The Academy Chapter 2

Velocity shrugged, still smiling, "Aah, it's no problem! I'm honored and happy to help. 'Sides, Shimmer and I'll have a squadron of the best Military Pegasi I know helping us."

After Flashbomb left, Velocity looked to the raven that was sleeping on his back and chuckled, "You've got another flight ahead of you so I can requisition that squadron."

Gadget looked to Velocity. [colour=#0000cd]"Well, looks like you and I will get to spar again." [/colour][colour=#000000]He chuckled.[/colour]

[colour=#000000]Swift Blitz scurried out of the room and into the barracks. She looked at herself in the mirror. She was a wonderbolt now, why was she acting like this? She should be proud. So she took a deep breath, puffed her chest out a bit and trotted around the area, finding her way to the runway and looked out. [/colour]

[colour=#000000]By now Sundial was sure her sister, aunts, and mother were done so she got up and made her way out of the room and went looking for her sister.[/colour]

Flashbomb had entered the barracks and packed his things although there wasnt much to pack anyways, besides his mask. He Grabbed it and looked it over and its basic looks and properties, event though it seemed useless it gave him amazing abilities. He thought to himself about how much he depended on this relic. After a moment he snapped out of it and grabbed his bag, He trotted outside to the transport that was a charriot that was modified to carry up to 30. A squad of Pegesai guards stood aside waiting for them all to board. Flash put his bag on the charriot and sat down on his haunches waiting patiently. He saw an alicorn (Sundial) Go to the charriots that the royalty were waiting nearby, Celestia was chatting with Luna about something but he knew better than to eavesdrop.

(Canterlot has been down a lot latley, That kinda prevented me from poasting last night.. Sorry everypony ^^; )

Angelsnapp laughed "Of course, Let's go pack up, Ill write a letter to Silver letting her know what is happining, I'm sure she will understand. Protecting equestria and all" Angel smiled trotting out of the room with Lyria

CloudDasher watched as all the pony's left the room to get ready for the trip. She trotted out with Blitz to what was left of the Mares barracks. She looked around, She took off her cadets uniform, It was still somewhat wet from the test. Her goggles hung from her neck as she began to pack up multipal items. She grabbed a saddlebag and deposeted her uniform wraped in a towl so it wouldent ruin the magazines she had brought. One of them had Angelsnapp with FlashBomb on the cover and was tittled "Popular Photography" She fliped through it and put it back in the bag. At this point she was at a loss. She grabbed her saddle bag and trotted outside to see FlashBomb next to some charriots. She trotted over to him.

Velocity chuckled and hit Gadget lightly on the shoulder in a friendly sort of way, [colour=#daa520]"Yeah! And maybe this time I won'[/colour][colour=#DAA520]t send myself barreling into the ground." [/colour][colour=#000000]He stated that last bit in a matter-of-fact way, then chuckled again, [/colour][colour=#daa520]"Either way, I'm looking forward to the days ahead. Oh hey! There you are Shimmer! Guess what? We, alongside the Raptors, get to train everyone. They're coming to Canterlot for that, so we'll have to head outside to load up and head out." [/colour]

[colour=#000000]Shimmer, who had silently watched Sundial leave and afterwards flown to the main building where Velocity was, smiled slightly, [/colour][colour=#696969]"Really? Well then. We have our work cut out for us.." [/colour][colour=#000000]She subtly glanced at Gadget as she said this.[/colour]

[colour=#DAA520]"Heck yeah we do. I'm going to send another letter to the Commander, make sure he knows to bring at least a squadron along. Maybe we can get a Unicorn to just magic it to them, since it takes a little while by bird..."[/colour][colour=#000000] Velocity's voice slowly trailed off into him talking to himself rather than his sister, who glanced once more in Gadget's direction before turning to go leave, [/colour][colour=#696969]"I'll be waiting outside."[/colour]

(OOC: For reference: A squadron, by Air Force terms, is a group of 12-24 pilots, and is made up of multiple 'flights', teams of 3-6 pilots.)

Lyria smiled, and started to pack her stuff.

Celestia had kept her silence for a while and finnaly responded to her sister [colour=#FFD700]"I dont believe we can do much for her until the nightmares start to fully arise, i dont want to spike them to have them lash out and possably hurt Her or somepony else. I would like to ask you my dear sister to watch over her and if you can try to guide her from the path of darkness." [/colour]She said. The chariot flew through the skies back to Canterlot, it had grown time for her to lower the sun. Her horn Glowed and the sun started to fall, she noticed Luna beginning to raise the moon, It was going to be a long period of hardship ahead of them [colour=#FFD700]"Luna......i know i dont say it much as i should but i love you my dear sister......dont you forget that......" [/colour]

Flashbomb sat on his haunches waiting for everypony to get ready to depart. He saw Cloud dasher trotting over with her thing, to which he gave her a quick hello. They sat together by the charriot, He sighed why couldnt he express his feelings for her? was it because she was his pupil? That reminded him that they didnt recieve payment for the program, The Academy might need every bit though for repairs so the Absence of coin didnt bother him much. [colour=#0000FF]"Cloud dasher." [/colour]He said keeping his gaze off to the main building. [colour=#0000FF]"A little bird tells me you have a crush on Angel Snapp, Is that true?" [/colour]He asked. He noticed that it might come off as wierd of him to ask so he Added [colour=#0000FF]"Just heard a rumor thats all." [/colour]He rolled his eyes [colour=#0000FF]"Smooth job" [/colour]He thought. A guard grunted with impatience behind them.

"[colour=#0000cd]I love you too my dear sister... Don't you forget that." [/colour][colour=#000000]Luna said. [/colour]

Flashbomb was waiting for an awnser from Cloud dasher but a guard grunted once more, he turned to see that the escort guards that usually had been there had gone to grab everypony that was needed. Flash sighed and got up he sat in the back next to Lyria and Angel Snapp, Cloud dasher had taken a seat on the charriot and Flash looked back at the Academy. The chariot had started to roll to the edge of the ground, eventually it had lifted off off and into the air. Flashbomb watched the Academy start to fade into the distance, He felt a pang of sadness for leaving it once more but they were onto better things. He turned his gaze forward and they Acended into the skies,Twoards Canterlot and to their new lives.
