Back Story: she earned her cutie mark (which is an angel food cake) about a month after her 9^th birthday (not good with age, so i really dont know when they usually earn their cutie marks) at a baking contest when she baked an angel food cake and decorated it, after she won 2nd place, her cutie mark appeared. She started her own sweet business and it started well, until she hired some lazy cooks and they accidentally messed up on some of the recipes, then it failed. So she moved to canterlot to try there and thn she got offered a place in the castle.

Angle cake trotted down the halls of the castle.

Lightning was sitting in the throne room with a pony across her. She smiled, "I already like you, but I have to ask questions first, Sadly."

" So where are you from??, What brought you to come to Canterlot Castle??, What's your passion and why would you want to work for the Princess'??"

"I am originally from the outskirts of Canterlot, so I have lived around here all my life. I came here because I have almost always dreamed of one day being one of the faithful ponies who serves the princesses. Also I guess because I really like to clean and take care of silly fillies like yourself, Princess! Where better to do that than here in Canterlot castle? I love to clean and be organised, and I love making things sparkle and shine, and making things just really beautiful!..."

Fae trailed off into silence. She really had no other passions aside from her cleaning, but.. "I don't really do much else besides cleaning, but if I was appointed here to work for you, I'm sure you would teach me a lot more about fun," she laughed gently, nodding politely at the young princess.

"I like you" she smiled and continued; "I will have you stay another day, and if the others make it, we will have a little competition." She smiled. "We will continue the interview of the next two ponies within an hour. Guards please escort each 3 ponies to their rooms please."

Moonlight woke up at miday glad she got some sleep, she threw on her cloak and went into the throne room, after she was done getting ready. Her ears pricked up to the familiar sound of lightnings voice and orders. "Please leave, go down tje corrode and to ypur left," I instructed to the failed servant.

"The cook will prepare your lunch and dinner for today and the best dessert in Equestria, " She said and flew in looking at the three achieving ponies, Moonlight hissed at the light slightly and settled down in the darkened corridor.

"This way please," she said as two other guardsmen followed her up the stairs with the mare and stallion. "So Fae how do you like the Castle?" She asked wirh enthusiasm but dtill kept the cloak over her body

Personality: Skyzipper is a fun guy. He enjoys flying around for fun and hanging with friends. Although he is laid back, when anypony needs help, he is often the first there. He opens up to pony's pretty easily but he holds grudges, more on the people who attack others then the ones who attack him. He can be reckless though only when he is rushed. He cares about his friends and family more then anything, though he counts royalty among that group.

Appearance:his eyes are Reddish pink, his coat is Ocean blue. Skyzipper's mane and tail are light red. His mane hangs loose down the sides of his neck. His tail rises up and flows while flying and just hovers off the ground whilst walking.

Back Story: Skyzipper was a filly on the streets in ponyvile for this colt hood. At the age of 14 he made his way to canterlot to try and see if he could have more success there. Once he got there he quickly found that some guards were corrupted as he had seen some picking on civilians. He decided to try and fix it so he applied for a job for the royal guard. He quickly found himself doing test that he was sure he was going to fail. He failed all the history tests and all that stuff, but when it came down to combat and flying, he excelled. Through out the course of about 4 years with the royal guard he found himself a captain in there ranks. He has used this power to root all the corruption from the royal guard that he has found. He recently has found himself being transferred from celestias guard over to luna's daughters personal guard through the request of luna.

Lightning flew around the castle and looked around for Skyzipper. When she found him on the second floor balcony, she flew to it and landed softly. "Good Morning." She walked elegantly. She was growing up to be much like her mother. "How is the castle defense's today?" She always had an interest in military and guards. She looked down at the kingdom, which is soon to be hers.

Fae trotted alongside Moonlight, enjoying the batpony's company. She noticed the guards possible unease at her own appearance and strayed away from mentioning it. "The castle is wonderful, and the staff employed here are certainly very hospitable," she said, smiling to punctuate her compliment.

"I've heard a lot of rumours about the chef here too. I am certainly looking forward to sampling the food!"

skyzipper stood at attention when he heard Lighting approach him

"The defenses are solid, there is not much of a chance of anything can get through your highness" he replyed formally

"you need anything princess?" he asked less formally her after giving her the defense report

Moonlight nodded and looked out the window to see SkyZipper, she licked her fangs and thought about him. Bat ponies serve luna not pegasus and just because he is captain of his area doesn't mean he is the best. Plus I'm in charge of most of luna's. She thought and nodded at Fae. "Yes she is the best but I assure you, if you are full after the main course you will always have room for her cake it is the best in equestria," she said distracted a but but pulled her cloak over her face more.

"No, but thank you. I want you to take the day off on sunday." She smiled. She turned around and flew off back into the throne room. Luna and Celestia are going away for a few days for royal duties. That means Lightning will be in charge for the very first time. In just a few days she has matured quite a bit. And she was happy, she has this all under control.

sky smiled at the fact he was being offered a day off.

"Thank you your highness" he replyed as he went back to surveying the city

Lightning walked into the hall, she saw moonlight and the three other ponies. She nodded st them and smiled. When they walked past her, she sighed. She continued to walk. They will have to compete within thirty minutes. She was nervous. "What if they cheat to try and get a job??" She mumbled and looked down. She heard a scream from down the hall way.

The last male tribute was there holding a sharp broken glass bottle at Silka Fae, and the other pony, aa well as Moonlight. "Guards!!!" Lightning called. But as soon as she said it, he started to run away.

The moment sky heard the scream he dashed full speed to the source. He got there missing the attacker by mere milliseconds.

"you all right?" he asked keeping a eye on the area

Angle cake started making the batter for some angle food cake.

"Yes we're fine." Lightning was angry, but kept calm. "Escort him to the dungeon, at least for s few weeks." She turned away and looked at Silka Fae and the other pony. "Looks like you two are the last contestants" she smiled. "Get your stuff together, the competition is in ten minutes. After you're finished, please meet me in the throne room. "

Skyzipper saluted the princess as he escorted the pony down to the dungeon. Once down there he opened a cell and told the pony to get in. He went in and sky locked the door. After that he left the dungeon and walked to the throne room to make sure that didn't happen again.

"Your highness" he said as he took a position at the entrance

Silken Fae was just about to enquire about the cake further, but was immediately cut off by the stallion before her. Before she could even register what was going on, he had fled, and the guards had come running. "Wh-what?" she asked, looking around. "Have I done something?" She said, whipping her head from side to side frantically, her perfectly groomed mane falling down out of it's topknot. She smoothed it down so it still looked presentable and turned to the guards, then to the broken shards of glass on the ground.

Was she somehow in danger here? Or did some pony mix her up with someone else? Was there someone who had a grudge against her for some reason?

Shaken, but ready to prove herself, she nodded in reply to the princess, bowed her head and trotted off to the living quarters to pack up her things. She levitated her trunk and headed off to the throne room, checking to make sure she was presentable before entering.
