    Second - My ex-wife disapproved of Sci Fi and Yugioh. :twisted: My girlfriend supports all my hobbies. :D

    It's so easy to get lost in loving another person that we forget what do WE want out of life. What do you want? Do something for YOU today. You are worth it.

    NOW! This is very easy to say and to type - but you have a life and a relationship at stake here! Yes I would probably give my left arm for that Twilight Sparkle figure at that price but your twilight sparkle toy isn't going to keep you warm on a cold night.

    Which is why you buy the throw, blanket and matching pillow set!!! ;-)

    I have that throw, and thankies for the jellies on my collection. I worked hard on it. Now I'm working on gettin' some dups. So far, I have seconds of Rarity, Twix2 and Plum Sweet. ....not that that is at all relevant to this....I still say you should buy the toy. It's a cheap thing. I'm sure she spends more money on....hair product or something.

    Gender and sexual orientation are independent of eachother, and everybody has a gender identity and a sexual orientation (even if they don't identify themselves as such), so they'd have to ban straight, cisgendered (non trans, non genderswapped) characters for sexual content too.

    I am aware of this, it is just the title of the topic that gets me, to be honest, and the idea of gender bending often has to do with transexuality or transgender, etc. So, while I am an open-minded individual, there are others, say, children on this website, who may not assertain that difference.

    I was not saying I see this as inappropriate. I was saying if it should have any sort of relation to sexual orientation....that is all. Forgive me if I sounded cruel, judgemental or ignorant. :sleep:

    yes, but gender often has to do with sexual orientation, which is deemed inappropriate for the board. In fact, anything sexually related is prohibited. So. yeah. That is what I was meaning. I know it has been mentioned in the past that if your characters focus point has to do with gender, it's not really that good of an idea. Like...they don't want to know or something. *shrug* but I guess, for example...If I wanted to make a crossover....Ranma 1/2 pony, that when he was splashed with cold water, turns female...I don't think anypony would have a problem with it...because it doesn't actually have to do with who the pony is as a pony...so....therein lies my confuzzlement.

    Nah. pinkie Pie. She has her own succesful grimdark fan fiction, a silent hill pony adaption based on her linked both with slenderman and cupcakes-ok..the writting was god awful but it was a fan fic-

    and she is the king of partying and randomly makes up songs.

    I have a hard time believing that this fandom will go down without several remaining fans. I mean, even if the show ends--which I can't see it doing anytime soon, since it's raking in so much dough--My Little Pony has been around since it was 'My Pretty Pony' back in the 80's. Hasbro isn't going to let such an iconic thing just...DIE.

    I've thought about this a lot too. I would type out my opinion, but knight said it a lot better than I ever could :P
