Lux Posted June 8, 2014 Report Share Posted June 8, 2014 Watermelon Gush was over the moon excited as she rode on the cart filled to the brim with watermelons and assorted other fruit through the gates of Canterlot, her father Fruit Salad pulling the wagon and her mother Sweet Honeydew walking alongside in case any fruit or worse Watermelon decided to take a tumble off the wagon after an unexpected rut in the road. The adult ponies had for years sold their seasonal harvests in the nearby capital city, finding Garden Gait too small of a place to do so especially considering many ponies worked as farmers there. This time however was going to be special as today Watermelon Gush would be helping sell the various fruits!"Are we almost there?" Watermelon said bouncing up and down on the fruit pile."Yes we are," her father said smiling, "Are you ready to help sell our crops?" "Yes indeed!"In a short time the stand was set up and Watermelon stood in the front counter, albeit with the aid of a stool, waiting for customers to arrive. Who knows, maybe she would make new friends or even sell fruit to ponies who were famous like the Princesses. The possibilities in the filly's mind were infinite!
