met and befriended plenty of ponies. This is awesome!"

    Shimmer nodded, walking to the other side of her brother and helping support him as they walked. Velocity chuckled, speaking to his sister, "Wouldn't be surprised if The Captain promotes you for this little sister." He then looked Twilight, nodding partially, "Your brother'll be proud. I can tell you that." ((I was listening to music on shuffle last night when I read the comment when the battle was won, and as soon as I started this song came on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZO-LUmfowLw it fit surprisingly well. (Halo 4 OST: Arrival.)

    "Thank you." Saronyx said in his normal tone, smiling slightly, "You know, I think I might do just that."

    "These are the pains we have to endure," Saronyx said, adopting a scholarly tone, "And at the time it may make us feel absolutely miserable," he taps his hoof on the table as he finishes, "But it may just lead us somewhere in life that we will never regret."

    She shrugged, "A bit of this and that. I'm a teacher's aide at the University of Manehatten."

    Denim huffed a sigh, "Practice, work, you name it."

    "Perfection cannot be rushed. It take time and care to create a masterpiece. And if one truly cares, it'll be worth the wait."

    Saronyx spun in the air to look at her, "What?"

    Shimmer pushed herself up shakily, brushing her silver mane back, she turned to face Twilight, saluting her, "Commendable performance Ma'am." Velocity stopped after the light faded. He watched the cleansed Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust to be sure they were healed. The adrenaline drained from him, he felt his injure wing jam up and he fell to the floor, he stared at the sky, heaving a sigh, "This'll be a tale to tell, that's for sure..."

    Shimmer turned her gaze upwards at the fight between Twilight and Thunder, te dark haze still engulfing her vision. She blacked out shortly before the white light engulfed her. Velocity had been so focuses on assisting Shadow that he didn't catch the light till it was upon him.

    ((Blue, best as I can tell: Twilight is having a showdown with Thunder, Shimmer, I believe Gadget and Flash are out of the fight, as is most everpony. Shadow and Velocity (mainly Shadow ATM) are fighting Corrupt!Dash and Corrupt!Dust. I suppose you could help those two against their opponents? Somebody else can probably explain this better than me, but hey, I tried.)

    Shimmer lay on the ground, standing on the edge of consciousness from taking the hit. She watched Twilight going at Thuser through a dark haze for a few seconds before she attempted to pull herself over to Flash to check his condition.

    Rune held out his hoof for a brohoof, "Nice meeting you Hope!"

    Rune grinned addressed the entire group, "I'm so glad I met all of you! I really hope we can stay friends for a long time!"

    Denim shook her head, then brushed her mane back with a blue aura of magic. She sighed, sitting on the ground before Finny, Lief and the rest, "I need a break." She said under her breath.

    Velocity rushed to aid Shadow a fast as his wing would let him, his mind set on causing damage. Shimmer kept herself between Thunder and Twilight, the light of her flickering blades reflecting on her silvery mane. She knew if he really wanted to he could just end her, but she would take the hit if it bought Twilight the necessary time

    "Oh! They're really cool! I grew up around a whole lot of them. I kinda hope my cutie mark ends up resembling their Glyph Marks, they're really neat looking!" Rune said, brushing his auburn mane back with his magic.

    Velocity noticed the unique contrails of Rainbow and Lightning. He watched them shortly changing his trajectory to follow them. Shimmer hovered a few feet from Thunder, scanning the surrounding area briefly while she tried to make a decision.

    Saronyx apologized to the caterer, tossing her a couple bits from his saddlebags, "Sorry about the mess." ((Yeah, I'd be up for it. Sorry for responding later, I'm on a mobile device right now and will probably be a bit slower than normal)

    Rune shrugged, "Pretty good. Yourself? Oh!! Random question. Ever met a Zebra?"

    Shimmer watched Gadget in disbelief for a few seconds before she got her mind under control. She launched herself at Thunder. Her brother was doing the same, his sheer will power mixed with adrenaline allowing him to fly faster than his wing should have allowed. The siblings knew they had little chance agains the Shadowbolt leader, but that was the risk they knew they were taking when they volunteered to accompany Twilight.

    Saronyx chuckles, "I agree with you there. One of my greatest enemies being a writer who only can when he feels motivated is deadlines."

    Rune stopped spinning, a dumb grin on his face as he repeated his ritual for the third time in a row, "And I'm Rune! Pleasure to meet you!" (his ritual involves going to attention, saluting then holding out his hoof)
