ShadowMage Posted June 3, 2013 Report Share Posted June 3, 2013 Apparently, an asteroid prospecting company, Planetary Resources, is attempting to kick-start a Earth-orbiting telescope for the small, small price of 1 Million dollars. The short of it is that they are developing the telescope technology using their own money and they will create many of the telescopes to search out for mineral rich asteroids and meteors.
