History:

Ophelia was raised in the forests of Stalliongrad by her mother in the small herd known as Boulder, named after her father. While her life in the wilderness composed of leaping through snow drifts, eating the fresh greens of spring, and avoiding trouble at all costs, she felt as if she was missing something. She grew up only knowing a select group of deer because she lived in a herd consisting of only her relatives. She never had any true friends, but this never stopped her from being happy. She mostly played with herself and the other fawns. Because her herd was separated from pony society, she never learned to read or anything like that. Because of this she has improper grammar and has different views on how Equestria and the earth around it functions. Deer, while not forming large herds like buffalo, do have their own culture and legends that are passed down from generation to generation. They may vary from herd to herd, but all have the same meaning.

When she was old enough, she left the herd and moved to Stalliongrad where she stayed for a few years. She enjoyed meeting so many ponies every day and earning a living by having a job. While enjoying those aspects and many more of Stalliongrad, she felt as if she didn't quite belong. Everypony was more concerned with work and surviving as opposed to having fun and relaxing.(Which she adored doing.) Of course, she couldn't blame them. She knew from experience how rough winter was and what was needed to make sure you survive it. Plus, she was far too talkative and overly caring compared to any other pony in the city, leading to a few arguments here and there. After living there for a few years and saving her bits, she finally moved to Fillydelphia. There, she felt as if she truly fit in. She blossomed, becoming more friendly and caring than ever. After realizing her strong passion for helping and taking care of anypony, she opened a daycare to take care of foals while their parents are at work.

Character Summary:

Ophelia is very kind and hard working. She is a bit dense at times, taking ponies too seriously when they use things like sarcasm and figurative language. Despite this, she still manages to have a positive attitude with everything. She is often seen as over protective and a bit too motherly at time but she's great at doing her job. She says she could spend all day with foals, adoring their creative ideas and how friendly they are with everyone else. She tries to do her best when it comes to teaching, trying to get the foals interested in learning. While she can't read very well, she can still read short foal's books which are perfect for the foals she takes care of every day. She also offers to take care of foals for extended periods of time if their parents have to be away for work or other issues. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, singing(although she's a tad flat), and learning new things. She's more of a visual and a hands on learner than a 'read and remember' learner. On the weekends you can find her in the library talking with other ponies and learning new things.

Her accent is somewhat similar to that of a pony from Stalliongrad but some words are drawn out more.

Hi Brains!

Deer are a 'legal' species for WOE, and I must say, this app is very well done! All of the required fields are filled and you have demonstrated a good working knowledge of the deer species. It does stand to reason that if cows and sheep can 'talk' and interact with ponies, talking deer should be able to as well!

Excellent work!
