We were known as the land of the free, the land of inovation. We were facing a long calm, a gap between the events of "My Little Pony: Freindship is Magic" and the dark future that would consume all but the strongest. During this time we learned to rely on only the Elements and the Princesses. We looked to them to solve every problem, it ended up ruining us. We weren't ready, not even close. He was like a sudden title wave. He swept our land and plunged the souls of the weak into darkness. He literaly turned our own armies against us through mind control. He untied our enemies together aswell. He even took the liberty of using our own guns and weapons against us! The powers of the light couldn't stop him. Every thing we had planned, he had thought of a solution for. I geuss he had alot of time to think in the ice. We should have killed him back in the Crystal Empire. It's now to late to see that he was to dangerouse to be kept alive, King Sombra had returned, and he didn't intend on going back any time soon. The Mane Six, imprisoned. The Princesses, possibly dead. Equestria is no more, now we live in a dark wastland of death and destruction. Cities are now slave camps. Towns are burning piles of nothing. However, through it all there are few that still fight. Seeing how the magic of freindship didn't work, we now use the magic of lead and crosshairs. You might not see us but we are there. We are the stars in this long night. We light the way for those who are slaves, those who are imprisoned, and those who want the old Equestia back. He realized that he didn't very much like this new world, so he joined the Dark Stars and faught for a better one. (My sqedual at military schools alittle weird to, I'll RP as much as I can.)1300 hoursOutskirts Of The Crystal EmpireMission: "Rainbow In The Snow" The wind blew relentlesly and the snow fell in tons. One of Sombra's many high security holding facilities was barely visible in the winter storm. The gaurds tryed their best to stay warm. They huddled in their coats and boots. Their hooves could hardly hold weapons they were shivering so bad. The changling gaurds had it the worst. They felt the cold wind whip through their many holes. Outside of the prisons fence, deep in the cover of snow, they were being watched. Saturn team had taken up sniping positions and were also ready to storm the holding facility. They were invisible in their white camoflauged unifroms. Their guns were also painted white to blend in.Sure Shot: "Stand by, command's gonna give us the green light any minute." One was a pegasus and two were earth ponies. Sure shot motioned upwards and the other pegasus followed him into a cloud. The two eath ponies began coming up to the gate of the biulding.Sure Shot: "I see two gaurds up on a cat walk, hold."The two earth ponies below ducked down and waited. Sure Shot turned towards the red pegasus next to him.Sure Shot: "Together Blaze."Blaze: "right."They aimed, adjusted to the wind and fired in synke, their silenced snipers could not be heard and both gaurd fell dead. They immedietly began firing at the many gaurds. The gaurds fired back and soon the biuldings front yard was ablaze in gun fire!Sure Shot and Blaze flew down to the entrance and took out assault rifles, they joined the Earth ponies and began fighting through the front yard. Flash bang out!" Blaze yelled as he threw a flash bang in the doorway.The flash bang went off and the three gaurds inside were blinded. The team quickly shot them and held up in the room. They would meet heavy resistance, but it would be the quickest way to getting through the target.Sure Shot: "Alright let's move, you take point."The pony Sure Shot pointed to nodded and took off through a door, the rest of the team followed. Sometimes they found prisoners begging to be realised, other times they found sleeping gaurds. They cleared room after room until they came to a hallway. It was large and there was a stair case at the en of it. They took one step through the door and found an ambush waiting fro themSure Shot: "Cover!"The team got into firing psitions and opened fire on the force infront of them. The guards fell and slowly Saturn Team found themmselves in a large cell block. There were three stories of cells, but the team had a way of finding only one.Earth Pony: "Deploying drone."A small drone flew up from the stallions hoof and circled in the air. He would hover in front of them and look inside, he did not see their target however.Sure Shot: "Can that drone go any faster?"Pony: " Sorry sir, there's alot of cells."Blaze: "Blue. what's it looking like outside, how close are the renforcments?"
