During a nice summer afternoon a friend of Merry asked her if she could deliver a package to his grandmother, he didn't see he much and wanted to let her know he still cares about her. Being the good friend Merry is she took the package and the address then soon delivered it to the Grandmother. Merry told her who the package was from and saw the grandmother's face light up, feeling very heart-warmed by how much her friend's grandmother enjoyed receiving the package that she wanted to see how she'd react to what's inside. Opening the package the grandmother saw that it was a tiny candy bowl with a note it said "Love you Grandma enjoy this sweet present hope to see you soon- Your loving grandson". Giving Merry a gracious thank you for delivering the present she asked her if she could deliver a letter she quickly wrote, back to her grandson. Excited to spread the happiness between the two she said yes and flew the letter back to her friend. Merry's friend was overjoyed that his grandmother wrote back telling him how much she appreciated his gift and that she loved him too. The friend also thanked Merry for doing this for him and his favorite grandmother. Giving Merry a quick nuzzle he ran off to tell his parents. Merry felt wonderful about for what she did by just giving someone a package and letter. She always wanted to feel this much joy and happiness from delivering presents, packages and letters to all the other ponies. Feeling happy and a changed pony she walked home when she noticed something in her reflection of one of the stores windows. Merry had gained her cutie-mark, It was a white enveloped sealed with a heart. Feeling giddy and excited she galloped home to tell her parents about her wonderful day.Merry is a very helpful and giving pony but speaks her mind when something doesn't seem right to her. Although she tends to be a little harsh she is really being the way she is because she cares so much for everypony. Merry got her outspokenness from her mother who is a hairdresser and she got her kindness from her father who is a school teacher. They raised Merry to respect all living creatures and ponies but not to be to be so kind that everypony takes advantage of her kind heart. She loves flying and running to her next destination and dreads to walk because it's such a slow way to travel enjoying having her hoofs off the ground Merry flies almost everywhere to anywhere. Merry also has a pet bird that she keeps at her side at all times it is a cockatiel and her name is Matilda. Skye Posted May 19, 2011 Report Share Posted May 19, 2011 I think Appleoosa could definitely use a mail carrier pony! I'd recommend cleaning up her summary a bit and tidying some of the sentences, a lot of it looks like run-on sentences! Try to think where commas and natural pauses in the sentences would be.
