Name: Rusty "Copper" Tones (Mostly goes only by his nickname unless he properly knows the person.)

Gender: Male

Age: Older Stallion, old enough to understand most things in life.

Species: Unicorn

Eye colour: A golden yellow.

Character colour: The colour of rusty copper

Mane/Tail/Other: Copper's mane and tail consists of a primary colour of crimson red with two lines of light grey running down both. His mane is short and bulky, most of the hair growing wildly on top of his head and running down the back of his neck. It is lightly spiked up in front and on top with the hair on his neck spiked up and pointing upwards. His tail is of medium length and not as well kept as his mane. Hairs stick up in some places, and looks almost bland as Copper rarely looks after it.

Can be normally seen wearing a wide-brimmed black desperado cowboy hat and a brown cowboy duster and a silver plated harmonica engraved with the brand name of "Rhythm's Harmonics" that he wears around his neck like a pendant.

Physique: More muscular than the average stallion, well built to sustain most injuries he may get, yet he is also lithe and fit, perfect for quick getaways or fast reflexes. He is as tall as the regular stallion his age.

Residence: Does not have a permanent residence as he is known as a drifter, preferring to stay in motels or inns and then leaving when he is "no longer needed". If no other option presents itself, he can make a fire and uses a pocket tent for shelter.

Occupation: Does not have a major occupation that pays, he doesn't need the money for much as he travels, but in order to buy food, water, or other kinds of supplies he plays his harmonica and accepts bits if ponies are generous enough.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark consists of two rusty daggers crossing each other along with an eight note in front. Cutie mark story is under "History".

Unique Traits: He carries a steel dagger, concealed in the left flap in his duster only for emergencies out in the wild or if it he needs to protect somepony. He is also very skilled at using his levitation, as he can pick things up from further away, expertly hold his dagger and contains the dexterity needed to handle a harmonica or dismantle a small device. He is also adept in hoof-to-hoof combat, using his agility to anticipate attacks and deal them out. Can also be very stealthy and sneaky, something he picked up from his youth that he is not proud of.

History: Copper's life had been a mysterious one, full of self-worth and wrong choices. He was born into a poor family from Canterlot in the lower suburbs, barely making it through. He didn't get to go to any type of magic school, so he could only use basic levitation in that time. Wanting to help his family out by getting work as a carriage repairer when he was just a colt was a turning point in his life. There he met his first friends, and they seemed friendly at first, until they showed their true colours as soon as they could trust Copper. They persuaded Copper to make even more money than he did by working in a small group they had robbing from the rich ponies from upper Canterlot, as they had plenty of money already. Copper knew in the back of his mind that this was wrong, but pushed those thoughts away when he thought about finally getting his family out of poverty.

For a few years Copper became more agile and sneaky, honing his abilities in levitation and training his body, making his group of thieving friends very successful and Copper finally got his parents and little sister and better home. It was until a certain heist that turned Copper around and quit his thieving ways due to realizing what he was doing. He and his group had managed to break into a well known, family-run music store and raided everything. They were normally quiet about a break-in, but they had decided to do something a little different and rounded the family from their rooms and started taunting them. What made Copper realize his actions was that the family was a lot like his own, the parents, older brother and little sister. If they stole everything they owned to satisfy their own needs, that would bring the victims down to where Copper was at years ago. He tried reasoning with his friends that what they were doing was wrong, but they quickly turned on Copper and disowned him from the group. After stealing everything from the family, they made off without Copper. He wanted to help the now poor family of four, but didn't know how. How could he when he was the one helping the thieves?

The family was shaken and tried to console each other, so Copper decided to help with that. The thieves missed a small, silver plated harmonica and started playing for them. Unbeknownst to him, Copper was really good and calmed down the family with his music. It was then on that he knew what to do. Copper notified the Royal Guard of his former friends and their deeds and arrested them, returning all the stolen property and bits to their rightful owners, especially the musical family. Copper would have gotten the same treatment, but his honesty and motives to why he did what he did and his assistance in catching the thieves made him a small hero, and made him promise in exchange for not going to prison, that he would continue to help out ponies like he did across Equestria. After accepting and announcing that he had changed for the better and wanted to help through honesty and true friendship instead of lies and thieving, his cutie mark had appeared and Copper started his new life of traveling Equestria, stopping by each town and quietly offering his assistance to anypony that needed it, along with the little reminder of that silver harmonica that helped him discover who he truly was. He has continued traveling and offering any kind of help to anypony that needs it for many years, as he is an older stallion than most.

Character Summary/Personality: Copper is quite the character when you first meet him. He is generally a warm, friendly and wise pony who has any and all advice for anypony who wants it. He can be a bit brash and have an intimidating appearance about him, but ponies who are brave enough to get to know him normally walk away with a life lesson under their belt and a smile on their face. He is typically good at making friends, his friendliness, generosity, and harmonica skills helping him out.

When working, he shows more of his intimidating side, going for a more head-on approach to dealing with whatever comes up. First he tries to scare the individual with his looks or mannerisms(mainly wit or charm), and if that doesn't work, then he gets down to business, using bribes, his wisdom, or his agility to get what he wants for the greater good. After completing a task for someone, or a problem, he doesn't accept any payment and exclaims that their thanks is payment enough.

On a regular day on the town, Copper is normally wandering the streets, hanging out in inns or watering holes. If not, he will be playing his harmonica, gathering bits for supplies and food.

Copper worries about his former group of friends, as he gets nightmares about what they might do to him if they escape from prison. He also constantly worries about his family and their well-being, making sure to check up on them twice every month. He even brings along his younger sister sometimes and she accompanies him when Copper is feeling lonely.
