    Alright, so I disappeared for a couple weeks and I wanted to apologize. I had some family troubles that needed to be dealt with then I didn't really feel like getting back on. But after watching the newest pony episode I realized just how much I missed my fellow bronies and I scurried back in here. I probably won't post as often as I did and I'm afraid I won't be RPing at all (again, reeeally sorry for anyone's RP I joined) as I'm trying to focus on some things in my life.
    I do have some really cool news though. Remember my earlier blog post about how I couldn't get the Canterlot toys? Target had them on clearance so I went and scooped them up. Paid for them with my own money. They're really sweet figs too. They have a great weight and a nice size. The colors are a bit wonky, particularly on Twilight who seems too purple or something. And of course pink Celestia. If I knew anything about modding figures I'd fix her paint job. Applejack's probably my favorite figure and yes, I keep Sonic on her. I'm going to try to find her a hat. Somehow.

    Anywho, I apologize again to everyone here for not showing up and stuffs. I'll be lurking in the chatroom more often though and posting in the main threads to make up for it. Until next time fellow bronies.

    A Man And His Toys

    So I was at K-Mart the other day with my family. My Mom and sis were getting shoes or some such while I was browsing the toy section for any new action figures to add to my small yet growing collection. I had gone through every aisle and had seen nothing that I would be interested in or anything that was in my budget when at the very last aisle, sitting all by its lonesome in clearance, was the MLP Gift Set. You know the one I'm talking about? It's the set that comes with Trollestia Pink Celestia, Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Spike. It wasn't really on my 'need to get' list but I saw the figures were a fairly nice size and it was going for fifteen bucks.

    Even the box is pretty nifty looking.
    So I thought, "Why the hay not?" and grabbed it before walking through the store like a boss, ignoring my little bro's mocking. I carried it all the way across the store and plopped it in the shopping cart only for my Mom to say, "You are not getting that." I blinked a few times and told her that I didn't have any money on me at the moment anyway and I was hoping she could get it and I'd paid her when we got back home and-
    "I am not buying that, I draw the line at pony toys."
    ...
    And so I walked home empty handed and a bit broken hearted. As much as I love talking about ponies with random strangers online it would be nice if some of my family or at least one of my real life friends supported the franchise. At least most of them are just in the 'I don't really care about the show' camp instead of the 'GUYSWHOLIKEPONIESBEGAY' camp.
    Anywho, sorry for the rant-ish sort of blog. I need something to pass the time until tomorrow and it's been sitting on my mind for a few days so I decided to get it off. Now... isitisaturdayyetisitsaturdayyetisit...

    Yes, I know my blog has a stupid name. It's late, what can I say? So I actually do a blog elsewhere, except there I mainly do movie reviews. Thus I'll probably use this blog to review season two episodes when they come out. Why? I enjoy talking about stuff I like and pretending people give a horse's plot about what I think.
    But at this moment, no, I'm not reviewing. I've been working close to a week on an RP application for my very own OC pony. I've tenderly crafted it from my imagination, making sure it followed all the RP rules and was generally interesting. Sounds nice right? And I go into it this evening, deciding to clean it up before finally posting it here on Canterlot... and I see it's gone. No, the file's still there, but when I open it in Notepad it's empty. Completely empty. It's like I erased everything I wrote it then forgot to put it back. So now I have to literally start all over and rewrite my character top to bottom. *sigh* Ah well. At least I can fix some things up that I wasn't sure about previously.
    Man, I need more interesting things to talk about. How about that Star Wars Blu-Ray? Eh? Eh?
