  1. FFFF....Celestia's sun is moving to slow! It's causing all the snow to melt as it sits there, very, very, very slowly moving across the sky...I haven't even gotten the chance to make a snow angel! COME BACK, SNOOOOOWWW!!!

  2. I'm expecting a lot from it as well. I've been a Batman fan (Batfan?) since I could remember.

Batman Begins had such an awesome representation of the Scarecrow. (Fun Fact: In the comics, Scarecrow is a fear-addicted sociopath  who is only afraid of Batman himself. He's actually rarely intimidated by anyone or anything else, much to the frustration of Gotham PD. )

And The Dark Knight? That was the PERFECT JOKER. I've read Arkham Asylum:A Serious House on Serious Earth, and seen the original movies, and read the comic, of course. Heath Ledger's Joker is a perfect combination of all of those things; the sarcastic, the dark, the loony, the circus-y, and the voice.

And Two-Face? Man, what an amazing performance, I was shocked at how well Eckhart performed the role of Harvey Dent.

Now, The Dark Knight Rises. I hope they'll acknowledge the following points about the newest villains:

    1. Catwoman is a sultry, talented thief. She doesn't fight as well as she does trick people. She should test Batman's wits and detective skills more than previous villains. If anything, a fight between the two should be mostly her ducking and weaving around him, and disappearing when he gets distracted.

    2. Bane (also known as "The man who broke the Bat".) is hard to fight. He's stronger, faster, and sharper-minded than most people, and that's WITHOUT pumping some of his own muscle-enhancing "Venom".

Sorry about writing all that, I just couldn't stop typing for a minute or two.

In short, I hope this movie is as good, if not better, than the previous installments.

I love you. You're my new best friend. XD

On the topic of Catwoman, WHYY ANNE HATHAWAY!?!??!! I hate Anne Hathaway. She's a TERRIBLE actress. So far, all attempts in the past of Catwoman have been terrible, and I'd truly like to hope that these movies could fix this. But when I saw it was her I was...I was just....GUHHHHHH. Stupid casting person. *kicks* She's not even pretty! >3< And...just....I...GRRR!!!

She better not fudge up this movie. Stupid Princess Diaries no-good actress...

This. I'm a HUGE Batfan but nothing in this... is getting me pumped. He has such a huge rogue's gallery and all we get is Bane? No disrespect to the character but I was expecting a bit more color. Instead, Nolan is trying nothing new and just giving us lots of browns and grays. There's no personality. No charisma. I dare-say, I'm almost bored with it.

I guess what I'm really wishing for will be forever out of reach...

Color makes it campy, and less serious, in my opinion. Gotham is a DARK place. Where even the Prince of Clowns has his colors dampered by the dinge and darkness. I mean...the town is broken, and providing cool effects, colorful costumes, excessively campy lines (Holy toledo, Batman!) Just makes the films harder to take serious. This film series has taken Batman to a new, SERIOUS level. Life is dark. Crime is dark. There is DEATH in the world, and it isn't pretty. There are evil-doers in gotham who would kill you for a penny without a second thought.

I believe CN brought this DC-verse to life, without making it seem...well...like a comic book! And while I LOVE the comic books, the older ones are...well, let's face it, hilariously campy! And so were all of Tim Burton's films!

Not that I have anything against Tim Burton. I LOVE almost all of his work....just...not....Batman!...*shudder*

    Well may I ask why?

The thing is that I personally think the Nolan Batman films are the best ones out there as they are more of a character study then action pieces.

Its more about the characters then it is about Batman going around beating up villains.

And for me this works really well, compare that to the Burton films for example.

The first Tim Burton film when you boil it down is just another 80's action film, dont get me wrong its a good movie but its sacrifices story for action.

Batman Returns is not any better.

Then you have the Schumacher films, and enough is said about them already.

Agreed. I just....I agree so HARD. They weren't quite

    THIS CAMPY

but still.....uggh. Batman isn't supposed to be a COMEDY.

  3. I suppose, with the toys, you'd TECHNICALLY have to take into consideration all of the non-existant in-show extra ponies that they make, because many of them have much more fun and exciting color schemes....cuter cutie marks....etc. BUT, gah, I'd hate to name all of them. And plus, any non-collector/toy lover would not even know one from the other! >3< And it'd make everything more difficult, I guess.

    .....I'd vote for Cupcake.

  4. *throws masterball*

SUCCESS!! I HAVE CAUGHT WILD NERDPONY!!! >3< Now I have a Brony and a Nerdpony....oh wait, I forgot, I evolved my Brony with a firestone and it became Princess Celestia!!! So...now...if I use a Dusk Stone......Luna....?

    anywayzez, on with tradition!

    WELCOME WELCOME WELCOOME!!!!

    TOOOOO......

    CANTERLOT!!!

    *DOOT DOO DOOOO!!!*

    (yay!)

  5. Just throwing it out there, another reason I voted Rarity for toy is because she's a UNICRON!!! I mean, when looking at a toy, to put it simply, Earth Ponies would look terribly BORING, and sure, pegasi are COOL but--who needs wings when you have a boundless imagination and there's a pony who can do MAGIC?! She could MAKE herself fly with her magical powers! And she's purtier than the image of Dash. (Just so everypony knows, the picture of Dash on the box does NOT depict any sort of tomboyish nature. she's just standing there smiling. She looks just like everypony else.) Where Rarity is standing elegantly with her hair flipped and eye towards the--well, children--and she has eyeshadow and diamonds--oh my!

I know this won't account really towards anything having to do with the target audience...but....when I put on my secret santa list (at work) that I collect My little Pony toys, the girl bought me Rarity....but she's an adult....so....*shrug*

  6. First off, I met a couple of new bronies by doing this (I recommended the site to them)

Second off it was a local news station, so I doubt that it would have broadcasted anywhere outside my town (Lock Haven, PA). I believe the news station was "The Cast" which, agian I believe, airs on channel 37 in town.

If you are to find the interview anywhere please drop the link here, that would be great :)

Omigosh. I am like...brain dead from trying to find any sort of source on anything Lock Haven other than the NEWSPAPER. Yeesh. even my teeny town had a website for it's newstation! >3<

  7. I, personally, voted Pinkie Pie for the show, just cuz....well, her character seems to be driven towards little girls and making everyone HAPPY! :3 I think, based off the show, most young girls still haven't gotten to the point where they know that it's 'okay' not to like the girly pink things, and are still in the phases of thinking that there's something 'wrong' with being a tomboy--which is what Dash is, and that is why I highly disagree with a six year old thinking a boy-like pony is best.

For toy, I voted Rarity. On the box is a big picture of the animated version of the pony, and I think pretty frilly Rarity would be most appealing as a doll to play with. She looks so stylish, and her cutie marks are DIAMONDS. I mean....what are a girl's best friend if not that?

  8. Okay, please do NOT vote for YOUR favorite pony before reading!!

Okay, the target audience of My Little Pony is little girls ages 4-12 or so. SOO, question 1:

Which pony do you think is most appealing to that age group? For example, for a 6 year old girl to watch this show on the hub, which pony do you think would be most appealing to the youth of today?

    Question 2:

Which pony of all of these do you think a little girl would pick out at Target on the shelf, if based on only appearance on the box? Even if you are not an avid collector, everypony on this site knows what the mane six look like, and their picture is on the toy box for the toys. Based on ONLY that appearance, what toy do you think they would select?
