"He was bought from me, I no longer own him. Now, I suggest you get to work, Doctore." Black said not wanting Soul to ask more questions.

"There is less space between that I love and I, but my feelings on the matter have no worth. I am but a Slave serving a new Dominus, simple as that." Trax said calmly before he bowed slightly, "Breakfast is ready Your Majesty, both Queens are already in attendence, as well as Madame Melody. I am to escort you."

Soul got down to eye level with Black and glared at him. "Who?" He asked of Trax's buyer, his face showing he wasn't leaving without an answer.

Twilight chuckled to herself. "That's funny, the big, bad, mysterious gladiator trainer got promoted to holding royal hands everywhere they go." She said standing up. "Guess we better go then, don't want to keep the 'queens' waiting."

The guards behind Soul put their hands on their swords, Black waved them down, "Even under Nergals watch, you were always a little disobedient. Use that tone with me again, and I'll make sure you regret it. But for your sake, why not ask your lover? I'm sure she's probably speaking with him now. Your dismissed Doctore." Black waved his hand for the guards to escort Soul away.

Trax walked with Twilight down the hall flanked by two guards, he turned his head to them, "Your relieved of escort." He said to them calmly, at first they hesitated but then headed off. Trax then looked ahead again, "You should know that I hold no pride in being a slave, and being bought by the Queens was not what I had in mind as a reward. You Madame Melody are good friends correct?"

Soul brushed past the guards and headed for the door. "You should watch your own tone. Don't forget that without myself and the other gladiators you'd have nothing. Don't forget my blood makes you rich." He said before he left the room to return to the training grounds, seeing as it was now his job.

"Indeed I do. She's quite fond of you." Twilight answered with a small smirk. "Let me ask you something, Trax. If you had your freedom, what would you do with it?"

The Gladiators all paused seeing Soul walk towards them with, Kaveck came up to him holding Traxs old chestplate and whip, "For you, Doctore."

Trax paused, then looked out over the city, "I'd marry the one I love, and never let her go. Then, I'd save every Slave I can, and take them far away from this foresaken Country." He looked back to Twilight, "Apologies, I spoke out of place, forget I said anything." before he started walking again, he tilted his head to the side, By the way, your every bit as beautiful as Soul said you were." He said nonchalantly as he kept walking.

Soul took the chestplate and began to put it on. "Damn him. He sold Trax to the Queens. He threw away Trax's life to servitude." He said annoyed to Kaveck frustrated but not loud enough to where other's would hear.

Twilight suddenly blushed furiously and looked away. "He....he still feels that way about me?" She said quietly playing with her hair. She cleared her throat and looked back to Trax. "You're not out of place...I wish for this to end as much as you do. I do not support their decision to have slavery and gladiator fights. Princess Cadence felt the same way, but you saw how that ended up."

Kaveck cursed under his breath, "Curse the Gods, a great warrior such as him should not be used as such." He said angrily, he then looked around cautiously, "At chow, meet me by the cliff." He whispered before getting back to training.

"She was brave to speak out, not many have the courage to stand up against an Empire." Trax said before turning around and putting his finger to his lips, telling her to shush. He then opened the double doors to the dining room, Tavi sat around the corner of the table on Lunas side with an open seat on Celestias. "Princess Twilight is here, Dominus." Trax announced stepping aside to let Twilight in. Celestia and Luna waved to her, Tavi didnt look afraid that love eyes would give Trax away.

Soul nodded as he took the whip and looked around at the gladiators. "Trax is gone, I am Doctore now. You take orders from me. Continue the training." He ordered. Kane was shocked to hear that his master was now their trainer. "Then...what happened to your father, Oak?" Soul approached the two and sighed. "Oak, Black sold your father. He serves the Queens now."

Twilight nodded her thanks to Trax before entering the room. "Good morning, my queens. Good morning Tavi." She said as she took the seat next to Celestia.

Oak looked down tightning his grip on his spear, "The Spirits have cursed my family, I finally find my Father after 19 years only to lose him again." He shook his head clear, "What did Kaveck say to you? I saw him whisper his words."

"Goodmorning Twily," Tia leaned in with a smirk, "Did you like our little wake up call we sent ya." She asked in a hushed tone twitching her head at Trax as he stood vigilantly at the end of the table. Tavi kept glancing up at him then looking away with a slight blush. Luna kept commenting to Tavi about Traxs chiseled and toned muscular body, this made Tavi blush even more. Even Trax started to grow a little red.

Two guards watched from the doors.

A. "If I were that Slave- I mean the Captain, by the Gods I'll never get over that. Anyway, if I was him, I'd snake my way into each of their beds."

B. "Ha, I'd aim higher get them all at the same time. By the Gods can you imagine. Honestly he doesn't even have to try, he barely speaks and their eating out of his palms."

A. "Hey, 100 Bits says the Captain will Lay with at least one them by tomorrow."

B. "He's too resilient, 150 and you got a bet."

Both Guards turned their heads as they heard giggling. Luna had called Trax over and was taking Tavi's hand and putting it on Traxs abs, Tavi looked away getting bright red and putting her other hand between her legs and looking away nervously. Trax just an annoyed blushed face. Both guards went grim with jealousy.

A. "That,"

B. "D$&@!"

"He wants me to meet him later. For what I don't know." Soul said. "Hopefully it's better news than this."

Twilight had tried to ignore the harassment the princesses were giving Trax and Tavi, but after a while she couldn't take it anymore. "God dammit, stop! Both of you! I'm trying to eat breakfast and you're making me want to vomit!" She shouted at Celestia and Luna.

Celestia and Luna starred at Twilight with wide eyes, Tavi was a little taken back from Twilights outburst. Trax was also surprised and stepped back slowly. The Guards rubbed the back of their heads and looked in different directions. "Twily... That was a little rude, we were only having a little fun before we start the days duties." Celestia said with a hurt tone. "Honestly Twilight what are we doing thats so wrong? We work practically all day, we just wanted some laughs before the work begins." Luna asked confused at Twilights anger. Tavi leaned over shaking her head for Twilight to lie and just ignore it, they might get suspicious about why.

"Whatever it is, you get us in on it. I saw my Father and Kaveck speeking alot together private along with Stryker too." Oak pointed out.

Twilight disregarded Tavi's motion and glared at them angrily. "What are you doing wrong?! Really?! That's called sexual harassment! You throw regular people in jail for it all the time! Yeah, sure, Trax is a servant, he does whatever you say, but what about poor Tavi?! She's our honored guest, and you're going to disrespect her and embarrass her like that?! Or is this yet another law that you can just trample over and do what you want because you're Queens and you're just magically innocent of everything?!" She said in a vicious tirade before sitting back down and groaning in annoyance with her face in her hands.

"Will do." Soul said before turning away to train the other gladiators.

A couple hours later Twilight was under room arrest by two guards at every door. Tavi sat with Twilight on her bed, "Well, at least its your own room and not a cell." She said with a fake smile. Trax, standing just a few feet away half hidden in the shadows, facepalmed himself. "I don't believe thats the right thing to say in this instance." Tavi shot him an angry glare, "You wanna repeat that, Mr. muscles?" Trax shrunk back at her cold words. Only the Alpha Female can put an Alpha into submission.

Kaveck waited out near the cliff looking out into the distance, "When I was a boy, I'd dream that I could fly like a hawk. Now I wish the same, so I could escape this hełł hole." He said nonchalantly.

Twilight sighed. "Don't worry, I'm not in any real trouble. They've done this to me before, they get mad at something I say and 'punish' me. I may not have taken the title of Queen but I'm still their equal. They can't do too much." She looked to Tavi. "I'm sorry I got you involved, Tavi. I just couldn't let them do that to you guys."

Soon Soul arrived at the cliff, Blade and Moonshield had followed him. "I'm here, Kaveck. What's this about?"

Tavi giggled, "Its a show for them my dear, they don't know that Trax is with me when night falls upon us. I cant say I'm not worried about the time when they'll get bolder... Whats done is done hun, for now we just have to push through knowing brighter days will soon shine upon us." She said comfortly holding Twilights hands. Tavi gripped tighter as she knew had slipped away to attend to his Guard duties.

"For the past few years, Trax and I have been conjuring a plan to escape. Not just this Ludus, not Canterlot, but far away from Equestrias reach. Blade and Moonshield have been with us for two years helping from a distance, and they've done well. With Strykers death and Traxs departure, we're down a few men. Before Traxs was taken away, we had discussed about bringing you and the two youngins with us. What do you think?" Kaveck said before turning to face Soul.

Twilight leaned her head on Tavi's shoulder as she held her hands. "How do you do it, Tavi? I love him, but how can we ever make it work?" She said in despair, wishing she could see Soul right now, and wishing they didn't have this huge barrier between them.

"It would seem Princess Sparkle is beginning to think like your niece did, your highnesses." Slipknot said entering the throne room with a snarky tone. "She's got too much of her brother in her. Could be dangerous for you two."

Soul turned around and thought for a moment. "I would want nothing more than to escape from here, and take you all with me..." He began before turning back to them with a troubled looked on his face. "...but I'm torn on another issue. Part of me still wants to leave here with honor, as I did long ago. If we broke out and escaped, I may not be able to take everybody I care about with me..." He said, thinking of being separated from Twilight again.

"I've been doing it for the past 18 years Hun, plus he left me a little gift that I could always remember him by." Tavi told her with a smile, a second later a slave girl walked in after being questioned by the guards outside, She was like a younger version of Tavi with the same dazzling violet eyes. "Dominus, I came as soon as could, what do you need?" She said with an angelic voice similar to Tavi's. "Nothing Darling, come sit down with us, I'm sure shes figured it out by now." Tavi told her in a motherly tone, she turned back to Twilight with proud smile on her face.

 

"Oh shove it you insolent worm, Nergals money is the only reason you have the rank you do, and your both Worms." Luna said harshly glaring at Slipknot. Celestia looked at him with disgust, "Twlights had outburst like this before, but she's never escalated to acts like Cadence did. Besides, not that you would know, but its very hard to turn away someone you care deeply for."

 

Kaveck nodded, "You and Trax shared that thought, he also wanted to leave with honor but that changed after Black made him Doctore, its rare for a Doctore to ever leave alive. He had to kill his predecessor, one on one hand to hand, just as it is written. Since youre Doctore now, you have the room next to mine across the yard." He said pointing to the two doors on the opposite side of the yard from the Gladiator barracks. "Tonight, I'll tell you everything. Are you prepared to do whats necessary?"

Twilight's eyes widened when she realized that this girl was Tavi and Trax's daughter. She had seen the slave girl around but didn't think anything about her, but seeing her eyes made it seem so obvious. "Tavi...she's beautiful. I didn't realize she was your daughter..."

Slipknot smirked evilly. "You flatter me, Queen Luna." He said slyly before looking to Celestia. "You had no problem turning Cadence away, and she's your niece. Did she not do the things Twilight is doing now leading up to her departure?"

Soul was quiet for a moment but nodded. "Yes, I'll help you. So will Kane and Oak."

"This is Violet, my greatest gift from Trax." Tavi said as Vi sat down on the floor between her legs, Tavi began to undo Vi's hair and began brushing it. "I got to see Papa again, I love getting to see him every day now." Vi said happily, she put on a grumpy face, "But He's always tapping my forehead, just like he did when I was 8." Tavi chuckled at her daughter acting like a little girl mad at her Father.

 

"You mistake your place Slipknot, it tore us apart to send Cadence away." Celestia boomed using her royal tone as she stood up, "I'd say your presence is long past but you were never welcomed her to begin with, take your leave, or he'll do it for you." As she finished, Traxs sword slid up against Slipknots neck making a small cut that leaked out a drop of blood, "And trust me, you wont be in one piece when you do." Seven other Guards also drew their swords and stood between the Queens and Slipknot.

Twilight giggled as she was still amazed that they had a child. "Tavi, I had no idea. It must be so wonderful to be able to have her." She then sighed as she leaned back against the wall. "If only me and Soul were so lucky."

Slipknot smirked as he turned to face Trax, not even bothered that the motion caused his sword to extend the small cut around his neck. "Well, if it isn't our old friend Trax. I'm sure you still remember the mercenary raid quite well? I was with the Republic then, and if not for us your little tribe would have gone extinct." He got close to Trax and looked him in the eye. "I guess that makes you in my debt then, wouldn't you say?" He then walked past Trax and left the room.

"It would if My tribe still existed today." Trax said monotonously as he sheathed his sword.

 

"Dont worry deary, anything can happen in time." Tavi told her as she started braiding Vi's hair.

Later that day as night falls upon the city.

 

Kaveck waited in his room, he sat on his knees praying to a monument of the Gods.

Soul walked in followed by Kane. They respectfully waited until Kaveck finished before speaking. They still waited for Oakly to join them.

Twilight sighed as she entered the throne room. She looked at Celestia and Luna with dispair in her eyes. "Please, forgive me for my outburst. It's been a stressful time and I just broke." She said. She wasn't being honest, but she had to be on good terms with them if she was to get by.

"You two took your sweet time." Oak said as he closed the door standing behind it. "Calm yourself Oak, they werent raised to stalk Wendigo's like you and your father." Kaveck said before he bowed once then got to his feet. Oak looked down then to the side, he glanced at Soul and Kane wondering if they knew about the rare creature, "Wendigos, they're tall skinny hairless humanoids, very... Very good in the art of stealth. Its said that once they know your scent, your a dead man walking. Growing up learning how to evade and stalk them, I'm telling you the rumors are true." He explained. "Then lets hope they dont use them to track us after we escape. Listen and listen well, I am about explain a Plan that was two years in the making and just did a complete 180 in one day." Kaveck began as he walked around the room in a circle, "First step, secure a person of interest inside the castle. Trax did that many years ago by getting friendly with Madam Octavia Melody, their daughter acts as a personal slave to Octavia getting messages to us and back. We should be seeing her soon, and Yes Oak, you have a sister. Congratulations." He said looking at Oak for him to close his mouth, Oak closed his jaws and waited for him to continue again. "Second, set up Trax to gain a Royal visit to the Ludus. That was supposed to be when we played step Three, use the celebration to slip out late at night while everyone is drunk or asleep. Now we're forced to re-figure things out, and Traxs last words were to ask for your help. I am but a Soldier born to follow and Obey." He said standing before Soul, he went to attention and placed his hand in a fist over his heart.

 

Celestia and Luna exchanged glances before rushing to hug her, "Sweetie, we dont want to lose you. It took every ounce of our strength to condem and watch Cadence be taken away for Treachery. We dont ever want to be put through that again."
