WoE query:comparrisons between deer chars and pony chars

I have a deer character in mind for my 2nd WoE character, and I want to know the differances and similarities between a pony character and a deer character. Could a deer char eat the same things and do the same things, that a pony char could do and eat? (hay, kick-buck apples out of trees)

Well, we're currently still working on up to date species lore for WoE. As it stands right now, there isn't much I can point you toward in regards to deer as they should appear in the game. That said, I would say you are safe to have a deer character do most any of the same things an earth pony character can. The only key differences that occur to me, aside from the obvious physical ones, are that deer would likely be more commonly seen in wooded areas (peaceful ones; not Everfree) as opposed to pony towns and cities.

I wish I could tell you more, and full lore write ups for deer and other species are coming, but for now I would suggest just creating the character. If you do anything that doesn't work with our game lore, an RP Helper should let you know.
