Melodice shakes Saronyx's hoof,"[colour=#008080]And a pleasure to meet you too,"[/colour] She smiled then ut her hoof back in her lap.

Saronyx leaned his weight on one hoof, "So what is it you do for a living?"

[colour=#008080]"Me?" [/colour]Melodice asked while pointing a hoof towards herself.

Saronyx nods, "Yes," he says, then points to each pony as he mentions them, "Regal's a blacksmith, Magenta runs the shop, I'm a writer. What do you do? If you don't mind my asking that is."

Saronyx smiles, "Sounds like it would be enjoyable."

Saronyx chuckles, "I agree with you there. One of my greatest enemies being a writer who only can when he feels motivated is deadlines."

"Perfection cannot be rushed. It take time and care to create a masterpiece. And if one truly cares, it'll be worth the wait."

Regal nods as she listens to the two converse. "Do not even get me started on deadlines!" She says exasperated. "It is always I need this by such and such, or rush jobs," She sighs to herself and shrugs, "but I love my job."

"These are the pains we have to endure," Saronyx said, adopting a scholarly tone, "And at the time it may make us feel absolutely miserable," he taps his hoof on the table as he finishes, "But it may just lead us somewhere in life that we will never regret."

"Well said," Regal comments, "maybe you should put that in a book." She giggles softly.

"Thank you." Saronyx said in his normal tone, smiling slightly, "You know, I think I might do just that."

Melodice smiled,[colour=#008080]"I have to agree all the way,with all of you,one stallion rushed me to write a love song for him,and like I had tried to tell him,that I wasn't going to right him a love song,he snapped back at me,and I had sai what Saronyx had said practically." [/colour]She narrowed her eyes for a moment,then remained smiling.

Saronyx chuckled, "it seems some ponies just can't take a hint."

Saronyx tilted his head at her mumbling, but didn't pry. Instead he glanced out the nearest window, "My sister is a musician as well, though she just sings and plays, doesn't write anything original."

Looks a bit confused by Melodice's expressions but; passing her ettiquete check, hides it well. "I know the feeling darling," Regal says empathetically, "one time I was being rushed so much I smelted down the wrong ores." Acts like these are words everyone should know.

"That must have made the client very happy." Saronyx says, turning his gaze back to Regal.
