Crossing the Lover's Bridge

The lover's bridge rests beneath you, a more private area away from the castle and across a gentle stream. Near the simple stone bridge, in a rich grassy area, ponies sit together (on pillows, of course—one cannot ruin their Gala attire!) in pairs. It is a quiet and tranquil place, away from the hustle and bustle of the Gala, where ponies may converse on a more personal level, without the fear of prying ears.

A statue of the Princess Celestia stands nearby, looking out over the city of Canterlot. The soft glow of lights in the city reflect off the streams and pools, making the city lights appear to be dancing and moving on their own. Colors light up the sky, the booms of distant fireworks can be heard as they bathe the area in soft colored light. A pony would be hard pressed to find a more romantic, tranquil place to spend the Gala with a close friend.
