  1. QUESTION TIME!!!

What's her flavour called? What does it taste like? How did she make it? What happened to her parents' business after she left and took her flavour with her? How is she managing a business all by herself? When did she get her cutie mark? HOW did she get her cutie mark? You said 'in that moment' but THAT moment wasn't really clear. A flavour doesn't just magically become 'a highlight' I mean...somepony would have to try it, then tell somepony else, and then...so on and so forth, boom popularity!

You make it sound like at her shop, she only sells that one flavour. As an ice cream pony, doesn't she make more flavours? Like a traditional chocolate? or...y'know, other common flavours? I doubt a business could make it on only one flavour. Also, her motivation doesn't make much sense to me. Does she not already do that? I mean...what gets her looking forward to tomorrow? What does she want to achieve?

Also, I am unfamiliar with the color 'kind of blue.'...but maybe that's just me.

  2. Holly sat quietly in a booth in the restaurant, waiting for her fellow travelers to come into the restaurant. Oh, Celestia, did her head hurt.

She rested her head in her hooves, rubbing her sore head with them, trying to fight away the acheys. Her tummy hurt too. She didn't like it. She obviously needed some doughnuts to get rid of this plaguing headache...maybe...Guh. She sort of wished Rain Leaf was here wit one of his yucky-tasting, highly affective remedies.

She groaned and slouched back into the booth, resting her head on the cushioned top of the curved seats, resting her hooves on her achey tummy--it felt like everything hurt, "Owwwww..."

  3. GAWD, no. I flaunt it like nobodies business. Even at work. I have my cubicle all decked out in PONY TOYS!! Woohoo! And I spend every minute the phone isn't ringing at work (like now) on canterlot.com....I don't hide it. I love ponies. I want everyone to love ponies. But more importantly....

    I love ponies. <3

  4. Honestly, I think ponies have the same affect as...like...Pokemon. You loved it when it was a fad, and you still appreciate it now, and it never really 'dies' no matter how terrible the anime gets, how ridiculous the pokemon are, or how crazy the games get. Pokemon is eternal.

For me..so are ponies. I don't think I'll ever get over them, even when the show is no longer on TV....or it gets into it's 12th season and totally SUCKS (like pokemon) I'd still have mah pony toys desplayed proudly. Still have my brony friends. Still cruise websites....

*sigh* Now I feel bad for deserting my Jurassic Park site for ponies. JP is timeless...I love JP....why did I leave..? *sobs*

  5. Bon Bon

Bon Bon was not put at ease by her fillyfriend's words, though she couldn't help the giggle that escaped when she got kissed on the nose. It still didn't ease her mind, and as she watched Lyra pop about to greet an old friend, her worries only doubled.

Lyra was so sweet, filled with kindness towards just about anypony. Down to earth and generally a lover of all things...Her parents...there's no way they would accept her. She could picture her snobbish mother and father now, the hard, judging eyes that her sisters approached anything deemed 'below them' with. She closed her eyes tightly, trying to push away the thoughts, but they only got worse.

She pictured her parents, after they heard what she was...who she loved...the shame they would feel of her. The hard words they would say, the cruel way they would shun her from their family. She imagined it all, daydreaming--well, more like day NIGHTMARING if you asked her.

Her smile quivered as she opened her eyes, Her pupils tightly constricted, and she rubbed her forearms as she looked out the window, unable to think beyond that dark thought mumbling softly to herself, "M...maybe...we shouldn't even...go...to see my parents..."

  6. Buy it. If she loves you, she'll accept what you want to buy and be a part of.

Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is. My boyfriend of 2 years was about the same way when I bought my first toy pony. He was angry that I had wasted my money, but gradually...he accepted it, and even started buying me ponies whenever he was at the store for $5. The toys are very cheap, and they're honestly very displayable. I have every single pony styled and set up on a shelf, and display my collection proudly.

It certainly isn't worth ruining your relationship, but it's honestly ridiculous for any single member of a relationship to be so....controlling. Stand up for yourself a little. :

  7. Holly poked her head out of the snow, eyes swirling in dizinness as she saw little birds flash about her head, "Rrrarrabbabbllaa...."

She shook her head, shaking out of the dizzy state, and managed to wiggle-wobble out of the snow pile, stumbling past Gladwin and tripping and almost falling one way, and then repeating the action in the opposite direction, her hooves floundering around under her as she fumbled to move on towards the dougnut shop, and ended up crashing into a carrot merchant.

"Rraalllaabarra," She bowed her head, apologizing to him politely, though her words made no sense. She shook her head once more, and turned back towards the other three she was with, looking at them indignantly, as though wondering what was taking them so long, "Rrraroorooro!"

She fumbled further down the road, looking as though she may be drunk off something, before suddenly...

    ) ) THWUMMM ( (

The pole hummed as it shook from the impact, and Holly sat down in front of it, blinking curiously, then looked back at her three companions, "You guys comin', or wut?"

She stood up and trotted off, disappearing into Pony Joe's with a tinkle of the door bell.

  8. Holly laughed as she watched Gladwin show off for the kids, along with the sparky little bird, Sparks...oooh...so that's how he got his name.

She sighed, and was about to trot to join in in a game with the colts, when she noticed Colton trotting off all alone. She frowned and turned to follow him towards the lake, tail bouncing lightly.

"Hay, hay, Colton!" She called as she galloped a little to catch up to the pegasi as he drifted away onto the bridge overlooking the lake, "Whattaya doin'? Come...come be with everypony..."

She paused briefly, "It won't be no fun over here all alone..."

  9. Oh, was this for ourselves? Let's see....meeee....I'd probably.....never talk anymore, and always be out exercising. I'm usually lazy and playing video games and talking someon...anyone's ear off....>3> And possibly nomming on something chocolatey.

  10. Well, let's see.....

I think Cerena would become silly and crude and talk funky, to contradict her normal grace and high-borne of Canterlot talk

As for Holly....hmm...that's a toughy...maybe she'd speak fancy, and act like a really snippy snooty cabooty, and probably be really mean to everypony...so...she'd become Diamond Tiara! :P Or...mayb she'd become a vegetable-pony. (not in a vegetative state an actual like...lettuce head or something, because she hates veggies.)

Now, Bon Bon...I think would go totally wick-wack. She'd hate girls, hate candy, hate normal ponies, and probably get all snarky and snippy and mean....or maybe she'd be unable to eat anything...or...hmm....grrr....i dunno.

    halp?

as for my pending ponies, I'd say....

Flitwink would be unable to stop talking, as opposed to his normal reserved, shy nature.

Thudora Strike would both lose her ability to fly, and be unable to say anything snide or hurtful.

  11. Holly giggled. Obviously the kiss on the cheek had not been enough for the griffon to get the hint, so she nodded warmly when he asked about the paddleboats, "Y'know, Gladwin, Ah'd really, really LOVE to, Ah would but..."

She leaned over, looking past the griffon that stood before her, to the little shop in the distance. There was a chain through the door handles, and a padlock locked the paddleboats tightly to the dock, "Ah don't know that they'll be open cuz it's gettin' so cold out....how bout we play with the foals a bit...then just me and you can go build snowmen outside of Canterlot?"

  12. Holly smiled at the thought of Pony Joe's. It would certainly be much better this time--she'd be certain not to choke. She giggled as Flux almost toppled over while peeking over a corner, "Flux, yur pretty cute, ya know. Ya oughtta watch what yer doin'"

She giggled and walked past Flux, and as though in spite of her calling someone else clumsy, she tripped on a rock and went fumbling into a pole, smacked her head, and the shakey pole caused all the snow on the roof it was connected to to slip from its angled home and pile on top of her.

  13. Holly, sensing the awkward tension that had just formed from Gladwin's comment about foals--and she, thinking that it was because they were both males, and didn't want to talk about that stuff, decided to interject with her own opinion.

"Well, Ah fur one think that it'd be GREAT to have a foal someday, in fact, Ah'd have two 'er three!" She proclaimed, but a blush stayed plastered to her face, "S-so....Well, Ah don't want one NOW 'er nuthin, but....some day it'd be real nice."

She once again glanced at Gladwin and blushed, and then turned away. She came gradually to a halt as they arrived at a wide expanse of green, placed among the busy streets of Canterlot, there was a walking path, and some obviously pony-planted trees, still tiny and each nicely trimmed, and along the walking path was a playground to the left, and a small pony-made lake to the right. There were only two foals at the park, and the shop that rented out paddle boats seemed utterly deserted.

She sighed. It must have been because the weather was getting chillier. She magicked off her cart and said with a smile, "Well...we're here!"

  14. Holly turned as the two males approached, eyeing Gladwin with a welcoming, loving look. She placed a kiss on his cheek. Not for any real reason, of course, but just because...well, she could. And she really loved the big fella.

"Ah'm good with goin' anywhere 'long as Ah'm with you," She said. Being from a simple place like Beakbreak, where relationships were...not really a thing that occurred, she was completely oblivious to her line coming across as 'cheesy' as she had merely said it straight from her heart, "But...Ah do like hot cocoa...maybe we could start at a cafe or somethin' and go from thar?"
