Reunion (Finished)

Ever since she received the letter telling her that her parents and her sister Honeycrisp had decided to move to Appleoosa, she was excited about getting the chance to have a day with her sister. It had been a while seeing her since moving and despite liking her surroundings there were times that the earth pony got homesick for her family. Luckily the family came to her, and she was eager to help them get settled in.

Now Apple Cinnamon waited at her home, looking forward to meeting her sister and to give her the tour of the town.

Honey Crisp shouted to the mare who had given her directions to Apple Cinnamon's house. It turned out to be only a few houses down! Dragging a suitcase and a guitar behind her, Honey ran towards her new home. With a speed almost incomprehensible to others, she arrived on Apple Cinnamon's front porch.

She shouted, pounding on the door in excitement. She already loved Appleoosa.

Apple Cinnamon was about to check outside to see if she could spot her sister when suddenly she heard a knocking on the door. She opened the door to see her sister standing there.

[colour=#006400]"Eeee," [/colour]she squealed like a little filly during her birthday as she hugged her sister, [colour=#006400]"Oh mah, ah've missed you so much little sis. It's been a while since we last saw each other. Looks like you've grown too. How are you doin'?"[/colour]

[colour=#2f4f4f]"Ah've missed ya so much too, AC!"[/colour]

Honey Crisp accepted Apple Cinnamon's hug and was extremely happy to once more be with her big sister. AC looked better than ever to Honey Crisp, and she really couldn't wait to go on lots of adventures with her sister.

[colour=#2f4f4f]"Ah'm doin' great! Ah'm so happy to see you, an' Ah think that Ah already love Appleoosa! Ah still haven't got my cutie mark, though. Ah really want it. Oh, look sis! Ah brought my guitar! We can play together an' sing an' stuff!"[/colour]

[colour=#2f4f4f]"Well, Ah'm glad to hear you love yer new home," [/colour]she said as she let go of her sister, [colour=#2f4f4f]"It's not as fancy as the place we lived in before but it's a charmin' town."[/colour]

Apple Cinnamon saw the disappointment of her sister not getting her cutie mark.

[colour=#2f4f4f]"Ah, don't be too hard on yerself like that Honey. It took a while for me to find out what mah make was. You just have to try several things that's all. Who knows, maybe movin' here to Appleoosa is just the trick to get yer mark! Anyway, Ah'd love to play with you today, but first let me give you a tour of the town! Would you like that?" [/colour]

Honey Crisp suddenly felt completely filled with excitement!

[colour=#2f4f4f]"Oh boy, AC! Ah'd love that!"[/colour]

She began to bounce up and down, heading straight for the door. She opened it and ran out, waiting for her sister to catch up. She couldn't wait to see Appleoosa with her very own eyes. At least, the parts she hadn't already seen.

[colour=#006400]"Well alright then," [/colour]Apple Cinnamon said as she chuckled watching her sister bound out the door. The mare guessed that her sister had seen some parts of town but not everything. The town of Appleoosa was at first glance unassuming but deep down it was very much alive.

[colour=#006400]"Well ah' guess ah'll be the tour guide fer this trip. As you probably seen, Appleoosa is pretty much one big street. That's where all the places to eat an' shop an' other things are. There are other streets too, but those are mainly fer houses like mine. At the one end on town there's the different orchards, although you probably know that already seein' as our parents own a farm there. Now do you know why the main street is so wide?" [/colour]
