1. Resting her injured leg on Conor's back, Telki allowed herself to be helped out of the building.

Once outside, she carefully slid her leg off, wincing slightly as her hoof bounced off the bag carried on Conor's back, making a muffled metallic (Was that a metallic sound?) and then carefully sat on her rump.

"You probably guessed by now but, my name's Colton, Colton Cloudkicker. And...what are you doing all the way out here?"

Okay, you gotta promise not to kick me in the head, this will probably hurt a bit," the griffon explained, looking over the cloth with his fierce golden eyes.

Before she could reply to him though, the griffon dabbed it onto her chest in an attempt to not make her realize it was on her. "Better?"

Mentally refocused on her injuries, she could barely catch head or tail of what was being said around her, what she could not ignore, was a sudden stinging sensation as the ointment touched the sore spot on her chest.

An "Ughggggg" escaped her lips as Telki tried to prioritize gritting her teeth over yelling like filly over the pain.

The sting soon dissipated and Telki felt the soreness fading away.

Catching her breath she turned to the griffon. "Thanks, could you put a bit more on my knee then I can bandage it, I think" she said, stretching her injured leg towards the griffon.

Turning back to Conor, she took a deep breath "Well I meant to go to Apploosa to find work, but this exploring this ghost town was too tempting to pass up soooo yeah. If you don't me asking, what's that you're carrying?" pointing her good front leg at the sling Conor was carrying on his back

  2. "Well when I graduated from school I really did not know what to do with my life." Telki replied matter of factly "I wasn't really keen to be a lecturer like my parents and I didn't want to take over the family business"

"So far I'm traveling, trying out different jobs, trying to apply myself, seeing he world." she continued, and at the mention of 'apply' made her eyes and horn glow slightly

  3. Buoyened by her previous good fortune, Telki allowed herself to skip merrily towards the Monument.

Her luck was changing, she could feel it, and it was all thanks to Princess Luna; whom she had met the day before and who had generously 'returned' to her the candy that she had lost.

Perhaps this was the most appropriate night to visit the monument to Nightmare Moon. She had spent one night pretending to be Nightmare Moon's servant, which would have been fun save for her losing one candy and the joke ending prematurely; as well as one night meeting Princess Luna, the former Nightmare Moon herself.

"Well easy come easy go" she thought. As she stood and took in the serenity of the night while admiring the silhouette of the statue

  4. "Well, I'm travelling through Equestria by myself so its not like I have any friends with me now."

It was slowly beginning to dawn on Telki that she had really been alone most of the time, well at least she turned out ok, she hoped. Perhaps that would be a problem in the future, but for now at least it is something that she couldn't help seeing as that she had no permermant travelling companions. Not that that would be a really good idea though, since she tended to prefer going to places on a whim and having to account for a companion would put a huge gimp on her freedom.

"I still write to my parents and brothers now and then, when I can afford it. I've gotten to know quite a few ponies and other creatures throughout my travels, but I don't think they count as friends soo yeah."

  5. well its much improved :)

with regards to the lore, believe me when I say that changing it is opening a can of worms that will slither all over the place and generally cause a ruckus, so don't.

this is what i propose: since the Shadowbolts is a performing troupe; its not too far fetched to suggest that all the members can be scattered around in different groups (the Cirque du Soleil has a number of troupes touring at any point in time, with their own support staff and reserves) so Nocturna can be in one show, while it can be hinted the inactive/non-participating members can be elsewhere in another production/on leave etc, or if it comes down to it put on the bus.
