The giant wooden box suddenly became incased with ice and shattered sending ice shards everywhere. Ash blasted them with an advanced fire spell, managing to kill one of them before the rest became large earthen creatures. "Where the hell did he find these things?"

The horde began to get pushed back by Canterlot and the others. Silent smirked at Kane evilly. "Catch me if you can." He said as he teleported and the horde retreated over a hill. Canterlot's army charged after them, but Kane stood confused for a moment. Finally he realized what was going on. "Wait! It's a trap!" He tried to call to him men, but it was too late. As soon as Canterlot's forces got over the hill, they were met with a whole new army numbering in the hundreds of thousands. Arrows and artillery rained down on Canterlot's unsuspecting forces, butchering them.

A large shield formed over the Canterlot forces as Stryker cast his Absolute Shield spell, "Azure! Now!" He yelled out as he expanded his shield around the entire Equestrian force. Azure flew back, cutting a large rope. Suddenly a meteor size rock loomed over head, it landed ontop of the Horde and sent a massive shockwave that blew over the barbarian forces. Strykers eyes and nose started to bleed as he braced against the sheer force of the enormous rock.

Suddenly a massive blast of light and shadow blew apart most of the creatures, Nara and Sting stood proudly together grining as they had been preparing for awhile. Steel slammed into another crashing to the ground.

Silent grit his teeth in anger as his plans had been foiled at every turn. A horde general blew a horn for retreat.

"They're falling back, my king." A soldier said to Kane. Kane didn't look at him, and just kept his gaze on Silent. "Follow them." He said. "What do you mean sir?" Kane looked at the soldier. "They're falling back to the Crystal Empire to the north. We're taking it back. This will be the turning point of the war. Either we gain the upper hand here or die trying."

Shade rained down green and purple fire on the horde army as they ran. Arial finished off the last of the beasts with a bellowing gust of razor wind, "Come here you coward, face your death with some courage!" She yelled angrily. Oakly put his hooves together and sucked in, "Ice Style, Artic Rain Jutsu." He blew out a swirling cloud of icicles down on the horde injuring or killing multiples of them.

Eventually the Empire came into view and more Horde poured from the city to join the retreating forces. They charged back towards the Canterlot armies and artillery from the city rained down on them. A shadowy vine burst from the ground and struck Arial, dragging her down to the ground. Silent stood over her angrily. "I took it easy on your weak little snow princess, I won't be so kind to you." He said coldly.

Suddenly a kuni hit the ground just next to them, Oakly appeared swinging around with a swirling blue shuriken sphere in his hoof, he blasted Silent far away crashing into the city. Arial stood up shaking herself, "Thank you child, He's gotten more powerful, I'm afraid he's out if my leage now." she said with a frown. "We are powerful in our own way, and true power is earned, not givin. You focus on the Horde Army, leave Silent to Kane, Shadow and I, we'll keep him off you." Oakly told her before flickering away.

Shadow landed next to the Horde artillery and began striking down the weapons one by one, the other Elementals helped protect the Canterlot forces from the artillery fire and brace the reinforcements.

Canterlot's army broke through and began to enter the Empire, fighting their way through the massive city. Blood landed in the middle of a crowd of horde and began to cut them down.

Kane entered the city with his forces as Ash landed next to him. "Let's go find him. He's going to pay for killing Snow." She said angrily.

"So what do you think dear Traxy and Soul? Your sons are quite the legacy, of course they're nothing compared to you two." Rose said as she admired Trax and Soul from her chair. A screen was up and displayed the battle switching from everyone in the battle. "I guess thousands of years of no pleasure is more torturous than you'd think." Trax mumbled sternly, "You wouldnt know the half of it Darling, why not save me from my torture?" Rose asked slumping over her chair seductivly, Trax sighed facehoofing himself.

Soul rolled his eyes. "Decades of chaos and war at the hands of some slutty demon trying to get some. Truly amazing."

Suddenly the entire city went dark as a shadowy beam shot up from the Crystal Palace. Any crystal pony in the battle fell to the ground in agony. Kane saw Silent just ahead sinking shadowy tendrils into the Crystal Heart. "Take your armies and leave now, or I will destroy this entire city and everyone in it." He said coldly to Kane and Ash. He grit his teeth as his magical grip tightened, causing some buildings to collapse.

Killjoy scoffed "must be hard when you have force ponies against their will to even get it." she said just looking at the screen. "I sense that this game is close to its end...and your fun will come crashing down upon you. even with our power, you will find that your games will be in the end, fruitless. Would this be your first loss?"

Rose chuckled, "My first loss was when I failed to kill Luna and Tia eons ago, guess you cant win em all. My goal is not to completely destroy Equestria, just put into chaos. They'll rebuild, like new grass after a Forest fire. As for my lustiness, well excuse me if I find Stallions such as yourselves, extremely attractive." She explained giving Soul and Trax a wink. Trax watched intently, "She does have a point, sometimes greener things rise from the ashes. But you are tipping the scales of balance."

Oakly landed next to Kane, "Say the word, and I can get the heart to safety."

"Let me amend my previous statement...decades of chaos and war at the hands of some slutty, poor-mans Discord trying to get some." Soul scoffed. "I would normally accept the compliment, sweetheart, but based on the very, VERY unwanted activities you've put us through, I can tell you with 100% certainty that Twilight would put you to shame when the lights are down." He said with a smirk.

Blood landed with Kane, Ash and Oakly. "On three." He whispered. "1....2......3!" He shouted as he and Blood zoomed ahead and clotheslined Silent as Ash burned away the shadows. "Get the heart!" Ash called to Oakly.

"Tipping the balance and forcing a giant to put it's foot down." Killjoy said implying about Radz "families aren't happier after loss, Trax, lives of ponies aren't like grass and weeds."

Rose looked at Soul with a wicked grin, "Maybe we can test that little theory dear Soul, Twily's still looks like she's young since she became an alicorn, and your looking even more handsome than ever. I can learn to share, or you can watch, I like to swing both ways now and then." She finished poofing next to Soul and pressing close against him, freezing his body so he couldn't move. Trax ignored them, "No, I learned that after I lost Dropshot, then you, and after Soul died I didnt know what to without Tavi by my side. Unconsciously I tried so hard to see Kane and Radz just like I saw you and Soul, but I should've seen them for who they are, even after many years I still wasn't ready to let you go Kill." He told her still watching the screen.

Oakly caught the heart before it hit the ground, he then drew a kuni and flickered away. Shadow came in hard from above tackling down Silent with Blood and Kane.

With the help of the Elementals and Azures guidence, the Canterlot forces were pushing the horde back, their artillery support now gone.

Soul closed his eyes and sighed as Rose harassed him. "I don't know, Rose. You're just lacking so much of what Twily has. For example, you have the flank of a teenage filly. Nothing to hold on to I'm afriad." He replied with another smirk. He couldn't do anything to resist her, so he might as well insult her appearance.

Ash ignited the area, burning the shadows away and causing light to return to the city. "Hurry, replace it!" Silent glared at Shadow, Blood and Kane around him before blasting them all away and disappearing as his army retreated out of the city.

Oakly flickered back placing the heart back, he then faced in Silents direction in case he came back for it. Shadow flew up to him, "This day is ours."

Rose took Soul by the head and threw him to the ground, she then sat on directly on his face, "How do you like my flank now meany!"

"Hard to believe its her whos been pulling the strings." Trax muttered flattening his ears in shame.

Kane removed his helmet as he saw order restored to the Empire. "Send a message back to Canterlot...Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor can return." He ran his hoof through his name as he finally had a moment to breath. "I never though we could actually do this....we're not on the losing side anymore."

Ash stomped the head of a dying horde soldier as she rejoined the other Elementals. "Snow would be proud of us if she was here...." She said as she sat down to catch her breath.

Soul struggled to breath and flailed his arms, trying to move her off of him. A nearby screen showed Silent and the Horde retreating.

"Aw, one Son rises while the other falls, you should be proud Soul. Oopsies." Rose giggled realizing he couldnt respond.

Steel sat down next to her, "She's proud of you now Ash, she smiles even now from the heavens."

Soul finally forced Rose off of him and gasped for air. "What is wrong with you?" He asked between breathes.

Ash smiled and hugged Steel. She didn't even think about what she was doing, but she was too happy that they had won and both of them made it. "Thanks, Steel."

"Respect the flank handsome." Rose told him before hopping over to Trax and Killjoy like a little schoolfilly and sat next to them watching the screens. Since any move they made towards Rose was stopped by her magic, they pretty much just tried to ignore her the best they could. Trax flattened his ears and threw on a look of annoyance as Rose jumped onto his back and sat on him.

Steel looked at her in surprise and didnt know how to react so her put his hooves around her awkwardly. Shadow and Oakly landed near Kane with Shade behind them, Azure arrived with news that Stryker was going to be okay after straining himself on his shield magic. "Silents on the run, and with no forts or cities to hold his army, they'll be in open. The Elementals could do alot of damage on some air raids." Shadow said walking up to Kane.

"Sometimes an opponent fights the hardest when they have nothing left to lose." Kane said. "But we're definitely on the winning side now. Blood appeared near them. "Seems your brother is losing his mind as well as the war." He said. Kane turned to him. "Yes, but he always has-" he stopped when he saw Blood. "Good lord, man! Have you seen yourself?" He said in shock as Blood has multiple arrows sticking out of his side. Blood noticed them and shrugged. "Hm. I thought I felt something in my ribs."

Mapleshade came up and used her magic to yank a couple out of his side but gave him a kiss on thr cheek. Shadow chuckled, "Yeah thats normal, a few of us are different from any normal bat ponies, genetic enhancements give us a higher pain tolerance and faster healing. Just look at Ragnorak." He said pointing behind him. Ragnorak stood still as only his eyes were visble through the thick shell of arrows stuck in his body, "Any of ye make a bloody porcupine joke, and ye gettin a hoof in the face." He grumbled as he waddled away. Ally landed nearby and started walking up to them, "Hows it going there porcupine butt?" She said comically glancing at Ragnorak, "Ight but she's the only one!" He yelled back at them. "Silents army is retreating back east, we dont have the recourses to give chase, but a couple random raiding parties could definitely do them some damage." She said coming up to them. "Small teams of our heavy hitters, it would help weaken them." Azure said nodding in agreement.

Blood removed the remaining arrows, making a face of mild discomfort rather than pain, before turning to Maple and kissing her back. "Alright, as soon as we've recovered, we're going to chip away at his army as he falls back to the sea. He doesn't have long now."

"I'll lead the first party with my Bat ponies." Shadow volunteered.

Kane nodded. "Thank you Shadow. Will the elemental order strike next?" He asked turning to Ash and Steel. "Of course, your highness." Ash said respectfully.

The horde feebly set up camp after they had retreated from the Empire. Silent went to a nearby river alone and stared into the waters, seeing his reflection. A look of despair was on his face.
