But Aquaria had decided to leave and get away from this unfamiliar pony and try to get back to the ocean, stepping through the doors and eventually finding her way outside.....only to look down. 

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! Why am I up so high?! Where am I?! I wanna go home!!!"

Aquaria reeled back, obviously hesitant of the stranger.

Aquaria didn't say anything, looking away.

But having done her deed, Aquaria's shyness came back like a storm and she quickly darted to the opposite side, not saying anything.

Aquaria continued to panic, flailing and swimming around with the help of her wings but there seemed to be no way out. She was trapped. Where was she? What did this other pony want? And where were her fish friends?? 

She suddenly found her answer upon bumping into something soft....and slimy. 

A tuna!

"Coral! Marlin! Is that you?! Oh thank Celestia! Would any of you happen to know a way out of here?" she asked the creatures.

But she could see they were behaving strangely...as if trying to point something out. And while regular ponies couldn't hear it, she was picking up strange glubs and clicks that sounded worried. Aquaria had been communicating with fish and other sea animals for years and she could understand them easily. 

"What? Drowning??" she questioned, looking down to where the creatures were pointing their bodies and now her heart was skipping beats.

This might've been a pony she didn't know and had tried to get away from but Aquaria wasn't going to let an innocent pony drown! She darted down and grabbed her, flapping her wings hard to get to the surface.

But Aquaria was in too much of a panic to acknowledge the stranger outside, still screaming and flailing.

Then the stranger dove in after her!

"AAAAAH!!! Get away!!! Leave me alone!!! Don't touch me!!!" she screamed, darting away.

Down in the ocean however was a different story as another pegasus by the name of Aquaria was keeping watch of her marine animal friends, in particular a school of tuna swimming close to the surface. After warding off a shark from eating them, she decided to accompany them to their destination........

.......until she looked back and realized that some members were missing! 

"Oh no! Where'd Marlin and Coral go?! Did anyone see??" The shy mare asked in desperation.

Thankfully Aquaria could breathe water as well as air via the small sets of gills on her neck.

But right now, all she cared about was finding her missing members. 

The mare darted around, this way and that, looking frantically for the tuna when she suddenly felt a powerful current pulling her upwards towards the surface. At first she wasn't too concerned, having been caught in countless of undersea currents before but after looking up, she saw that this wasn't normal.

The current was actually extending out of the sea and up towards the sky somehow!

"What the hay?! It's pulling me up!!! Help!!!" The mare screamed, shutting her eyes tightly as she was carried up into the clouds.

I'm new to this site and I have a new character that needs a beginning. 

Basically she's an aquatic Fluttershy that needs some friends.

If anyone has any ideas on an RP setting, feel free to fire away.

Meanwhile just outside the school, a peculiar blue-ish cyan pegasus was sat by the large pool of water that seemed to surround the campus. New in town and oblivious to the large crystal structure's purpose, she foolishly decided to lower herself in, bracing her gills, which were hidden by her dark blue mane with a light blue streak, for usage. 

"I wonder if there are any fish in here...maybe a squid or two! I can't wait to find out!" the young mare said to herself before taking the plunge.

Name: Aquaria

Gender: Female

Age: Young Mare

Species: Pegasus/Seapony Hybrid

Eye color: Aquamarine

Coat: A sort of blue-ish cyan.

Mane/Tail: Deep blue with a cyan streak. Her mane is rather short and similar in appearance to that of Trixie but more drooped and wavy thanks to all her time spent in the water. Her tail is in a similar style and size.

Physique: Aquaria is obviously no Hercules with below average strength but she isn't out of shape either, able to swim much more skillfully than the average pony. She also isn't the best flyer but she can use her wings to glide through the water, making her a very powerful swimmer.

Residence: Gallopocus Islands

Occupation: N/A

Cutie Mark: An orange fish swimming by a blue heart. This represents her ability to understand marine life as well as her love for the ocean.

She earned her cutie mark as a young filly when she spotted a young whale tangled in a fishing net, apparently drowning. She bravely approached and talked the young calf down to cooperate while she untangled it. Once it was free, she accompanied it all the way to the surface as her mark appeared on her flank. It wasn't until she got home that night when her parents noticed it first.

Unique Traits: Aquaria is a powerful swimmer, able to use her wings to maneuver and swim faster. She was also born with a small set of gills on her neck, hidden by her mane, essentially allowing her to breathe underwater.

History: Aquaria's father was a racer in the Coltona 500 up in Cloudsdale who had a decent career. One day he was in the middle of one of his races when a rival crashed into him, sending him into a cloud wall and knocking him unconscious.

Aquaria's mother meanwhile was an elegant dancer of the sea, preforming underwater shows for her other seapony fans. She was out relaxing on a reef when she spotted the unconscious racer sinking to the seabed. She quickly darted over and carried him back to shore where it was love at first sight when he awoke.

A few years after being married, Aquaria was born and they were obviously shocked to learn about their hybrid daughter. Once she was old enough, her father enlisted her in flight school.....where she decided to drop out after being bullied and overall just being a poor flyer, preferring to stay on the ground close to the sea.

Character Personality: Aquaria is very shy and self-conscious about her special ability to breathe water which stems from a fillyhood of being bullied during flight school. She is somewhat difficult to open up to....unless anything about marine life and water is mentioned. Ever since she earned her cutie mark, Aquaria has been rather protective and caring for all creatures of the deep, able to push past her timid nature if she sees an animal in trouble. With the very little amount of non-fish friends she has, Aquaria doesn't like to speak up and prefers to just go with the flow of things. She also doesn't like to fly despite being a pegasus, more at home on the ground.

Character Summary: A shy water-loving pegasus-seapony hybrid that cares and protects all aquatic life.

Just...basically rp as your pony's HUMAN self and live life as a High School student at Canterlot High.
