Livewire had honestly drifted into a state of partial unconciousness. She had been sitting there not speaking but stareing at the ground as she sat there. Her half lidded gaze and numbed senses had gotten to her and in all retrospect she wished that the world wasn't such a pile of tart age like it had become.

The constant struggle for food, water and shelter had taken its toll on her and every day it got worse and worse. Good ponies died because others were cruel and decided it would be "Fun" to kill them. She had seen too many good ponies come and go and she didn't want to see anymore of it. She began wondering if she should just escape from these two once she received the remedy. So she didn't have to see them die too.

Livewire had stayed in this trance of depression up until she finnaly snapped out of it and looked around in confusion before rubbing her eyes.

As much as DRIFTER wanted to have faith in her new companions, the truth was she hadn't been around them long enough to tell if their antics tended toward the productive or the dangerous.  She also had no idea how much Cloud actually knew medicine, and how much he thought he did.  As such, it was with a great if somewhat ashamed relief when the mare awoke.

Though this still presented its own challenges.  The mare still seemed disoriented, which could be a natural part of healing or a sign of more damage.  This was further complicated by the fact that the mare seemed to have some difficulty speaking, instead communicating through magic.  That was all well and good while healthy, but while she was exhausted and injured it could not be a good idea.  DRIFTER would have to come up with something.

After a moment's pause, in equal parts to let the mare get her bearings and to actually think up what to say, DRIFTER spoke.  “Are you feeling alright?  You can tap your hoof once for yes, twice for no.”  It was clumsy, but it should function.

Livewire looked to Drifter for a few moments. Her eyes blinking a bit as she heard the words. She closed her eyes and exhaled before tapping her hoof twice. She was dizzy. She opened her eyes and spun her hoof a small bit in the air to simulate dizziness.

DRIFTER looked between Cloud Runner and the wounded mare.  She kept a watchful eye out, and was ready to spring into action at the first sign of trouble, whether it was from an outside source or between members of the party.

For the moment however, everything seemed under control.  Or at least, those elements that were not, DRIFTER lacked any means to deal with.  She didn't have any specific medicine programming, and the few remedies she'd picked up as part of wandering the wastes likely wouldn't be able to treat any serious injury like they had on their hooves.

And so DRIFTER watched and waited, ready to act but not actually moving, yet.

Cloud carefully places the remedy on the wound. He starts to rub it in. "Let me know if you are feeling any kind of burning sensation. If you start to feel it, it means that the remedy is working." Cloud says as he continues to rub the remedy into Livewire's fur.

Everything seemed to be going according to plan, as much as there was a plan.  Cloud was treating the mare a lot more gently when actually applying the salve, and the mare...well, it remained to be seen if and to what degree she might get better, but it seemed at least like she wouldn't be getting any worse.

DRIFTER continued to stand guard.  She did her some faint noise from somewhere outside the building, but aside from simply noting it she brushed it aside for now.  Chances are it was just some bit of debris settling.  And on the off chance that it wasn't, all she'd manage by chasing it down is either leaving Cloud Runner and his patient vulnerable, or interrupting the treatment to defend themselves.

Livewire let him run in the ointment and exhaled as the burn came. Soon her tired muscles began to renew, her energy began to came back. She felt any wounds fuze and finnaly felt like a new pony!

DRIFTER shook her head at the offer of the weapon.  “Thanks, but it's better if I stay here,” pointing a hoof at the injured mare, “at least until her treatment's finished.”  Much as she was curious, given that she was the only one not needed for medical help at the moment, it would be irresponsible of her to run off when she could be on guard.

It's not as though she would really know what to do with a sniper rifle, either.  She only had combat programming for her 'natural abilities', and while she was confident she could improvise something if need or desire arose...well, she'd caused enough accidents in her travels.

DRIFTER would stay put until Cloud Runner was finished.  In the meantime, her gaze shifted between the doorways, and the wounded mare.

Cloud finishes treating her wound & takes his Desert Eagle out & stands next to DRIFTER. "I'm finished addressing her wound, keep close, & watch my six." Cloud says as he slowly looks around the corner w/ a reflective miror to show as to what's right around the corner.

Livewire watched the two as they talked back and forth. To tell the truth she figured that they would have been murdering eachother by now with the way they all got along. It was a bond held together by tape and the tape was not very strong.

She sighed and gently stood before stretching herself out and flapping her wings a bit just before looking to them and blinking. She was ready to go.

'Ask and ye shall receive', apparently.  No sooner had DRIFTER explained that she wasn't leaving until Cloud and/or the injured mare could defend themselves, when Cloud announced he was finished,  The...alicorn?...quickly drew a weapon and proceeded to the hallway, asking DRIFTER to cover him.  Wow, for an organic, he sure was eager to jump into danger.  DRIFTER wondered to what extent he actually wanted her help and to what extent he just felt the need to include her.  She quickly decided it didn't matter, given that her hesitation in the first place was to make sure someone was around to keep an eye on the injured mare, and simply wrote it off as more of Cloud Runner's odd-ness.

DRIFTER looked over at the wounded mare, who actually seemed to be doing pretty well herself.  At least, given what she'd been through.  Not that DRIFTER really knew, having only met the mare after the worst of it, but now she was getting off track.  The mare (previously injured mare?) stood what DRIFTER thought was a little unsteadily to her hooves.  The robot wasn't entirely sure if the mare should be walking about just yet, but she wasn't really in the mood to argue the point.  It was hard enough for this group to stay organized as it was.

DRIFTER took up a position behind Cloud, hopefully in a position to cover both ponies if it came to it, and then she waited.

And waited.

And waited.

After several minutes of nothing, DRIFTER felt that if something was there, it was waiting for them to move first.  So, she took it upon herself to poke her head out into the hall.

Nothing.  Just an empty hall.  After a moment's careful observation, she noted that a small chunk of ceiling had fallen in, widening a hole that was already there.  "Looks clear," she said, keeping her voice quiet just in case, "for now, at least."

"I wouldn't be saying that right now, look." Cloud says as he points to a Raider pony. "Stay here, I'm going to go kill that one & you stay here to cover to see if you can spot anymore using the high powered sight of my sniper rifle." Cloud says as he disappears & reappears right behind the Raider pony. What he does next is so bloody, that it can't be described without only one word. That word is wow. Cloud's actions seem to have affected his common sense as he continues to look for more & more fights & enimies for him to kill & loot.
