    A day

    So, my day starts with me waking up. I'll get on my laptop immediately, or maybe take a shower first. No, I don't usually have any kind of breakfast at that point. So, lappy is open, and Canterlot is already up, naturally. I click on the bookmarked tab for New Content, which is always bookmarked unless I try to take a break. Generally I'll try and read Skype before I go through the board. So I check all my Notifications, maybe handle some Reports, move a new topic, delete a double post, whatever. Check Facebook, check up on another RP site, then come back to check my personal content on the board and see the discussions going on in the topics I'm in. Meanwhile I've probably got my phone open to Words With Friends or Twitter or something. Sometimes I'll turn my TV on in the afternoon and have that going in the background. Yep, always multi-tasking. Later I go to work for a couple hours, and do a bunch of random other stuff. Tumblr, Twittering, gaming, writing, walk to the store, whatevs. Average day involves a lot of Canterlot. I'm frequently check the site between whatever I'm doing. When I go place for lengthy periods, I tend to take my laptop so I can check in. Always gotta be plugged in.

    Oh my gosh. I found out today one of my co-workers is a Brony. Well, "closet Brony", as she put it.
    Here's where it began. The other day I mentioned table flip (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻, and she knew what it was. That was unusual, because who in real life knows about internet stuff? And like, an obscure meme like table flip at that. She also mentioned something about internet memes, so I got that she knew about more than just table flip.
    Then after that, I mentioned something about, "ALL THE BOOKS", because I work in the book department. Then she was like, "I want a credit card that says 'SPEND ALL THE MONEY', 'cause that's what I do anyway." I wasn't even purposely trying to mention a meme (I was actually thinking of a Twilight Sparkle comic). (The Meme she mentioned was X all the Y.)
    Today in the office, I mentioned that there was a pie in the fridge. It's been in there since Thanksgiving. Who knows why, but, we couldn't let that pie go to waste. Anyway, I guess she'd been having a rough day and this pie made her really happy.
    Now, I have a Twilight Sparkle button that I keep on my work badge, and I have for weeks. Today she noticed it while we were eating this pie, and we had a conversation along these lines:
    Her: "That's cool, where did you get it? Did you get it online?"
    Me: "Thanks. You know what it is right?"
    Her: "Ya, it's Twilight Sparkle's Cutie Mark.....I'm kind of a closet Brony."
    Me: "I got it at a convention. There was like this one booth that was selling them."
    So ya. Then she was like, "I can never catch it when it's on. I always catch it when it's like getting over."
    I told her about the online streams on Saturday's, and that she could go to DerpyHooves.com to find them. She's only seen a few episodes she said, but she's not opposed to the show. Plus, she knew what my button was.
    Knows about interwebs and is kind of a Brony? New best friend? New best friend.

    So sometime over an hour or two ago, I realized I was hungry. I thought about what I'd eaten today, and determined that it was some pizza and a slice of cake. Keeping in mind I woke up around 5PM, that would be about ten hours. Yeah so, apparently I put in a hard day's work for Canterlot, between my IRL job, Spike Application, and discussing some other matters for three hours which I shall not disclose but were staff related. That's in addition to my regular checking of the board, Notifications, Reports, PMs, etc., and reading the new posts for the day. Canterlot ate my time so I didn't eat. Whatcha gonna do?
