Cutie Mark: A pink spiral ramp juggling three separate wheels.

When Axle was still wrapped around the warm hands of childhood, she was not like herself now. Oh no, she was way different when she was still a young foal. She was this quiet, anti-social, nerd that never got along with the others. She was mostly out of place and never gets to play any of their games or activities. She is usually stuck in a book. This thing seems to be her only friend in foalhood.

She usually spends her time in the back of the class, keeping herself busy with reading and writing. And when class is over, she hangs out at the park, which is nearby her school, to do some trotting around, enjoying the view, play a game with herself, or just to think. This was usually her routine. For it was peaceful and quiet.

That was until a foal brought a pair of skates to class. The girls didn't think much of it, they would shrug it off and continue coloring everything pink. Even she herself, wasn't that interested of their new play toy. Besides, what's so special about a pair of shoes with wheels? Not much. At the end of that said day, she went to the place she usually goes to - the park. She was ready to enjoy some peaceful reading. When she got there, she found something different about her post, it was filled with boys and roller skates. The very last thing she wanted to see. If she couldn't get along with the girls, then it never goes well with the boys. Though some of them talk with her, but she just shrugs them off.

Even though one of her favorite places was crowded, she still insisted on staying there and she just tuned out the happy laughs, bumps, and thuds, around her. But even though, she just can't help but look up from her book to observe their movements. She studied how they balanced on the thing, how the maneuvered it, how they stop, how they turn, how they control their speed. Everything. For every day that passed, her interest grew on the wheeled...thing. She even went so far as to leave her books and go to the park for the only said reason. This happened for a while. And as time goes on, her knowledge increased. Some of the boys even befriended her! That's nice! Though she never tried placing her hoof on a skate, she knew of all the positions, movements, and everything else you needed to know when using these.

One day, she was in her usual spot. Observing the boys, and sometimes girls, as they practiced, or showed off their skating skills. She chatted with them once in a while. Yep, everything was going well. She also noticed a new face. Hmmm...Maybe he wants to learn too? Studying from his wobbly stance and horrified face, I think its safe for her to say that he was new to the experience. The others were teaching him to skate. No problems here. After a while, the new foal got frustrated and impatient. He would go to a tantrum once in a while. And because of this, the others decided that they should take a break. While the others were chatting and joking around, the new foal sat in the corner with an angry and frustrated look in his face. Then, he did something that made Axle's eyes nearly pop out of her sockets.

He wore the skates, lost his balance, and involuntarily zoomed downhill. And he was heading straight into a tree. Axle jumped off her seat, her heart beating intensely as her breathing increased. He has no idea how to turn or stop. And if is she doesn't do anything...she shook her head. The other's were too far. And she wouldn't be able to catch up on him if she galloped. She did what she had to do. She took the nearest pair of skates she can find and went after the poor foal. Her stance was a bit wobbly, her hooves kept flying everywhere, and she almost fell down, like, three times! But thanks to her stock knowledge, she was able to keep herself standing. She kicked her hoof and went a bit faster. She turned, almost falling over, and bumped into the foal's side, making them tumble out of the tree's way. She saved him. By the time they got up, the others were skating to them, their faces filled with worry. She said she was fine and that the new foal was too. They started praising her and telling her that she was so cool. She started to feel weird as a new wave of confidence surged in her.

"What's that in your flank dudette?"

With a confused face, she looked over to it. Holy fudge! She has gotten her cutie mark! She was so happy! So were the others! They started to teach her everything they knew. And after quite a while, she became awesome at it.

History: Axle Spin was born in Appleloosa. Where she grew up as a baby, until a very young foal. Her stay there wasn't long, for her family was quite protective of her. They also needed to move to a more advanced place in order for her father to gain a better job. So that her parents can support their family. As a result, they moved to Canterlot. There, not only her father got a better job, but also her mother. Because of this, they have become quite a wealthy family. Which made Axel a little spoiled.

Also, due to their status, she grew up in a very leisurely way. She always gets what she wanted, like books, toys, and everything a foal would dream of having. But even though she got all these things, she never got much friends when she was still a foal. So her childhood was compromised of being locked in her own room reading, or playing with herself.

After getting her cutie mark, she was more social and outgoing. She has even told her parent's about her love for skating. And of course, her parents bought her a pair. So, on her filly years, she has spent her time being more social. She also spent most of her free time practicing her skills and sometimes teaching others on how to skate. She also tried to teach herself tricks.

When she reached marehood, her parents has given her bits in order to start a new life by herself. She moves to the big city known as Manehattan, and rented an apartment there. The bits her father has given her was only enough for her trip, her rent, and food for a few weeks. She was worried of the worst. Also, since she was spoiled before, it was quite a bother on trying to find a job. So, to give herself a safe start, she started earning some bits by being a private tutor of a filly who wanted to learn how to handle a wheeled mechanism. She did this for a while until she was comfortable with working.

One of her clients even noticed that she desperately needed a better job and more bits. So, he suggested on working on a nearby shop that sold her favorite items. She happily agreed and did just that. On the days on no work, she would go back to tutoring and street performing. As to this, she has become more stable with her bits that she was even able to buy her own pair of skates!

From here, Axle Spin dreams of moving from a bigger job on the near future. And like her parents, she wished to be successful. What is she going to do with the bits you asked? Open her very own skate park of course!

Character Summary: Axle Spin is spilling with self-confidence. She boasts that she is the best and is never afraid to show off. She is a fun-loving pony and would sometimes go as far as to annoy a pony just so she can escape the horrible grasps of boredom. She's quite mischievous and would find great amusement at getting into somepony's skin. She has the tendency of flirting without noticing. She also has a habit of winking at anypony she thinks is cool. She usually doesn't mean anything to this. It's kind of her way of being nice. She can be extremely sassy if provoked due to her spoiled childhood. But if she's in a skater mood, she might be a bit...oh who am I kidding...she can be boyish at times.

Axle is amazing at skating. She also is good at maneuvering anything that has wheels in it. She excels at teaching her own skills too. She knows the ins and outs of her favorite item and can also repair a broken or dented wheel or part. She's a speedy one because of her skates and is awesome at doing tricks with it. Due to her wearing something that has wheels most of the time, she has high balance and can use it even when not using her skates.

She gets her motivation on the thought of what things can she accomplish, what feats will she overcome when she will be the very best at her talent. With this, she always looks forward to her next practice session and will always work hard. She dreams of someday owning her own skate park. Where other skilled, or newbie rollers can have fun with her.

Axle loves the thing she does. She loves the feeling of wind in her mane. She loves hearing other's praises at her. Telling her how awesome and cool she is. She also loves showing off her skills hearing the cheers and whistles of the crowd she's showing off too. She also just can't resist befriending a pony that has the skills she has. She's a sucker for sweets and has a sweet tooth. But what she loves the most, is seeing others learn new skills because of her.

She isn't fund of too serious ponies who can't take a joke. She also hates failing. If she fails at a new trick she tries to learn, she puts up a tantrum and drags a poor random pony to listen to her rants. She dislikes bitter things and absolutely hates it when she somehow embarrasses herself in front of a crowd or pony.

Axle behaves in a playful, mischievous kind of way. She is very social and never feels shy or hesitant about meeting new faces. She sometimes makes herself childish purposely just so she can get a reaction from somepony. And if that doesn't work, she can always annoy them. It works most of the time. And she loves it. Axle Spin has a side that isn't mostly shown. She can be very kind and caring to the ponys she is close to. Thought she treats others in a way that gives them a thought that she doesn't care, it's totally worth it to stay with her long enough be her true friend. But even though, those close to her will most probably get twice the torment from her.

Even though Axle behaves this way, (and is really awesome), she has her faults and downsides. Though she is a very patient pony, it doesn't last forever. And when it finally snaps, she goes into a merciless, painful, loud rant on the cause of her patience being sucked out. Resulting on her hurting another soul's feelings. She also is very reckless and does things without thinking. Resulting on her injuring somepony, does something that benefits nopony, or otherwise she just does something completely stupid and immature.

Her main fear is failing. What if she fails at performing infront of a crowd? What if she isn't able to teach a client? What if she fails at she does best?!?! She also a fear of being embarrassed or being bested. When this happens, she usually feels like she isn't good at anything and is worthless. Her not-so-obvious fear, is a fear of heights. Good thing she isn't a pegasus. she can't explain it, but she just feels like she's about to fall to her demise when she gets too high.

Overall, Axle Spin is a confident, loving-one-self kind of pony that can sometimes flirt without noticing. She's great at skating and can be an awesome friend when you two get close enough.
