QuickLime Posted July 18, 2013 Report Share Posted July 18, 2013 If the thumping, lively party scene wasn't your bag, the Spa and Resting Room was perfect instead!The Spa had many staff on hand, there were massage tables, stations for hooficures, face masks, there were tons of mirrors, so that you could freshen up your make up, or anything else you wished! On the side and out of the way but within easy reach was a table covered with a white cloth, on that table were several silver trays of tiny snack foods for one to munch on! Little carrot sticks, celery stalks, fresh fruit and flowers to indulge on, as well as some tiny cucumber hooftip sandwiches! There were a few piping hot teapots all marked with what sort of tea rested within them, as well as sugarcubes and cream, and there were dainty little teacups for enjoying them in.The room smelled slightly of steam, and the gentlest waif of freshly brewed tea was in the air, the very essence of relaxing!However if the spa wasn't your thing, the whole other half of the room was dedicated souly to relaxing! There were big comfy bean bag chairs to lay on, warm blankets, a bookshelf full of interesting books, board games, a foosball table, and some ping pong tables set up as well.Since this was a little less froo froo, there were some sandwiches cut into neat triangles, the same fresh fruit and veggie options, there was some tea to drink too, as well as fizzy pop Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SunsetSombra Posted July 26, 2013 Report Share Posted July 26, 2013 Berry was quite eager to get a little relaxation in now that this first day of the con had wound down and she was done serving her usual arrays of punches and drinks outside - now it was Berry time, and she was gonna spend every moment she could enjoying what she could...and those sandwiches looked awfully tempting, considering she hadn't eaten all that much since she'd arrived here all those hours ago - she wasn't about to turn down some free lunching, that much Berry was absolutely sure of!Berry lets off a small sigh of contentment as she trots over to the table of snacks, where she'd provided a more casual selection of her drinks for the ponies to enjoy, and acquired for herself a couple of sandwiches on a plate, alongside an orange and raspberry punch - afterwards, setting it onto a table near the chair she'd chosen for her own relaxation and enjoyment...heading over towards the book shelf and perusing through the various titles to see just what she felt like picking up and enjoying for the evening..." [colour=#ee82ee]Oooh, they even have the Iron Stallion selection here[/colour]! " the magenta mare mutters to herself, barely containing a smile of glee as she helps herself to a few of the revered literature and makes her way back to the seat, plopping herself down onto it as she just gives a quick gigglesnort, now all set to just have herself a most awesome evening amongst other ponies!
