you know, I'm actually in Texas, so I actually never go to In-N-Out. But once I visited Phoenix and it was amazing. Fortunately, rumor has it that expansion to Dallas is coming soon.

When I explain it to others, one things I say is that the animation style is like the Powerpuff Girls. Thats usually helps them understand, because PPG is a good show tolerable for both genders and several age groups. MLP has always been a little girls show, until now. (I apologize for any males a long time fan of MLP)

Lauren Faust, the creator (also storyboard artist, executive producer, and developer), is married to THE creator of PPG. So she did some storyboard work for it, and was one of the writers and directors. So, one of the creative minds that helped make The Powerpuff Girls is the creator.

Also, fun fact, the voice actor for Bubbles is also the voice actor for Twilight Sparkle.

I'm sure they all wear their own unique scents as well, just like people do in our world. Though their scents may be more closely tied to their characters unlike in our world, so these very well could be.

The profile says ShadowMist is a Unicorn, but could you draw her as a Unicorn with some basic wings?

ShadowMist frequently travels to Canterlot, and casts a wing spell on herself like the one that Twilight casts on Rarity in Sonic Rainboom. However, the spell is not quite as complicated, therefore the wings are not as fancy. You could even just draw her with black wings to match her body, if you want.

Well, it never says how she's immortal, or just how immortal she is, that's why we're having this discussion .

I'm just saying, if she needs an energy source in order to fuel her magic to cast spells to make herself younger, the sun is pretty much an endless energy supply.

Then again since friendship IS magic, she could just feed off of happiness like some kind of overbloated emotional tick.

Yes, but to cause that kind of regeneration she would need to draw energy from an outer source, and convert it into a spell that could reverse the degeneration of her cellular structure. She logically could not do that from herself. If this was the case, she'd need some sort of well of eternity, or other object to continually renew her lifespan.

Was that stated somewhere? I never saw that. I only saw that she raised the sun. If she does do that then one could argue that she could last as long as the sun lasted.

Depending on how much magical ability one has, perhaps Celestia just uses healing spells to continually keep herself the same age. That would mean that she is as vulnerable as any other pony.

Well the problem with that is that she would still eventually fade. If she were a being of fallible flesh then she would still begin to break down over time, because she'd be subject to the laws of entropy. The healing energy would still be coming from a being who is indeed slowly perishing, so she would receive diminishing returns slowly as her spells grew weaker.It'd be like trying to fill a bucket further with the water that's already in the bucket, y'know? The water doesn't get any higher, and still evaporates over time.

She would either need to be siphoning energy from an outer source, or be immortal already.

Ya, the body breaks down over time. She would only be able to heal herself bits at a time. But, as said, depending on the type of spells available, she could perhaps use age reversal on her body.

I was watching Feeling Pinky Keen again and I suddenly had a revelation. I recall hearing somewhere that Earth Ponies were supposed to have a strong connection with the earth, plants, animals and living things in general, in the same way that pegasai have a connection with the sky and unicorns have a connection with magic.

But if you can believe that all life has an energy to it, an energy that surrounds us and binds us. Suddenly Pinkie Pie's ability to predict the future makes perfect sense. She's actually some kind of jedi master... One wonders what else she might be capable of.

I wish I had the link but I did see someone asking Lauren about the Earth ponies since Unicorns had magic and Pegasus had power over the weather. She did state that Earth ponies are especially attuned to the land and nature and that is why they focus on farming, growing, animal care-taking, and so forth. Pinky though, her ability may be entirely unique.

I think Twilight was being personally tutored by Celestia. Perhaps Celestia wanted something more to do with the Equesterian populace, so she took on a student as a side project. Also, if she is buddy-buddy with a regular member of society, it can help her see from the eyes of regular pony, someone who is among the people. She can be closer to her subjects, without intruding into their daily lives.
