Cutie Mark: A Silver Pocket Watch

Era wasn't the last to get her cutie mar but she wasn't the first. Era got her cutie mark in Canterlot, where she grew up. She applied to go to a very fancy school in Manehatten. Era thought that she would be an automatic pass but a couple of weeks later it would turn out that she did not make it. Era was so sad that all she did was read. She read one book that became very dear to her heart. In it the hero was a smart alek Unicorn who loved to go on quests and always made his companions feel better by making jokes and calling himself the Doctor. Era was so upset about herself that she adopted the personality of the Mare. Little did she know that the book was actually fiction and this caused a spark of knowledge for the past. She did find out a long time after that the book was fiction but it was too late. One day while in her studies she found a book about all the kingdoms in Equestria and she read it front to back. When she finished the last page, her cutie mark formed. It's based around her collection of history knowledge and ability to answer almost any question about the history of a monarch or castle, though she probably will reply with a joke instead.

History: Era grew up in canterlot with her mother and father. [colour=#282828]Her mother (Ticker Tock) and father (Firo Song) were very good at there jobs. Ticker was a watch maker and Firo was a singer. Her father, Firo was very loving and always taught Era that she should help others, though for a while Era never listened to this. Ticker always taught Era about being a proper lady but Era didn't really pay attention to that. While Era didn't listen to her, she may have wanted those skills as there were a few Stallions that did crush upon Era and tried to date her. Both of her parents were paid very well and because of this Era enjoyed the luxuries of her life, including a love for Coffee. Her mother actually showed Era a lot of the things she holds dear, including a Silver pocket watch necklace, which Era keeps as an heirloom. This made it all the worse when her Mother passed. After this Era focused her life on trying to find a good enough talent. For a while she thought it was magic and applied to join the manehatten school for talented unicorns. When Era was declined she threw himself into her studies and came across a falsely labeled book. She fell in love with it and perhaps fell in love with the hero of the story. He was very sarcastic and Era adopted this trait. Eventually she found out the book was fiction and she fell in love with both fiction and non-fiction though she enjoyed history books the most. When Era was still growing up she had met a white raven. Era was infact reading a great book about a troublesome raven at the time. The raven seemed to take a liking to Era and she named him Quoth. Later in Era's life she had won a bet with a gambling Pegasus and Era ended up with 'Time Lines', the name of her office and store. Now Era studies history, myths, and legends. Trying to uncover the secrets of equestria, one book at a time. While Era does normally show off her funny side, secretly she has a heart of gold and a thirst for friendship, even though she would be the last to admit it.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]Character Summery: Era is great at learning history but is terrible at magic. She enjoys some of the little things such as chess and Coffee. Era has a good sense of right and wrong but will try to find the funniest way to pursue either one. Era enjoys chess, coffee, helping the weak, fighting bullies, White lies, making jokes, getting paid and history. She hates being mean, Showing off, Bullying (Especially foals.), and she is scared of Hydra's, and Snakes. Era's only real past times are writing, reading and playing Chess. The latter of all that she does often. Being around Era can be a history lesson or a night of funny times. If asked about anything Era will probably start to ramble or she'll make a smart comment and just continue on. Era judges others too often and hates when someone hurts her friends. Era always fails at doing any physical thing or activity due to her weakness. Era can get sick easily and will often end up with a cold. Whenever she gets confused Era will either get curious or angry. Lastly Era doesn't like apologies at all and will not be one to forgive and forget. Era is scared of Hydra's and Snakes.[/colour]
