Unique Traits: Uses mostly runic magic, specializes in Ice magic. Enjoys reading and flying using a rune he found that allows him to have ethereal wings for a short amount of time. Also carries around a deck of enchanted cards he throws as his chosen form of self defense. Chooses to go by Ace.

History: Frozen Ace grew up in Canterlot. He was raised by his father, as his mother died in childbirth. His father was an extremely successful gambler and instead of hiring a foalsitter would simply take Ace with him, which caused Ace's love for gambling early on. He like his father, was very successful. Nut that brought a lot of unwanted attention. Between nobles claiming they had too much money and the poorer ponies trying to swindle and steal the bits that he and his father would have put towards charity anyways. During one such encounter when he was older a stallion with a knife jumped him, leaving him with nothing but his coat, hat, and deck of cards.

Deciding to take action to ensure his own safety he began researching runic magic and enchantments, quickly becoming quite skilled at their use. He also drew runic circles on the back of every card in that deck. Hearts healed, Aces cut through anything, Clubs would deliver a large amount of force to the area of impact, Diamonds would form a protective barrier, Jokers exploded. He got his Cutie Mark a week later when he rendered a thief unconscious using his cards.

After a few more years of fending of nobles, criminals, and players of the political game he had finally had enough. He moved to Ponyville and began to teach runic magic and enchantments.

Character Personality: Awkward around new ponies and strangers. However once he gets to know somepony he warms up extremely fast. He also won't hesitate to help anyone who needs it.

Character Summary: Frozen Ace is generally helpful, respectful, and nice, but will defend himself or others if the need arises. Will often be found playing cards in his spare time and is extremely good at most card games. He currently lives in Ponyville where he teaches runic and enchantment magic for a living. When he was younger he and his father had to defend themselves from large numbers of thieves and other criminals and so he is quite adept at combat and spends at least an hour a day training with his hooves, cards, and magic.He won't go out of his way to make friends but enjoys the ones he gets.
